Edward blushed slightly as she complimented him and his team. He certainly was not worthy of the praise. "Well, I'm nothing without the team." As she continued and provided some guidance, he nodded. "Yes, I agree. I should have done it before. I'll get right on it."

She giggled as he blushed. That was sweet, she usually only had the power to make Nathan blush. "Oh well don't rush on it or anything. Get back into the swing of things and just along the way work on that. Alright?" She smiled.

He nodded as she said not to rush things. "Ok. Is there anything else you need?" he asked.


Following the breach of security at the IWFC

Edward went to his office and sat behind his desk. Placing his hands upon the top of the desk in the proper spots he spoke the incantation that had been passed to him by his predecessor. "Vista di costruzione!

He never was able to determine why the man had made the incantation in Italian, but it had worked everytime and so he stared at the top of his desk as a grid appeared which showed each floor of the ministry. If he decided he needed to zoom in for a closer look on a specific floor, he could tap with his wand that floor and see a floor plan with what appeared to be closed circuit tv images of that floor. The only areas this didn't work were the minister's office suites and the department of Mysteries. He had worked hard trying to extend his vision to those places, but had been unsuccessful to this point.

Edward tapped the 10th floor grid and began to scan the images of the room which housed the IWFC stage.

Forrester made his way to the magical Security Head of department office and knocked on Egypt's door, and before getting an answer, he made his way into the office.
"Egypt we need to talk" Forrester said as he looked at Egypt a serious look in his eyes.

Egypt looked up from the map that Edward had pulled up. "That was a neat trick Edward." she said to him.

She saw Forrester walk into her office. "Yes," she asked him with a grim smile.

"I think we need to be alone" Forrester added as he looked at Edward. "You can fill your employees on everything if you wish later but now we need to have this conversation alone" Forrester revealed.

Edward looked up. "Thanks. I wish I could take the credit, but it was my predecessor who set it up."

He saw the head of the security department walk to Egypt's office and told her, "I think he wants to talk to you." Edward had a bad taste in his mouth for Aurors because they always seemed to look down on his people.

She gave Forrester a quizzical look as he requested that they be alone. "Yes of course." She said. "Edward would you excuse us please?" She asked him. She gave him a small smile hoping he wouldn't be offended by this request.

"Well I will have to send him a bottle of firewhiskey for Christmas." She said to him with a wink. She looked up as a memo flew into her office.

She caught it in her hands and read through it. That was certainly a strange request. She would certainly compile with it. She sent off a memo to Reagan to let her know that she was on top of everything.

Edward shrugged. "Sure. I'll leave my office and you'll have to send the firewhisky to his son. He passed away about 5 years ago."

Edward waved his hand over the images in a counterclockwise figure eight and the wood of his desk returned. "I'll be at the security desk if you need me." With that, Edward went out to the Ministry security desk.

"Very well Egypt as you know we have gone down the hill since the conference... With the mosquito lady and the international thief striking again and getting past us we need to make sure that this doesn't happen again" Forrester explained.
"So I am putting a plan that involves everyone that has to do with Magical Law Enforcement and Magical Security... Are you in on our plan?" Forrester asked.

Egypt felt so bad for asking Edward to leave, but she didn't know what Forrester wanted and he wouldn't request they be alone unless it was very important. "Thank you so much Edward. I really appreciate this." She gave him a smile. He was a good man. She would have to think of a nice Christmas present to get for him.

She sat down behind her desk to hear what Forrester had to say. "Yes I did notice that." She said with a smirk. The man was was always so formal and said aloud every thought that he had in his head. She wondered if he ever held back and edited himself. "Well Mr. Forrester I can say that I was a bit rebuffed when neither myself nor my head of security was even consulted on the security of the ministry or even the foreign ministers. My team and I are highly skilled and trained witches and wizards. We certainly require a bit more training than the law enforcement squad." She said. She was finally getting all of this out that had been building up for months. "With that being said I would welcome any chance for us to work with you and your on level 2. We have a lot to offer on level 8." She told him with a slight smirk. "So what can we do to help?" She asked leaning back in her chair.

"Good to know that" Forrester said as he looked at Egypt evaluating her. "I came up with a plan that will ensure us a striking win" Forrester added as he was about to explain what he meant by there win. "By that I mean catching two criminals at once, the woman terrorizing the minister and his wife, and the international thief... Two birds one stone" Forrester said as he raised to of his fingers.
"Now you must want to know about the plan don't you?"

She raised an eyebrow at him. They had been working on that jewel thief since before she left the Wizengamot. "Well yes Forrester I suppose that is why you are here." She said with a bemused look on her face. The man was always so formal. "So i would like to know your plan and how I can help." She wanted to know what plan she had some up with.

"Very well" Forrester said as he took out his wand and waved it around the his head as he muttered "Muffliato!"
"I am sorry for casting this charm without your permission but as you know walls have ears these days and lets just make sure that of one more thing" Forrester added as he flicked his wand again and a couple of pop sounds were heard all over the office. "Don't worry I just made every bug, insect, mosquito or anything disappear" Forrester added.
"Now we can talk... So I have been thinking of setting an irresistable attraction to the thief that would lead him back here to the ministry this time as well we act as we are protecting the ministry to the highest level so that he wouldn't suspect a thing, then we let out a false lead that the minister and his wife are attending a party here at the ministry as well in the most secure place I think we should allow it to be on the 1st floor and we as well let slip that we have people checking for mosquitos in the ministry and maybe have some spill that the only place that will be protect against this inspection is the department of mystery... Both the woman and the thief will then head towards the ministry each willing to strike and get his objectives done and when the time comes we surround both of them and make sure we get them back... Of course for more save reasons we can also make sure that both the minister and his wife are just copies...
But as I was planning this, I had in mind that I have a very clever thief on his hands... So I jumped on another plan, we can make sure that the place the thief would strike at will be nothing but the place where the minister and his wife would be visiting as the thief is very interested in landmarks.... So what do you think Egypt?" Forrester asked after explaining his plan

She blinked at him a few times as she tried to wrap her mind around what he was saying. It was hard to process everything that he threw at her. It took her a few minutes to piece everything together. "Well you certainly have thought this out, but are we seriously going to put the minister and his wife in danger to catch these criminals? Use them as some sort of live bait?" She asked.

"Well again I am thinking of using copies and clones of them... I have mastered a charm that went back to the day of my greatest grandmother... A cloning charm and I was going to use it on both the minister and his wife, the charm just needs a bit of concentration from both the minister and this wife" Forrester revealed.

Oceana entered level 8 and walked up to the desk

She looked at him. "Well that is good then. I think that is a good idea and I would be happy to offer my services and my team is at your disposal." She told him with a smile.

She saw someone she didn't know through the glass of her office door. She held up her hand to Forrester. "Excuse me a moment please." She told her as she got up and walked over to the door. She opened it. "Yes can I help you?" She asked with a smile.

Oceana saw a woman open a door and address her she walked over and she smiled at her held out her hand and said "hello my name is Oceana Mason i am from the Apperation center on level 6 Angelica our new division head sent me as we had an ant colony that appeared in our office, we were also wondering if you could investigate if there are other ant colonies in the building and on our floor"

"I am so pleased to meet you Oceana. I am Egypt Greenwood." She said introducing herself. Egypt listened and nodded her head. "Yes that would be a problem or anyone to have a ant colony in their office." She said with smile. "Well I will have it taken care of don't worry. But for future reference Attica is the new maintenance head and she would be the go to person for this. We will sort out this problem for you." She announced as she looked up at the woman.

Oceana blushed slightly "sorry Egypt i will take note for future refrence thank you so much" and with that Oceana headed back up to level 6

"No need to be sorry dear. Its quite alright." She told her with a smile. "Tell your boss don't fret it will be taken care of." She told her with a smile. "No problem at all. Thank you for bringing that to my attention." She smiled as the girl left her office. She made a note of the complaint and walked back in to finish speaking to Forrester.

"I hope I am not holding you off" Forrester said as Egypt went back into her office.

She waved her hand at Forrester. "Of course not. This is my job." She told him with a smile on her face. "I am glad that you thought enough of us on level 8 to include us in this." She sat back down behind her desk. She cast the muffliato spell. "Well I must say that your plan seems fool proof. and with our help in securing the premise we should be able to catch both these people. I think we need to speak with Edward about this and get his input. I dare say he knows more of the ins and outs of the ministry than I do and his help would be invaluable." She explained to him.

"Egypt!" Lorraine exclaimed, quickly knocking and opening the door of the Magical Maintenance Department Head. She had just come from a fabulous little meeting with the shopkeeper at Florean's, where together they thought of the most awesome idea to celebrate Christmas at Diagon Alley with the shopkeepers and department heads. Surely Egypt would just love to join in the fun.

Spotting the woman at her desk, Lorraine held out the charmed box for her to see. "I've got the greatest news! And I know you're just going to die of love at this. I've just discussed with the woman at Florean's Ice Cream, Bella, and we've planned out a wonderful idea to celebrate Christmas at Diagon Alley. We've decided to do a Secret Santa, and we'd like to ask you to join in on all the fun."

Setting the charmed box down on the woman's desk, she patted it lovingly with her hand. "In this box, we've placed the names of every Ministry Department Head and each and every Diagon Alley Shopkeeper and Assistant," Lorraine explained. "The box was charmed so that when you tap your wand on the box and say 'Accio!', a certain name designated just for you will shoot from the box and land in your hands. Remember not to tell anyone whose name you drew - not even me! All you have to do at that point is buy a gift for that person and somehow get it delivered to them without knowing who sent it - they'll need to guess! Won't that be fun?!" Lorraine's hazel eyes twinkled with delight.

"Now, if you decide to participate, we'll have a little party at Florean Fortescue's on December 19 (OOC: December 19-21 anytime is the roleplay). You can come bringing your favorite party foods and drinks, and we'll see if anyone has been able to figure out their Secret Santa!" Lorraine continued. "So, now then. Would you like to participate? If you would, tap your wand once upon this little box, say the correct incantation, and your name will just pop right on out of there! Go on...give it a try!"
