| | Guest Book and Memory Penseive As you arrive by Floo, Portkey, or any other mode of transportation, be sure to stop at the podium where the guest book lays with a beautifully ornate, pearl-encrusted peacock feather quill in the crease. Purple ink has been provided, so sign your name in the book to let the bride and groom know you were in attendance!
Also, be sure to leave a fond memory of you and the Minister and/or his bride, Ms. Belle, in the penseive which sits beside the guest book on the podium. If you do one without the other, you can bet that the Minister and Ms. Belle would be quite upset and you definitely won't be receiving a thank you note! And if they're upset enough, you may want to be concerned about your job... but no worries! Because you're all going to leave a lovely memory for the Minister and Ms. Belle, right? |

Hogwarts RPG Name: Katrina Adelia Devereux First Year | Gabriella picked up the quill, dipped in the purple ink and carefully signed her name- Gabriella Kayla Doucette. She walked over to the pensieve and wondered for a while what memory she could add. She'd had a meeting with the Minister when she'd applied to work in the Ministry, but that hadn't been anything special. After thinking, she settled on a very old memory-
Gabriella, only seven years old, was on her first vist to the Ministry with her father. She stared around in awe at the immense Atrium, clinging to her father's hand as he talked to someone. Attracted especially to the fountain in the middle, she let go and went over to it, dipping her hand in the water. Her father, walking to the lifts, called her, and Gabriella went off after him. Swept into a lift, she realized that she was alone with a crowd of strangers. Confused, she got out on the first stop- a mostly deserted, quiet floor. She started wandering around, completely lost, and unable to find her father, she did what any child would do- she started crying. As she stood sobbing, she heard a kindly voice say," What are you doing here, dear?" Looking up, she saw man who looked somewhere in his mid-twenties smiling down at her. She wiped away her tears and stammered," I-I'm lost." "What's your name?" he asked. "Gabriella D-Doucette ," she said. "Doucette.... is your father Samuel Doucette?" Gabriella nodded. "All right then, he should be down at the Magical Games and Sports Department.... come on, let's take you backto your daddy," the man said, holding out his hand to her. Gabriella shyly took it and went along with him to the lifts. Just as they reached them, her father came out of the lift nearest to them, eyes wild with worry. "Gabriella!" he said, in a relieved voice, picking up his daughter and hugging her. Putting her down, he said sternly,"Don't ever do that again! Do you know how worried I was?" He turned to the man next to her and said," I'm so sorry, Mr. Cooper. I really don't know what she was thinking-" "It's not a problem, Doucette, it could happen to any child. Anyway, I have to get to the Minister now. Goodbye." As Gabriella and her father went into the lifts, Gabriella asked," Daddy, who was he?" "That's Brennan Cooper, Head of the Auror Deparment. People think he might be the next Minister of Magic," er father replied. "Oh....he's nice," said Gabriella.
That memory had stayed with her for a long time, and it'd always reminded her that even though Minister Cooper had a very businesslike personality, he really was very kind inside. She put her wand to her head, drew out the silver strand of memory and let it go to swirl around with the others. Smiling, she made her way down to the ceremony seating area. |

| Feathery Thingywhatsit | BookSnake Jacob wandered over to the guest book and memory penseive, hands in his pockets. He removed the attractive quill and dipped it in the purple ink, almost reverently. Jacob was fast becoming partial to the color purple. He placed the quill on the page and recorded his name as neatly as he could: Jacob Spyro Webster
Now for a memory...Jacob had not been fortunate enough to meet either the Minister or his bride, but he could recall a memory from when he lived in Greece. For the second time that day, he took his wand from his pocket and touched his temple, then dropped the silver memory into the penseive: Jacob was thirteen years old, and living in Greece with his family. He held the Daily Prophet in his hands, reading the main article with a sort of intensity. It was about Brennan Cooper, the British Minister of Magic, and all that he was doing for England and other countries. Much of what was said about him went over Jacob's head. However, Jacob could only feel awe and admiration for this man, the man who could interact with countries on a daily basis and help make the world a better place.
Jacob grimaced a bit at the memory. It was too...young, in his opinion, but try as he might Jacob could think up no better memory. |

Hayley walked over to the guestbook and signed it with Hayley Lorraine Ice.
A memory? Well she did have one. It was about a year ago. The minister had told her how she could get a job at the ministry. She had been a brilliant student, and he wanted her at the ministry. She remembered that she couldn't have been happier. |

| YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Lorraine wasn't sure what happened to Teal as he seemed to have become rather involved in the gifts. Not that it bothered her much, but she did want to get to leave a comment in the guestbook and a memory in the penseive before it was too late. While she loved the color purple, too much of it was actually making her cringe slightly. But at least it wasn't pink.
Picking up the fancy quill, she looked for an open spot on the page where she signed her name: Lorraine Jade Brothmeister
Department Head of Magical Transportation Setting the quill back down on podium, she glanced over her signature briefly. She wrote her middle name but wasn't entirely sure why: she never included that on anything. Ah well, special occasions call for special measures...
Shaking her head subtly she then noticed the penseive that was next to the guestbook. A fond memory of her with the groom and bride? Sadly she didn't know too much about Clara other than she was chief editor for the daily prophet... Right. Memory. Knowing what she needed to do, she opened up her small handbag where she withdrew her wand for the second time that evening. Placing the tip to her temple she withdrew a silvery strand and let it drift into the penseive, where she swirled it around and then peeked in to review her memory: It had started out as just an ordinary day, but quickly turned extraordinary. As with any day, the 31-year old brunette was wearing her usually pin that indicated division head for the apparition test center. Apparition was her specialty, having tested both the young and old for the past 11 years. But today was different; Minister Cooper had sent her a memo requesting an urgent visit by her in his office. Walking solemnly to Level 1, she couldn't help but feel extremely anxious that the minister would want to speak with her directly! This was all too strange.
When she arrived at the Minister's office, she was convinced she was getting fired. She was quite surprised to find that he wasn't the only one there but Clara Belle was there with her quick quotes quill. Oh no - she'd never be able to get a job anywhere ever again if this was in the Daily Prophet! A disappointment. But oddly enough, him and Belle were both smiling. And then he announced the words that any workaholic would die to hear: Lorraine was being made the new Department Head of Magical Transportation! A day that would surely be remembered in her eyes forever - and a moment to remember talking with the Minister about.
Lorraine nodded at the memory she had left for the soon-to-be married couple, because little did she know that the ceremony had already happened. Not that she was disappointed of course. But either way, she couldn't be happier for the minister and Clara, wishing them nothing but the best before she turned to head into the seating area. Teal would catch up.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Edeline Gabrielle Redford Fifth Year | The Magic 'N Me Parker was very happy to see there was still time for her to sign her name in the very fancy and beautiful guest book and leave a memory in the penseive. She couldn't help but wonder what memory she could leave.
As she thought about that, she turned to an empty page and signed her name in her very different swrily cursive hand writing : Miss Parker Elizabeth Grey She had a memory and yet it wasn't a very happy one to say the least. But then again it was one of the only memories she could find with the Minister in it. Glancing back over at her signature she noticed for some reason she left her middle name. Which was odd but then again she really honestly didn't mind that so much. She placed the quill gently back on the podium.
Moving over to the penseive, she groaned lightly. Since she was almost certain that the memory she had chosen wasn't the best to say the least. But that was the only real solid memory she could think of that included the Minister. She hopped that it wouldn't ruin the happy mood that filled the place. Pulling her wand out of her bag, she placed the tip to her temple and carefully pulled out a long silver strand and quickly placed in the penseive. She gently swirled the memory and took a small peek and reviewed it.
The rain poured down on the small crowed who hid underneath many umbrellas. All except for one, a young Parker would was barely nineteen stood in the pouring rain. The all listened the elderly priest as he said fond and kind words about Mr. Tom Grey. She sighed as she thought about all the memories she had of her father. Who was now being laid to rest for all eternity. Silent tears fell down her face as the funeral came to an end and as everyone paid their final respects.
She noticed the rain was no longer pounding down on her. Her eyes eventuated upwards and noticed an umbrella was covering her durance head. Parker turned herself around and noticed Minster Brennan Cooper standing before her with a solemn face. "I'm very sorry for your loss, Miss Grey." he said softly. She gave him a sad smile before speaking "Thank you Minister." she thanked softly with politeness and respect. "Your father was an excellent man and very stronger worker." The Minister said again leaving Parker slightly confused as to why he was talking about her father's career. "I'm sure he was. Though he never talked about he's job." she mention softly as her eyes landed on her very uncomfortable black heels. "Miss Grey, I'm here to ask you if you would like your father's former job ?" the Minister asked in a very respectfully tone. She couldn't help but feel that her job at the Prophet was leading no where and the pay was terrible.
"I accept your job offer, Minster." she finally said after much though. She couldn't help but wonder still if she was making the right choice. "Very well and I'm very sorry for your loss." he said calmly as he gave her a quick smile before Turing and leave the funeral. She simply nodded and walked over to her mother and been who we're waiting for her.
Parker sighed softly and sadly to herself as the memory finished. It was a rather pathetic memory but that was all she truly had. She hopped the Minister and Clara wouldn't mind how depressing the memory was. She gave once last glance over to penseive, before heading into the reception hall.
