Through a frosted glass door behind the security desk in the Atrium lies a few offices. Down a short hallway and to your left lies the office for the Security Division Head. Continue down the hallway and at the very end is a blue and yellow door with round glass cut outs.

Egypt Greenwood

Department Head for Maintenance and Security

Is the nameplate stuck to the door. Walking into the office your feet are massages by the blue plush carpet under your feet. One expansive wall is covered from top to bottom with books of varying subjects, and on the other there are pictures of her family. Her husband and children can be seen running in and out of most of them. In the center of the room is a round Lucite desk with a blue chair behind.

Egypt's door is always open to her employees and co-worker. She is not big on ceremonies like knocking. Just be respectful if someone else is already inside. If Mrs. Greenwood is not in her office feel free to have a seat on the couch in front of her desk and help yourself to the chocolates on her desk and wait. Or leave her a nice little note and she will get back to you as soon as possible.

She noticed the Chanel skirt Reagan was wearing as she sat down on the loveseat. Reagan stock was rising in Egypt's book. "Oh yes I love that seat. Its the same chaise from Coco Chanel's bedroom. I bought it at Sotheby's." She explained to her. Chanel was like her fashion idol. Her and her daughter had replica Chanel closets at home. Egypt sat down in the chair in front of her desk and crossed her legs. "Please call me Egypt. We are very informal on Level 8 Ms. Taylor." she said with smile. She didn't stand on a lot of ceremony. It was so impersonal. "I am doing splendid." She wanted to gush about her impending pregnancy but she had heard that Reagan was not one for idle chitchat so she refrained. But I must say that I am sadden by the recent turn of events." She said growing very somber.

It was impossible not to feel a bit happier around this woman, who so clearly was filled with joy. It made Reagan's heart a bit lighter and her burden a bit less. Upon hearing the news, Reagan grinned and responded genuinely, "Oh that is amazing news! Congratulations! When are you due? Oh wow, it is so good to hear about new life being brought into this world, especially when others have left it so recently." Reagan thought of the French Minister and how senselessly his life had ended. She tried not to let the anger and sadness overpower the happiness she felt for Egypt.

She smiled once more, "Such is the circle of life! And did you say another set of twins? You already have one pair?" Reagan hadn't known the woman was a mother at all, let alone a mother of twins! Reagan stared in awe at this woman who managed to balance her home life and work life so well. She was capable of gaining success and didn't have to sacrifice having a family. I suppose I chose a different path, but I must admit, what I wouldn't give... Reagan sighed softly.

Trying to ignore her longing, Reagan used her reason for being in Egypt's office as a distraction, "Thank you for agreeing to assist me. With the recent..." Reagan swallowed, "events, I'd like to reinforce and possibly increase the security measures surrounding the Minister's Office. While that woman has been captured, it won't be long before the rumours spread and the Daily Prophet reports on our Ministry's blunder. People will assume our security is weak here, and those who want Cooper out of power, well, I'm afriad they may plot to reach him... and hurt him. Maybe even kill him. We obviously cannot allow that to happen. So, the long and short of it is, I was hoping you could increase the protections surrounding the Minister's Office, as soon as possible."

Egypt was positively glowing from her impending 5 pregnancy. She couldn't be more happy about it. "Oh thank you so much. We are all so happy about it." She didn't add that Nathan was still recovering from the shock of another multiple birth. "Well I'm 5 months now so we are looking at a May delivery." She said with a dimpled blush. "Sometimes the most beautiful flower grows in adversity." She told her softly.

Egypt giggled. "Yes ma'am. I have 5 children actually. 2 girls, Paris and Willow and 3 boys right now, Lucas, Dillon and JoJo. And my younger boys are the twins." She gushed. If there was anything she loved more than her husband it was her children. They were her lights, her life. She loved coming home to them and the whole family spending time together. She saw the longing in Reagan's eyes, but she refrained form saying something. That was a conversation that you had with your best friend or your mother. Not a coworker.

Egypt nodded along with Reagan as she spoke. "Oh yes I do agree with you. These recent events may plant the seeds in people's heads that we are in a weakened state and that we are an easy target. I do not want to project that image." She didn't want anything else to happen under her watch. Let alone another murder. She was already getting the owls from her mother about the incident. A pained expression crossed her face. She didn't want to read about their blunder in the paper, but it was unavoidable. Clare's overly dramatic personality wouldn't let her keep something this juicy from being splashed across the front page. No doubt with a heart wrenching reenactment of the drama. "Oh yes I can head up there right now and reinforce the charms and even add a few new ones." She explained.

She stood up and followed Reagan. "Yes ma'am of course I have the time now to tend to the Minister and his needs." She said as she opened the door and stood back to let Reagan through first.

Reagan nodded and stepped through the doorway, waiting beside it for Egypt to lock up if she needed to. As she waited, she confided in Egypt, "I'm going to warn you, I'm not sure that the Minister will think extra protections are needed. He seems to not have spoken much about what happened at the conference and I'm not sure if he's traumatized by it and doesn't want to think about it, or if he genuinely doesn't care. Either way, I apologize in advance if he's a bit... resistant."

Edward stood to greet Wyatt. He was glad to have him back. Extending his hand, he smiled. "Welcome back, Wyatt. How do you feel?"

Wyatt grasp Edward's hand and gave it a firm shake and said to him "I feel fine now and I con not wait to return to work." He looked over at his office to see his name still on the door and he flicked his wand and the door opened and he flicked it a second time and all of the paperwoork and other stuff in his office started to go to work type signing and stamping papers and then he flicked his wand for a third time and his office now started to organize itself so that it looked neat and orderly. He looked back at Edward while this happened and said "Well I know I have not lost my touch for getting work done." He flicked his wand and a spike flew from his office on to the counter and replaced to overly due empty ones one the counter. The full spikes then flew into his office and his typewriter started typing all the names that were on the spikes and the papers were organized by themselves. He then said "I am here to see one person in general but I am very glad to see you as well. After I am done we should meet up and discussed what has happened here while I was gone for so long. For now I shall see if I can find that one important person." Wyatt shook his hand one last time and walked around the corner looking for that one particular person.

Elan nodded as Wyatt worked. He shook his head and grinned. It was good to see this young man work so well. He was grateful to have his efficiency.

"Alright mate. Be careful. Ok? I don't need you out for so long again."

With that, Edward sat down and began his long overdue review of the security check sheet. He needed to get it knocked out and this was a perfect chance to get it done.

Taking out his quill, he scratched sites from the list, added a few and pared the list to a manageable form. Fairly well satisfied, he stood and walked to Egypt's office and laid the list on her desk with a note that she needed to review the list and ensure that it met her approval.

Attached Security Checklist

Level One - Make sure the door to the Minister's Suite is secured and no one without appropriate clearance has entered.
Level Two - respond to night alarms only, aurors get angry when you mess with their department. (Angry aurors lead to ugly things, don't test them)
Level Three - Ensure that no magical disasters have damaged the Ministry by leakage
Level Four - Ensure no magical creatures have escaped. (Take care as even the most non threatening creature may be able to kill you).
Level Five - Be prepared to assist foreign liason wizards who may have wandered
Level Six - Check doors and ensure no young apparaters are trying to cheat the examiners
Level Seven - Be on the look out for errant snitches and bludgers. Take care not to anger Mr. Newington, I have enough troubles with him without you lot making me have to see him more.)
Level Eight - Man the desk, watch for menacing visitors.
Level Nine - Avoid Level Nine if you don't wish to die an untimely death. This area is restricted and I don't want to stand before the minister explaining your being there.
Level Ten - Be prepared to assist in Court Security. Some of these Wizards are quite powerful and may underestimate your overestimation of your abilities.

Wyatt said good bye to Edward and walked down the hallway towards the Department Heads office. As he did this he tapped his wand on his head and cast a Disillusionment Charm on himself. He then flicked his wand at the door of her office and the door opened and he sneaked in and flicked his wand again and the door closed behind him. To his suprise the Department Head did not seem to notice what had happened and he sneaked into a dark corner and he knelt there until he knew when to reveal himself.

Edward walked into his office feeling a little tired. It had been a long night and he really felt like there was something going around making him feel ill. He figured soon he would have to go to St. Mungo's but for now, he would just be a trooper and fight through it.

He went to look for Egypt in her office, but she didn't seem to be in. Her office was a lot less decorated than when he was in here last week. He wondered if something was going on.

It had been a few weeks since Egypt had been rushed to the hospital. She had went into premature labor. The twins were fine though they were still in the hospital. She walked into her office and saw Edward there. Her usual glow was gone and she looked as if she hadn't really taken time to get ready this morning. "Hello Edward," She said softly.

She gave him a small smile. "Oh I'm alright. Ben and Devon are still at the hospital and I've been sleeping there every night," She told him as she walked over to her desk. She looked at the the picture of the family on holiday at the Romanian dragon reserve. Nathan was hanging from the neck of a dragon while the kids tried to grab his ankles. She smiled at the picture as she picked it up and tucked it into her bag. "Well you may have heard that I am stepping down and leaving the Ministry." She said as she put a few more pictures into her bag.

Out of no where a black cat came out of the corner and jumped up on Egypt's desk and laid right in the middle looking at the door and watched Edward and Egypt as they talked. The cat did not move and it just looked at Edward and Egypt as they talked.

She looked down at that same cat from Level one jumped on her desk. She had no idea who it belonged to or who it was. She stroked the cat. "Come to see me off?" She asked it softly.

The cat purred as she stroked it and then it told her by mental thought Yes I have. I will miss you very much and I do hope to see you again. which sounded really familiar to her. The cat then moved into her lap where it could be petted better.

She smiled down at the cat as it purred. She knew as head of the ministry security she should have checked the cat out, but she honestly didn't have the energy. It almost seemed like the cat was talking to her. She heard a voice which sounded like Wyatt. She hadn't seen him in a few weeks. She sat down in her chair as the cat followed. She was going to miss this place. She ran her hand through the jet black fur.

She looked at the the picture of the family on holiday at the Romanian dragon reserve. Nathan was hanging from the neck of a dragon while the kids tried to grab his ankles. She smiled at the picture as she picked it up and tucked it into her bag. "Well you may have heard that I am stepping down and leaving the Ministry." She said as she put a few more pictures into her bag.

Edward was about to respond when from no where, a cat jumped into Egypt's lap and he stood. He was concerned that perhaps there was something odd about the cat. It seemed to have a presence that the average cat did not. Seeing that Egypt did not show any concern, he sat back down and grasped his wand.

"I was unaware you were leaving. I have enjoyed working with you and I know that your next employer will benefit from the Ministry's loss."

"I'm sorry that this is rather sudden and everything, but I really need to be with my family." She said. She wasn't one to sit back and just live off her family's money, but her family needed her and she put nothing above their well being. "I've really enjoyed working with you as well Edward. This place runs a lot better with you around," She smiled warmly. "Oh this place will hardly skip a beat when I'm gone."It was a little sad to think she didn't have many people to say goodbye to.

She packed up the rest of her pictures and books. The only thing was the furniture. She would send Tweet to get all that sorted out later. She looked around at her office without all her things in it. She looked back at Edward. "Um well I think that is it," She walked around to the front of her desk. "Sir it has been my esteemed pleasure to work with you and I will miss you." She told him honestly as she held out her hand.
