Catch one of the bank of 12 Elevators to any of the other departments in the Ministry. Watch out for the flying memo's as you enter the lifts though.

Mindy walked briskly from the fireplace she'd come in from to the elevators. She was trying to get the dust off her robes, and it was proving difficult.

Once she'd secured an elevator to herself, Mindy pulled out her wand. After doing a quick charm on herself, Mindy stuffed it back into her pocket. She was now completely dust free.

When the elevator reached second floor, a few paper airplane memos flew in, but no people got on. At third floor, Mindy got off, and a one of the planes zoomed out in front of her. Whistling a nondescript tune, Mindy made her way into the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastropes.

Ivan stepped into the elevator. He'd cleaned off his robes, except for the stubborn ink stain, after getting his desk back in order. A smudge of dust ran across his sweaty forehead and into his hairline. Ivan made way for others getting on or off, silently recounting what he'd learned in the department meeting until the elevator arrived at the lobby.

So engaged with the subject of the meeting was Ivan that he almost forgot to get off. It was just as the doors were creaking closed again that Ivan realized where he was and managed to shoved his hand through the opening and arrest the doors' movement.The doors stubbornly resisted this intereference with their normal operation. Wrestling with the machinery, Ivan eventually clawed his way through the opening. The doors clanged shut together behind him with an offended air.

Ivan stumbled foward and nearly fell into a group of people. "Oh, pardon me!" He let go on a strange woman's arm, backed away and straightened his robes and adjusted his tie. No worries. Nothing to look at here. He rolled back and shoulders and marched off with what dignity he could muster.

Rosabella stepped cooly into the elevator, flaunting a new pair of black puple high-heels to match her dark purple work robes. Yawning she pressed a few buttons to take her to the second floor while running a hand through her dark, wavy hair.

Marissa exited the lift at the Atrium. Several memos were flying excitedly overhead. She resisted the overwhelming urge to stun them, they got on her nerves. Her canary yellow robes flowed as she briskly walked towards the Cafeteria.

Marius stepped onto the elevator to take him down to the cafeteria. His eyes stared ahead as flying memos entered and exited the opening doors. He knew that eventually one of the memos would be for him and his department but for now, he needed something to pick up the speed.

Tiaan looked ath the Man, "are you getting where you need to go?" he asked in a shy tone, "i'm here to help you get where you need to go or help at all." he smiled sheepisly at the man and kept to the corner he was in.

Marius stepped onto the elevator once more to return to his department. He was full of pumpkin juice and welcomed the small break that was given to him.

Once on the floor he needed, Level 3, he quietly stepped off and headed towards his office to finish his paperwork.

Marissa Griff scurried over to the elevators, knowing that she was running a little late. It was highly unlike her, a boy had messed up her concentration. She pressed the up button, and waited nervously. Once the doors opened, she quickly pressed the button for Level 3 and tried as hard as possible to ignore the fluttering memos overhead. They reminded her of the time her family went Muggle camping, and moths fluttered by the electric lights. Marissa let out a slight shudder at the memory of that week. The elevator arrived at Level 3 and she scurried off to her desk.

Jack walked at a nice, leisurely pace back to the elevators. No hurry. He had a piece of chocolate cake in one hand and a soccer ball key chain in the other. He hit the up button and got off at level seven. It was time to go where he actually belonged. Finally. A lot of fun that would be.

Emma-Lee, the fairly fresh from Hogwarts graduate, walked briskly and with a purpose, heading towards an elevator, without looking at any of the people around her. She put a small smile on her face and wanted quickly to get out of the lobby and up to work. She pushed the elevator button and waited for one to arrive. As she did so, she sighed and decided to be somewhat social, if anyone around her chose to notice her, that was. Afterall, she was barely 20 years old, only having her birthday the previous fortnight, and all through her schooling years no one seemed to notice her until Care of Magical Creatures class, and only then did they notice her too try and get homework help. She sighed, what a pathetic social life she had had in school, but she didn't really care all the much, afterall, animals were much more better company.

She gasped a bit as she realized her foot had been tapping from the impatience of waiting for an elevator, she didn't need anything to draw attention to herself, what would she do about it if it did? She had just begun to worry about that question when the doors opened to reveal and empty elevator, which she quickly stepped into and hit the glowing "4" next to the door and waited in the corner for it to start moving. Moments later, she was at Level 4 and exited the elevator, time to start work.

Ivan scratched his head, nose in a file as he awaited an elevator for the third time. He kept missing it because he was't paying attention. Leaning against the wall, Ivan looked up. His eyes were slightly unfocused as he thought about what he was reading. A quiet 'ping..ping..ping' sound indicated the elevator was once again descending.

Trism cam running across the atrium trying to catch a elevator on his way back down to the Department of Mysteries. His search for Ivan had been a catastrophe. He hadn't found him anywhere. What he was going to do with that extra tuna fish sandwich was beyond him. Guess I'll have tuna fish for dinner. And I was looking forward to that left over cheese spread. He skidded to a halt hearing a ping ping ping noise. "Oye! Grab that elevator!"

Luriken stepped off the elevator and smiled at his fellow Ministry workers "Hey guys, Trism, Ivan. Anything new? I read about a lady who's cat changes colour."

The elevator doors opened and Ivan continued to stare unblinkingly before him. Then a voice was shouting in his ear. Ivan's head swivled around to find a tow-headed man in green robes dashing towards him and shouting about doors. T-something....Tristan? No, Trism! Huh? Doors? Oh, elevator! Right! Ivan whipped around in time to find the doors slamming together just inches from his nose.

Completing the circle, Ivan turned once more to face the young man from the Department of Mysteries. "Oh..sorry, mate."

"Oh poo! Now I'm going to be lat- IVAN! I've been looking all over for you." He clapped Ivan on the back with a friendly hand. "Tuna fish day remember?" He blinked and looked up. " Hey Luriken. Color changing cat you say? That can't be certified. Hey Ivan, seeing as I'm already going to be late, join me in tearring these up won't you? I promise there's no cookies today."

Ivan looked at the ceiling. There was nothing there that he could see. Who is Luriken? And Then Trisum was going on - to Ivan this time (or so he hoped) - about eating some sandwiches. "Um...sure." Ivan answered, uncertain. And then a sandwich was thrust into his hand. Ivan looked down. Does he want to eat this here? No, surely not. Ivan looked up, "Want to join me in the Obliviator breakroom for lunch?"

"That sounds wonderful. Do you guys have a pop machine or even better, a coffee pot? I would kill for some java. Oh look - elevator's available." He stuck a hand into the elevator to stop it from leaving. "Quickly. Quickly!" He motioned for him to join him. He waved at Luriken as he walked off.

Eyes wide with alarm, Ivan leapt into the elevator behind Trism. The doors slammed shut and Trism reached past Ivan to push the button before jumping into another subject. Ivan blinked. Trism was a chatty, swirling vortex of energy and Ivan was now inside Trism's forcefield. He realized he liked the guy and this might be the makings of a new friendship. Ivan was naturally drawn to people quite different from himself. So as Trism chatted, Ivan stood there, holding his tuna sandwich with a goofy grin on his face, highly entertained.

Nevarna walked into the elevator lobby from the Atrium in which she had just apparated to. She tapped her foot as she waited a few minutes for an elevator. It opened the grills and she stepped inside, a few memos joining her. She pressed the level 4 button with her wand and immediately it went up.

Then the grills slid open once again and she stepped out, her turquiose robes swishing in the motion.

The elevator stopped and Trism held the doors open for Ivan to get off. "Ok - it was," He turned in a small circle looking around to get his barrings. "That way!" He pointed with the hand holding his lunch bag and then with a very high step into the air started down the hallway not bothering to look back and make sure that Ivan was still with him.

Shylo walked briskly along the corridor, and stepped into the elevator. She was wearing a pencil skirt and shirt, her black glasses propped upon her nose. Although a very beautiful woman, Shylo tended to be quiet, and hid her beauty behind it. Her dark hair was scraped back into a bun and her cheeks were pink.

Pressing the button for the 6th floor, Shylo waited for the elevator to go

Arianna entered the first elevator she spotted, which full of nothing but memos. She leaned against a wall as she pressed the button for her department, hoping she would live to see another day since she was nothing but really late by now. She looked at the elevator's doors as it closed and later opened to reveal her workplace. With a sigh, she walked out of that closed space.
