Oceana walked up to the table in her hand was a gold clock that chimed the sound of tiny bells and a set of top of the range quils for the minister, as Oceana was walking to the table she wondered what this weddding would be like, as she approached the table she saw all the gifts that had already been dropped off and wondered if she had bought the right thing, she had wrapped them up in lilac paper and a dark purple bow on top she looked up at the security and said "here is the present i have for the bride and groom do i leave it here with you?"

Bearing all this in mind, Nicoli's reply was definite, "Perhaps, if the evident hate between the two couples is really that strong...But I'm more worried about everything else. The dark wizards after the minister, and the drones of creatures that detest Miss Clara Belle because of the Prophet." He grimaced slightly, "There might even be ministry workers that will cause trouble."

Apha nodded at DeJa'n as she entered, before turning back to Nicoli as she attempted to digest what he'd just said, her mind working for a long moment. Could it be possible someone was under outside influence or the Polyjuice Potion? She frowned, before a thought came to her.

'Is zere anyway a Thief's Downfall could be set up before ze guests leave, to remove magical enchantments?' she asked, still thinking whether it could be done before the ceremony was over; having never even attempted it hersel, she had no clue as to whether or not it could be set up in such time.

Syd walked over to the gift table and set down an envelope. It was a nice shade of purple with scripty black writing on the front and contents of a couple of gift checks for a magical travel company. Mostly to extend the honeymoon so that work could go a little smoother without the Minister being around.

He saw Nicoli chatting to a fellow security member and walked over, "Evening Vanhattck. Miss Ajuila."

DeJa'n looked towards the direction Nicoli was faced. Definately a place of entry...she thought to herself. There must be other places that might have been over-looked, other places trouble might enter.

She turned to Nicoli. "Sorry to be blunt, but if the minister and Miss Belle new all the things that could go wrong, why did they go ahead and continue with the wedding? I mean, they could have still held a small private wedding instead of risking being attacked or something. Having gone ahead with the wedding didn't seem like the smart thing to do."

DeJa'n shivered at the thought of Dark magic and the people that might be influenced by it. She glanced back at the place Nicoli was still looking at.

"If there is one place that an intruder can enter there must be another," DeJa'n voiced her worry.

Nicoli was impressed by Apha's knowledge. He thought for a moment, wondering whether it was even possible. "I don't think I have the power to answer that question, to be honest. Not to mention it's rather difficult magic to perform," he said, out of the corner of his eye noticing Syd walking up to them. "But here's someone who may have that power," he said quickly before the man arrived.

Nicoli inclined his head slightly in a way that was unusual of anyone. "Good Evening, sir. Are you enjoying yourself?" he said smiling slightly. He wasn't even completely sure he'd seen the Head all through the ceremony, well, until now. Perhaps he'd decided to act as a guest for security reasons?

Nicoli smirked, "You haven't read Miss-uh-Mrs...former Miss Belle's articles have you? She's a little... extravagant." After a moment of thought, he added without much enthusiasm, "Plus, they have us to protect them." Nicoli nodded, "There should be..." he said. "Maybe we should be looking out for them as we patrol..."

Lola strolled over to the gift table. She was surprised to see the large number of presents, but on second thought, she should have expected it. After all, this was the Minister's wedding. She tried to walk over quietly, but her shoes made loud noises on the hard floor. Nevertheless, she reached the table and put her present, wrapped in silver and blue paper, on it.

She turned to the security, explaining the contents. "I just got them a small kettle." She pointed to the small parcel laying on the table. Leaning in closer, she asked, "That's enough, right? I didn't need to get something more... extravagant?" Looking around the event, it seemed as if she should have gotten something crystal or something made in a precious metal.

With growing interest as to what exactly all those things were piled on the table, Jacob walked over and found himself at the edge of a huge spread of gifts. Finally, he could get rid of the box he had been carrying around with him.

Jacob place the neatly wrapped box on the table. It was covered in purple paper and accented with a glittery black ribbon. He found the nearest security personnel and recounted the contents: a maple box inlaid with an ivory phoenix. The ivory would change colors, from its natural white to yellow to orange to red and back again. It was the best Jacob could do, with the limited spending money he had - hopefully, now that he had a job again, that would change.

"I'm having a... decent time," he said, looking around. "I was out front for a bit and I figured I'd come and drop off my gift here."

He looked at the table of various wrapped gifts. The sizes ranged from huge to tiny, all wrapped in the forced colors. Syd smoothed back his hair and gave Nicoli a pat on the shoulder.

"I'm going to be so glad once this is over. I'd start bettin' on how long it'll take for a divorce, but I figure we can wait fer that. It'd be in bad taste to do it now," he whispered and chuckled.

Apha turned at the sound of her name, and smiled and nodded. 'Good evening,' she replied, brushing her hair behind her ear. He looked somewhat familiar, and Apha found it hard to place him for a moment. She was no good with placing names and faces together.

She fought back a smile at DeJa'n, remembering the few articles she'd read of Clara's. Not the nicest things to read sometimes, she thought, before glancing warily around the room at DeJa'n's next statement. Her eyes skimmed each wall quickly before coming to rest back on Nicoli as he spoke again.

Apha nodded, thinking of the complex enchantment. She looked back at the man who approached, the name and face finally clicking. Of course! The department head! She cursed herself for not realising earlier.

She glanced around again, her green eyes scanning the walls but not noticing any most ways for someone to get in. Dropping her arms from their current crossed position on her chest, she chewed on her lip.

Hayley got her present and put it on the table.

"There, that should do it." Hayley said to herself.

Nicoli nodded at the guest and shrugged, "I guess," he said cheerily. Turning back to his boss Nicoli listened to the next few moments of speech. Nicoli chuckled slightly, "I'd say about a month," he whispered back at his boss. Nicoli glanced at Apha, so then she'd agreed with him. Hopefully nothing was going to go wrong. Nothing, nothing, nothing, Nicoli chanted trying to make the words true by sheer force of will.

Having not been concentrating on Syd, Nicoli or DeJa'n, instead letting her eyes skim around the room, taking in as many details as she could, Apha didn't understand why Nicoli threw a glance in her direction as her eyes came back to him.

She let it slide, however. 'What do you want us to do?' she asked, meaning DeJa'n and herself. They couldn't exactly stand around talking all day. Besides, she was eager to start doing whatever she could - so long as it kept her away from the Minister and his new wife.

Theo headed towards the gift table. He didn't even know what his gift was. The wife had bought it. He just wrote his name on the bottom of the label. At least it made Cooper, hopefully, think he had made an effort.

He placed down the little box on the table (weird dancing lady ornament thing). And then began to walk away. Maybe he would see Lorraine around here. He needed to talk to her about Brooms.

Parker walked quietly over to the gift table and was rather surprised as to how large the entire tabled was. She couldn't really believe the minister and he's bride really need that many gifts. But then again it was their wedding and not her's.

She gently placed the large black box with a silver ribbon around the outside, that was topped with a neat silver bow. She had gone simply with the wrapping paper, since the expensive crystal vase inside was surely enough. She quickly straightened the card which read in swirly cursive writing

She smiled happily as she straightened the card one last time. She hopped they would like her present since she spent a week of her life trying to find it. Yawing softly, she left to gift area since she still had a other things to do before she could enjoy the reception.
