"A muggle movie? Now that is clever. But the truth is there was an earthquake." Jake winked, not wanting to blow the story he had just made up for the muggles he was working on. "It ummmm...must have disrupted the movie set here. A shame really as the movie was really taking off." Jake joked. As he subtly raised his wand and touched the trumpet, quietly muttering, "evanesco." "That should do it now. So how are you feeling?" He asked the muggles around him. "Besides being a little shaken up, is everyone ok?"

"Kallisto dear," would you be so kind as to get one of our special officers," Jake began to ask hoping she'd realize he was talking about fetching an obliviator, "so they can take a look at our guests here and make sure they're ok."

"Where are the obliviators I can`t do it I would make it look so bad I`m justr fixing the place up then you can obliviate if you want" said Dan and he continued repairing things until all that was left was the muggles "I`m so sorry that you have had to go through all this just see my team mates and you`ll be ready to go" he said to the muggles "Who`s going to obliviate?"

"Pffft" Katya scoffed as she walked back from the toilet (so she'd needed a little break, nature was calling!!!) to find ministry officials from the other departments trying to modify memories, "Amateurs..."

She pasted on a bright smile and bounced over to the group of muggles, her wand firmly in hand under her coat, "Ohmigod!" Zap, she obliviated a muggle, "Did you guys see how that totally hot stunt double jumped off the second floor balcony?!"

And Bam! Another muggle obliviated with the totally easy non-verbal spell.

Okay, so she'd admit that the muggle filming story was a good cover, "And the effects! Woah the effects! I had no idea they did it that way, who woulda thunk it, eh?"

Throwing in some American slang she'd picked up from watching those moving picture boxes felt like a good idea.

'Well if you`ve seen my freind Katya here you can be leaving' said Dan whisking them off 'Well Jake i`m heading back to the mistry I want to know whats going on with the madeline case see you later' said Dan and he stepped behind a telephone and apparted to the ministry

Miranda followed the nice young lady over to her boss. "Yes the boss, take me to the boss." She said. When she arrived to the boss Miranda tapped her foot angrily. "You are the boss... Mister, this is very unprofessional."

"Relax Dan! This hasn't been an easy mission for anyone. I'm sure they're here somewhere. There is a lot to be done and they're not the only ones who have a job to do. They might already be with some of the muggles we haven't gotten to yet. So please don't go obliviating people. One mistake and that's tons of paperwork I have to do, and I really hate paperwork! So hold your wand!" Jake warned.

"Ahhh! See Dan, here they come!" Jake said as he watched an obliviator slyly come in and begin to obliviate some memories.

"A bit too easy, isn't it?" Jake laughed as he watched the obliviator in action.

"Dan!!" Jake yelled out, "You're not going anywhere when there's a clean up to do!" But too late, he had left. "That boy will pay!" Jake mumbled angrily. "He thinks hanging around the office in between missions is boring now..." Jake said gritting is teeth. "Just wait unitl I get back and he finds himself sitting for the next few missions, that will teach him to up and leave a mission and abandon your teammates."

"Ahhh yes. I'm very sorry. You are absolutely right, it is very unprofessional of this to happen. I'm afraid I don't have any excuses for you today. I just let things get out of hand, and I'm very sorry Ma'am. If you'd like to file a complaint about my umm. . . performance today, let me take you to my coworker here and he'd be happy to help you. " Jake said, adding a sigh of disappointment for effect as he led her to an obliviator.

The muggles whose memories she had just modified were looking very much like Ocean whenever she went to visit his flat... she giggled as the thought struck her, but quickly covered it up when Jake Reilly came over.

"Oh dear, what's he done now?" she asked the disgruntled looking woman, ready to zap her at any moment. She decided to enjoy this for a while... make Jake sweat a bit under the collar...

Jake gave the Obliviator a playful glaring look. "Sure encourage the crazy muggle woman as she rants on about what a mess things are," Jake muttered.

He decided to play along, "Well, as this nice woman has pointed out, and rightfully so, I seem to have let things get a bit out of control today. Very unprofessional of me...very unprofessional." Jake said shaking his head. "I have sincerly apologized and have assured this lovely lady that I would excuse myself from the job and have a more experienced coworker help her, as I seemed to have failed miserably today." Jake continued trying to keep a straight face - he was actually enjoying this.

"Finally! Incompetence. Of course I want to make a complaint. I can't even enjoy a peaceful day of shopping without hooligans running all over the place. You are Lucky I didn't put myself in cardiac distress with all this commotion. " She babbled on, looking up at the so called co-worker. "This is unacceptable, unprofessional and just down right wrong. I am an old lady, too old for this." Miranda said angrily.

Ivan reappeared at the edge of the scene, having done his duty by his boss. He walked up and said to the general area, "Everything under control? Everybody happy with a new memory? Peace and order restored?"

Ah, yes, it was good to be the boss. Except for those uncomfortably long meetings and reports. Lots of reports...no, no, it was still good to be the boss, in spite of the reports.

He peered around the room. Were any muggles looking too aware for their own good? A true obliviation should leave them practically drooling with their own temporary confusion.

Dan appered again and looked at Jake "I see were not to happy no are we. I did my part now it was the obliviators turn wasn`t it"

The Reversal Squad looked to be done, judging by their comments. If he'd had a hat, Ivan would've tipped it amiably as he passed by them.

A quick sweep of the area proved the muggles were all operating at full delusional capacity. Something about a "movie" and "co-workers" - whatever that meant. Either way, it looked like his team had come through.

"Alright people," Ivan clapped his hands to catch the attention of his team. He jerked his head towards the mall exit. "Meet me back at OH. Reports by end of day." Ivan dusted off his hands and walked away.

"While we rescued everyone and may I say we did a fantastic job at that," Jake nodded, "Do we ever leave a scene without taking care of the magical mess that was left behind. I know these muggles now believe a variety of things happened here, but we could at least fix the things that were destroyed in the chaos of this mission, things like the busted manequins, broken instruments, and torn dresses. Trust me, they'll still be plenty of clean up for the muggles to clean up even with us taking care of these things." Jake said as he looked around to see clothes scattered around the floors, manequins that were still in one piece lying everywhere, instruments strewn about that seemed to be in decent condition.

"Oh and speaking of muggles, has anyone checked them to make sure that they are all still in one piece? I know their memories have been modified, but are there any physical injuries we need to take care of before we leave, as well. These are all things we need to think about before we apparate back to the ministry. We're professionals, it shouldn't take long for us to do Dan."

"Ok ok don`t start one of your legendry speaches again" said Dan and he started to clean up

"Hey watch it Dan, I'm still you're boss you know. I can bore you all I want," Jake laughed.

"So shall we begin to clean up this mess?" Jake asked as he headed over to the musical intruments that were in pieces all over the floor. "Reparo" Jake said as she flashed his wand and watched as the pieces magically repaired themselves. "Ahhh if only Muggles knew the job of magic," he joked as he continued to repair the damage the dress had made throughout the store.

"No if they knew our department would be needed much less" said Dan "How come i`m the only one left on clean up duty" and he started putting the clothes in there origenal places"

"You know Dan, that's a really good question, I say when we're done here . . . a really good hex is due on a few of our coworkers. Let them figure out who to reverse that," Jake said with a devilish girn. "You in on it?" He chuckled as some crazy ideas ran through his head."

As Jake thought of a plan, he continued doing a final sweep of the store cleaning and repairing the mess left behind by the crazy dress.

With a final wave of his wand, the last broken piece - a broken hinge on the dressing room door flew up and straightened itself properly back into place. Jake guided his wand to hang the door back up again and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Done! What do you say we get out of here then, Dan? After you..." he said as he readied himself to apparate back to the department.

"Yes I`ll meet you in the department later I`m feeling a bit peekish" said Dan and he apparted to the cafeteria.

Doing a once over of the area, Jake was pleased to see that the clean up had gone fairly smoothly. Of course he left a bit of a trail behind to go with the stories the obliviators had given, but the major damage was now repaired.

With a loud, Jake disappeared, following Dan back to the ministry.
