Jasmine came to stand next to her father, her hazel eyes becoming intense in color as she focused on the sphinx before her. "Oh Papa, she is amazing!" she said in a breathless whisper.
She then cleared her mind of all thought and with an ease of many years honing her gift, she bid the sphinx greetings without uttering a word. It was then she remembered Ophelia's warning to always ask permission of the beast before communicating as she just had. Bowing her head in apology, she asked the sphinx's forgiveness for being so bold and explained that her excitement at seeing her clouded her judgement.

At about that time an older copper haired lady came walking in the break room. "Excuses me," she said looking around the break area. As she stepped closer toward James she asked, "Would you be the Head over the Beast Division?" At a nod she handed James a rather small envelope sealed with a bronze raven. “Then this is for you,” she said somewhat grumpy as she turned to exit the room.

Frida walked into the break room, 'Nobody here...good.' She closed the door quietly behind her and looked around the room, wanting to figure out where everything was. Making her way over to one corner where it seemed to be the designated area for preparing food-stuffs, she opened some of the cupboards to have a peek. "Ugh...so much coffee." She said to herself, "Why can't people just drink water and healthier stuff..." Frida grabbed a medium sized mug, which just happened to be her very favorite color, green. She filled it up with water and then took a small sip, sitting down in one of the chairs at a table. 'Ahh. Lovely silence.' Frida took a deep sigh as she continued to think about the counterfeit gold. She took out an agenda from her bag and wrote a few notes inside, enjoying her temporary break.

Kasandra walked into the break room with Pablo, her coffee cup safe in hand. "Well yes it is." She smiled going over to the coffee, pouring some. "And what would be your fix?" Kass asked as she plunked some sugars into her cup, watching the black liquid ripple on impact. "Everyone has something right?" She poured some cream in.

Pablo followed Kasandra and also refilled his mug. "Hmmmm my fix.... Well, it would probably have to be cake. Any and all kinds really brighten my day. I know odd...but I just love it." Pablo smiled sheepishly and added some cream to his coffee.

"Yes...everyone probably does. Why is coffee your fix?"

"Cake?" Kasandra looked over at Pablo and smiled as she stirred her coffee and milk altogether. "That's cute."

"Why is it mine?" Kass thought for a moment as she brought her cup to her nose and smelled the aroma of the hot drink. "I didn't even like coffee until I left school. I guess when I went traveling I was awake and working at odd hours. I need something to keep me up, and ever since coffee and me have been best friends."

Pablo gasped when Kasandra claimed his love for cake was "cute," but he held himself together and decided not to comment at all.

He continued to listen to her "coffee" story, and then replied, "Best friends, eh? Who and/or what else have become your best friends?"

Kass chuckled softly and then took a sip from her mug. She let out a soft mmmmh as she swallowed the coffee. "Yes my bestfriend." What else was her best friend? She tried to think of something to say. Her friends. There wasn't much friends out there she kept contact in. "Well My best friend's name is Joe." She said remebering her dear friend Jocasta Houdini.

"Joe?" Pablo raised and eyebrow and looked at Kasandra. "Do you care to elaborate on this 'Joe'? Or we can head on down to the Wizarding Conference if you would rather do that."

Pablo thought about his best friend, Rico Serio, who just so happened to be at the conference at this very moment. Pablo decided that he would take him a mug of coffee whenever they decided to head down there.

"Yah Joe, she is an odd one. The girl is still with the same guy from Hogwarts. Sometimes you just find love in school." Kass shrugged and chuckled. "Then there is me." She sipped at her drink once again and looked over at Pablo. He seemed antsy to get to the conference. "Yah sure we can head over there,."

"Oh? What do you mean, 'Then there is me?'"Pablo asked, intrigued. "I mean, if you don't want to elaborate, that's fine...we'll go to the conference. But if you're willing to share...." he trailed off, grinning sheepishly.

Kass chuckled softly as she leaned against the counter, still drinking her coffee. Softly her shoulders shrugged and her head cocked to one side. "I don't know, I've just... I guess I've never had the best of luck with relationships." As far back as she could remember she had always had trouble with guys and the whole love concept.

"Oh. I see..." said Pablo, also enjoying his coffee. "Well maybe your luck is about to change...." He cocked an eyebrow at Kass and winked.

"Well, how about we head down to the conference now? I'd love for you to meet my friend. And I think he'll be wanting his coffee too...." Pablo looked down at the extra cup of coffee in his hand, reminding him about Rico.

Kass looked up from her coffee cup to Pablo and smiled. "Well you could be right." She said with a soft chuckle. "You just lead the way Pablo."

Jessica walked into the room.She was flattered and anxious at the same time because Egypt had told her to use her judgement and just check the levels regularly.She quickly set to work and cleaned the floors first.There was a hard stain that wouldn't budge when she tried to clean it with her wet sponge. She took out her wand and"Scrougify"the stain slowly disappeared.Pleased with herself she put her wand back in her pocket.

SHe went and cleaned the cupboards with her duster "Is there anyhting to be fixed or anything."she said out loud to the whole room.She couldn't see anything else that needed to be done.

Jake slouched into the empty break room. He had had another long night and now he was starting to feel it. Sighing, he sat in an empty chair and closed his eyes, imagining that his sister Grace were there playing for him. He hummed her favorite melody in his head, imagined her fingers on the little gold keys. Already he was starting to feel just a bit better. She's going to have to record a CD or something, he thought. I could use it right now.

The three memo’s that had drifted from Dragon Research and Restraint drifted into the Break Room on the same level. The paper airplane’s circled the top of the room for a little bit before soaring down to their destinations. The first one landing on the table in front of Pablo Verdez, and unfolded itself accordingly. The second one circled the head of Kassandra Tonks, before gracefully settling at the table before here, unwrapping itself subsequently. The third memo flew over to Jake Prince, and landed right in front of him softly, unfolding itself in a neat and orderly manner.

Each of the three memo’s read as follows;

I need you to report to the Dragon Research and Restraint Offices immediately, something has just come up and I need to explain it to you now. It’s nothing to worry about, just important matters that I need to alert to you as soon as possible.

PS: Jake, I know you are in Pest Advisory but I understand that you do have moderate experience with Dragons. I’d like you to join us as well.

Rowan walked into the crowded break room. She was running empty on coffee and needed a refill. As well as a break from the endless paperwork. Glancing around, none of the faces registered to her which meant she was now in a room with a bunch of strangers. Sighing, she made her way over to the machine only to find it empty. Well, nothing better then fresh coffee i guess. Finding what she needed, Rowan began to make a fresh pot.

James walked in to the breakroom and slugishly made his way across the room and poured himself a cup of coffee. he hadn't slept well in weeks and it was by now noticably starting to take its toll on his appearance. he sat down and took a drink from his cup.

Rowan was slightly startled when the gentlemen poured himself a cup of coffee right in front of her and didn't even notice that he had to reach over her to get to it. She chuckled lightly to herself and then sat down across from him. "Tough day?" She didn't want to be rude but she was slightly curious, he looked awfully bed ridden.

James looked up as he set the cup down on the table. " Something like that?" He said lightly. " my apologies for seeming so rude and not saying excuse me." he took another drink of his coffee he was already starting to feel better than he had been. " James Randall." He extended his hand to introduce him self.


James read over the note and thought for a minute trying to figure out what it was about.
he looked at the lady across from him.
" I'm sorry I have.. something to take care of I think.." he looked make at the note trying to figure out who it was from. he finished off his coffe and excused him self before he exited the breakroom heading for the leaky cauldron.

Rori walked over to a table with the assignmet notes she had pulled from the filling cabinet, her coffee, and her tools for taking notes. She set to work and was done before she knew it! She freshened her stack of assignment notes and started over again!

Padme Walked into the Break room and looked around, This was her first day and she was nervous

Jessi sighed as she walked into the break room. It was a happy sigh, though, because she was...well, happy. Duh. She hummed random notes as she went to get herself a cup of tea, and turned to find a comfy spot on the couch, when she noticed someone she had never seen before, who looked kind of nervous.

"Hey," she said cheerfully, smiling at the woman. "Are you new here? I don't think I've met you before. I'm Jessica Miller - but I go by Jessi. Or Mouse, I guess..." she looked off into the distance for a while before returning her attention to who she was talking to, and sticking out her hand for a shake.

Padme Looked at her, My name is Padme Windu, This is my first day
