Laura nodded at Helena and jotted that point and looked up at Eteria if that point could be added too.

"Comparing experiences? Fabulous idea ladies!" Eteria grinned at her co-workers while making some notes on what they were discussing. "I for one am very interested to see what they say about the Hogwarts curriculum. They've got experience in the home school and they have experience at Hogwarts so comparing and contrasting the two would be great for our purposes." She kept jotting down little notes as she was talking. She was also trying to think of another thing they could ask. "Now when we're talking about comparing, I think we should ask more about the education at Hogwarts compared to the education at the other schools instead of asking about student life and such things. We should ask them about professors and coursework."

"Yes, Definately. And maybe also How the school's in comparason are run, like with Curfews and how the classes differ... We could possibly ask the students in question about mutual classes, like Potions and Charms - Which are both core subjects at all three school - and how they are different / better." Helena continued to make notes on everything that was being said, and then looked around at the rest of her co-workers, wondering why they were being so quiet.

Laura nodded in agreement and was thinking about what other things they could ask
"hm...apart from that i think we should have this survey in a form of interview rather than going to Hogwarts and gving them a questionaire...cause...we will be able to know them better while interacting rather than you know giving them kind of a questionaire...because basically everything will deal with comparison between the schools and their curriculum. so i think the mode of survey should be interactive" suggested Laura.

"Now THAT is a great idea. Actually interviewing the students at Hogwarts. If we could get them to let us go in and do that, I think it would be VERY beneficial to our task." Eteria made a mental note to discuss that aspect with the other Heads. "Okay guys we've came up with some great ideas. Now I need you to put these all into a survey/interview type deal and send them to me."

Helena grinned at her co-worker. Laura was a genious. "Ok...." She said simply, glad to be getting this issure out of the way. She exused herself and made her way back to her cubicle to get the work sorted out in an interview format.

Once she got back into the cubicle, she took out some of her fancier parchment, and threw her notes on to the desk. Deciding that she didn't want glitter all over the work, she took out a simple eagle feather quill and began to write...

Hogwarts Transfer Issues...

Erik got up and saw a group of girls discussing the survey. He walked up to one, Helena, if Erik is right.
"Uh...I'm new and I am completely lost!" Erik said. "Can you please give me a boost or something?"

Helena looked up at the newer Employee, "Hello Erik." She gave him a reasurring smile. "Of course. I've only been an employee here a few weeks. You'll quicky fit in." She neatened her papers and then had a thought.

She took out her wand and muttered a spell "geminio. There, Thats a copy of the notes I made during the meeting. Theres everything we discussed there. Feel free to use them." She said kindly as she handed him the small pile of parchment (ooc - pages 7 and 8 of this thread (: ).

"Now, Basically what We have to do is all come up with an interview, nothing too complecated of course; It is just for the students of course. " She carried on, trying to be as helpful as possible. The poor bloke looked completely lost as the women had spoke to each other rapidly, as if they were swapping gossip. "I think about 10 questions would be plenty... 15 tops. You can use those notes to help you come up with the questions.

"Eteria will be expecting us to come up with the obvious questions, but she will also be hoping that we will come up with some lesser thought of questions to ask the students too. I think she wants to make Jacob proud of his employees. Once you've finished your questions, hand them into Eteria (ooc = PM the questions to Si) and she will take it from there." She made it seem as simple as possible.

"Is that OK?" She asked him once she had finished.

Laura blushed slightly as Eteria accepted her idea and looked at Helena and saw her smiling. she smiled back at her and returned her smile. she excused herself as she saw Helena helping the new employee Erik. she smiled at him and gave small nod and left the room towards her cublicle.

she walked back feeling elated. she started to like her job. but this is just the begining and a lot more has to be done. she was happy that she was getting along well with her collegues. she sat down and looked at the notes that she took down during this meeting and during the meeting in the conference room and began working on a rough draft...

Helena made it crystal clear. This is just what he needed. Erik knew that Helena saw his reaction and made it even more clear.
He skimmed the notes. It made sense now! Making an interveiw isn't really that bad; seeing as he was once in the teaching field.
"This is very helpful. Thank you!" Erik took another look at the notes. "When is this due?"

Laura walked through the rows of cubicles and was searching for the current incharge of the survey Eteria's cubicle. she wanted to give the draft of the questions that were to be asked in the survey.as she was walking by she came across a door closed with Eteria's name written on it. Laura knocked the door and waited...

Hearing a knock at the door, Eteria got up and opened it to see Laura standing outside of her cubicle. She tied her hair back since it was getting in her way, adjusted her glasses and gestured for Laura to come in. "Come in. What do you need?" Eteria took a seat in her chair and started to spin around while looking at the ceiling. It was an old childhood habit but she loved to act like a kid.

Laura saw Eteria in a pony tail and her glasses. she said "um...hi Eteria...well i came here to give the questionaire for the survey," she said while she sat down and saw Eteria spinning on the chair. she gave a small smile and shook her head
"everyone is a kid out here," she thought "guess i need to let my hair down too," she thought but she snapped back in to reality "here, this is the questionaire" she said handing over the parchment, "and well...i also wanted to tell you something...about this survey" she said

"The survey? Alright what's up?" Eteria stopped spinning in the chair and faced her co-worker. Acting as division head was difficult at times but it DEFINITELY had it's perks. Her ideas and others could be considered equally but she would help in the final survey with the other Heads.

"um...well while doing this questionaire thing and referring the notes in the confernce meeting there was this idea put forth by one of the members that even the students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang should be interviewed or their survey should be taken...cause that will help them and us as well and will get to know what is going on in the heads of the students from different countries about their own schools and about Hogwarts. and another thing is that...i guess as we had discussed earlier...as the parents have the tendency of making their kids follow their tradition...i guess even the parents need to be interviewed on what they think about these schools," said Laura hoping that she was making some sense.

"You know Laura I thought about that too. I don't see why the students of the other schools shouldn't be interviewed as well as the parents of the students transferring. You make perfect sense & I'll bring it up with the other heads." Eteria nodded and made a mental note to mention Laura's statements in the meeting between the other bosses.

Laura nodded in satisfaction and said,"i guess i wanted to only discuss these two points...thanks for your time," she said politely.
"it was nice talking to you.have a nice day," she said with a small smile without knowing how to end the conversation she got up to leave.
"honestly Merlin... i need to know how to converse with my incharges better," she thought to herself as she headed for the door

Jacob entered the British Seats area after far too long of a time away. He had missed his employees, his job, his co-workers, almost as much as he missed Greece while he was away from his childhood country.

Nodding to everyone he passed, Jacob held the usual briefcase in one hand and a large-ish paper bag in the other. Upon reaching the door to his office, Jacob sent his briefcase in, took out his wand, and with it's aid set up a frosted glass topped table with black wrought iron legs. He placed it to the left of his door and spread the contents of the paper bag on it.

There was a plate of Kydonopastos - quince jelly candies, and a personal favorite of Jacob's. Next to that was an equally large and heaping plate of Pastelis - sesame honey candies. Finally there was a box full of Baklava and enough Butterbeer bottles to satisfy the Division.

"Hey everyone," Jacob announced once done, "I've brought everyone some treats from Greece - there should be enough to go around a few times."

Laura walked into the office for the day and saw Jacob standing near his office
"aha...so our division head is back," she thought with a smile. she walked up to him and asked,"good morning Mr.Webster, how was your trip to Greece? looks like you had a real great time," she said and glanced at the contents on the glass table.
"hm...candies...from Greece?," she asked

Helena was really glad to have helped Erik out, "Due ... Ooh, I'm not too sure, you know... I think that it would be best to just get it back to Etera as soon as its finished really."

Helena looked upfrom her work to see Jacob coming back "Ah, Hello Jacob!" She smiled at all of the greek sweeties he had on the fancy looking table. "Had a good holiday I hope?" Iris then looked back to her work, She wasn't very fond of greek sweets, she'd tried them once and once was enough for her, really. She sighed and propped her head on her hand as she doodled on a spare piece of parchment. She was still extremely depressed after her split up, she never thought her husband would behave as he did.

A memo flew into the room.

Laura quickly walked through the division seats office into the conference room.

Helena walked back into the Division on her own, still thinking about the World Cup. Wow. This is pretty amazing! ... Slowly, as she made her way to her cubicle, she remembered why she was down at the beginning of the meeting. She'd practically lost all of her family ... She'd never felt so alone in all her life. She looked up, waiting for Laura to get back. Then they could plan they're lunch together or something... Maybe they could get out of the Ministry for a few hours and go to the Leaky Cauldron... Hopefully, this would sound like a good idea to Laura, as then Helena would be able to nip into Owlery too, afterwards.

Laura walked back all excited back to her division.well the QWC is the only exciting thing happening in her life presently while there was another disturbing thing happening with her and her friends.she needed to go back to them once her work for the day was overshe walked back to her cubicle put her notepad away along with quill and her ink bottle in drawer of her desk and checked her handbag for her purse.she carried it and walked back to Helena's cubicle.
"hey there Helena hope you havent forgotten our lunch time together," Laura said as she pooped into Helena's cubicle.

Helena looked up as Laura appeared at her cublicle ... door ... "Course I haven't, Laura!" She said with a grin. "I was just thinking, maybe we could get out of the Ministry for a bit, go to the Leaky Cauldron or something?" ... There. She had spoken her idea. "But, Lets wait for Jacob to get back ... He might have work for us, so I'd rather be here to get it, instead of it just being left in my pigeon hole." She smiled at Laura, hoping that she wouldn't mind holding lunch off an extra hour or so.
