Chris grinned as the girl shook his hand look hesitatingly."Yeah I'm Chris."Chris chuckled after the girl repeteadly says his name."So did I'mm?--?"Chris asked wanted the girl to finished her statement..but the girl rescently left.So he didn't bother the girl and just walk on the other direction. Why the girl acts so odd? |
Margot walked back to Chris and slipped into his palms, a parchment with numbers. They looked like phone numbers. She didn't look up into his eyes. She kept her head low and walked away for good this time, into her office. While walking, she kept repeating that little spill incident in her head. Where is he from?Who is he really? What does he want? What do I think...?Think of what, Margot? What were you thinking, giving your number to him like that?He could be a stalker for all you know. She thought in her head. |
Chris gasped as the girl he just met gave him something. It was a little parchment,he opened it,It looks like that its a phone number, maybe it was the girl's contact number. He turned back making his way out of the corridor. He has a sense that he will visit the place often. It was so add,I've never been like this. What was happening to me.Why does she gaves me his phone number?.He has so many questions can't answer all by himself. |
The door that led to the Department of Magical Accidents and Catasrophes swung open, allowing Mrs. Bella Greingoth, Department Head of Magical Transportation, to enter. She click-clacked through the department, stopping only to smile and wave to a few employees here and there. A watercooler just up ahead caught her attention, though, and she stopped to admire how convenient it seemed to be. Hmm...maybe she should arrange for one of these to be installed into her department, as well. "BENJAMIN COBBLESTEN!" she called out, her voice echoing off the walls surrounding her. What...? The man was practically family. No need for formalities around here. As she waited for her near-relative to appear, Bella raised her right hand eye-level and studied her fingernails in great detail. That french manicure she'd done sure did look mighty nice, if she did say so herself. Yup. She was stylin'. |
Ben had been in his office "What in the name of Merlin's beard is--Oh, hello Bella!" he said, his angry mood vanishing instantly when he saw that it was Bella Greingoth, future mother-in-law to his nephew, Cale Newell. "What brings you to our level this fine spring morning?" he asked, walking over to the watercooler and getting himself a quick drink of water. |
Anna and Lissy. Where was that watercooler, again? Abigail wandered down the corridor trying to find that watercooler that she had visited not long ago. The last time she had visited this place she given her only pair of heels to Darla. She actually missed those shoes, but she had given to Darla to make her be quiet. That lady could just not shut her mouth when it came to insults. She rolled her eyes as she thought about it. Her and Lima weren't that small. Well, they were, but that was no excuse to make fun of them. She finally spotted the watercooler and let out a sigh of relief. She was starting to thing that she had passed it or something. Heading over to it, she saw Ben and this woman she didn't know talking to each other. "Oh, hello Mr. Ben," she greeted him. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything." She turned towards the woman and gave her a little smile. |
OHYAY! Introductions! "Ahh, Abby!" Ben said with a grin, bounding over to his teeny tiny division head and taking her arm. "Come on, we honestly only just bumped into each other--this is Bella Greingoth, she's the Department Head on Level 6." he explained. Erm, what did they do again? OHYEAH. "She works with portkeys and apparation and the like," he added. "Bella, this is Abigail Weather, my newest Division Head," he explained. Well, someone's little power nap had DEFINITELY given him a pick me up. That was for certain. |
Bella stood, leaned up against the wall with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face, waiting on Ben to appear. He was a funny guy, that was for sure. She enjoyed playing the whole 'But, I'm family" card with him, especially in moments like this, where she was literally yelling to the point where her voice was schoing off the walls of his department. "Do I need a reason to come and visit you, Benjamin? Surely I'm welcome here," she said, shooting him a joking smile. "Truthfully, I just decided to stroll away from my little area for a while just to be nosey and check on how you ran things." Yup, this was the playful banter she'd adopted with Ben. A few moments later, one of his employees strolled their way and greeted who she referred to as 'Mr. Ben'. Bella felt like getting a good laugh out of that one, but she didn't want to seriously offend poor Ben...or his employee for that matter. Even still, the name 'Mr. Ben' sounded a little funny, especially to someone who was used to yelling out 'Benjamin' in silly, joking manners. "Good day, Abby. It's a pleasure to meet you. As Ben said, I'm Bella Greingoth, the department head on level sixe," she greeted. "I do indeed work with apparition, the floo network, broom regulatory, and portkeys." |
Someone was excited. Abigail smiled at Ben and when he took her arm, she walked closer to him and the woman. It was a good thing that she wasn't interrupting something. She hated it when she walked up on people and they were talking about important stuff and didn't want to be interrupted. She just stood there next to Ben, listening to him introduce the woman to her. She probably look so small compared to him. Ben was like a GIANT! No joke. And, she was only a measly 5'1. She didn't like being small, but there was no way to change her height. She was stuck like this forever. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Bella," she said with a smile. "Level Six?" Didn't Lima work in that department? She thought back at the day her and Lima first met and tried to remember if that's the department her friend worked in. She was pretty sure it was. "I think my friend works in Level Six," she stated. "Anyways, like Ben mentioned, I'm Abigail. You are more than welcome to call me Abby. I work in the Invisibility Task Force Division." Bella already knew what Department she worked in, so no need to repeat that. |

"Likewise. Any friend of Benjamin's is a friend of mine, dear," she said, removing her hands from the watercooler. "Yes, level six---the Department of Magical Transportation. What's your friend's name? I do believe I have the information in that filing cabinet pretty much memorized by now." She turned towards Ben, who'd grown pretty quiet here in the last few minutes. "So, Ben, ready for this summer's big wedding?" she asked. |
Ben chuckled. "Of course not--is anyone ever prepared for these things?" he asked with a grin. "My house has turned into a right zoo...Beth is over every day going over last minute wedding stuff with Emily, Emma is eating nothing but fruit and vegetables out of fear that she won't fit in her bridesmaids dress, and that foul little girl, Whatever-her-name-is-zra comes over occassionally to gripe and moan about everything." he added with a frown. No, he did NOT like that girl at all. "How are things at your house?" he asked, before turning back to Abby to give her a quick explanation of what had just happened. "My nephew and Bella's daughter are going to be married soon," he said with a wink. |

Just by the watercooler she spotted the man she needed to see,the man in charge who could tell her exactly what he wanted doing.Brian had told her there had been an explosion, but he didn't know how much damage there was.Walking up to him,Olivia cleared her throat. "Uh excuse me,Mr Cobbleston? I'm Olivia Hawthorne from the Maintenance department.Brian sent me up,he said something about an explosion that needed clearing?" |
Melanie walked into the corridor, coming from the elevator, she needed a glass of water before going to work. All that romance with Craig in the morning... She walked quickly, her dress undulated on her sides, and her boots made quiet noises. She stopped by the Watercooler and served herself of a glass of water. As she sipped her drink she heard someone talk about exploding flowerpots. Quote:
"Oh you're from the Maintenance Department?" she asked talking a few steps in the direction of the girl |

Should she ask this woman as well,as she clearly was expecting her too,or wait until the Head had told her? She just stood for a moment, looking at both of them, smiling and waiting for one of them to speak, either of them would do.She couldn't very well get started without knowing WHAT it was that was damaged. |

Imma off to bed now, pick up in charms office tomorrow? :) Quote:
Glancing sideways as they got to the door Olivia creased her eyebrows in confusion, and looked round at the other woman. "So...what exactly happened?" she asked, somewhat perplexed. |
sure, I'll post our arrival there! see ya tomorrow! Quote:
When they got the the door Mel sighed a little "I wasn't here, but I've been filled in in some of the details. Apparently Mr. Ben walked in with a package of flowers to be evaluated by us, they were some type of experimental plants, and the thing exploded" she opened her hands and made a sort of explosion movement " sending all the workers at the time backwards, setting the hole thing on fire, desks, stacks of paper, bookshelves..." she shook her head "It's still not certain if it was meant to be, the exploding part, it could just be an experience gone bad" she looked at the door frame and smiled at Olivia to encourage her. |
Bella's going to file out, since the flower pot RP has started. ^_^ Flower pot explosion? Hmm... Bella eyed Benjamin, curious as to what in Merlin's name he'd managed to get his department into. Of course none of it was his fault, but Bella liked to tease him, nonetheless. The watercooler area was beginning to get quiet busy now, though, so Bella took that as a sign she should head on back to her own stomping grounds. "You seem to be quite the busy one," she said to Ben. "I'll leave you be for now. I'll drop it some other time." With a little wave to him and a few of the other employees standing around, Bella turned and headed out the door. |
Lego parts suddenly appeared from the lift and jumped out into the third floor corridor. How much mahem can they do in such a place. Some lego parts gathered around and formed a big lego wall and blocked the third floor only exit as the other pieces gathered to take the form of two normal sized lions. |
Ben watched as the group around him thinned, leaving himself in the building by himself. He sighed and looked down at his glass before filling it up with some more water. As he sipped his drink, he heard a noise behind him and turned, wrinkling his eyebrows and wondering what the noise could possibly be. His eyes widened when he saw a bunch of enchanted legos--how DARE someone curse such wonderful children's play things?!?--formed a wall and then turned into two giant lions. Well, this was new. "What the--?" was all he managed to get out before dropping his plastic cup of water and pulling out his wand. He was going to need assistance on this one. |
Quote:
She gasped and flatten herself against the wall, trying no to make any sudden moves but at the same time, pulling her wand out, just as Ben had done "what on Merlin's name.." |
Dora was walking behind Melanie down the corridor when she noticed her flaten herself to the wall and looked a bit shocked. Quickly she drew her wand and cautiously moved forward and saw the enchanted legos. |
The lego lions looked at both wizards before starting running towards them. They knew they couldn't bite or even scratch the wizards but at least they can create some kind of havoc around the place. The two lions jumped simultaneously each targetting one of the two wizards |
Quote:
All seemed to happen in slow motion, she could clearly see the lion jumping to her but her only reaction was to raise her hand and say "Protegeo!" wishing that would be enough to create a protective zone around herself. |
