"You've been busy then." He said with a smile. "Which department did you like the best?" He asked her curiously. He wasn't that amazed by his department, but it was management and he knew that it was better than being a coffee boy or searching for another low-time job. He just needed to be shown that he had staff and that they knew what they were doing.

He watched her as she moved, and took the opportunity to check her out as her back was to him. He grinned a little, Yup, she was definately hot. Part of him hoped that she wasn't single, just so that he could restore his faith in London Men.. most of him wanted her to be single though... Although, it might be a little to soon to ask her out.

He gave her a smile as she came to sit next to him again. "Do you have any siblings Lili?" Might as well ask, it was a good way to find out if there would be a gang of brothers coming to beat him up for asking her out.

Lili turned slightly in her seat as she sat back down, so she was facing him. "Oh," she said, a little surprised by his question, "yes I do actually, I have a little sister, she's almost 8 years younger than me, and I have an older brother, he's a couple years older than me..." She missed him. They'd been close when they were growing up, but he was living in Italy with his wife now.

She sat there in silence for a couple minutes looking into his eyes, they were beautiful, and as long as he didn't hear her say that, she was going to think it all she wanted. She felt her face spread into a smile as a small giggle escaped. "What about you?" she asked, "Do you have any siblings?"

Iain smiled as she told him about her siblings. It was always good to know that she'd had an older brother to look after her. When she asked him about his own siblings he too nodded. "I do." He told her with a small grin. "I'm an only child, with two half-sisters." He said with a grin before he added, "And I spoil them both rotten."

"My parents got divorced when I was seven. By the time I was ten, my Mother had married Matthew Burke." By the look on his face, it was obvious that he didn't get on with Matthew very well. "However, they gave me my sister Aurelie. She turned 16 last weekend, and its very scary to think that she is going into sixth year at Hogwarts in September." He added with a grin.

"My Dad, remarried as well, although he took longer to find someone to love. Alexandria is amazing though, and they gave me me Cassandria. She just turned ten, and is a lovely little Lady. She is away to start at one of the Private school's in London when the new school year starts." Silently, he wondered if he had bored her with all of the information.

Lili smiled at him softly, it was nice to know someone else's family was everywhere, though, his was in a different way then hers. "Do they live close to you?" She asked. He seemed to really be fond of his sisters, and for his sake she hoped they were close, she knew what it felt like for them to be so far away.

He smiled at her. "Well, my Mum lives with Matthew and Aurelie in Edinburgh. My Mum owns a boutique there. I stayed close to them when I did my five year Master's degree at Napier. My Dad, Alex and Cass live in London, my Dad is one of the Archbishop's in the House of Lord's." He said, unsure if it would actually mean anything to the blonde. He didn't know her ancesty. "What about you? Is your family close about?"

Lili shook her head, "No, they're every where," she told Hunter. "My parents are in South Dakota right now, and my sister Kaitlynn is there with them again, she had been with me, but when they movied back to some place warm she went back with them, and my brother Neil lives with his wife in Italy." She smiled at him, she could really see herself liking this guy, he was really cute, plus, he really seemed like a nice guy. She could help but wish she knew more about him.

"What do you say about going to get some icecream with me?" she asked, trying to sound casual. "I could really sure something to eat," she said, as if that explained the suddeness of her question at all.

Hunter sighed gently. "I'm sorry. At least mine are in the country." He said with a sigh. "I'm sorry your family are so far away." He told her, wondering if that meant he had more of a chance to get her on a date. Hmm, interesting thought.

His attention was piqued as she mentioned getting ice cream, and the fact that she could use something to eat. He smiled at her and then grinned. "I will come to Florean's with you, however -- I insist that we get something before hand. You can't survive a full day in the office on an ice cream cone." He said, as he stood up and offered his hand to help her up.

Lili took his hand and got up. It felt so warm under hers, and she didn't want to let go, but she wasn't sure if she should, or if he would think it was odd. "Okay," she said with a nod, still not letting his hand go, "where do you want to go first then?" Food before ice cream did sound good she thought smiling.

Keeping hold on her hand, he smiled and started to walk towards the door. "Well, there is this lovely little Cafe that Cassandria always makes me take her too. Its right beside the London Eye." He told her with a smile. "Does that sound okay?" He hoped it was okay, because he really liked that cafe, and it had lovely views of Westminster Palace and the Thames from it.

Jacob slipped into the Breakroom with only a thin folder clutched in one hand. The folder, a Muggle creation that he found particularly useful, held all of his information, reports, and notes on the France struggle. He sighed, slapping it onto the table nearest the tea machine.

The tea was nice and hot, but not as good as the brand he bought for his flat. Still, this was his punishment for forgetting his trusty, daily mug of Earl Grey – sad MoM imitations. However, the caffeine was more what he needed for today…having to Floo to Greece at midnight to watch his niece while his brother was rushed to the hospital for poisoning was both emotionally and physically draining.

Back at his seat, Jacob took a long, slow sip of the tea. Caffeine was in there for sure. He could feel it instantly.

The folder started to look ominous, like it was daring him to open it up and see his lack of progress. Jacob gave in; he opened the cover and winced at the short pile of papers. He flipped through it quickly – notes from the Department meetings took up the highest percentage of pages, blank pages took up most of the rest, copies of reports, and a few news articles about the murder and restrictions filled out the folder.

Sighing, Jacob took another long draught for courage and prepared a new sheet of paper. He titled it “France To Do List” in large letters and then proceeded to make a list:

Well, it was a start anyway. Jacob took a half hour to review the folder, then took a second to check off the first line. Now, it was time to find Ian Hunter.

Jacob refilled his tea cup to the brim before going on his way. These cups held so much less tea than his mug.

Abilee walked to the the breakroom for some coffee. For some reason, she couldn't get Jenkins out of her head. Pouring herself a cup and looked for a seat. When she found one, she sat down, crossing her legs and took out a book to read.

Jenkins strolled into the breakroom, he looked around and saw Abilee sitting by herself at a table, otherwise the room was empty, obviously this wasn't a busy time for the MoM. He gave her a wave and went to get some tea. Not wanting to disturb her because she was reading; he sat at a table near the windows and gazed out while sipping his tea.

Abigail smiled when she saw Jenkins walk into the breakroom. She waved back and smiled again. Not really ever paying attention to her book, she set her book down.
"You can join me if you like." she said. She was hoping to get to know him more. They were working in the same division after all.

Jenkins turned as Abilee waved him over. He smiled and sat down across from her.

"Umm...so do you know what we have to do in our division?" she asked. She couldn't come up with anything else at the moment.

"No idea," Jenkins replied, "But i did see that there is a conference room... maybe after people get more settled in they will have a meeting. There's a lot of new employees."

This is a little... awkward, he thought.

"And divsion heads." she added.
"Do you have family at hogwarts or were you the last one?"

"Nope, the only child to my parents messed up marriage," said Jenkins stiffly. Well he did have half siblings from his father's affairs, but they were secrets.

Iridesca walked into the Breakroom and slowly handed out bottles with something inside and encouraged each person to open it up.

She really hoped the news would spread and the department could have a fun get together.

Jenkins smiled up at the lady who had handed him the bottle, "You have awesome hair," he said.

He opened his bottle and read what was inside. "To bad the party is only for the MoL division," he said to Abilee, "I'm thinking maybe our division should have one...what do you think?"

Iridesca overheard the man's comment, "O no I'm extending the invitation to the whole Department since our Division is kind of small. I would love to see you all there!" she said with a smile..."O and thanks..I can't keep it to stay one color."

Jenkins grinned up at her, "So are you like one of those people...say if you got angry it would turn red?"

He liked this lady, finally there was something interesting going on at the ministry, so far work had been boring. He had actually been considering suggesting a qudditch match between the different divisions in international cooperation.

She smiled at the man, "Yeppers I'm one of those peeps...my eyes have the same issue..it runs in the family...I'm told that I could probably change other things but I'm a little afraid to...I mean imagine if I made my ears big and then they stuck like that and I looked like the Muggle's Dumbo or something..." she giggled at the thought of her with huge ears that she could fly with. "I'm Iridesca...you are?" she asked with a smile

He laughed at the Dumbo comment, not that he had any idea what it was.

"I'm Jenkins...Jenkins Z. Vaughn III. Nice to meet you...Iridesca, cool name;unusual."

"It's great to meet you" she said and decided that she had time to sit down and talk for a little while..."Well, my mom, and ironically now my, favorite color is iridescent, so she thought Iridesca was the most amazing name EvEr! Our family all has different names. Kind of cool but it stinks if you want to buy one of those personalized quills because they never have our names on there...you have to special order it all....o and no one can ever say your name right..." she said with a giggle...
