He nodded "Being unable to get out of a room via the windows is always pretty strange though." He guessed he had probably sounded pretty strange saying that but then he was pretty strange anyway "There was a number of reasons for not sleeping really. My dad was always on the phone at crazy hours-" "Usually shouting at someone as loudly as possible" "-and I had insomnia for about four years so I just didnt really feel like sleeping to be honest." He laughed

He nodded "It's hard not to react when people are talking about you behind your back and telling everyone things you dont want them to know" "And some people seem to get that more than others" "I guess reacting is only natural."

He laughed "A certain amount of space is required, especially when people gossip, or they might end up in pain.." He laughed again

"It's good to put friends and family first and be there for them when they need someone." He smiled "And standing up for yourself is good too. Some people just sort of sit there and take it" He smiled weakly. He had probably taken way more than he should have done just to avoid confrontations. "The process of being a werewolf would be quite interesting I should think."

He laughed "If you take away my coffee I turn nasty" he laughed again "I think I've become a little too relient on it lately!" He laughed. He had tried to drink less coffee but everyone had forced him to drink it again when they couldnt take any more of his bad moods. He smiled and nodded when she said about the occassional treat "It's good to treat yourself sometimes" He smiled

He laughed "That would have been interesting!" He laughed "Shame I wasnt there!" He smiled, then nodded again "There has been a few times when I really shouldnt have set fire to things when i did.. Such as when my broom caught fire while I was on it.." He laughed "But setting fire to the teacher's robes was pretty funny. She didnt even notice for about 10 minutes" He laughed

He nodded and smiled "It was a pretty good job. More like fun than work really." He smiled and listened to her speaking about the farm she had worked on "It sounds interesting to have worked with animals on a farm, even if their names were confusing." He smiled "Thestrals as well?" He smiled "They dont really come out very often normally in areas where they can sense magic unless they know they can trust you." He smiled "Although I guess being able to see them isnt necessarily good.." "She must've seen someone die to be able to see them. That couldnt have been nice."

"A phone?" 'What is a phone?' "I know I went through a phase of not sleeping either, but that was when I was sixteen, after that it's pretty much been, hit the pillow and lights out."

"I'll keep that in mind about not taking your coffee away. I think I'd hate to see you in a bad mood." Frida couldn't help but grin, "What are your pet peeves by the way? I know I have about a thousand, but I'm easily annoyed."

"She was on fire for ten minutes?! And nobody else said anything? My goodness, she must have been very unpopular. Poor dear. You must not have gotten caught." She grabbed Blaze's jaw and moved his head back and forth slightly in an endearing way, "But that's just because you are so clever." Frida said as she made a pleasant face, then actually leaned forward and kissed the bridge of his nose. "You are clever."

"Oh, alright. I never really knew why they seemed to wander off and then come back." Frida said as she twirled her finger in her goblet, making it's contents freeze. She gazed back at Blaze and noticed his look, "I, um, saw my great grandmother die when I was seven years old. She had been ill for quite a while and eventually denied all further medicine. Said she wanted to rest and meet up again with her mate; my great grandfather who passed away a few years before her. It was rather sad, although she left us very peacefully. Her entire family was nearby and at her bedside, so she got to say goodbye before she moved on." Frida stared into her cup, she could feel her face get hot. "I was the one she said farewell to last. I was actually holding her hand when she left." She bit her lip a bit, "Have you never seen someone die?"

Egypt's face grimaced as much as it could when she heard Edward's announcement. She whipped her wand out of its holster. "I think ministry security is my department Edward." She informed him as she pulled herself up to her full height. Which barely came up to the middle of his chest at her 4 foot 9 inch self. She was growing weary of level two employees doing that to her department and her team, when her employees received more training than those MLES wizards. She gave him a look daring him to stop her or her team from doing their job. With her wand she directed her security team to the exits.

She was right behind Forrester to the stage after her people were in place.

Lorraine had been waiting for an answer from Kyra or Becca, where she hardly was paying much attention to what was happening around her. Except her attention was dragged away from the two young sisters when she heard a rather loud 'Hi Darling', which appeared to be coming from the stage. Quickly flickering her hazel eyes towards the stage - and ultimately the entertainment - Lorraine narrowed her eyes slightly as bridezilla Clara Belle sat herself down on Minister Cooper's lap! How rude! Does she not have any mannerisms?! Then again, this was the woman whose wedding she had just attended a few months ago ...

A few moments later, the British entertainment started by Chiara, the woman who seemed quite obsessive over the Minister, to which Lorraine was completely puzzled about. One had to clearly be messed up in the head to have an interest in him - romantically speaking, of course. But something wasn't right... Pictures of the Minister and his wife were shown, only Clara's body was defaced and stabbed. Shaking nervously, Lorraine kept her hazel eyes on the photos until it was over. And that was when real trouble started ...

Chiara not only had the nerve to show those pictures to represent the British Ministry, but then she threatened the first lady!! And ... left?! As a bug? Well she certainly was bugging Lorraine.

Biting her lip nervously, the department head searched around for her division heads and other employees. All she knew was that she was creeped out by what just happened and she wanted to get out of this courtroom as soon as possible. As well as ensure the safety of her employees, since she was their boss.

"Kyra! Blaze! Winter!" she called, looking around for them frantically, as she didn't remember seeing her fourth head Micah there. Then she called for the employees she had seen; "Jack! Melanie! Angelica! We have to go!!" she sighed, hazel eyes searching the crowd for them. Gah. Where were they!?

A paper airplane memo was zooming directly at Vivienne and she snatched it out of the air before it hit someone in the head. She opened it and a sharp intake of breath could be heard. The memo was quickly crumpled up in her fist. "Pardon," she said as she pushed past people on her way out of the room.

Egypt looked around at the department head telling her to people to go. "Madame, since you seem to be in a hurry to abandon your minister you and your team will help escort the other employees out of this area and to make sure none of them leave." She commanded. How would that look for the department heads to push past their employees to run out?

He glanced to the stage and shock was all over his face. Well, shock and some sort of amusement. Jack shook his head and chuckled. Great, simply great.

He sighed. This could only happen within our Ministry, thanks to our Minister. Seriously. The arrival of Clara Belle was never good. Threatening a first lady was kind of out of line, but no one could say she never asked for it.

What a mess! He watched as a few stood and called for others to get out. Clearly they weren't in any problem at all. Apparently. So why the rush?

Lorraine turned around suddenly quite frazzled at the sound of another woman talking to her. Eying her carefully up and down with her sharp hazel eyes, Lorraine was sure she had seen her before. Abandon my minister? Hmph. And she's one to talk ... I was concerned for the safety of my employees! Ignoring the strand of brown hair that fell from her bun along the side of cheek, she nodded, even though she really didn't like being ordered like that. Best not to make a scene.

"Make sure none of them leave? But is that really safe for all of us to stay here?" Lorraine trembled slightly, wondering if the other woman had witnessed the same thing she just did.

Egypt looked the woman up and down. The woman almost had a foot on her and she was scared of a woman turning into a bug. Egypt walked closer to her. "Please pull yourself together madame. If we panic this was sink into chaos very quickly." She didn't want to be rude or mean to her when she was clearly upset. "Escort them off this level but please don't let them leave the ministry itself." She explained. The woman was clearly scared, which still baffled Egypt. "Take a member from my team to escort you." She added softly so only the woman could hear her.

Enrico had snapped out of his dreamy state once the veela entertainment disappeared, and he was just about to make a snappy comeback to Pablo when suddenly everything went haywire.

"What in Merlin's Pants is going on?" he mumbled, rubbing his chin as he tried to make sense of the crazy snakes and doodledy photos exploding onstage. "This is ridiculous. Please tell me I didn't just see all this."

Not only was this a major breach in security, it was also faulty international diplomacy and poor relations - why, the Japanese Minister was stuck to his seat or something! It was hard for Rico to see what was going on but he could tell there was going to be hell to pay at work in the coming weeks.

Now the problem was what to do? Clearly, it wasn't safe here but Rico honestly didn't feel threatened, he felt...angry for whoever had let this happen. Seriously, I hate planning parties and stuff and some doofus just came in here and messed up all of our months of preparation....!

He sighed and stuck his hands in his pockets, looking towards Angelina. She looked even more outraged than Rico did. "Er, Angelina," Rico said quietly, "should we stay or go....? We could help...if there's anything I can do....."

Well that might've sounded lame but he didn't know what to say, honestly. Security was all over the place and clearly Angelina's loyalties were to the Minister; Pablo didn't look like he was going anywhere in a rush so now Rico was just on his own. Nothing new there.

Nathan had been sat on the toilet for the past half an hour (45 minutes?) reading the paper and trying to put off going back into the extremely long and boring tedious ceremony. Better to be sat on the bog than to nod off and look like (more of) an idiot in front of your colleagues.

He shoved his hands in his pockets and hummed a muggle tune to himself as he sauntered casually back to hall. He paused in the doorway. His lucid emeralds widened as they bore witness to the chaotic scene and panicking Ministry staff. He made a face clearly annoyed with himself... trust Nate to be on the loo at a time like this!

He went further into the hall in search of the staff from his department, seeing no one except for Edward and Forrester who were up on the stage together with... Egypt? Merlin's pants! What on earth was she thinking running about in her (potential) condition? She looked, unsurprisingly, rather stressed by the whole thing. There was no sign of the other Aurors or Nicoli or Nathan's MLES colleagues.

He couldn't see any sign of anything which could have caused such panic among the Ministry staff. His eyes landed on the familiar face of Angelina and her gentleman friend whom had been sitting near to he and Egypt throughout the ceremony. He made his way sheepishly over to them. “Er.. what is going on?” He asked them slightly hesitantly just waiting for a cutting remark from Angelina about how, indeed, it should be his job to know what was going on.

"Nathan!" She almost screamed. She had been worried about him when the chaos broke out. She had almost launched herself off the stage. She got over to him as fast as she could. "I have to go close up the ministry." She said a bit breathless she never dreamed that Edward and Forrester would actually let her do something like her job. They always looked down their noses at her security team. She kissed him quickly on the lips. "Help get everyone up stairs and keep them calm, please." She asked him before she darted up to level 8 to close up the fireplaces and the visitor entrances.

It was definitely frustrating to see something like that happening and what was that !?
Her eyes widen in chock once more when a hand meandered out from behind the Japanese flag and took something hanging by one of the minister’s throat.
After that an enormous crack was heard and Angelina had to narrow her eyes and then turn them away from the stage when a blinding flash shone from it.
Oh just great. Now they weren’t just dealing with an insane woman.. they were also dealing with a thief.
“I can not believe something like this is actually happening..” she muttered, blinking a little because of the flash.
Wasn’t the Ministry supposed to be one of the most protected, if not the most, places in England ?!
She could see security all over the place, but in that moment, the ministry didn’t seem to be as safe as that.

Her green eyes moved in the direction of Rico when he spoke.
Help ? That was.. kind of him, especially when he was going to have some.. hard weeks in front of him, since he worked in the international cooperation department.. and Angelina could tell that that was the department that would have some crazy busy weeks.
She also could see the good relation between other countries and England going down.. deep down.
“No.. no you heard them.” She finally replied, trying to sound as firm as she could. She honestly didn’t know if it was better to go up to the stage, since it seemed to be chaos ever there, or leave the room. “I think it’s better for us to leave the room now. They are probably going to want this room to be free.. and probably they will close the ministry…”

Angelina stopped talking when she noticed a familiar man walking towards her and Rico, and a relieved small smile started to form on her lips. She was hoping to hear something similar to “you should leave the room” or some sort of small explanation for what was going on from Nathan’s mouth.
But clearly, that wasn’t what she heard.
The small smile faded and her both eyebrows simply popped up at Nathan’s question. “ “What is going on?”” Angelina repeated, looking at Nathan. Was he actually being serious? Maybe that was one of his jokes that she couldn’t find anything funny about. “ I was going to ask you that. Since you know, that was supposed to be your job.. knowing what is going on..”

Well, he just worked for the Law Enforcement .. which was just the department that shouldn’t let things like that happen.

Behind Nathan’s shoulder she noticed a man from the law enforcement department walking towards Reagan and talking with her. She moved her eyes back to Nathan and then , more calmly, asked. “Are they going to interrogate her?”
What did she know about how security should proceed when something like that happened anyways..
Then a woman that Angelina had met before approached them, she seemed pretty worried.
What was her name.. Ah! Egypt.. yes.
But before anyone could say anything the woman ran towards the exit, and left the room.
She left as quickly as she showed up.

He heard a voice addressing him from behind and turned to spot WhatsHisName, that man he'd also met at the RIP party. Rico resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the man, whom he was certain worked with Law Enforcement of some kind.

"Well there's been a bit of an International Crisis, see, and there's the Heads of a dozen different Ministries probably about to be attacked," Rico answered him rather sarcastically. "It's a wonder I know more than you do," he added, raising a dark eyebrow at the man. Only Merlin knew what he had been up to during the ceremony.

Rico shook his head at the man and sighed. He had to agree with Ang - chaos seemed to break out so easily at this place. "Yeah, I guess leaving is the only thing to do now...." He edged out of their row of chairs and then turned to see if she was still behind him.

But no, Angelina the ever-devoted employee was waiting to see what they were doing to her boss, the Senior Undersecretary. I wouldn't want to be her right about now, Rico thought, noticing that the Aurors were swooping down on the woman. Hopefully they wouldn't go after his friend too...if they got out of there now.... "Angelina, c'mon, we should go," Rico called back to her, motioning urgently with his hand for her to join him.

Nathan scratched the back of his head as Angelina gave him a look that was enough to make his blood freeze. He had been expecting that reaction... perhaps he should have just gone with the flow and pretended he knew exactly what was going on. “I..er.. I nipped out to go to the loo.” He explained. Brilliant Nate. Now she thinks your even more of a dimwit if that's possible. “Besides, I wasn't on duty... the Aurors seemed to have everything in hand.” As usual. He nodded towards the seemingly now Aurorless stage.

His eyes followed Angelina's to Reagan. “M-me? I-interrogate her?” He asked now looking more confused than ever. “Sh.. she caused all this?” Oh Merlin's bottom! That was the last time Nathan left something like this to go to the toilet... even if he was desperate to the point of explosion he had well and truly learned his lesson.

Nathan looked at the man properly for the first time and recognised him from that party they had had in some department or another for a poor woman who had fallen down some stairs. “Right.” He replied. Wait a sec... attacked!? He opened his mouth to ask if it was Reagan who was going to be doing the attacking but thought better of it, preferring not to risk looking even dimmer than he already looked. “I'm sure the Aurors will not let that happen.” He said in what he hoped was a reassuring tone.

His eyes darted back towards the stage as Egypt yelled his name. He was relieved when she came over and thought she was going to rescue him from this rather awkward situation. But no, he was still clueless as to what was going on. He merely nodded at her instructions, not having time to respond properly before she darted out of the room. For such a small woman, she was quick on her feet when she wanted to be. He looked back at Angelina and Rico. “You heard the woman.” he said as he put on his professional face and voice. “If you could just make your way quietly and calmly back to your department.” He gave Angelina and apologetic look and gestured towards the door.

At first, leaving was the best thing Angelina could think of for them to do, but now that she started to think about it better, she couldn’t leave the room.
She had to go up to the stage and stay beside her boss. Besides, she was entirely sure Reagan would need her to do something.. now that everyone was turning to her, asking for explanations and much more.
Reagan was her boss and that was her job.

Her eyes hadn’t moved away from Rico, so she observed him ,edging out of their row of seats and then turning back to look at her, without making a move.
Though, she mechanically walked towards the man with dark eyes that had sparkling gold flecks on it, when he gestured his hand for her to join him.
He should go, not she.
Even if she wanted, she couldn't.
Well, she could, she just didn't ... absolutely wanted to.
“You better head outside .. she spoke, slowly taking hold of the hand that he had been gesturing, for him to stop doing it. Though, she immediately regretted and let it go before adding with a slight professional smile “..and take your friends with you. I’m sure you have noticed how things are going in the stage.. I must go up there. And she should go fast before the people that were on it started leaving it. “I will meet you outside. ”
At least she hopped she would.

And then she turned towards Nathan.
Angelina couldn’t avoided it anymore, she rolled her green eyes at Nathan’s response. Seriously, sometimes she couldn’t help but questioning how he had ended up in the law enforcement department.
“Er.. do you really want me to comment that ?” she calmly asked, not turning her eyes away from him. “Oh! Y-you weren’t on duty..” Okay, right. So of course he didn’t know anything.. not his fault since he wasn’t not on duty. She couldn’t feel embarrassed right now, no time for embarrassment. “But of course Reagan didn’t do anything!” she replied to his ridiculous question, pressing her lips against each other not to keep talking.

She didn’t lower her eyebrows, not even when he pulled his serious professional face.
Humpf, Angelina didn’t need to pull hers.
“Well, I’m really sorry Nathan, I respect your wife and I respect you, but I’m going to have to go against that.” she politely replied. “I believe my boss would like me to be on the stage, and that is where I’m going. " Er.. could she even go there?
She would find out once she got there. “Besides, you are not on duty, remember ?”
Oh well, it seemed that he was now.

She quickly turned around and made her way through the crowd of people that were trying to leave the room, up to the stage.
But before she stepped onto the stage, she took a quick glance at Rico..and his friends, just to make sure they were leaving , of course.

She honestly just wanted that chaotic day to end.

Feeling Jack squeezing her hand in comfort Melanie automatically relaxed her stiff position a bit but her eyes continued to look around the conference hall anxiously. Was the creepy woman still in there? Hopefully she wasn't and the security people had already caught her. Hopefully.
Melanie felt Angelica grab her other hand which made her feel even more calmer. But somehow even more alert at the same time since it meant that she wasn't the only one who was sort of scared about the whole situation. What was going on?

Not even being aware of Jack talking to her and Angelica until she saw his hand movement out of the corner of her eye Melanie stopped her paranoid search for the woman and drew her attention back to what Jack and Angelica were both saying. Back to their division? Should they really? Or should they rather meet somewhere with Lorraine? While contemplating on what to do Melanie felt her feet walk towards the exit without her even having thought about it, though. She was heading for the doors along with Angelica and Jack still being unsure of how to procede. Should they really get back to level 6?

There was no need for giving it any further thought, though, since Melanie heard their Department Head call out their names. Finally someone who would know what to do! Having almost arrived at the exit doors Melanie took a few steps towards her left to get out of the crowd of people that were all heading for the doors, pulling Jack and Angelica with her. Her blue eyes searched for the Lorraine until she finally spotted her a few feet away from them. "Here!"Melanie shouted hoping desperately that Lorraine would be able to hear her through all the noise.

Nathan bit his lip in a nervous fashion. He really needed the learn to think before he spoke... particularly to Angelina. “I'd rather you didn't.” He replied and then winced inwardly at her next words.. or more the sarcastic tone in which they were delivered. “When you've got to go, you've got to go.” He said slightly defensively with a shrug of the shoulders. Nobody needed to know that he had been reading the paper in there for the last 30 minutes. “Of course if I'd been here and knew what was going on I wouldn't be asking you, now would I?”

He sighed as she pressed her lips together and looked at him that way. “I-interrogate is a strong word, love.” He replied. “It implies that she's done something wrong.” He pointed out to her. Well, she'd said it. Ok.. enough. Nathan had to do something constructive, rather than stand here 'chatting' to Angelina and Rico, to make up for his error. “Well I am now.” He said and shook his head. “Alright Angelina. As you're close to Reagan, I'm not going to stop you.” Merlin forbid. Nathan valued his life. He watched her disappear into the crowds and sighed. “Way to go genius.” He muttered to himself and decided to head towards the stage to see if Forrester had any orders seeing as Nicoli was nowhere to be seen.

Samantha could get a pretty good idea of what was happening on the stage, and things were just getting worse and worse! A woman unknown to her had threatened the Minister's wife, threatened her and then transfigured into a mosquito and buzzed off! This whole thing was turning into a huge mess, and she wondered if the place was secure. Who was this woman and how had she made her way towards the Minister's wife?

Wait. So, they were supposed to leave? Where exactly? Back to whichever department they worked for?

Certainly this was a total disaster, now. Why was everyone else freaking out? The one in their right mind to do so would be Clara Belle, right?

He looked at both Teal and James with a puzzle look. What were they suppose to do next? And...when will this...circus convention will be reinstated? Jack will probably find that out soon enough, anyway. For the time being, he'll stay in this place, until someone tells him to leave, or everyone leaves, whichever comes first.

Hearing Lorraine's voice calling out their names Angelica let Melanie lead her out of the queue of employees leaving the courtrooms. Still holding Melanie's hand she raised herself on tiptoes to see her department head over the nervous crowd. Joining in Melanie's call she raised her voice and waved to get the older womans attention "Lorraine! We are here!" Glancing around the room she wondered what they could help out with in the chaos.

"Oh yeah, she's Pureblood. She probably doesnt know what a phone is!" "Yeah, a phone. It's basically a piece of plastic that is connected to a wire that is connected to everyone else's plastic thing and they can all talk to each other through it if they type a number into the plastic.." "And that's how to confuse someone!" He smiled, guessing that probably really hadnt helped her at all in understanding what a phone was "My dad was actually Pureblood but he liked to use the phone to talk to my mum's family.." He had never actually spoken to any of his mum's family but his dad had constantly been on the phone to them to insult them. He had always hated muggles.

He smiled "Sleep is good. No sleep is bad!" He laughed "Unless you have so much sugar it's impossible to sleep but thats okay because you end up being so hyper you dont remember you didnt sleep" He laughed

He laughed "I cant help being sort of addicted to coffee. Well actually I think it's addicted to me and makes me want it.." He shrugged "Either way, I have bad moods without it!" He smiled "Pet peeves? When people drop paper it really really really annoys me. I dont know why. But it does." He laughed "Oh yeah and it annoys me when people empty the coffee or sugar bowl and dont refill it.. But thats probably more to do with the coffee addiction!" He laughed "What about you? Do you have any pet peeves?"

He smiled "She was a little stupid to say the least. She had actually sent me out of the room and I just hadnt gone. And she didnt notice. So I got bored of trying to get sent out again and set her on fire. It was quite amusing to watch her looking at the smoke and wondering where it was coming from." He laughed, remembering it. "And I somehow passed her lesson... I never understood why I passed" He laughed "I didnt actually work at all in her lessons."

He smiled "Well I guess I'm clever when it comes to setting fire to things..." He smiled again "Did she just kiss me..? She did! Blimey!" he blushed slightly but was still smiling.

He listened and nodded "At least she went peacefully. It must have been hard to know that she coul possibly have lived longer if she had takent he medicine but at least she got the choice not to take it and go back to your grandfather." He smiled slightly, then nodded "Yeah, I've seen people die before.. My mum died just after giving birth to me, although I'm not sure if that would enable me to see the thestrals or not because as such I didnt see it. I saw one of my best friends drown though.." He forced himself to smile again "At least it was over reasonably quickly though I guess."

Frida nodded her head, trying to understand with her jaw hanging slightly. "That's, um, interesting." She said as she moved her finger around the rim of her goblet. "So every muggle family has a bunch of...wires, haninging around to be able to talk to someone? Sounds unsafe to me actually. I suppose I'll never understand them." She paused for a moment, "Do you have one?"

"Sounds to me like you need a good sleeping draught. I've only been talking to you for a short while and already you seem to be a bit sleep deprived." 'Poor thing.'

Frida gave an evil grin and made a rather dramatic motion as she dropped a piece of parchment onto the floor, "Oops..." She said as she grinned and reached over to get it. "Just don't clobber me for that alright?" Frida told him as she laughed slightly, "Couldn't help myself. But yeah, I have a few peeves. People who are always late, unorganization, procrastinators, unreliable, selfish, egotistical, chatterbox..." She caught herself before she went into a rant. "Sorry, um, I get a bit peeved at a lot of things. Oh! And I hate when people chew with their mouth open, blah." She couldn't help but laugh a bit as she finished.

Frida smirked, "What class did she teach? I hope it wasn't one of my favorite classes, that means I might have to feel bad...maybe."

She blushed a little as well, "Um, erm, sorry. I get a little ahead of myself sometimes." Frida giggled nervously. "Not like you haven't been kissed before anyway so...yeah."
Frida glanced around the crowded room, and towards the opposite wall. 'What on Earth is going on?' She wondered, not being able to see nor hear anything.

"I really should have you visit my house now. Thestrals are a bit...odd, but they are pretty sweet. Although I haven't gotten too close to them, they don't seem very dangerous at all. More like large, black, skinny horses with wings." She listened as Blaze made a final statement. "One of your best friends drowned? I'm so sorry to hear that." 'I haven't had friends since school really.'

Lorraine blinked at the slightly shorter woman, who appeared to be watching her every move. Oh for Merlin's sake; the woman probably thought her to be an incompetent fool. Taking a deep breath, Lorraine tried to calm herself but really pieced herself together at the woman's last comment. "No. That will be all, I shouldn't need anyone from your team. Thank you," she replied sternly, watching the woman then dash off to attend to other matters. Seriously, Lorraine was a former Slytherin - last thing she wanted was someone to 'watch over her'. She could take care of herself .... right?

Not really. Hearing her two employees respond to her pleas diverted her hazel eyes over towards the two females for a moment until ... More action up at the stage. Glancing up, Lorraine blinked as she could have sworn there was something going on with the Japanese Minister. And then a hand reach up and snatch something from around the man's neck followed by a - OH NO HE DIDN'T!

An unregistered portkey. The last thing Lorraine expected to be used at a conference, especially with all the Transportation Employees present. Turning around on the spot towards Melanie and Angelica, Lorraine's hazel eyes were widened with shock. "Angelica. Melanie. Just head off if this level now and back to level six, I'll be there shortly," she told them, as she now had to discuss with Blaze first, who knew more about portkeys than she did, as her specialty lay in apparition detection.

Whirling on the spot, Lorraine's eyes scanned the crowd for Blaze, her Portkey Division Head. Finally coming to rest on him chatting with a female, her eyes narrowed on his features, as he apparently had not taken notice of the stage at all. "Blaze," she stated, marching over towards him. "We have a dilemma on our hands."

Egypt did not like being spoken to like by this woman but now was not the time nor the place for that. She scanned the crowd making sure everyone was moving up to level 8 quickly before she returned her attention back to the woman. "Yes madame of course." She said. She still had manners after all even if the woman forgot hers. She smiled at her before she returned back to Nathan.
