The Department of Mysteries can get tough, but fear not; the break room is here to settle those working blues. So, sit down, pull up a chair and releax. What else better is there to do?

In the room sits several tables, along with a variety of chairs; from straight-backed to ones so soft that you can sink in, there's always a place to collapse. A magically-operated vending machine rests against a wall so you won't go hungry, and several magazines and books are scattered throughout the room.

And no we are not the only two in the Planet Room. There is Elizabeth, and the others which totals to up to I think ten including those who are on leave." he said explaining her the details. He really doesn't want to do business now but for the sake of a simple orientation, he had to do it.

"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Sumner. But please," he said, sitting down next to her. "Call me Kristofer or Kris. Or, if you prefer just Atkins. Saying 'mister' makes me feel old." He took a sip of his tea as she asked him how he was doing. Aww. He wasn't fabulous at small talk either sometimes. "I'm doing just well. How about you? I have this feeling you're new here."

Quidditch? Well, he cleared his throat and said, "I used to play for the Durmstrang when I was a student there. I am a Keeper." he paused and said, "Now, I am playing and teaching my godson who is a chaser in Hogwarts."

"Well, I was working at Madame Malkin's for a while but then I decided that I was bored. It was too routine for me and that I needed some excitement, so I applied for a job here in the Departmwnt of Mysteries.", Melina told her. "Nothing here ever seems to be routine.", she added, smiling gladly.

Sophia of course, how could she not, noticed the overly excessive politeness about Alice. It some regards it was refreshing, but it was also unnerving. Though Sophia Anne was never one to judge - at least not verbally - no, that was Anastasia and Georgia's thing. Little did Sophia realize was that the four of them were more alike than they let realize, but that was besides the point.

Giving the woman a half-smile, as she took the seat near her (and thus intruding on her time to get know those two males, which was fine because there would be time later), the woman than proceeded to introduce herself. New division head of Brain Room. Oh? That was a room she hadn't heard too much about; yes she would have to take a trip there too...

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Alice Sumner." She replied, deciding there was no reason to state her name and position. Alice already knew clearly. But Alice was also holding out her hand, of which Sophia eyed for a moment before reluctantly taking. Germs. EWW! "So, where did you say you received your magical education from?" Of course Alice didn't, but Sophia was making conversation.

Blinking from the woman and back to Kris, when he complimented her about being joy to work with, she just smiled, pressing her lips to together for a moment. "You'll just have to wait and see, but thank you."

Oh but what's this? He was now addressing and speaking with Alice? Well it seemed to Sophia Anne that a certain Kristofer Atkins was quite the flirtatious guy . . . Interesting.

Sophia Anne hardly got jealous; not even when Kaylee had been secretly out with her boyfriend oh-so-many years ago. Nope. She was eternally mad at him for lying to her, but jealous? Okay, maybe a little.

But this was new kinds of jealousy. Mostly because Sophia generally thought herself an attractive young witch. Fair, blemish-free glowing skin, green eyes, long brown thick hair. She wasn't half bad looking so there was little reason to be jealous over this blue-eyed beauty. And her much too cheerful personality wasn't much help either, as she greeted herself and some others standing nearby.

"Yes. Brilliant day," she greeted, forcing her lips upward into a smile.

But the picking at her danish didn't last long as another of her division heads entered and she took notice of them chatting with one of their new employees. DH. A fine and responsible young chap, he was. Giving him an easy smile in his direction, she then looked back at her danish and then the time on her wrist.

Oh. This was just lovely. Time went far too fast when they were having fun... well another five minutes couldn't hurt anything.

If you had told Marina, right then, what was going through Sophia's mind, she would not have believed you: She did not know the Department Head too well but, all the same, she both admired and respected Sophia.

"Enjoying your break?" she asked, her blue eyes lighting up as she directed her attention towards the pretty head. Marina had always been the type to whom talk came easy, and this break had definitely given her a good reason to exercise her conversational skills.

DH nodded as he was taking in the stories about the past of Rose. He then remembered that he promised his godson a vacation, which he totally forgot.

"He is named after me. He is Daniel Robert James Kaiser. He is the son of von count Alexander of Romania." he said it with pride. After all his best friend once saved his life from total perile.

"Yeah, definetly.", Melina agreed. "My parents seem to rely on me for any type of technological help, though I don't know why. I am a total ditz when it comes to all that. I just know what I need to know. Like how to work a camera. I find photography so amazing. It has this power, almost, that can draw your attention to certain things in a picture or make you dizzy. Fascinating, isn't it?"

"Well my break could always be better, but it could also be worse," she answered indifferently, almost like not even answering at all. "Though I daresay its time to wrap this party up?" She then turned her attention on the gatherings of employees as much chatter seemed to quiet down.

"Yes, time to head back to the work." With that, she pushed back from the table and rose from her seat.
