Noting the reaction of her employee, it was confirmed in Lorraine's mind that she was mostly correct with her speculation for the reason dealing with relationships. Sighing, she noticed Madison's apparent hesitancy to continue on with the topic. Was she being too pushy? Perhaps. Was gossip worth it? Most definitely.

Lorraine was about to reply, when she noticed the head hanging low and the sigh. "I'm sorry. You don't have to talk about it, but if you want to... or if you need advice..." she suggested, despite the fact that she felt as though she hardly knew the employee before her. Yet in efforts to be a good boss, she should at least offer her listening ear.

"Advice," Madison exclaimed with a quick jerk upwards with her head. "I need advice. I need someone to tell me what to do, how to act. I'm completely lost when it comes to..." she lowered her voice and closed her eyes "...confusing men."

She still felt strange talking to someone she didn't know but at the same time, it felt good to get things off of her chest. Madison looked hopeful as she wondered if this person could help her better than she imagined. "Please say you can help me Ms. Brothmeister." She was almost beggin.

Lorraine maintained her gaze on her employee noting all body language. Truth was, she didn't have the slightest when it came to men at all, let alone 'confusing men'. However, what Lorraine could do was what she did best: listen to the person and use her sense of the workplace to hopefully apply it to relationships.

Taking a deep breath, she nodded slowly. "Lorraine. Call me Lorraine," she began, trying to think of the correct wording. "Madison. First of all, I don't know who this man is that you speak of, nor do I have much experience in that topic. But one thing that I am pretty confident about is that you should follow your heart. Listen to it. Do what you love."

Taking a seat down next to the employee, she looked back into her eyes. "Now, tell me more about this... male."

Madison sighed as she tilted her head slightly to think about how was the best way to describe Constantine "Neo" Masterson. She could sum it up in one word. "Mysterious," she said with a slight smile on her face as her eyes gazed to nothing in particular as she began to think of the good times they had in school.

Okay! This was a weee bit strange to her but obviously Lorraine cared enough to take the time to visit with her and see that something was bothering her. That was a nice boss indeed. "Well, what do you think when you haven't seen someone you care about in 15 years and then all of a sudden they show up at your work, know exactly what department you are in but can't tell you anything because they just keep secrets to themselves. He said it was complicated as to why he came here and didn't say anything else." A disappointing look feel onto her face as she looked down to her desk.

"But he remembered..." She looked up to the ceiling as she was thinking aloud. A smile fell onto her face as to her, Neo remembered their first kiss. Of course it took him a while to remember...was that good or bad?

Still not quite sure who Madison was thinking about, Lorraine waited for her to talk before saying anything. She was a bit taken back though when the male was described as 'mysterious' and previously 'confusing'. That really narrowed things down; she rolled her eyes, wondering if the name was even important.

Sighing, Lorraine just continued to listen rather than speak up so quickly. Some mysterious man showed up randomly here for Madison? Eek! She needed to pay more attention about the security and welfare of her employees! "I'd think that was a little creepy," she admitted quietly, not meaning to say that out loud. "I mean, that is rather ... confusing. But I'd say that if he showed up randomly after not seeing you for so long, then perhaps he missed and cared about you just as much but is afraid of commitment or getting hurt? Or perhaps hurting you?" She frowned thoughtfully, trying to take in all that Madison had just said.

And then, she said something more... he remembered... Remembered what? She waited to see if Madison would continue, but she didn't. Tilting her head sideways slightly, her hazel eyes peered over at the young employee as she tried to find meaning in the smile. "Remembered?" she repeated, a puzzled look falling on her face.

"Creepy?" Madison asked with a some what shocked face. "You don't know him like I do. Plus my brother told him where to find me as well." At least that is what he told her. And then she sighed, dropping her posture a bit.

"Commitment...girls...relationships...He was never one that was good at those things. But of course neither was I." She hoped that he was not afraid of hurting her. That would be a big obstacle to come by as well. Oh her head was full of nonsense at the moment. This wasn't really helping so to say. And then she heard the word remember.

Another sigh escaped from her as she pressed her lips together. There were certain things that she was private about, one of them was affection in public while the other...she would secretly carry his name around but never tell. No one needed to know who it was, she might not know him anyway...but then again she could. "Oh he just remembered something that happened a long time ago when we were in school together. You know, just...something that meant a lot to me." She turned her head back to the quill that she played with continuously as another small but faded smile came across her lips.

Frowning, Lorraine didn't like the way Madison responded to her calling the situation of random guy entering workplace 'creepy'. But then again, she understood so little as to the situation. Truth was, if this said male was as Madison described him, she wasn't entirely sure she ever wanted to know him like her. "Your brother?" she asked, with pique interest. "Well that makes sense then. Do they work together?"

"Oh." She listened as best she could when Madison went on about he was never good at those things. This actually made somewhat sense, in a weird sort of way. Maybe it had to do with the fact that she never was one to commit to anything either, unless it involved moving up in her career.

Lorraine nodded when Madison still didn't mention exactly what it was that he remembered. But she didn't need to; for she was quite sure by that smile and the secretive nature plus embarrassment, that it had something to do with a kiss. Whether it was their first kiss or just the most special one, she didn't know, but it was quite irrelevant as well. Sighing, she looked down at the desk and played with the edge a little. "So..." she started quietly, unsure if she should press the issue. Finally, she just asked the question; "Who is he?"

Madison looked up from her hands playing with the quill to her boss that stood next to her. "Oh yes! They work together and actually I didn't know that he was even there until he showed up here. My brother didn't feel it was his gossip to tell."

She smiled until Lorraine asked who he was. That included a name and she was not brave enough to blurt that out but it also included exactly what he was to her. After all these years and all the secrets that had been shared, she still felt the same, even though he was quite handsome in his older years. Truth be known he was always cute to her. He was the reason she had taken up photography for it was an excuse to take his picture. He was also the only one she would ever sing for. Neo always seemed to like it when she sang, otherwise he wouldn't have played the piano so much for her, so she believed.

This time her eyes looked down to her desk as her hands fiddled with the quill once more. It was a good question to ask as she had never openly admitted exactly what he was to her. It was something she had always kept to herself but was more or less something that everyone just assumed. Her eye looked back to Lorraine again as this time her face was innocent yet serious.

"He's my best friend."

Lorraine was still fiddling with the edge of the table when Madison replied that her brother did work with this said male. Interesting... very interesting. "And... they work at the school?" she asked, more for clarification purposes since she knew they didn't work at the Ministry, but someplace within close relations to the school. "I wonder if..." she fiddled with the edge of the desk more, trying to find the right words. "... do you think your brother knows how you feel? how he feels?"

She sighed, her eyes darting sideways to look at Madison once more as the woman began to fiddle with a quill. Then she spoke of who it was; this mysterious and yet confusing male. It was at that moment in which she felt a sense of kinship with Madison that had not been felt before. Perhaps it was because she was also caught in rut where she liked her best friend too. Really liked him; only she would never admit it to anyone.

"That..." she spoke finally, albeit quietly. "Makes perfect sense."

After what seemed like endless silence, Lorraine glanced up at the clock and suddenly stood. "Oh sorry Madison! I've just realized the time and I should head to the other divisions and inform them of the meeting. You'll let Mr Caster know?" she eyed for a moment, contemplating the woman. "Be safe and everything will work out the end. See you in a few hours in the conference room..." And with that, Lorraine hurried from the Floo Network and off to the next division.

Winter hadn't been paying the greatest amount of attention, but when he heard his name, his head went up like a alerted rabbit's. Although that was a strange metaphor to go through his head. He'd heard the words 'Caster' and 'meeting'.
Now, a normal person would put two and two together and make four. Winter isn't exactly what people would call 'normal'. He pulled together a few pieces of paper that were strewn infront of him and looked at them for a brief millisecond, and then moved over to one of his... Were they his employees? Perhaps in a way they were... But he moved over to the woman that Ms. Brothmeiser had just previously been talking to and asked her, "Where was the meeting?" Hoping not to sound... Too stupid.

Oi! Madison hadn't mentioned anything about the school. How did she know? Was it that easy to figure out? And then Lorraine disappeared just as she had appeared, quickly. Well, at least she had made some sort of sense to Lorraine as it she seemed to grasp exactly where she was coming from.

Her head slowly turned to the gentleman that asked the simple question of where the meeting was. "Conference room," she said with a forced smile and sighed. "We can go together if you like. I know where it is." She waited for an answer before turning back to her desk and fidgeting with the quill once more.

Something about they way she'd replied to him made Winter bite his bottom lips for a brief second, and then he unclamped his teeth and gave her a quick smile, "Only if you want to, I do know where it is." Did she know that he was the new division head? Probably not. He was probably meant to be a heck of a lot more organised...

Such an idiot I am! Madison thought to herself as she stood up from her chair and walked over to where the gentleman was. "I'm sorry. I haven't formally introduced myself," she said with a more genuine smile this time. "Madison Myers. And you are?" she asked with a curious question reaching her hand out for him to shake.

On the recieving of the smile, Winter returned his own giddy one and replied, whilst shaking her hand, "Winter Caster, nice to meet you." Then his mind suddenly contracted, why did people say, nice to meet you? And why on earth did they shake hands? Life was just a bit odd if you thought about it too hard.
Steering his weirdly made brain away from common pleasantries, Winter picked up some dusty files with the word "URGENT" on them, checking the date he asked his newly made aquaintance, "So, how long have you been working here?"

Winter Caster, Madison thought to herself. "Nice to meet you as well," she said in her soft voice still smiling. Her eyes glanced towards the dusty folder marked 'Urgent'. Apparently there was not a lot of urgency to that folder before.

She tilted her head slightly as her brain began to turn. "I haven't been here long. About a month actually." But then she raised enough nerve to ask a question. "You wouldn't happen to be the new department head, would you," she asked with a curious smile on her face. It was bold enough for her to ask, something she rarely did but it would be nice to meet the new head of the department as well.

Yay, he didn't have to explain anything! "Yeah, that's me." Winter replied with a good-natured smirk crossing his features. He loved it when people found things out for themselves, it was awesome that somebody thought of something, instead of it just being him... Who was a bit giddy.
He went back to moving some of the paper work around, putting it in piles... Which would probably gather more dust. He thought with another smile, oh... Wait... Weren't they meant to be getting to a meeting or something?
"Uhum, what was Ms Brothmeister talking about earlier... Something about a meeting.. Right?" Hopefully he hadn't got it wrong.

"Oh, congratulations," Madison smiled sweetly towards Winter's new position within the department, but her smile turned into a bit of a forced smile. "Actually part of our conversation was on the meeting...that should be happening not too long from now. I was thinking of heading there, myself. Would you like to join me?"

She was the type of person that got along with people quite well, except for one person in particular. Well, they got along just it was hard when there were feelings involved with the certain person, more feelings than she had ever felt for anyone else. Oh why were men so complicated sometimes, or just one in particular.

Okay, so walking back into his office wasn't an awesome idea. Especially seems every door he went into... He went... into. So after another almighty crash, Winter made his way through the door to his office. Why did it seem like it was only Madison who was actually doing anything around here? Well, her and himself. Sitting down on a rather comfy chair, he looked at the pieces of paper that had something to do with the international stuff... Hmm... He should probably go talk to Blaze.

As Elizabeth left the department heads office she steered her steps to her new workplace, the floo network division. It was very quiet in the corridor and the blond could her the clapps of her red heels on the floor. Elizabeth stopped to adjust her hair and clothes before opening the door to the floo divsion. As she went inside the blond woman was met by a man sitting in a comfy chair. Clearing her throat she said "Hello, Is this the office of Mister Winter Caster and the Floo Network division?"

Looking up from the random squiggled he'd accedentally drawn on his work, Winter smiled brightly at the newcommer, "Yes, yes it is! Hey." Standing up and moving carefully around his desk, he greeted her with a little too much enthusiasm, "I'm Winter Caster, nice to meet you..?" Good one, he didn't even know the names of the new employees. Well... he wasn't psycic.

Angelica smiled warmly at the man and extended a hand saying "Pleasure to meet you mister Caster! I'm Angelica Goldbloom the new floo network employee."The blond woman paused for a moment to look around the room before continuing "So what does the job in the floo network division entitle? Miss Brothmeister said something about their being an assignment to work out which foreign minister is using which means of transportation." Angelica shifted in her stance asking "Is that assignment still ongoing? I have heard some rumours that the foreign ministers have already started arriving for the big magical conference. Is that true?" Admiring the paitnings in the room Angelica let her new boss take his time.

As soon as she'd mentioned the conference, Winter fell over his desk. Oh noes. Suddenly he began to babble. "Oh crap. I was meant to be sorting out some Floo bits for them... Ah, I need to go see Mr Phoenix.." Then shutting himself up, Winter stood up properly, and rubbed his knee. "I need to see the head of the Portkey.. Thingy, d'you want to come, or shall you just hold down fort?" Hopefully she understood some of that...

Angelica watched as her new chef fell over his desk at the mention of the magical conference. She kept a neutral face as Winter started babbling incoherently. Raising an eyebrow she responded calmly "I'll come with you to see the Portkey head. If something is needed to be done swiftly then i can get right too it."In her mind Angelica wondered how her boss could have forgotten about the magical conference.



Angelica hurried into the division seeing no sign off her boss Winter around. Sighing she raised her voice so that everyone could hear saying "Everyone, The International Conference is about to commence. All employees of the department of magical transportation should attend the ceremonies. Lorraine's orders, so dress up and head down to level 10!" Heading to her own desk Angelica pulled out her wand and conjured up a light blue gala dress, high heels, an accessory bag and jewlery. With a few flicks of her wand she was properly dressed for the opening ceremonies. Angelica bettered her makeup and then left the floo network.

A memo fluttered into the quiet Floo Network Division for the employees to read:

As he was just about to crash into the filing cabinet, Winter was thankfully saved by an owl. Picking up the letter it'd just dropped, he paused. Everything in his body just paused. He read it again, then again. Homicide? Ugh. Sitting down on his high backed chair he scowled at the piece of paper. Something that looked so innocent that brought such tidings of bad news. He blinked. It must have had something laced into the paper that made him think so poetically. Standing back up again, he took the letter and pinned it up on the small, already over flowing cork board. Poor guy. Going back to his chair, he began rifling through the paper work on his desk, hoping there wasn't anything too important there.
