A clear glass door on the Ministry of Magic's Eighth Floor led to a long, narrow meeting room. The room didn't appear to be your average meeting room, however. Rather than hosting a long, business-like table, multiple sofas were pushed against the long walls. Against the short wall, furthest from the door, was a big, gold-colored armchair, which contrasted nicely with the black walls and purple sofas.

Despite the meeting room's sense of casualness, something about it also seemed quite majestic.

The Meeting Room is used as the location for meetings called by Delilah Carter, the head of Magical Maintenance and Magical Security.

Jack stood by the door blinking for several seconds. And finally exhaled a steady breath. Woooooooooooow. Was this place always so crazy? This job would definitely take some getting used to.

He pulled out his wand, twirling it in his hand, and leaned on the door. Rolling his eyes, he wandered into the hallway. Giant cockroaches... right, right.

"Right Ms Carter, I'll keep an eye out on several floors. Check for sightings or injuries, preferably the former" Richard said walking swiftly from the room, wand held aloft.

Delilah slipped into the Meeting Room, a few identical pieces of bright green parchment in her left hand. Slipping her wand out with her other hand, the Department Head magically sealed one of them to the wall, so her Security Workers were sure to see it.

Once she was satisfied that the note was securely positioned so everyone would see it, Delilah headed off to put up more of these announcements.
