Alena smiled, and looked to the voice who was speaking to her, shifting her box of supplies, she stuck out her free hand. "Pleasure to meet you Alina, Alena Parkingston." she replied, she nodded, "Thank you, I'm looking forward to working with you all."

The line and the rutcuss was too much. Herod returned to his desk, put a STRONG Sound Barriar Spell around his desk and got back to work. He loved this invention. It was a pair of fairy wings that one cold put on their back and the wings would bind to the person and he or she could fly. Herod would have to check all the magic and do some research, but felt that overall it would be great.

He then finished his stack and went to the break room to get coffee and some peace and quiet.

Suzanna's head snapped up at the loud noises and she looked up from her work. She flinched as she heard another BANG. It sounded like the Ministry was crashing down. But of course that couldn't be true. She put her paper aside and saw some new employees.

"Hi," she said, smiling at them. "I'm Suzanna Ming," she introduced, and immediately jumped up at a loud SCREECH.

"Hello" Herod said kindly. "Welcome to the Ludacris patents office. You'll love it here." he said. He went back to work. Hmmmmmmm........ Bug eye glasses. You could see all around and zoom 200x. Sweet!

Selena walked into her new job. She didn't know where to sit so she just stood by thr door. BANG!!! What a nice welcoming, a bunch of construction noises.

Wow, herod couldn't tell weather the BANGS or the inpouring of new employees was happening more often. They were coming like there was a strange man was standing outside dressed as a hot dog handing out free coupons. (OCC:or like the 6th movie was coming out at midnight!!!) "Hello, welcome to the Ludarcis patents office. How are you. If you would please check in with the Department Head." He then pointed to the office door and went back to his work. He had already stamped his APPROVED stamp on the "Bug Eye Glasses". He was now filling out a form for the experimental charms deparment. Hw eould deliver the glasses down their to make sure they were safe, then send it to the owner. He got up, gave the new employee a nod of his head, and went to the elevator.

Bonnie returned to her desk and suddenly BANG!"Wow what's going on here?"she asked..

Selena sat down at her new desk put her supplies away and started working... then BANG BANG BANG!!! Great she thought more construction noises.

Herod employed his ever useful Silencing Charm to make a sound proof bubble around his desk and got to work. His piles were being completed at an ever increasing rate. Today was a good day dor inventors. He had already approved seven very useful inventions ranging from a color changing skirts to Christmas orniments that sing carols. He made mental note to go buy some more stamp ink next time he was in Diagon Ally.

Returning to the Division, Alina tried her best to ignore the amount of banging going on, and tried to think of the shiny new space they'd have to work in. Spying the boxes to one side, she raised her voice.

"Sorry for the inconvenience of the noise," she said, surveying her employees. There were a few new faces, she noted. "Basically the whole of Level Seven is having a face lift, and this work has to be done for that. Our division is having work done too...so I need you all to help clear off your desks and put all our files and models into boxes." She gestured to where the boxes were laid flat on the floor. "The majority of work is being done tonight, so I suggest we get moving so nothing gets damaged or lost...any questions?"

"You too, Alena," the Division Head replied. "I really hope you enjoy it here. We try to have a good atmosphere in this area," she smiled, "when there's not building works on, of course." With that she gave a slight roll of her eyes. "You okay with your stuff? It's been a bit of an usual day to start work, with all this construction business..."
And then Alina went to greet another new employee. "Hi there," she said smiling, though this flickere into a frown at another BANG!. "I'm Alina Newtington, your Division Head. Welcome to Patents." She gestured round the room. "Well, soon to be re-developed Patents...might look a bit different in the morning!" she laughed. "Who might you be?"

"Hello," said Selena and she smiled.
"I'm Selena M. Meller and I am new to the Ministry."

Alena nodded her head, she could work with noise. Besides Alina said it was merely temporary, she could deal. Right? Alena looked in her hands, her stuff was already in a box and her desk empty, looks like she picked a good day to start work. Setting her box down she picked up and empty one to carefully start packing up the models carefully.

Alena smiled and nodded, "I think I will enjoy working here. Thank you." she laughed slightly and nodded, "Don't worry about it. You said construction will be done eventually. For now we just have to deal with the noise, but just imagine how awesome our office will look!" Alena was an optimist, and right now, the head looked frazzled. She nodded her head, "Completely fine. I'll just get to work packing for you." she smiled and set to work.

Herod was only mildly surprised at the relocation. He waved his wand and the clutter and stacks disappeared. He walked out, trying to find a new place to work. Hopefully it would be slightly more quiet.
