Rebecca managed to breathe again as he held onto her, and then he smiled crookedly, she fell in love with the smile instantly, she was starting to like being called Becca, she'd heard it so many times, and never thought anything of it, but now Brian had called her it, she loved it, oh, now she needed to find her voice "Really?" she asked him surprisedly "Why's that then?" she asked him as she ignored the water that had hit her face.

Brian seemed got his breathe again like Becca. He laughed for no reason, he was happy, excited felt like a luckiest man in the whole earth. Why not?! It was his first kiss and she was the one who stole his tender heart. His sister would have fun on him when he told this when he get back home. He nodded and let his right hand sneak through her silky soft brown hair. "Yes, 'cuz i'm not that much attractive or popular..and.." he paused only to enjoy her closeness, "..bit unlucky. But now..I feel lucky and feel like a teenage school boy who's fall in love for the first time," he laughed his heart out.

Rebecca smiled at Brian, she remembered her first kiss, and how she'd felt wierd "Who told you that you weren't attractive?" she asked feeling suddenly protective "Why are you unlucky?" she asked softly as she regained her balance.

Brian shrugged, "Dont know..sort of self opinion i guess, and moreover i've seen lot of good looking guys around the Ministry..so.. " he smiled back, noticed that she slowly gained back her balance. Good and not good. Hehe..

"Umm..because I had a crush on someone and she chose the other guy.." he said, looked up at the fountain, not wanting to continue that story. It was not fun. He smiled back at her, "But..you changed everything.." he breathed into her ear.

Rebecca shook her head "You got that one wrong then" she told him "So have I, and you're one of them" she smiled, wow, she couldn't stop smiling, she stood up properly and gazed at Brian "Oh, well, that's not bad luck, that's just a woman too blind to see" Rebecca smiled at Brian "I did?" she blushed

Brian chuckled and hugged her tightly. She was smart and knew how to handle the difficult and embarassing situations. He felt extremely lucky to have her for him. "You're so sweet as sugar candy," he winked at her, "Yes, i feel more powerful now as you my lady in charge in my arms.." he said, honestly, dtermined to make her blush more and more. Man..she look so cute when she blush..

Rebecca smiled "Thanks" she blushed again "You're already pretty powerful" she told him "You are a department head" she told him "I feel like a queen in a chess game" she smiled "So protective, and I can do a lot of things" she winked and hugged him back.

"Oh..really?" Brian said, "So the Queen want to swim in the mighty magical fountain?" he smirked as he scooped her in his arms suddenly and walked towards the fountain and stood up on the round granite counter at the base of the fountain, laughing at her.

Rebecca laughed "What? Swim? Huh?" she asked as he laughed at her "I don't think we're allowed?" she giggled as she held on tightly to Brian, if she was going in, so was he, she knew he was only messing around though, she glanced around and smiled as she realised it was basically empty where they were, she hugged Brian and shook her head at the water with a quiet laugh.

"Haha..yes, we're not allowed to do that, we'll be expelled if we do that.." He laughed, but letting her enjoy the water flowing over her head. The water dripping down and making her shirt wet over the shoulder. Ouch..no it was not good. He gently let her down on her feet, "Come on, let's go before you get fully wet, " he pulled her away from the water. He didnt like to give her wet glimpse to others. Aw..since when you became possessive..Haha..

Rebecca smiled at Brian "Expelled?" she laughed softly as he stood her up, her wet hair rested on her blouse and started to wet it even more "Oh," she muttered as she noticed it, she pulled out her wand and pointed it at her hair and blouse "All dry" she grinned as her hair dried out and her blouse became warm, she stood next to him and held his hand again, since he'd been kind enough to let her stand up.

He watched her doing the spell work to get dry herself as he leaned against the wall. Wet or dry she looked great in her white blouse and black trousers. He found himself admiring over her slim and beautiful physic, he looked down, chuckled to himself. No need to shy man, you're a man and it's natural. He entwined his fingers with hers as she was standing next to him, making speechless in every gracious moves. "Shall we move to the next place?" he asked, gently squeezed her hand.

Rebecca smiled at him and slid her wand back into her pocket "Yep, wherever you want to go" she nodded "Since you're the one getting to know the ministry" she glanced at him with a small smile.

Brian shook his head, "Nuuh..there are only few places i've to explore still," he admitted honestly. "Okay...now there's only one place we must go.." he ran his free hand through his hair, "Cafeteria, I'm hungry..dont you?" he asked her, noticed her different style of wand. "Can I see that Becca?" he said, as he walked down the corridor towards the Cafeteria.

Rebecca smiled "Ok..." she agreed to going to the cafeteria "I'm hungry too" she nodded and then she stopped walking "Er..." she hesitated, it would be ok, as long as she could see it, she pulled out her wand and glanced at it anxiously "Ok, but look after it" she warned him as she handed it over, she felt so vulnerable without her wand, she moved closer to Brian to keep the feeling of security present.

Brian glanced at her like what? when she halted suddenly and hestitated to give her wand. So she seemed so obsessed with her wand. He took the wand in his hand and pulled her closer to his body, said, "Dont worry..love, I'll take care of it..like i care you.." he gently kissed on her forhead to get rid of her fear.

"Okay..made up of Ash and hair from the Mane of a Kelpie.." he checked out the smooth and shiny marble handle, with a yellow stone at the end. "Nice wand, no wonder you're obessed with this," he smiled and handed it to her safely. "let's go.." he crossed the corrider with Becca quickly. He could hear his stomach growled in hunger.

Addie approached the golden fountain and plopped herself down on one of the steps. Kris had said the second note would be there at nine a.m., and so she was a little bit early.

She took this time to look at her outfit, to make sure it wasn't too dressy or too casual. She had on some purple robes that had little wands shooting sparks on them, over a pair of dark-wash skinny jeans and a 'The Wierd Sisters Experience grey tee shirt. Her shoes were her favorite, some mixed and matched converse. Her right foot was purple, her left was yellow. It gave off a nice feeling about it, but since Addie didn't know where she was going, this would be her walking-around outfit.

She grinned around at the busy people. What would her boss say when she was late to work today? Oh, well. She could just say she was 'researching a hard-hitting news story'. Yup, that would work. As long as she actually did find a story.

Oh, great.

Without warning, a piece of paper folded like an origami crane had made it's way floating around the fountain, carrying something in a small box behind it. Searching for the person it was to go to, it landed a few hops away from a woman with black hair. Almost as if it was a real animal, it turned it's head to look at Addie, and jumped into her lap.

When the crane made its way to the new owner, it unfolded itself to reveal a note:

Good morning sunshine. Hope the start of your day is going well so far. I'm excited for our date tonight. Wondering what to wear? Open the box. You'll see what I'm wearing.

Your next clue will be found at 10:30AM at your desk.

The box rattled itself around, and toppled over next to Addie. Out popped a miniature version of wearing a suit and tie with... Converse? Hmm. Interesting. He sat himself down on the edge of the fountain, looking up at Addie. The little figure winked at her.

Addie was sitting down, humming her mum's favorite song under her breath, when a little -quite majestically folded-paper bird hopped right next to her, then into her lap. As it unfolded, Addie gasped. She had never seen magic used like this-in such an awe-inspiring way.

She read the note, and smiled. A little clue? And a tip to know what she should wear-one of the things she had been questioning. How sweet. She was about to pick up the box when it fell over. The little figurine looked just like Kris. She examined him in her palm. He was wearing a suit and tie...and how cute! Mini converse. Habitatually, she looked down at her own pair of the athletic shoes. Well, at least she didn't have to buy new ones. And she had the perfect dress...

She placed the figure in her other palm and she read the note over. Okay, her desk at 10:30. She placed the note in her purse and lifted it up on her shoulder, admiring the figure that Kris called 'mini me'. Kris was so....different from all the other men she had dated. He was...fresh. New.

Well, on to the Daily Prophet headquarters! She stood up and looked around. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, she grinned to herself and walked off, standing a little taller.

Kris strolled his way out of the lifts and into the Atrium area. He was so glad that the day was over, and now it was his turn to have fun. Kris was dressed down a bit, having left his tie and dress pants in his office. He was wearing a pair of khaki pants - his outfit for now at least.

Walking towards the fountain, he looked around. This place never seemed to amaze him, with how busy it was and how many people and how big it was - it shocked him that he didn't get lost. But he was good enough to know that he wouldn't.

Kris had his arms behind his back as he stood next to the fountain, waiting for his date to come down and meet him.

Addie wandered towards the fountain, her wavy black hair blowing all around her in the slight wind. 5:00 PM on the dot, and her smile was still intact. Mini Addie and Mini Kris were safely secured with the notes inside her bag, and so she walked around the sidewalk to the fountain. Addie surveyed the small crowd-and Kris was all the way on the other side. She laughed at herself. She walked quickly towards him, then tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, mister, do you know where Kris Atkins is?" she asked, mock-inquisitively. Addie took her bag off her shoulder and took out a piece of paper. "This is for you," she smiled, and handed it to him folded like one of his origami birds.

When he would unfold it, he would uncover an extremley lifelike, moving drawing of himself laughing and enchanting figurines. It was a breathtaking picture-one that Addie couldn't wait for him to open up. "I didn't know how to make it unfold itself," she laughed.

Kris had managed to walk a little further from the fountain than he had meant to. Probably because he was early - and slightly bored. Come on Addie. Then he looked at his watch to reveal it was only 4:58. Oh, whoopsies.

He put his hands in his pockets when he felt a tap on his shoulder, and someone asking where Kris Atkins was. Should he play dumb?

Yeah.

"I don't know, you might want to ask that handsome gentleman over there," he said, pointing to a Gringotts goblin that had wobbled in. He laughed, and then turned to her. "Hello darling. And thank you. Don't worry about the charm - I never would have known if Karma hadn't have shown me."

He unfolded the paper to reveal a drawing of him that was extremely lifelike and moving. She was quite the artist, and was impressed.

"This is extraordinary," he said. "Thank you so much."

From behind his back, he pulled a single red rose and handed it to her.

"And this, is for you." He took her hand and kissed the back of it, gently. Then he smiled, a warm and inviting smile.

"I guess I should go then," Addie pretended to walk over to the goblin. "Karma seems like a smart girl." she winked. She touched the back of her head nervously as he opened the drawing...would he liked it? Would he hate it? Would he run away from her and go talk to the goblin instead?

But then he complimented her on it and thanked her. Whew. She wasn't nervous anymore, more of a relaxed feeling. She looked down at her mixed-matched converse to hide her blush. "You're welcome. It was just...er, a little sketch..."

As he pulled out a rose, Addie inhaled sharply. It was so simple and sweet and beautiful at the same time. "Thanks Kris." she grinned, but froze as he kissed the back of her hand. "Err..." she said, or something like it. She looked into his eyes for about six seconds.

"OK, so, where are we going?" she teased Kris.

"Hold it missy," he said, grabbing her shoulders and smiling as she pretended to walk away. Oh, so she was a jokster? Well alrighty then. Two could play at that game. But not now, he wasn't feeling up to it.

Kris watched her face as he handed her the rose. It was a good look, and he was happy she had appreciated it. And the stare she gave him after kissing the back of her hand? Priceless. He could tell she wasn't used to this kind of attention.

He laughed at her question, and put his arm around her. "Well gee, I don't know. Maybe Kris can tell you." He led her along the Atrium, and closer to the fountain. "First, we're going to go to my house, so you can meet Ronaldo and Stacie. Then, we go off to our date. And after, either drinks or ice cream. Take your pick."

Addie beamed after Kris put his arm around her. "He can? KRIIS!" she yelled at the goblin, who turned around with it's finger in it's nose, glaring at her. "Eep!" she squeaked and hid behind Kris. As soon as the goblin turned back, she went up back next to the real Kris Atkins, giggling softly. (Not the mini-one, not the goblin. Flesh-and-blood human Kris.)

As Kris told her the schedule, she took a mental note. Ronaldo and Stacie, date, ice cream or drinks. Okay. "I think I'll decide that later." Addie grinned and spun around twice. Whenever she was excited, some invisible parts of her personality started to come out. "So, where's your house?" she asked eagerly. Gotta have a clear 'destination' for her apparation...
