Dan slip pass thru the door as he heard some voice on the department head's office. He hadn't seen Egypt for quite some time now so he rushed to see if she has returned?

hmmm, Dan returned to his duty on the security desk before getting himself a nice drink over the cafeteria. the ministry is quite empty these days and he wondered what was going on.

Dan walked past the great door leading towards the office of the department head towards the security desk in the atrium that was now full of people that was going home. He never realized that it was nearly the end of his shift. and he must also prepare to go home as well.

We'll that was great!. the Halloween festivities with all these kids trick or treating was fun. Dan walk over after his Leave of Absence back to Security Desk he used to man. "Man, hope this was not a tiring day!" Dan muttered as he sat and straightened things up.

Dan slowly exited the Magical Security and Maintenance Offices after arranging his things at the breakroom. He ten walked toward the Security desk and sat there waiting for people to arrive. Since his vacation he was never busy with his work here.

It was quite early then and the people are arriving by floo network one by one. They are all approaching him one by one to have their wands checked and be searched before proceeding to the lifts.

Dan straightened up where he was seated. He stretched and he walked towards the cafeteria to get something to munch to let time pass by his duties.

Edward took out his wand and with a flick conjured the following sign for all to see.

As of this moment, until every square foot of the ministry has been searched, this desk will be unattended. If there are employees who wish to depart, please move to the cafeteria and when it is approved, you will be released.

On her way to the transportation level she saw the note that Edward had left on the security desk. She hadn't thought of that, but she was glad to have Edward on her team. She nodded and then headed toward the lifts.

On his way towards his shifts he noticed the note that the Security Division had left. I will presume that was not be manning the security desk at the moment. So what work will I take on next?

Lili walked up to the desk, she didn't really have a reason for being here, she'd just never been in the visitors entrance before so she had decided that for a change she would enter this way. She didn't need her wand weighed, but curiousity had gotten the better of her. She looked around, but she couldnt see anyone.

Edward saw someone at the desk and headed over there. "good day. How are you miss? How can I help you?"

Lili watched as a guy came over to the desk. "I'm good, you?" she told him, "I'm not sure if you can, I'm only exploring at the moment." She smiled at him.

He grinned as she said she was good. "Well, I would love to be of assistance if I can. My name is Edward. I'm head of the ministry security division."

Lili listened while he talked. 'I'm Liliana, but its just Lili,' she told him, 'I'm an unspeakable, so I'll leave it at that,' she finished. Before she began again, she glanced around the room. 'It's nice to meet you,' Lili told Edward.

Edward grinned as she introduced herself and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you as well. Is there anything I can do for you?" He was curious as she was an unspeakable and he wasn't sure how he could help.

Lili smiled as she looked at the look of curiousity on his face. 'I don't know if there is, I was in need of a break and instead of going to the break room decided to wander around,' she said.

He grinned. "Well, I'm glad you wandered down here. Would you like a cup of coffee? I have some very nice varieties."

'Sure,' Lili said to the coffee, she never used to drink it, but it was slowly growing on her.

Richard walked through the atrium and went to the desk. He got some files out of the third drawer down and began rifling through the sheets trying to find a application form someone had sent in requesting a tour of the ministry for a group of students. He spotted Edward next to the desk. "Y'alright Edward, how's tricks?" he asked after finishing the form with his signature.

He said to Lilli, right before Richard walked up. "It's right back here in the break room."

To Richard, Edward replied "not much. Things have slowed since the conference ended. How are you doing? Great job during the conference by the way."

"Ah, I'm ok, you know how things are. Yeah, did you see much of the conference? ?" replied Richard as he began to make a cup of coffee.

Lili waited while Edward was talking to someone she didn't know. 'Okay,' she replied before following him into the break room.

Shawn stepped up smoothing out the collar of his robes. "Excuse me," he said trying to get the attention of a security person. "I've got business in the International Division. " He pulled out his summons letter.

Egypt had been walking back to her office after lunch with her husband. "Yes sir I can help you." She said to him with a smile. She took his summons letter and reading over it. "Please place your wand on the scales." She asked him motioning to the scales on the desk. "And what is your name sir?" She asked kindly.

Shawn pulled his Ceder wand out of his robe pockets and placed it on the scales. "Shawn Parias," he said in a rather flat oice. He wasn't exactly happy to be spending the day in the Ministry. There were things that needed to be done around his shop.

She smiled at the man, he didn't seem to want to be here. She felt bad that he was summoned to a place he didn't want to be. "Not really where you want to be spending your free time huh?" She asked him. The little receipt printed out of the machine and the same time a little badge popped out for him. She tucked the wand receipt into the drawer to be filed and she handed him the badge. "Here you Mr. Parias. Please keep that pinned to your robes" She said kindly. "Thank you for visiting us today and I hope your business goes well." She stepped back to let him pass.

"No not really," he admitted with a hint of sheepishness. He took the badge and pinned it to his robes, then slipped his wand back into his pocket. "Thank you. I hope it does too." He started to walk away and then paused and returned. "I didn't catch your name," He gave her a smile.

She smiled at him. "Egypt Greenwood," She held out her hand for him to shake. He was a very cute young man, she had seen him somewhere but she couldn't place his face.

"Egypt." He shook her hand smiling more. "Pretty name." He leaned in a bit. She had nice lips. "Hopefully I'll see you when this meeting is over." And with a grin he turned and walked away from the desk.

She smiled as he said her name. "Thank you," She said blushing a bit as he leaned closer to her. "Well then I hope your meeting goes well," She giggled as she walked away toward the lifts.
