Rico beamed at Tonya as he shook her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Springs. I'm Rico Serio....are you new to this division?"

Tonya shook his hand and smiled, "Yes I am. Please call me T.A. or Tonya. Mr Serio." she said loking around the office. "My this is small and homely." she said with a smile.

"Tonya, please call me Rico," he replied. "Homely...hmm, that's the polite way to describe it," he said with a cocked eyebrow. "Me, I would just say, 'Gee, what a bunch of small, gray cubicles,'" he joked, grinning. "But you must have an eye for design...." he trailed off, still smiling.

Emma walked to the right side of the room, barely noticing the woman that had come up to Mr Serio's office... No, no, Rico's office, she admonished herself. She was too excited by the prospective of setting up shop. If the woman was another employee of the office, she'd have ample time to meet and greet her properly at another given moment.

Nearby, she found a cubicle that had been decorated. This was probably Ms Peters corner by the window. Emma elected to take the cubicle right next to that one, which had a view through the window too. She grinned at the window, enjoying the magical 'view' that was offered here.

Getting back to business, she emptied her pouch and box, settling her different knick-knacks, family picture, muggle pens and pencils, parchment and so on. She finally added a lovely crystal bowl on the corner of her new desk, adding a bagful of assorted candies and chocolates wrapped in colourful tinfoil. When she worked, she would sometimes forgo meals to finish what she was doing. If she felt hungry, she would automatically dip her hand in the bowl and fish something to eat in the meantime. It was a bad habit of hers, her mother had endlessly prodded about it, but it couldn't be helped. She was a workaholic at times.

Emma eyed her new setting but was a bit underwhelmed by what she saw. The grey walls of the cubicle were too drab for her taste. Taking her wand out, she charmed the dividing walls to a nice steel blue hue. It complemented the grey of rest of the office, but personalized her own space with minimal fuss and bother. If Mr Serio... Rico didn't approve, she would simply change it back to its original colour. With that done, she decided to explore the rest of the office and familiarize herself with all that surrounded her.

A tall blond woman with multie color streaks in her hair walked over to the divsion head"Uh, hello,sir, I'm new and I was wondering what i am supposed to do" Cloe black's hair was op in rocker pigtails and she was wearing a jean cloak which was wrapped tightly around her.

Rico then turned to face another employee. He smiled at the woman with multi-colored hair and introduced himself. "Hello ma'am, I'm Rico Serio," he extended a hand for her to shake. "I was about to go speak to our Department Head regarding something, so why don't you choose a cubicle and make yourself at home?"

Tonya Anne laughed at the remark, "Nice to be working with you Rico." she relied, "It was the onlything I could think of for this place. It just needs some color. Grey is such a depressing color." she added with a smile.

"That's true…" Rico replied, looking around. "Okay, well, I really must go speak with the boss now, so just pick a cubicle and you'll have an assignment soon." He smiled gently at her and held open the door to his office, signaling that he needed to leave. Enrico was tempted to look at his watch, but that would be rude…and it wasn't like he had a specific meeting time or anything.

Tonya Anne smiled, "It was nice meeting you." she said walking out of the office. She turned as she exited, "Enjoy your meeting." she added with a smile. She walked out into the small office and picked a cubicle. She pulled her wand out of her bag and tapped the small cublicle wall. It turned a light pink color. She then pulled a picture of her vacation in the U.S. with her brother out of her bag and placed it in the corner. She looked at it and sighed and continued to arrange her desk.

Rico nodded curtly to Tonya and followed her out of his office, locking the door behind him. Finally, meeting time.

Tonya Anne meandered around her desk for a few more moments. She then turned and walked around the office aimlessly bored hoping to get an assignment soon. After wandering around the office she decided to go get some tes from the break room. She turned and headed out of the office.

Having meandered enough through the endless cubicles, having a look-see at the smallish library of international standards practises and the less-than impressive stock-room, Emma headed out of the office. She quietly closed the door behind her and headed for the lifts. She had a general idea where her friend worked, so she might as well get acquainted with the Ministries layout.

Cloe shook his hand. "I'm Cloe Black" Wow...
"Okay", Cloe walked over to the cubicle across fromm Rico's office and walked in gracefully. She took her dragon skin briefcase full of pictures of her family and began to decorate the room. Soon she came to a picture frame that contained the picture of two twin young boys named Derek and Jake. They were her nephews. She picked up the picture gently and set it on the desk. The way she set it down and the way she moved around made her look so fragile. But, honestly, no one really knew the real her.

Rico strolled back into the division after his little break and let himself into his office, leaving the door open. He dropped the load of papers on his desk and settled into his swirly chair, leaning back with his tanned hands resting behind his head. He had to finish a few things for that Quibbler mission, and he still wanted to find more information about the countries involved.

With a sigh, Rico sat back up and scooted towards the desk. He studied his list of employees, and came to a decision. He glanced at the list one more time and then wandered out of his office and into the division's cubicle zone.

He glanced about, trying to find Emma's desk. "Er....Miss Brown?" he asked the general division, wondering if she had stepped out or if he was just lost in his own office. He spotted Cloe Black setting up her cubicle, but didn't seen Susan, Tonya, or anyone else. "Has anyone seen Emma Brown?" he asked generally, his voice easily filling the small division.

Tpnya waked back into the office and made her way over to her cubicle smiling as she sat down. She enjoyed her break and looked around the office to see if anyone she knew was there.

Emma entered the office again, having lost herself as she tried to find her friend. She'd ask a more knowledgeable employee later on about it. She closed the door and suddenly heard her new boss's voice, which seemed to be looking for her. She grinned to herself and wondered if he had something for her to do. Grabbing her pen and note pad from her pocket, she followed the voice and eventually found Rico.

"Are you looking for me?" she called as she came up behind him, the thick grey carpeting muffling any possible sounds her steps might have made.
With pen and paper, she waited for him to turn around, a subtle grin on her face.

Rico spun sharply around as Emma seemed to pop up from nowhere. He blinked in surprise, clearing not having heard her approach, and then smiled.

"Why yes, Ms. Brown, I was looking for you," he said with a tilt of the head, "and alas I have found you!" He noted her Muggle pen and paper, always at the ready, and smiled to think she was perfect for this assignment.

"Well then, why don't you follow me into my office so I can let you know what's going on," Rico said after a pause. He spun around again and smoothly led the way into his little cubicle, leaving the door open for her.

Tonya smiled at Rico as he walked past her to his little office with one of her fellow employees then continued to look around the office.

Emma followed her boss to his office, walking calmly behind him. She smiled at the girl that they passed by as they went along, making a mental note to ask her name when she would pass by again.

She entered Rico's office and came to stand in front of his desk. She wondered if she should take a seat for this briefing, but decided to wait upon being invited to do so by her superior. And so she waited for him to start the meeting in earnest, only too happy to have something to do for real.

Rico winked at Tonya as he walked by, and waited for Emma to enter. He shut the door and indicated that she should take a seat in front of his little desk while he himself scooted into the rolley chair.

"Miss Brown, I don't know how familiar you are with The Quibbler magazine," he started, "but they seem to have brought a strange matter to our attention."

Rico swiveled the chair around to grab the magazine, then turned back around and pushed it across the desk so that she could see the headline, which read 'International Scandal: Mixed-Breed Monsters!'

Tonya smiled as Rico winked at her and turned in her chair as she watched the girl follow him into the office. She then turned back to her desk and shuffled through some papers.

Emma took a seat as Rico indicated, listening to what he was saying. Her left brow rose as she stretched her hand across the desk to take the magazine. She stared at the headline for a moment, a slight moue of disbelief coming to her face.

"Well, this is an interesting title, but we are talking about the Quibbler. They have a tendency of printing many flights of fancy on the part of the editor. Though their games are quite amusing on the most part. Should we be taking this seriously? Mixed-breed Monsters!?" she asked seriously. The Quibbler wasn't her cup of tea, but they did have a few articles in the past that had been more than interesting. Emma still remembered the interview that Harry Potter had given some time ago, and the information within had been verified with time.

Rico was amused at Emma's reaction; it was to be expected, and indeed, she hadn't disappointed him in the least. If she had taken the headline in stride or - well, embraced it, then he would be worried.

But instead he leaned back in his chair and clasped his hands behind his head before speaking.

"Your points are valid, Ms. Brown," Rico responded finally. "And apparently, I've found many of our coworkers agree with you." He frowned slightly, then continued. "Yet, we have had reports of sightings of these animals - they seem to be a cross between a demiguise and a lethifold....and they seem to be attacking innocent bystanders, both wizard and Muggle."

He paused to grab his notes from the meeting and glanced at them briefly. "Regardless, your task will be to investigate the source of this story, at Quibbler headquarters, and find out whether or not we should be worried." Enrico smiled gently and sat up in his chair.

Cloe Black sat down in a chair in the cubicle. She wasn't shure what to do so she took out her wand and began changing her hair different colors with the multi-color streaks in tact.

Emma's jaw dropped as she heard what beast could be involved in this story. Remembering that she was before her boss, her jaw snapped back up with a soft 'clomp', before sitting back in her chair. This was indeed a potential nightmare.

She asked shrewdly, "Have we ever gotten any inkling of these attacks from St-Mungos? Surely they would advise the Ministry of these occurrences? I would imagine that the victims, if there be any, would need some kind of medical attention?" She squared her stare upon Rico, hopefully he would know or at least have asked if anything of the sort had happened in the past; reports of odd injuries, maladies that are unexplainable and such. Emma would research that field of questionning if need be.
