Through a frosted glass door behind the security desk in the Atrium lies a few offices. Down a short hallway and to your left lies the office for the Security Division Head. Continue down the hallway and at the very end is a blue and yellow door with round glass cut outs.  Egypt Greenwood
Department Head for Maintenance and Security
Is the nameplate stuck to the door. Walking into the office your feet are massages by the blue plush carpet under your feet. One expansive wall is covered from top to bottom with books of varying subjects, and on the other there are pictures of her family. Her husband and children can be seen running in and out of most of them. In the center of the room is a round Lucite desk with a blue chair behind.
Egypt's door is always open to her employees and co-worker. She is not big on ceremonies like knocking. Just be respectful if someone else is already inside. If Mrs. Greenwood is not in her office feel free to have a seat on the couch in front of her desk and help yourself to the chocolates on her desk and wait. Or leave her a nice little note and she will get back to you as soon as possible. | |

Attica headed back to Egypt's office to report on her work. Egypt was occupied with some new employees, so Attica took a seat on a couch outside of Egypt's office and waited quietly. Placing the clipboard on the table beside the couch, Attica relaxed into the comfort of the couch. She felt tired and drained, but knew that this was a good kind of exhaustion. It meant that she was getting better. She closed her eyes momentarily and drifted off to sleep.

"Knock, knock." she said softly, her face still bright red. "I have that inventory of the supply cupboard for you. We seem to be missing a few things. Do you have a minute to go over it?"

"Excellent." said Attica as she moved further into the room. "Now, let's see...." She looked down at the list she was clutching in her hands. "Okay, here we go. It seems we are low on..."
Attica ran her finger down the list as she recited the missing supplies to her boss. There weren't many things missing, but some of them were quite crucial to the maintenance of the ministry.
"...and we need some more magical mess remover." she finished, glancing over at her boss. "Did you manage to get that all?"

Attica was startled at the sudden appearance of one of her co-workers, and even more startled when the man came over and shook her hand. She hadn't realized that the department knew about her promotion already. She blushed profusely and thanked the man for his congratulations. She held her tongue when he addressed Egypt and asked the woman about his next assignment. As she was still unsure of her roles and responsibilities, she waited to see what Egypt would say to the man.

"Now Attica I want you to know that I am going to leave maintenance up to you. You can run your people as you see fit. I had them working on different levels but you can rearrange that is you want to. Feel free to rearrange that as well. I don't want you feel like you have to come with me for every little thing. You are in charge, ok?" She told her with a smile.

After cleaning the fountaini and cleaning himself, Dan koncok thru the door of the Department Head Office with all hopes that his Divisiions Head is still inside. He was relieved to see her still talking to Egypt. "Pardon my intrusions Madames, but I am here to report that the fountain was spck and span as we spoke. i managed to do the task in half the time and is ready to do whatever assignment you see that needs to e done." dan smiled gracefully toward his Heads and stood there for their reply. | |

Attica looked over at her boss expectantly. She smiled at her brightly. "I trust you Attica. Don't worry so much." She had total faith in Attica's abilities otherwise she wouldn't have oked her appointment as her division head. "Well not really just keeping everything clean and in working order. We have the holidays coming up and I want the Ministry to look its best, and I may have to speak with Ms. Taylor as to what decorations the Minister would like to see." She said as she looked through her desk. "Ah here you go." She handed over the stack of order forms and a set of keys. "So you don't have to go through me for the orders anymore. And there are the keys to the supply closet and the weather podium. You and I are the only ones with the keys so guard them with your life." She said seriously.

"That is a lovely thing to say Edward. But you do an excellent job and I want you to know that I have noticed that and I thank you for that." She told him. You could never thank anyone enough and she certainly wanted to try. "Well I really hope your holiday was good we all need to get away sometimes. Yes your team did a great job while you were gone and you have a awesome team." She leaned back in her chair and was silent for a minute. "Well I think we need a daily rounds and activities lists for your team so that they don't have to come to come and ask every five minutes of what they should be doing." She explained to him.

Attica nodded and accepted the keys from Egypt. She immediately fastened them to the long chain she retrieved from one of her many pockets. It already had a multitude of keys on it which were labeled neatly with their function in minuscule letters. Clearing her throat, Attica took a minute to think if there was anything else she needed from Egypt.
"Oh! Egypt!" she exclaimed, "Would it be possible to get a staff list? I know that there have been a lot of hires in this department, and I am sad to say that I don't know everyone I work with. This way I can check in with each of them and start assigning them regular tasks."
