| SnitchStealer <3 Chocolate Rain=Mmm! Keeping her away from her work?
Like if that was something possible. She hadn’t walked back to level one, back to her work because.. because she didn’t want to. Otherwise she would have done it.
Oh merlin, she was confusing herself. “Believe me Nathan, You are not keeping me from anything.”
Angelina slightly raised an eyebrow.
Did he just speak slightly coldly?
It was the truth that she didn’t know him very well, but, she had never thought of him talking that way.
For some reason she felt like she wanted to laugh at his voice, the way he had spoken made her want to laugh.
The woman pressed her lips together as he handed her the book, but quickly her wilness to laugh got lost with Nathans words. “I’m enormously sure that I’m not going to trip.” she said firmly while she took the book from the mans hands.
She wasn’t going to trip. There was a minimal chance of that happening.
Well.. maybe a little more than minimal.
A little more than more than minimal…. ?
And now Mister Perfection was grinning.
Nice.
She had to press her lips quite hard against each other not to grin or even smile when she observed him putting his hands on his hips and talking.
At least she tried not to do it.
But she wasn’t quite sure if he could notice that she was smiling or grinning or whatever she was doing. Blaze Phoenix sounds great.. but Nathan Greenwood.. it has something.. different?”
Ohh Merlin. “Erm.. sure. It’s fine.” The young woman answered with a confused smile. “Yes, Angelina is quite a big name.”
Was it?
She had never noticed it.
Angelina raised an eyebrow with a smile. “Oh you thought that I meant something? So.. what did you think that I was saying?” she asked Nathan.
Probably he thought that she was saying something disagreeable.. or even worst than that. “You’re welcome Nathan.”
And he did the eye thing again.

| Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science! “Glad you’re not working as hard as you were when I first met you?” He smirked – she wasn’t the workaholic she liked to make out she was.
He noted the expression on her face. He was annoyed and she seemed to be amused by this fact. He was at the end of his tether… he’d put his own father in hospital, his girlfriend of only two months was two months pregnant and Angelina was standing there looking like she was going to laugh in his face! “Let’s hope not. Wouldn’t want you to fall and hurt yourself.” He said sarcastically before he was able to stop himself. Very nice, Nathan… not. You git. He forced a smile to make it look like he was teasing her again. He didn’t know what had got into him lately. Most probably stress of recent events - but he never usually let things get to him so much. “Nathan Greenwood has something different?” He always thought his name was exceedingly boring. “You say the nicest things, love.” Well sometimes anyway.
Maybe he would just stick to calling her love. It seemed to come more naturally to him… and it meant he didn’t have to remember the names of all the millions of women in the Minsitry. “Oh I don’t know.” He replied. He thought she meant she pitied him but he wasn’t about to say that to Angelina. She would probably be offended if he implied such a thing. “How things at home?” he asked her. “Parents still smothering you?” Poor girl. Parents could be a royal pain in the bum.

He laugh with happiness as he watch the head fall into the water below. He wasn't a killer, he was more of a vigilante at the most. On the walls of the fountain once again he marked them with he's words of anger.
Sparky grinned happily as he looked over at he's beautiful handy work. With a snap of he's bony fingers, he was off to level four. Bailey the House Elf pulled his sobbing girl, Tubby, up to the Magic is Might fountain. He laughed at the site of the beheaded wizard statue. Not that he would ever want a real wizard, much less his masters, to suffer such a fate, oh noes! But seeing Sparky's handiwork made the rebellion feel more real, not just something that they had idly discussed while slaving over hot stoves for wizards that didn't even acknowledge their existence.
House Elf Rights seemed... possible. "You is to be staying with me. We is doing this!" Bailey said firmly to Tubby. He surveyed the statue and inspiration struck. He snapped his fingers. Underneath the graffiti words, he had added his own comment: Quote: YOU IS GIVING HOUSE ELFS FREEDOMS, YOU BAD WIZARDS! Okay, it wasn't being poetry. But it got the point across. He looked around the area, trying to see if any of the others had shown up yet. Not one. In the meantime... time for Tubby and Bailey to be causing some troubles!
His eye landed upon the light purple paper-airplane memos that sailed through the air, all of them focused on getting to their destinations. Hah, he thought, We is changing that! He snapped his fingers and cast an Elf Magic spell. In unison, all the memos in the area took a nosedive, crashing into the highly polished marble floor.
He laughed. "Tubby! You is to be trying this! We is causing mischief for our wizards who is treating us bad!" He turned to Tubby and pointed. "Is you seeing them?" He pointed at a dark haired wizard with a pale complexion and a witch that was conversing with him.
(ooc: Nathaniel Greenwood and Angelina Gilmore) "You is doing something now. You is showing them powers of house elves is deserving respect!" Bailey nodded, encouraging Tubby. She shook her head: No. Bailey nodded again. "They is not even to be noticing us. " he said, glaring darkly. "They never does, unless they is wanting something. All wizards is like this."
Tubby felt emboldened by Bailey's words. He is saying truthy things. she thought. Yes. We is showing them better. Tubby snapped her fingers at the ministry workers, thinking her baddest bad thinks at them.
A thick, black thundercloud formed just above the heads of the ministry workers. A huge rumble of thunder echoed through the atrium chamber and a deluge began to pour down into the atrium, spilling down upon the workers.
Tubby and Bailey scurried into an alcove, giggling wildly as they watched her indoor thunderstorm pour down upon the slippery atrium floor. "I is doing it! I is thinking my baddest bad thinks, and making mischief on them!" Tubby giggled before she realized the truth of what she did. She gasped, her brown eyes wide. "BAD TUBBY! BAD! BAD!" She turned to the marble pillar that they were hiding behind and began hitting her head repeatedly against it. "Nooooooes, Tubby! You is stopping that!" Bailey cried, pulling her away. "You is doing very good thing and they is not your masters, anyway! We is helping elfs!"
Begrudgingly, she stopped. Oooh, my head is hurty... she thought.
Just then, a pop! pop! sound was heard behind them, and they turned to see a fat, cute female House elf with big blue eyes and a scrawny male elf apparate behind them. "Friends!" Bailey declared happily. "You is coming to help us!"

| Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science! Nathan winced slightly as something hit him sharply on the head. He looked at the floor to see a purple memo lying there still, not even attempting to get to its destination. ‘Odd’ he thought. He looked up to see the rest following suit and taking sudden nosedives towards the floor. ‘What the…? Why couldn’t Nathan just have a nice normal day in this god forsaken place!?
It was then that he noticed the red writing on the wall had been joined by a new message, scrawled in green. Oh for Merlin’s sake! Nathan was supposed to be an officer of the Law… all this was going on right underneath his nose and he hadn’t even noticed! And then, to make matters even better, it started to rain… or pour for that matter, tropical storm style! ‘Gah! Not the hair!’
He looked around to see if he could see a cause for this, but it was hard to see with all that rain. He took Angelina by the hand and pulled her towards shelter. “You ok, love?” he asked her still looking around for the naughty little elf who was causing all this chaos. Last thing Nathan needed today was to tackle an elf riot single handedly.

| SnitchStealer <3 Chocolate Rain=Mmm! Everything happened so quickly that Angelina didn't even have time to say a Word.
It on minute she was about to answer Nathan’s question and then she heard someone saying something, and by the time she had turned her eyes to see who was talking it just started to rain.
Rain?
It seemed to be much more than that to Angelina.
She knew that she was pretty slow reacting but that happened way to fast.
The young woman looked around while she passed her both hands by her face to separate her wet hair from her face.
Thank Merlin she had cut it.
She was about to start walking in what seemed to be the most correct direction to her, when she felt someone grabbing her hand and pulling her to somewhere.
Her first reaction was to push whoever the person was away but only after doing it she noticed, by the voice, that it was Nathan. “ I’m so sorry about the push..” she apologized. She didn’t even know if she hurt him or not.
Probably not.. but she didn't actually know.
It seemed that she didn't knew anything anymore. Oh yes, I’m great..” she answered trying to keep the sarcasm away while she passed the sleeves of her wet blouse on her face and then turned to Nathan with a half-joking smile and with both eyebrows raised. “So.. I thought that the Officers of the law used to notice things before they happen.” she said. “But I think my theory is being washed away.”
Was that some kind of joke?
Did she just make a joke?

| Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science! Nathan felt himself being shoved as he attempted to drag Angelina off to somewhere safe… or dry for that matter. “Ouch, man woman!” he said as he stumbled a little. “I’m was only trying to help.” He said as they came to a halt in an alcove.
He ignored her sarcastic reply to his enquiry as to her well-being. Perhaps next time he would just leave her standing in the middle of it all.
He gave her a look as she made that… joke? It wasn’t a particularly funny joke, but still. “ha ha.” He said sarcastically. “I was too distracted by you to notice anything at all going on around here.” Ha bloody ha indeed. “It’s the damn elves. I know it is.” He said, peering out, trying to see what was going on. “They’re really not going about this in the right way.” Egypt was right, this sort of behaviour was going to cause more harm than good in the long run. “Peaceful protest would be a lot more effective.” Yeah… course it wouldn’t.

| Snape is my man! ♥Melita's Sweetheart♥ The small toddler raced towards the fountain where the two...leprechauns...were hiding and jumped slightly as two other creatures appeared by them with a pop! Annabelle squealed loudly. Now they obviously they were magical leprechauns, of course. Not that there was any doubt in her mind before. Her short little arms outstretched, she practically launched herself toward one of the leprechauns (Bailey), squealing, "C'mere, leprechaun! You are going to be mine, and I will feed you, and keep you in my closet, and take you on walks and call you..." she paused, contemplating the utterly serious situation. Any regular name wouldn't fit, it had to be the right one! "And call you...Princess," she finished happily, attempting to wrap her arms around the poor little creature. "An remember, you're gonna hafta share your pot of gold with me..." She had to make sure it didn't forget that, right? Right?
Emmett followed a few yards after his sister, panting. There was no way he'd make it in time; knowing Annabelle, she was going to do something stupid that would get the security guards' attention. Which would get them kicked out. Just like she had managed to do when he went to that convention last summer, where he was finally about to meet the main creator of his favourite fandom... stupid little kids. Of course, as he was reflecting upon these memories, it was too late; Annabelle had acted. Letting go of his sister's arm, he got down on one knee and looked toward Gollum, bowing his head in the nerdiest respect. "O, noble Gollum! Sincere apologies for my little sister's actions! Please, I beg of you; prove to my other sister that you are real, not a CGI fictional character created by the amazing and wonderful JRR Tolkien!" he said loudly and dramatically to the creature.
Josefine, watching her siblings, hung her head in a mix of shame and embarrassment. Why did they have to be like this? Why couldn't they just accept the truth? Her little sister had followed in her brother's footsteps, believing in creatures that didn't exist. "You two stop bothering those poor costumed children this instant! You are going to get us thrown out! Which I wouldn't mind, but...! They're not even real, for God's sake!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up in the air exasperatedly. Just then, thunder roared from the unnoticed clouds that were above their heads and rain began to pour down upon the children. This did nothing to lighten Josefine's mood.
However, Emmett just took it as another reason to worship the creature that resembled Gollum. "O powerful Gollum! I ask you, what strange powers from the center of the Earth do you posess to make this wonder so?" he asked in a powerful, hopefully important-sounding voice. He cast his eyes toward Josefine for a moment, who was trying to use her purse as an umbrella but only managing to spill the contents of said purse. "I bet you that your trusty CGI couldn't have done this," he snickered, despite getting completely soaked.

Egypt was going down to the park to get some fresh air, but when she stepped off the lifts the entire Atrium was under siege. Thunder was clapping and the rain was pouring. "What on earth?" She spotted Nathan on the other side of the fountain she pulled off her heels and ran toward him.
Her foot caught a puddle and she practically surfed over right into Nathan's arms. "What is going on?" She asked him soaking wet.

Tubby and Bailey snickered together as they watched the wizards deal with the sudden deluge. Oh, Bailey is loving their mischiefs they do! Bailey thought to himself. He turned to Bailey and grinned.
Tubby covered her mouth, feeling a bit guilty as she boasted to the other two elves that joined them. "The rainsies is my magics. They is being soakered!" She giggled as their friends watched, a mixture of shock and amusement on their faces. Is this being really happening? the cute, fat elf wondered, watching in awe. Our rebellions is really real? He clapped his hands once and stopped the rain. What they is really needing is to make the wet and shiny floor less slippy for them. He clapped again and the cloud now began to rain down dirt. There. Dirty floors is less slippy. He felt satisfied that he had helped them while not undermining his friends' efforts. He smiled as he watched the clumps of rich soil pelt the interior of the atrium, turning into a gooey, muddy mess. "We go now. Down one level, we can be most happy helping our friendses." He nodded at Wiley and gestured for the children to come with him, taking the boy's hands. Wiley nodded in agreement, taking the hands of the two girls, and in unison they disapparated down to the next level of the ministry to find more rebels.
ooc: Down to level seven! Let the rebellion continue!

Now, it was raining down dirt! She looked out and saw some house elves grabbing the hands of some children. Egypt drew her wand to stun one of them. Her wand hand trembled, she couldn't send a stunner that close to innocent children. The force of the spell might hurt one of them. She was going to hit them with a sticking charm when they disappeared with the children. "Drat!" She shouted she looked around for some help, where was everyone. She pointed he wand toward the ceiling and sent her patrounus to the MLES office for some help.

Lola carefully walked through the muddy mess on the normally pristine floor in her heels. She put her hood up to prevent the falling dirt from getting in her hair. She shuffled over to a witch by the fountain who just sent off a Patronus. "What is going on?!" she yelled, brushing dust off of her maroon robes. All she wanted was a relaxing break, and now she had chaos.

She looked over at the witch who was talking to her, Egypt was too busy pulling globs of mud out of her hair. "I have no idea what is going on." she wiped some mud out of her eyes and blinked real hard. "Two house elves just disappeared with two children, a boy and a girl. And two more are running around somewhere." She told her

"But oh, mighty and all-powerful Gollum! All rights are yours, with your all-mighty powers!" Emmett called, his hands in the air in a defenseless sort of manner. Damn, his one chance to meet Gollum-- the Gollum--and Annabelle goes and ruins it. "I shall help you on your quest, O Short One! Anything!" The nerd sounded truly pitiful; but who could blame him?
Josefine narrowed her eyes at the nerds. They were completely spoiling their vacation; they had only wanted shelter from the rain, for God's sake, and now they were amid a whole rebellious brigade of costumed freaks? It was most likely some... live action role play or whatever Emmett called them. They were playing pretend. Yes. Josefine just knew it. Quote:

We is going to next floor; you can be bringing them with you there." He took Tubby's hand and disapparated them out of the atrium, leaving the children to Wiley and Prissy's command. "Noooooo!" Emmett was devastated; his idol, Gollum, had left him in the dust, fandom and all. How...
... Gollum of him.
This proved his point; the creature had a bad attitude, just like the Canon Gollum. God, he was brilliant. Beaming for a moment at his newfound fact that his hypothesis was, in fact, true, he watched the little creatures. There were more of them. "Oh, fellow friends of Gollum! I wish to join you on your epic quest!"
Annabelle stared. "No! You get back here, Princess!" she shrieked at the empty space where the leprechaun had been standing. What a terrible pet. Training doggie biscuits certainly were a must. Thank goodness. Now some of the nerds are gone, mayhaps we can get back to our vacation? Mother and father want us back by sundown, after all... Josefine thought anxiously, her amber eyes darting around like a cornered animals'. "Let's go..." she said cautiously to Emmett, who was still kneeling on the floor, eyeing the costumed children. Of course, it was much too late to go. Quote:

He clapped his hands once and stopped the rain. What they is really needing is to make the wet and shiny floor less slippy for them. He clapped again and the cloud now began to rain down dirt. There. Dirty floors is less slippy. He felt satisfied that he had helped them while not undermining his friends' efforts. He smiled as he watched the clumps of rich soil pelt the interior of the atrium, turning into a gooey, muddy mess. "Whaaa...wait, coming where?" The teenage Muggle asked, confused and supposing to just go along with it for now; it was easier. As she spoke, the dirt began raining down. She gaped, speechless. Soon her entire body was covered in mud. Her eyes were reduced to slits, glaring daggers at the little costumed jerk. Who would set up a special effect at a convention that rained down dirt, of all things? What a waste of time.
Emmett looked up at the dirt falling increduously, dirt sprinkling onto his stereotypical 'nerd' glasses. "Amazing! Just absolutely amazing! Are you seeing this, Josefine? Take pictures! With your phone! We must have proof!" he exclaimed happily. However, his sister just glared daggers at him. He realized too late her phone had fallen out of her purse and into the water. The nerd shrunk back a bit under her forbidding gaze.
The dirt did nothing for Annabelle's sour mood; she had lost her leprechaun, and now THIS? What did those tricky leprechauns think they were doing? She looked down at her perfect little dress, which, to her horror, was not so perfect anymore -- it has been soaked through and now, was covered in dirt. She gaped. What terrible leprechauns! They were supposed to give her gold! Quote:

ooc: Down to level seven! Let the rebellion continue! Without further ado, they all were forced to travel to the next level.

"Let me see," She said looking up at the ceiling, she pointed her wand up "Finite Incantartum!" She shouted and the rain and the mud stopped.
She looked around at all the mud and the water. It was a bit too much for one person to be cleaning up by herself. She would leave to the maintenance wizards to sort out.

"OK, I understand the elves moving about, but what about the children? If they're elves, they're working under direct orders from a witch or wizard, correct?" she asked, brushing dirt off of her robes.

"No they were human children. I think the children just may have been visiting the Ministry or a family member."

Lola leaned closer to the fountain, seeing the graffiti. She must have walked past this fountain hundreds of times, how could she not have noticed this. "But why? I mean, issues with the Ministry is one thing, but why are there house elves with children? I just don't get it, though I'm very much out of the loop," she said.
She took a few steps, surveying the mess. "I feel sorry for the people who have to clean this up," she sighed. She turned back to the witch, realizing she hadn't introduced herself. "I'm Lola Adams, by the way. I'm with the The Office for Magical Equipment Control on Level Two." |

He brushed his sopping hair out of his eyes. “It’s the damn elves.” He explained to Egypt and Lola. “This rebellion has gone too far.” He was pleased for their arrival – he could do with some more support – Angelina really wasn’t helping matters with her sarcastic comments and blatant scariness. He didn’t particularly want to have to start explaining the plot of Lord of the Rings to a group of confused witches. “How the hell did they get in here? It’s a serious security breach.” Was there even ANY security in this place. He couldn’t remember EVER seeing security patrolling the place. He shook his head - easy going Nathan was officially in a bad mood.

He shook his head - easy going Nathan was officially in a bad mood. Lola turned around to see another man by the fountain. With all that had been going on, she wasn't surprised he went unnoticed. She pulled out a white handkerchief and wiped her hands, filthy from the dirt. It didn't help much, and when she shook hands with Nathan, they became wet and her hands were left muddy. "I'm Lola Adams," she said, wishing she hadn't just dirtied up her handkerchief.
Lola listened to Nathan's commentary on the current situation. She leaned over the fountain, now spouting murky brown water, and read some of the graffiti. She saw several gramatically incorrect messages about freeing House Elves. "Wait, House-elves are doing this? House-elves?
she asked shocked. She couldn't understand. She didn't think that elves even wanted freedom. "So this was caused by a few freed elves with a few screws loose in the head," she added. Her best friend growing up had a House-elf, and the little thing was so pleasant and eager to serve, she couldn't imagine any sort of rebellious movement.
She thought about cleaning off her new high heels, but upon looking at the surrounding surface, also covered in mud, she realized it was futile, and returned her attention to Nathan. Lola became more and more horrified with the events. First a House-elf rebellion, then... Kidnapping muggle children?! Are they mad? I... What... We have to find them. Why... she was at a loss for words. She believed it was understood not to involve muggles in the magical world, after all, there were entire offices devoted to maintaining the secrecy. She knew there were a few bad eggs who toyed with the non-magical, but kidnapping muggle children was something completely different. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped, she couldn't help but looked shocked.
She frantically looked around, but alas, there were no elves and children around. We have to find the kids! How could this even happen? How could they get in here? Lola ask, echoing the same question Nathan asked. Details about Ministry security could be dealt with later, the imminent issue at hand with muggles running around the Ministry required all the focus now.

"Shame about the circumstances." He claimed back his hand, which was now covered in dirt, thanks to Lola, as well as being wet. He wiped it on the back of his jeans, leaving a nice muddy hand print behind. He smirked at Lola. “Sorry about that, love.” He said looking at her now mudified hand and dirty handkerchief.
He shook his head, “I’m afraid so.” he nodded at the top of the fountain to where the space was where the wizards head should have been. “They’re also responsible for that handy work." He looked down into the filthy water to see the head was still there. Maintenance were almost as bad as security in this place… non existent. Everything seemed to be left up to the Law Department, at least that was Nathan’s current grumpy view on the situation.
He nodded when Lola said they needed to find the elves and the kids. They would have to search the entire ministry if that’s what it took. He pulled out his wand, not particularly wanting to have to use it. Elf magic was a completely different kettle of fish to wizard magic. Nathan really didn’t know what he would be dealing with here. “We need to get message to Level two.” He said. Back up would be very welcome. Quote:

Nathan scratched his head uncomfortably at the sudden tension in the air. He subconsciously backed away a couple of steps from the two women. Best just to stay out of the way. He looked over at Angelina, hoping for a distraction… she had gone strangely quiet.

He agreed with Egypt. It wasn’t necessarily that the culprits were mental – they’d obviously been pushed to the very edge. “Human’s have done far worse for their rights.” He replied. “But they’ve gone too far taking those kids.” Yeah, removing the wizard’s head was amusing to the more immature member’s of the ministry, but things were getting out of hand.
He looked over at Egypt. “Lady Riddle, you are a genius.” He exclaimed. “Magical creatures department? They're responsible for elf rights.” he raised an eyebrow. "What level are they on?" Lola, having just come down off the lift, just heard the various departments and levels. "Magical Creatures are on Level Four." Lola wished she could be more helpful. She stood back and surveyed the damage. She couldn't believe this was happening. Lola scratched her head and began to pace. She felt so helpless, just standing by this fountain. "Have you sent notices to all the departments, maybe they could be on the lookout... But then again, if the elves are making such a mess, people have to notice anyhow." |

Nathan scratched his head uncomfortably at the sudden tension in the air. He subconsciously backed away a couple of steps from the two women. Best just to stay out of the way. He looked over at Angelina, hoping for a distraction… she had gone strangely quiet. She looked at Nathan, she didn't mean to upset him. "I'm sorry Nathan." She gave him a smile. She shook all of the mud out of her hair. Her blue sundress was soaking wet as well, but it wasn't as oppressive as her wet robes had been. "Ok we should split up and search all the levels." She announced since they weren't going to get any help anytime soon. Quote:

"Never mind the politics, where did these elves go and where did they get the children from?" Lola ringed her dusty hands with anxiety. "Those kids must be so confused", she worried. "And these elves could be almost everywhere, because once in the Ministry, there are very few places one can't go. They really ought to tighten security..." Lola noted. Egypt pulled herself up to her full height, which wasn't much seeing as how she was barely 5 feet tall. Boy did she need to work that stretching charm. She rarely got upset but she was really mad right now. This witch was yelling at her. She glared daggers at the witch, but she bite back a retort. It wasn't about her righteous anger right now. They needed to find the children and get this thing under wraps. Quote:

"I sent a patronous to level two." Egypt looked around and no one was coming to help she wasn't sure what else she could do at this point.
