Wyatt had arrived at Level Three. Once the gates had opened he quickly walked out of the elevator and walked down the halls opening doors to make sure that there nothing deemed dangerous in any of the rooms. Some of the rooms were offices and so on. When he entered the room he showed the people in the room his badge that he was with Ministry Security and that he was there to make sure there was nothing dangerous on this level. Once he had checked every nook and cranny he went back to the Lifts and headed down to Level Four to make sure the same was there.

BABYFAYCETM 09-04-2008 01:09 AM

Hallie was standing at the elevator lifts on level four, balancing a stack of papers that stacked up to her chest. She pushed the weight onto one side of her arms and pushed the lift button, before quickly catching the teetering stack with herother arm. She tapped her foot as the lift delayed on level three. She cursed as the papers dug into her arms.

PhoenixFlame 09-07-2008 12:20 PM

James stepped off the lift as it arrived on Level 3. He felt quite nervous as he walked along the corridor until he found the door for Experimental Charms. With a brief knock, he stepped on inside.

Lissy Longbottom 01-04-2009 12:46 AM

Ben Cobblesten appeared in the corridor, wand held behind him as he turned the corner. A few seconds later, a watercooler arrived in mid-air, following behind him as Ben used his wand to keep it aloft. Stupid new Ministry standards--why was his office being forced to install a watercooler? Maybe they should be a bit more worried about increasing security rather than making sure all the employees were hydrated. They had coffee for that, thank you very much.

He dropped the watercooler against the wall with a loud BAM, hoping for a small second that it had broken. Nope, still in tact. Sighing, he pointed at the cooler and waved his wand again, and the tub filled with water. He stood back to admire his handwork before he realized he had forgotten cups, which he easily fixed with another wave of his wand.

ooc: Go on, take a drink and feel free to hang out around the new watercooler :P

AYOCutie 01-04-2009 12:56 AM

"You've got to be kidding me," The Seventeen year old snickered from the doorway of his division. This was something he would have expected in movies, where most employees hung around, rarely talking, and just stood there sipping at their cups. Clearly, The scene before him was the actual thing.

"At least we get free water, right?" Kyler snorted.

Lissy Longbottom 01-04-2009 05:22 AM

"I suppose," Ben said with a chuckle, putting his hands on his hips and looking at the atrocious thing. "But I guess every office really should have one--even if it is just for comical purposes," he added with a small smirk. No one was ever going to put this thing to good use. Waste of tax dollars, it was.

AYOCutie 01-05-2009 07:27 PM

"It's actually.. Pretty freakin' cool!" The seventeen year old chuckled heavily, staring at the new equipement. Again, he had only seen these in movies, very funny ones at that; It hd him very amazed that there happened to be one on his level.

"Indeed," He retorted to Bossman, grinning. Kyler would be using this thing, for sure. Well, hey, it was free water.

Lissy Longbottom 01-15-2009 09:37 PM

Ben wrinkled his blond eyebrows and laughed? "Really? The only time I've ever actually seen these things were in muggle movies...oh well, I suppose it gives us an alternative to caffeinated coffee, and maybe we'll have a bit more activity around here if we have another place to--stand around," he added with a small smirk. He sighed and straightened his tie absentmindedly. He wondered when the Ministry would start suggesting that they put their extra money towards GOOD use...

AYOCutie 01-17-2009 08:28 PM

"Exactly my point," The Seventeen year old chuckled. Kyler was actually A biiig muggle fan. He knew everything about them, about. And the whole fact that his department had one of those water coolers, kepted him in good interest, and A lot of amusement.

"Oh, of course bossman," Kyler grinned. Coffee was always good for A two hour wake-up boost, but that stuff got so addicting. Reason he hardly drank coffee. Energy drinks where more so his thing. But now they had water! How lovely. At Bossman's next comment, Kyler couldn't help but chuckle. "Where's the normal hang-out?" He pressed.

Lissy Longbottom 02-19-2009 09:26 PM

Ben shrugged at Kyler as he asked for the normal hangout. "Erm, not sure really. The breakroom doesn't get much action, but I think everyone tends to head down to the cafeteria, leaving me alone up here to practice my origami," he joked with a smile before tapping on the top of the watercooler. "Well, now that this baby is all installed, I suppose I better give her the big send off," he said, taking a paper cup and taking a sip out of the cup once it was filled. Mmmm, how refreshing!

Miley wandered into the level three corridor.Okkkay.Where was that watercooler at?You know, she found it quite funny that this corridor had a watercooler.A WATER COOLER?!How cool was that? She continued down the corridor, her eyes on the alert.Come out, come out, where ever you are watercooler.

Darla was warily exploring the Ministry of Magic--she needed to know what kind of place she was working in, right? What if there were rats or humongous insects flying around? That would surely be absurd but possible and needed to be reported. Honestly she wasn't some sort of an inspector, well maybe she was but she was just inspecting for safety reasons. Rats scared her, insects too. If there was some dead body lying---Oh she would have quit the Ministry for life if she ever saw something like that.

Level 3 was a good place to start, it was a department of magical accidents and catastrophes. And no one realized that there could possibly be some sort of experiments going around. How careless these so called "wizards and witches" were. But then again, she hadn't even checked at any places yet.

Walking into the watercooler room, she went around and smudged her finger on the wall to see if there was any dust. Her nose was sensitive, very sensitive.

Miley heard footsteps coming in the corridor behind her.Oh,gosh.Maybe it was Samantha or someone for her department telling her she shouldn't be up her.But...she was just wandering around. She already finished her paper work for today.

Miley turned around to face the woman that was coming towards her.Ohhh,geez.This woman was...she looked nice.Miley put on a smile and walked over to the woman.Time to make a new friend!

"Hello there,"she said.

Lissy Longbottom 03-08-2009 04:53 AM

Ben had been minding his own business, talking to Kyler and finishing the installation of the watercooler when two random employees showed up. He wrinkled his light blond brows at them, wondering if he had ever seen them before. Hmmmm, they were new faces--perhaps they weren't his employees. And, if that was the case, he would be shocked. No one ever visited the Department unless they had tentacles growing out of their head or something.

"Erm, can I...help you two?" he asked, talking especially towards the woman who seemed to be sniffing the hallway. Interesting...surely water did have a scent, did it?

geraldinechang 03-09-2009 09:22 AM

Margot walked to the water cooler and turned the hot tap on. She tapped her toes while waiting for the water to fill her foot tall cup. She glanced around the corridor, looking for Andrina.

Aaaahhh. Hot water!!

She struggled to keep her hands steady on her gigantic cup of hot water, hoping to not burn herself. She gave up and Wingardium Leviosa-ed it instead. It wasn't as steady as her hands but at least she will not burn herself.

Margot left puddles of water behind her. She mumbled something like Spongifineo to soak up the water. She walked cautiously towards the door for Experimental Charms and swished her hair at the doorway, leaving the corridor smelling of strawberries.

Richard walked out of the obliviator's headquarters and down the corridor to the watercooler. He was already beginning to feel at home up here. He grabbed a cup and filled it with water. As he drank he paused and walked over to the walls where there some portraits and photos of past obliviators and Magic Reversal Squads and other occupations in this department. In one he saw a group of men pointing their wands at a house that had sprouted wooden legs. As Richard watched the moving portrait the house's legs vanished and the house returned to normal. In the background he could see muggles panicking. In a photo near the corner of the room was a man with brilliant white teeth, wavy golden hair and kept winking at the room. There was a tarnished plaque on the frame and Richard couldn't make out the name however much he squinted.
He continued admiring the history of the department for a little while. He had never taken time in his patrolling of the ministry to appreciate the little intracasies. He began reading a clipping from the daily prophet in a frame. The story was from the second wizarding war. Something about a giant in the westcountry.

Lima was slowly making her way down the stairs to the Auror Department. She wanted to visit her boyfriend and didn't want to take the elevators. She needed some exercise.

Starting to get thirsty, she decided to stop off and get a drink before making her way over to the next floor.

So she left the stairwell and started heading down the corridor towards the water cooler. When she reached it, she grabbed a cup and got herself some water to drink.

Sneakeh Cat 06-19-2009 01:11 AM

Whitty Whit Whitterz <3

Abigail walked down the corridor, heading in the direction back to her office. Her heels were tapping against the floor as she walked, so anyone nearby could tell she was coming up. She just LOVED wearing these heels. They always made her a few inches taller and who wouldn't want to look taller when your were really short?

She turned a corner and noticed a girl drinking some water from the watercooler. This girl looked a few years younger than her and she defiantly didn't look like she worked her. Well, that girl might work here, since this is first day working in this level and she didn't fully know who worked on this level yet. She took in a deep breath and headed towards to blonde headed girl. "Hello there," she said with a smile.

WhittyBitty 06-19-2009 01:15 AM

She was just finishing up her drink of water when suddenly she heard someone talking to her. She didn't expect that to happen. Would she get in trouble for being in this Dept? She didn't think she would be, but she wasn't sure.

She turned to look at the woman speaking to her and smiled. "Hi," she said wondering if she was going to be in trouble.

highjinx 06-19-2009 01:21 AM

It was a freaaaaking hot daaay. Darla had been hoping to spot some hot boys too to go along with the hot temperature but nope, no wizards anywhere. That sucked. And she seriously needed a place to be alone, she didn't know why but she just did OK? So maybe she was hot too and if she was asked to define that sentence, it could have worked either way. Because she did think she was bea-uuuu-tii-fulll and she really was sweaty. Ewww sweaty. She looked horrible when she sweat and that's why she needed to get coooolddd.

pffft you SERIOUSLY don't want to see her when she sweats unless you have a strong mind. And then she was on her way to the watercooler. "Hmmmhmmhmmmmm," she started humming on her way down and then she spotted ...

ZOMG SHOES. PRETTY SHOES YES. DARLA. TOTALLY. NEEDED. THEM. Her face turned into a look of desire and also jealousy. "Youuu, hunn! Now where did you get those shoes? They look simply goooorgeous!"

Sneakeh Cat 06-19-2009 01:31 AM

Whit and Dot <3

Abigail still kept that smile on her face. "Hello, dear. What brings you to this watercooler on the third floor? Do you work here?" She asked, hoping to finally get the answer to her question. Hmmm. She actually felt like getting some water right now. She walked over to the cooler and poured herself a cup of water. She looked back up at the blonde girl and waited for her answer. She drank her water as she waited.

Then, Abigail heard another voice in the corridor. Was the voice directed to her? She turned her attention to this lady that had walked up to her and the blonde girl. She glanced down at her shoes when the lady asked where she had gotten them. "You know, I don't quite remember where I gotten them. I've had them so long," she answered. "I just recently found them in the bottom of my closet. But, I'm glad you like them." She looked back up at the lady and smiled.

WhittyBitty 06-19-2009 01:40 AM

She was just about to reply to the woman when she suddenly heard someone else arrive. Why was it suddenly getting busy here when she just wanted to go?

She cast a glance at the shoes in question and saw that they were rather pretty. But not as pretty as hers.

She turned her attention back to the question at hand, choosing not to be rude. "Er, well, no. I work on Level 6. But I was heading down to Level 2 to see my boyfriend. I was taking the stairs for exercise and I got thirsty, so I stopped here to get a drink." She hoped she wasn't in trouble now.

highjinx 06-19-2009 01:49 AM

Ewww what? Old shoes? Disgusting and horrible. But they looked so new and... pretty. Darla wanted them. Darla wanted them NOW. "Seriously? For so long?" Ohh the girl was probably lying. Yeah she proTHAT'S ITTTTTTTT. This girl was just saying that just so she would lose interest in them. These shoes weren't even old, oh pfftt, they looked new. No one could fool Darla because she was well, Darla.

"Like them? I LOVE them!" And as a rich girly girl, she just HAD to buy them. And if the girl wasn't going to tell her, she'd just have to buy it off of her. "I'll buy those for 15 galleons. Deal? Please? I.. want... those shoes badly," she begged and tried to do puppy dog eyes (the result looked like a hungry hippo looking at its food).

She turned to the other girl who said... level 6? "Oooh, I must know you then. I'm Darla Lala Puff, Broom Regulatory Control."

Sneakeh Cat 06-19-2009 02:09 AM

Level 6? What level was that, again? Abigail pondered for a moment, then remembered that that level was the Magical Transporation level. Ahhh. This girl was three levels away from her own level. Why was that? Then, the girl said she was going to go see her boyfriend. That explained everything.

"So your heading down to Level 2 to see your boyfriend? Level 2 is the Auror department, am I right?" She asked, hoping that she was right. "Anyways, I'm glad you stopped by. If you didn't, I wouldn't haven met you." It was true. She was really glad this girl stopped by. She needed to make some more friends around here.

Abigail turned back to the other lady that was standing beside her. WHAT?! This girl wanted to buy her shoes. She glanced back down at her heels and shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I love these shoes. I don't want to sell them," she told the lady. "But, I can let you try them on, if you like?"

It wasn't like this lady would run off with her shoes, right?

She took her shoes off and then she went down a few inches in height. She sighed and looked back up at the lady. She was use to 'looking' up at people. She was 5'2 and she wasn't going to be getting any taller. She picked her shoes up and was about to hand them to the lady until she saw that look she was giving her. Did that lady want to eat her? She looked like a hippo! "Just try them on and if you REALLY like them, I'll try to find the place that I got them from, okay?" She said, handing her shoes over to the lady. Now, since these ladies didn't know who she was, it was time to introduce herself. "By the way, I'm Abigail Weather," she told them with a smile.
