Construction may have just finished days ago, but you'd never know it by the way the newly converted courtroom-to-auditorium looked - so finished, so polished and so ready for its sole purpose - the opening ceremonies of the International Wizarding Conference. With introductions of each visiting country's Minister to be made, performances and foods to celebrate the world's leaders gathered here, and the British Ministry's very own Minister to open up the summit, a new venue needed to be constructed to allow for such events.

From the doors through which all enter, the seats cascade downward, all facing the most important area of any auditorium - the stage. A stage upon which will sit ten of the most formidable and respected leaders of the Magical World. A stage which will feature a number of speeches and performances unlike any other.

At the center of the center aisle is a round clearing, which will house the wand torch statue that represents the magic and power of a conference of this kind.

Set-up of decorations is just finishing up and shortly the opening ceremonies will commence!

Violet grinned. "Everyone always says that. My daughter Maura gets it a lot too. I suppose it must be true!" she laughed. "Oh, the Patents Division," said Violet, shaking Dree's hand. "Very nice. It's good to meet you, Madreena!" She paused. "I mean, Dree," she corrected herself automatically.

Beth came into the room and saw everyone in there and got suddenly very nervous. She decided to jsut lay low for a while until she knew when to speak.

Dree smiled. "That's neat. My cousin Jennumara does too."Dree said smiling as she thought about Jenn. Jenn was so cool. Dree nodded. "It's nice to meet you too"

"Jennumara?" Violet repeated. "That's a pretty name!" She grinned, and let go of Dree's hand. "It's very exciting to be here, isn't it?" she said all of a sudden, the words coming out in a rush.

Cassandra looked at the prime minister, fetching, there was nothing said about fetching anything for them. "Well, if it makes you happy I can get you what you want, your happiness is very important to us." She said, giving him one of her best smiles. She looked at the pendant around his neck and was shocked at the size of it. "That is a very beautiful ruby, must be expensive as well."

"Some tea would be pleasing." Yoshi responded. "Oh yes its a family heirloom- along with my sword. I'm sure it would be worth a lot were I ever to sell it. Not that I ever could of course. It stays on my neck at all times; even if it is a bit ostentatious."

He looked around, "Get yourself something as well. Actually perhaps you could bring a plate with a little of everything over here. That way if the entertainment is boring we can entertain ourselves trying to figure out what strange things we are eating."

Cassandra was intrigued with his necklace, listening to him talking about it. She tore her eyes from the necklace and looked at the sword he had on him. "I would love to hear more about them, if there's more you want to talk about them, when I come back." She said and nodded before walking over to the food stand. She picked up two plates and started filling them with food from each country, putting plenty of the Japanese food on both plates. She balanced both plates on an arm and grabbed both of them some drinks before walking back over to the table with their food. "Here you are Prime Minister. Is there anything else that you wish me to bring you?"

Syd smiled and nodded to his employees. A few looked nervous, some looked ready to party, and others looked like they were just there to work. He checked his watched and took another bite of his chicken.

"Things are shapin' up," he said to no on in particular.

Hopefully the other ministers would find him worthy of listening to. The American one might be the only one who could understand him through his drawl though... Guess that was the price to pay for being from the south.

He was talking to two other woman and had a small glowing crate at his feet. "Hello Teal. I'm sorry that I'm late. I had some last minute paperwork to file before I could leave the office. How are you?"

Right as he finished his sentence with Reagan, he whipped around with a grin on his face as he recognized one of his new employee’s. Rowan Cromwell, she was good, very good, at what she did. “No worries Rowan.” He said with a small grin, “Paperwork,” Teal muttered, “Doesn’t really get much worse than that does it?” he asked with a wry grin. Through all of Teals years in the workplace, there was nothing he dreaded more than paperwork.

Looking around he noticed a loud, southern drawl and recognized the overly friendly woman as the American Minister. He’d attempt to avoid that woman, but he was surely going to have to talk to her at one moment or another. “I’m great.” He said with Rowan, nodding. “Just glad we got everything ready in time. You nervous for the conference?” he asked, knowing the importance of it all. He knew she’d be ready though, hard worker indeed.

Thankfully, everything was in order, and the conference was going to begin any minute.. it seemed that the only person who was missing in that room was Minister Cooper.
But he would be there in no time.
Angelina’s thoughts about the conference were interrupted when she heard someone saying her name.

Someone with a familiar, and she had to admit.. even if it was only to herself, agreeable voice.
“Mr Serio.” She moved her green eyes to him with a genuine smile.“It's a pleasure to see you too. ”

“ It’s good to know you have a positive opinion about everything.. and everyone.” But of course it was.
His opinion was important. Well.. everyone’s opinion was important.
“Well, thank you, but it wasn’t just our department who worked on this beautiful room. Some people from other departments helped too. As a matter of fact, I think we had a man from your department in here.” the young woman calmly replied, still with the smile on her face.

The man's brain and mouth move at 100 meters a minute. Its a wondered he hasn't burnt out by now." She hadn't met Nicoli but the one time at the wedding, but he seemed a pretty ok man. "Well you have to work in some sort of chaos. Criminals don't exactly work on a time table or in a ordered fashion. So you guys have to be adaptable to catch them." She missed some of that action being on Level 2, but she was calmer and happier without being a judge.

He smirked at her. “You see me eating fried chicken a lot at home and you always look disgusted by it.” He straightened up in his seat as she adjusted his lapel for him. He had to admit, he quite liked this particular suit. The material was all soft and the suit fit him rather well. He wasn't sure whether Egypt had actually had it made for him. It seemed that way but he didn't want to ask. He didn't really want to know the answer when you could get a new suit from George at Asda for fifty quid, though he was sure none of then would be as comfortable or fit him as well as this one.

“Thank you my love.” he replied with a smile. “Your sisters are good to you. I think it's stunning.” he told her honestly. Egypt always did look most beautiful in yellow and green.

“I met one of your team actually...” he thought for a minute trying to recall her name. “Olivia. She seemed like a sweet girl.” he told her. “You lot should be given a bonus for this.” he commented. “The Ministry's never looked so clean.”

He laughed. “Forrester's a wee bit funny in the brain I think.” he said pointing at his temple. “Nicoli''s a good bloke. He has the patience of a saint.” He smirked slightly at the memories of the day thus far. How that man hadn't gone off with stress yet Nate did not know. “That's very true, but it's not the criminals causing the chaos.” he chuckled.

He looked around at the proceedings and spotted a few faces he knew. Angelina Gilmore was among them. He hadn't seen her in an age. He gave her a nod and a friendly smile making a mental note to go and talk to her later when she was free. No doubt she had been rushed off her feet organising this event.

When Brian came in after a brief visit to the breakroom, everything seemed going unorganised. He had no clue of where Cambell was. It took few mintues for him to register what was going on actually around the place. He shook his head as tactically walked through the crowd to see his colleagues.

Madison blinked a couple of times at the last question the Minister asked. At the sight of things, the minister was right as he was not greeted properly but then again, everyone seemed to be in their own little world, some speaking to the foreign ministers while others were speaking amongst themselves.

"Well, sir, the ones I have meet do have honor but, this is...quite...different."

Striding into the conference, Vladimir Venin walked with a sort of ease. Looking around with his silver-green eyes, he searched for anyone he might know, preferably from his division. Spotting the man in charge of the whole Creatures he made his way over to him, sticking a slender hand into his waistcoat's pocket.

"I see Monsieur Teal has been getting around. Sorry for the lateness, I was having dinner." He flashed a white toothed smile, looking around at all the people of the Ministry.

When Brian was walking through the crowd, pretty messy crowd, he heard some bad comments on British people and Ministry. His head spuned towards the voice. Oh...the short one. The Chinese Minister who shoved the ugly chopsticks in Brain's hands before. He forced a smile to his face, approached him, "Excuse me Sir, May I know what you want exactly?" he looked straight, still polite, "I'm here for you.." he offered promptly as one of the in chargers from the Ministers Office.

Andrina slowly walked into the conference room, with a slightly nervous air. She adjusted her black hair and looked around nervously for anyone she knew. She didn't see anyone, of course being an unspeakable, didn't lend its self to gain friends.Her purple eyes were wide as she looked around, slightly scared.

"Of course." Yoshi agreed, inclining his head politely. While she was gone he looked around at the people gathered. It seemed... very casual. He watched as his guard brought a selection of food and some beverages that he hoped to be good tea, to the table.

"Ah thank you." He bowed a little bit, "No, nothing- please sit. And call me Yoshi. It is very very improper but then this whole occasion seems to be lacking in formality." His tone was one of disapproving amusement and he looked around at the gathered employees. As long as the conference itself went well Yoshi Ishikawa did not mind. "Tell me about your department, if you please."

Cristoph Witte, being his usual cocky self, strutted into the room. Wearing a blue button-down shirt with an orange tie, a cream-colored suit with matching pants, and neon green colored rubber shoes, outrageous was the only way to describe his outfit. Oh well. It wasn't like he was used to wearing anything but outrageous anyway.

And, of course, he was too busy concentrating on his struts to actually see that anyone was at the doorway. His arm bumped into a woman standing at the door, and he whirled out of her way before he could inflict any more damage. "Woah. Erm, sorry about that," he said quickly, straightening his tie.

Andrina blinked as she felt someone bump into her. She didn't get mad, as that was not in her nature. Nor was she annoyed, she was apologetic. "Oh no, it's my fault I shouldn't have been standing in the door way." Andrina said as she turned her purple eyes to look at the man who had bumped into her. Whoa.. That was.. an outfit to say the least. He kinda reminded her a a muggle ice cream treat. "Hello, I am Andrina." She said adjusting her purple dress that matched her eyes perfectly.

Cris chuckled slightly at the woman's response, and shook his head. "It's nice of you to take the blame and all, but I know my faults," he said with a wink. When she introduced herself, he stuck out his hand. "I'm Cristoph, but you can call me Cris. It's a pleasure, Andrina, and may I be so bold as to say you're looking particularly purple tonight."

Well, that was Cris for ya.

Andrina gave Cristoph a small smile as she stuck his hand out and she shook it."It is nice to meet you Cris." She said as she grinned softly at his next words. "Why thank you, I think." She said with an even wider smile, " Purple happens to be my favorite color." she said as she looked over his outfit. " I do like your tie, it adds a nice splash of color to the outfit." She said with a grin.

Cris grinned at Andrina as she spoke. "Purple does seem to suit you quite well," he commented, noting the shade of her eyes. "And while orange is not my favorite color," he added as e adjusted his tie once more, "I think it effectively helps my outfit stand out." He could help but laugh at that, too.

He then held his arm out at Andi politely. "Shall we look for a table before we run out?"
