| | International Magical Affairs Room (Conference Room) The conference room is where the International Magical Cooperation Department holds its meetings. It is also the proper place to greet visitors from other countries who come to solve international conundrums involving non-tradable items or disputes between different magical governments.
The room is rectangular in shape and there is plenty of fluorescent artificial light on the ceiling. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Dake Juke Sixth Year | Nefertari had trouble finding the room, but after about five minutes, she'd located the Affairs room. Being new not only to England but to the job, she was still unsure of where things were and what to do. Her long scraggly hair was pulled into a high pony tail that still went to just above her waist; she walked in hurriedly, her elegant black business robes billowing slightly behind her as she came and took a seat. "I'm so sorry I'm late, Miss Matos," she began, "I had a bit of trouble finding the place." She looked across at the two men, whom she assumed were the Ministers of the French and German Magical Government. "Bonjure," she said, incling her head. "Hallo," she said turning to the German Minister and also inclining her head. She turned her attention back to Miss Matos. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Lia Taylor | Draco's Director Dramione=OTP Having given up in the search for a techie, Serena hurried into the affairs room. She slid into the nearest vacant seat, noticing that both the French and German Ministers.
"I'm so sorry I'm late, Miss Matos," she murmured, sitting up attentively. It didn't appear as though the meeting had truly started, thankfully.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Pandora de Romanus Second | Emerging from a deep thought Persephone turned to the Ministers who still hadn't loosened up. "Please bare with us Ministers," Persephone smiled awkwardly,"If we all survive this meeting, Firewhiskey is on me." I know Miss Matos will not like that, she thought, but I have to get them to calm down someway. She turned to Miss Matos and searched her face for any sign of emotion.
"Until then," Perse began looking back to the Ministers," Let's focus on a resolution."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Tahir Kovac Khatri First Year | Ama!Nabs IS NAMED MINHO & Is SO Black Panther Right Now Gregoria waved the late entrants away, well not literally but it was her silent way of discarding all worries. She was just thankful they finally arrived. Two more minutes with these testosterone packed men and she was going to start considering Gray MacTavish as a wonderful sweet-tempered gentleman.
The Ministers looked fondly at the woman promising them firewhiskey. This was someone they could easily talk to and they had temporarily forgotten their plans of being hard-headed and almost inarticulate.
"Now that we're all here I think we can officially begin this meeting," Matos announced needlessly and finally took a seat. Pulling out her wand she conjured a tea cup for everyone and a tea pot hovered around the table, filling up the cups as it went around. "We, Monsieur Tatou and Mister Muller, have several proposals for you that will benefit both of your countries."
Or so she hoped. Greg eyed her employees. They were clever folk. Surely, they had come up with several proposals by now. Scratching her cheek thoughtfully, she couldn't help but think that she needed to brush up on her German. |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Dake Juke Sixth Year | Nefertari focused her attention now, on Miss Matos. She hadn't actually had time to think of anything, but a thought did strike her. "Er..." she said, clearing her throat. "Perhaps, I could say something, Miss Mato?" she asked. She rose to her feet, clearing her throat again and addressing the two Ministers. "Ministers of Magic, I do hope you consider that perhaps it would be best for the sake of your country and your children the consequences of a fued. I am sure we are all familiar with the famed playwright, William Shakespeare, who wrote a tale of two star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. It would be a sad day if this fued brought about such a grievious outcome. "I believe embracing this union between your children, would benifit you both immensley. Imagine what you could do together; two nations united by the love of their children! There are many possibilities open for you: Trading, I am sure is one of your most favoured. Imagine what things you could discover working together and what of your children? If they are truly in love, would it not be best to let them be together? Would you really tear them apart? Ministers, I know you want the best for your children; perhaps, they have chosen what is best for them in each other. Your children are both admirable decendants and I am sure you have raised them well, well enough to know who is best for them and what is best for their country. Perhaps, this union could benifit you both if you let it." She sat down, hoping against hope that her speech hit home with the two Ministers. She glanced at Miss Matos, hoping for a sign from her Head of Department. |

| YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Lee listened to his colleague speak with utmost respect. She seemed to have put a lot of of thought into her idea and was fairly confident with it. Perhaps she should be the head of the division and not him, but then again, she was in his division. He guesses that she was placed there for a reason: because she's witty and he needs employees that are diligent in their work. Making a mental note to complement her after the meeting, and to give her a pay bonus, he stood up to address the ministers. "Good morning ministers; my name is Lee Greenfield, representing the Division of British Seats." He glanced over at Nefertari and then back at the ministers, "Miss Tsukiko offered some very wise words just now and I am compelled to agree with her." "The power of two strong nations united together is not to be underestimated. When nations cooperate with one another, they can accomplish much more than acting alone. Did you ever try to play a game of wizard chess alone? Or how about exploding snaps?"
"I thought not. Playing a game like either of those two alone is like trying to trade with another country, but that country refuses to play back. You cannot have a one-sided trade, because no one will truly benefit from that. Compromise is what makes countries strong."
Lee took a deep breath and sip of water, "You know what else? I bet your children knew this. Not only did they find companionship in one another, but they knew that by eloping, it would bring their respective countries closer in the end. All they wanted to do was to make their country the best, but they cannot do this alone. They need your support. Embrace their courtship and you shall both reap the benefits."
Before resuming his seat, he closed with one last comment, "Any further questions from you two ministers? Let us discuss now." He straightened his papers in front of him, as he waited for the minister to talk.
