Iris entered the Breakroom in her slow and proud pace. She poured herself some coffee, sat at an empty table by the exit and started sipping it slowly in order to enjoy it as much as possible. She glanced at the other people who were at the Breakroom indifferently and took out her notebook. She went through it, found a blank page and started taking notes on the things she had to do later that day. It was an old habit of hers she couldn't quit. After she had finished that, she placed the notebook in her bag again.

Rico raised an eyebrow in surprise as he sipped his coffee. "You're Irish? How fascinating!" He postively beamed at Dora, as Ireland was on his top ten list of most intriguing nations. "Why did you come to London, just to work in the Ministry? If you don't mind my asking..." he added hesitantly.
"I'm American, actually, and I used to work for the United States Ministry of Magic," Rico replied. "London's such a nice change of scenery, you know? Very different weather from the states, though," he nodded, still smiling.

Rico nodded to Dora's reply and continued sipping his coffee as he answered questions...for she seemed to have many of them.
Not that he minded. 
"Well yes, there are a lot of differences," he stated thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "For one thing, those little memos that fly around? Like Muggle aerocopters? Is that what they're called?" He chuckled. "The little memos are interesting, but also, I was surprised with all the organization here," Rico added, sitting up. "Everyone's so...so professional...and all the cubicles are like drab little offices...."
He trailed off with a frown, realizing that didn't make any sense. "What I mean is, at the American ministry, everyone knows everyone else's business and the place is a lot noisier. And more colorful." He nodded to himself, wondering what he had just rambled, and realizing he missed it more than he cared to admit.

"Ten years?!" Rico raised an eyebrow and whistled, long and low. "I did a little travelling myself, but definitely not that much!" he grinned and shook his head, impressed.
And then there was Disney World, the tourist capital of America. "Ah yes, who doesn't love Muggle theme parks?" He smiled again. "I loved visiting there, a few times for recreation and once for work." Rico chuckled to himself at the memory. He'd had to sort out a wizard who tried to apparate inside the park so that he could save a few bucks on entrance tickets. It was a good idea, but poor execution and planning resulted in some major splinching.
