Daniel then headed straight for the Breakroom. After all every employee of this Department have one or two trips to this room. He then posted one on the door.

He then thinks it over. Maybe it is not necessary to put any more copies of this note to every division in Level 9. Hen then flicked his wand and muttered EVANESCO and the other copies are gone.

Kate walked into the break room and grabbed a glass of water. She sat down and waited to see if any of her colleagues were coming.

Violet needed a break so she quickly grabbed a drink and a slice of cake and sat down somewhere quite. She really needed a rest right now.

Kate looked up as Violet entered the room. She smiled.
"Tired? Are you enjoying yourself?" she asked.

Violet grinned at Kate. "Sure am and yes I am ejoying myself...it turned out to be ok today," she said happily. She took a bite out of her cake and relaxed some more. "So you doing ok?" she asked Kate.

Kate smiled. She was glad Violet was enjoying herself.
"Yeah, I've been here a while now so it's getting easier as it goes on" she said. She looked around the break room.
"I wonder where Donovan got to?" she said.

With newspaper tucked under his arm, Donovan stepped into the nearly empty break room. "Ladies," he said to the two employees already seated there as he nodded in greeting. "There's a new employee joining us today," he added as he took a seat. What was his name? He was feeling so dizzy from the room that he was having trouble focusing. He took a few deep breaths to clear his head. "Edilson... Mills," he finally remembered. "He'll be along shortly." Thankfully they only had time to do one or two more trial runs before going home. The effects of the room was really starting to take its toll. And he could not wait till the weekend. Funny. He never felt that way about his work before.

Kristofer strode his way into the breakroom after a defeating process in the Time Room. Unfortunately, he didn't make any breakthroughs today. Darn. He shoved his left hand in his pocket as he opened the door with his right hand.

Upon entering, there were two ladies and a man holding a copy of the Daily Prophet, and a mention of a new employee. Oh dang it, that wasn't his name. But Kris was new.

So, being the natural charmer he is, he put on his award winning smile.

"Ladies, gentleman," he said, nodding to each. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything."

He walked over to the counter and poured himself a cup of coffee and stood leaning against the counter. Hmm. He wasn't one to intrude, so he would wait.

Kate looked up as Donovan entered the room. So they had another new employee. She looked around and tried to see Edilson, however he had not come into the room yet.

Edi followed Mr. Calrissian to the break room. Loosening his tie, Edi smiled at his fellow colleagues & lounged on one of the comfy chairs. Taking out a muggle magazine from his bag, Edi stretched his arms and continued reading it from where he left.

Being a muggle-born, Edi loves to include a little muggleness in his life. He doesn't use magic all the time at his flat because his best friend & roommate is not a wizard. Sometimes keeping balance between the muggle world and magic world is hard.... very hard.. It's like living a double life!

Kate looked up as Edi walked in. She smiled and moved closer towards him.
"Hello, I'm Kate, one of the workers in the Locked Room" she said.

Edi glanced up from the magazine, "Oh, I have a visitor" he thought as he stood up from the chair. He stuck his hand out to her "Pleasure to meet you Kate. I am Edi...I mean Edilson Mills." He said giving her the most dazzling smile. "Please sit" He said dragging a chair for her like a gentleman.

Kate smiled. Edilson seemed liked a really nice man.
"Why Thank you" she said, taking a seat and making herself comfortable before turning towards Edilson again.
"So, this must be your first day then?" she asked. She opened her eyes wider then usual and showed the brilliant blue that usually hid behind her eyelids.

Violet looked up to see the new employe. another one huh? boy she just started recently too. She smiled at him and held her hand out "Hey there, I'm Violet Springs-I shall look forward to work with you!" She glanced at Kate and grinned. Hmm...what was this...violet thought to herself.

Kris coughed slightly as the new entrance made his way into the room.

"Glad to see I'm not the only new face around here," he commented, taking a sip of his drink. My my, these ladies did seem to like the attention of the new man. He smirked, and began to walk around to sit in an empty chair. "Hope you don't mind," he commented to the woman sitting closest to him.

Donovan pulled out his newspaper, intent on reading, when he heard another man's voice behind him. Not Edilson's, as he expected his new employee right behind him, but another new face, he noticed as he looked up from today's headlines. "Not interrupting at all," he smiled at the unfamiliar man. "Please, sit," he gestured towards an empty chair at his table. "I don't remember seeing you around Level Nine... Are you new to the Department? I'm Donovan Calrissian, head of the Locked Room." He thought it only polite to introduce himself to the other employees of the building, even if they didn't work for him.

And there he was. Donovan gave him Edilson a warm smile and nod in greeting as he walked in and sat down. Then he watched with some curiosity as the others walked over to talk to him. Good to know they're getting on so well already, he thought to himself as he turned his attention back to the Daily Prophet.

Kris nodded his head towards the Division Head of the Locked Room. He sat down next to him at the table and let him introduce himself before he properly did the same thing. Adjusting his tie, he waited, and then took a sip of coffee.

"Yes, I'm new," he said, placing the mug back on the table. "I'm actually a transfer from the Wizengamot. Kristofer Atkins. You can call me Kris, if you'd rather. I'll respond to either."

He adjusted the sleeves of his suit and even debated about taking off his jacket. Eh. It was a little warm in the room for him, but best not do anything too rash right now. After all, he was a newbie.

Kate turned to the other man who had just sat down. She smiled, still showing off her eyes.
"Hello Kris, I'm Kate, I walk in the Locked Room, Nice to meet you" she said. She moved her chair back so she was in the middle of the two new men as well in front of Violet and near Donovan, she didn't want to be rude of course.

Kris's eyes now turned to the lady who had adressed him. He smiled, making sure to let them all know he was friendly.

"Hello Kate," he said. "I'm actually working in the Time Room. Right pain in the butt, it is. But the Locked Room? Very interesting."

He had heard many things about the Locked Room, and what it contained. Man, would he love to get his hands working on that room. Haha, he would love to - that was ironic. Ahem.

"How is everyone doing today?"

Kate smiled, The Time Room? She didn't know much about it, well, apart from the obvious of course.

"Yes, the Locked Room, interesting but hard" she said, thinking about the current project. She thought before answering Kris.

"I'm good thanks, How about you?" she asked. She was glad that everyone seemed to be getting along so well in the Department.

Kris adjusted his tie while looking around the room. At least it wasn't as dark and creepy like as the rest of the level was. Now he knew why some people strayed away from here. Which meant that it only drew Kris in more - he loved challenges, loved trying to break codes. Everything about that drew him in.

Kate spoke again, and she said she was doing well. Excellent.

"That's good to hear," he said. "Having any fits with your work yet? That ticking is starting to wear on me, not as annoying anymore."

Kate laughed slightly. She knew she could never put up with the ticking.

"Not yet no, although I don't envy you, I couldn't stand the ticking" she chuckled. Kris seemed like a nice man.

"So, where about's are you from originally Kris?" she asked.

Kris chuckled slightly, scanning the extra copies of the Daily Prophet around him. He picked it up to see if there were any interesting articles, or perhaps one by his favorite writer. He smirked just thinking about her.

When Kate adressed him once more, he took a sip of coffee and then looked back up at her, placing the paper down on the table.

"Well, I'm actually from Germany," he said. "Hence why my accent is a little different than the rest."

And to think, he'd been in England for three years, and his accent was still hanging around. But, he still rapidly spoke German with his parents, so it might not have helped.

"Where are you from?"

Kate stood for a moment and stretched before sitting down again.

"Germany? I've never been there before, what's it like?" she asked.

She thought about her own home. She chuckled.
"Well, I'm from here, I've lived in the middle of London all my life" she smiled.

"My Pleasure.." He said taking a bow. Edi ran his fingers through his brown hair and continued, "Yes, it's my first day" He smiled politely and adjusted his chair a little.....too close... "Did I mention that you have gorgeous blue eyes...?" Edi told, narrowing his eyes & smirking..

Edi glanced up, Ahah...new colleague! Great to see that everyone was finding him friendly & approachable. Edi stood up and shook her hand gently. "Edilson Mills. Pretty name ma'am" He complimented the lady, who was as pretty as her name. "Sit..sit" He said as he dragged a chair for Violet. "So, what are we supposed to do in The Locked Room?" Edi asked, rubbing his eyes..


"Excuse me Ladies..." He said with a smile. Walking a few steps, Edi turned around "I'll be back" He mouthed the words.. Taking a cup of coffee on his way, Edi walked over to the other man who he didn't know.."Edilson Mills..." He said and offered a handshake with a smile.
