Katy smiled and repiled, "I met with the department head, and since then I've been trying to meet all the division heads also. I think I've got one or two left to go. But its something to do I suppose."

Dora's memo flew onto Katy's desk. it read

"Yeah," replied Selena, "Because there is nothing else to do." A note flew to Katy and it scared Selena because she wasn't expecting it. Selena wondered who killed the proffessor at the Leaky Cauldron since her and her husband had to cancel their dinner plans there because of the murder.

Dora had just received Katy's response and was coming up to talk to her about changing her plans. Hopefully they could go somewhere else... "Katy, I just got your response. That's great about your husband!! I met him briefly somewhere. I have been all over my level lately! Listen, let's grab a drink and food, definitely, but there has been a murder at the Leaky Cauldron, so we can't go there. A Hogwarts Professor from what I've been told." Dora was deeply saddened by this. All of the Professors at Hogwarts were wonderful people and whomever it was that they had lost today would be a terrible blow to magical education at the school.

Katy was shocked when Dora told her about the murder, "Ohh no! That's awful...what in the world is going on with the staff at Hogwarts? First the werewolf incident and now...murder!" she continued, "But on a lighter note, I would love to go somewhere else, where did you have in mind?"

"I know it has been terrible for them over at the school. Since it's getting kind of late do you just want to pop down to the cafeteria and grab a bite or do you wish to go somewhere else?" Dora was feeling bad for the Hogwarts staff and the kids that knew him, but she was also excited to see Katy and that Edward was coming so soon. Her hair was a shocking shade of Blonde and Blue today and she was grinning widely. "Matter of fact I think I'll go on down, see you there!" Dora figured Katy had things to finish up so she would give her some time to get done and go on down to the Cafeteria herself.

Katy nodded, "I'll see you in a bit!"

Dora smiled and waved before turning to walk out. Over her shoulder she called, "Take as long as you need, Katy, I am all done for the day."

She, herself, had entered in the Ministry because she wanted to make a difference and help out in the society. But things would have to go slow if she was going to get anywhere in this place.

Familiar? Sarah cocked her head as Claudian pondered on her familiarity. "Do I?" she asked, rather puzzled. "Why... yes I did attend Hogwarts. Maybe you know my brother? Brian Lee?" Sarah didn't think that the reason for why she seemed so familiar was because she attended Hogwarts, but most likely because of Brian. He was rather popular and famous... ish... at the Ministry and Sarah was seen quite a few times with him. Especially at the wedding.

Claudian watched for a brief moment as Selena resumed her place at her desk, presumably to work. This was going to be a great Department to be working in. Everyone seemed friendly and willing to do their share.

"I think we do." He said, speaking agreeably, before lighting up a little at the topic of his work. "Well,..." *hem* "I don't know if I could say my work is anything anyone but the parenting sect of the Wizarding community would've heard of, though...if you've ever managed to pick up a copy of a little periodical called The Firecrab, then you might've come across its' jokes and humour section. My editor and I helped put that up every month for kids and parents. It was quite fun, really. Sometimes young children would send us their jokes and we'd include them for publication."

"Brian Lee?! No kidding? I have heard of him. Though, I've never met the chap myself." In fact, Brian was on Claudian's list of Who's-Who at the school and had been set to be invited to The Secret Manly Wizarding Club had his NEWTS and new girlfriend not eaten all of his free-time during his 7th year. "He's your brother? Small world it is. I was just as his wedding. Beautiful, by the way. I didn't know a friend of my fiancees was his bride. Becky Todd, I believe her name was. Though, Becky Lee now I presume." He self-corrected.

Claudian's face fell before he caught it and hoistened it up into a more sociable expression, however unable to suppress the fear that a dead teacher meant someone he knew was gone. A Hogwarts Professor had died? The memory of Natasha Blaylock apparated to the forefront of his mind and the pain of that loss renewed itself, and made it a bit hard to concentrate. He wanted to know who, but was unwilling to interrupt a conversation topic that he'd not been apart of and that was long since passed over. He noted the new face, though and would make it a point to get to know another one of his co-workers when the opportunity presented itself. He turned his attention back toward Sarah.

"So, Sarah, what's on the agenda for the day? Did I hear something about a meeting from the corridor?" He asked, trying to keep his mind on his work still inwardly hoping it was no one he or Xana knew.

Samantha entered the liaisons' office with a smile on her face. "Ladies, gentlemen, the Minister is requesting that all of you join us in the Conference Room now. I think you will find the meeting most informative, and thank you all."

Watching the man that stood before her, Sarah watched him carefully, giving him all of her attention. It was after all polite, but she was also interested in what the newcomer had to say. She couldn't help but crack a smile at the title of his publication. "The Firecrab?" Sarah repeated, pausing momentarily. Chuckling she continued. "That's... adorable... I'll have to pick up a copy after work." She couldn't help herself. She was going to drop by a bookstore later.

Nodding her head, Sarah was slightly surprised by his reaction. Why...? Should she be kidding? "No joke," she confirmed. Sure Bri was famous an' all... but not that famous. In his DREAMS. "Yes... he's my brother..." sadly. The crazy overprotective sweet guy was most definitely her brother. "Oh? You were at the wedding, were you? I dearly hope you enjoyed it," she said, nodding her head as she smiled. Small world. It truly was.

As she was about to reply to the fact that Claudian's fiancee was Becca's friend, Sarah couldn't help but catch the latest bit of gossip from another woman that was chatting away with Katy. A dead Hogwarts professor? That was just horrible! Her face grew grave as she glanced in their direction, biting her lip as she pondered the possibilities of which professor's fate was so unlucky.

Thankfully, Claudian drew her attention back to him and Sarah looked back at him. "Meeting? Yes... we have a meeting today with the Department Heads," she said, and glanced over towards the door just in time to watch the Senior Undersecretary enter through the doorway. "And it's time..."

Nodding her head at Samantha, Sarah returned the smile and gathered herself together. She prepared herself for the meeting and made her way towards the woman herself, awaiting for any instructions she was about to give her. Once everybody was ready to leave, Sarah went out the door herself to the Conference Room.

Claudian smiled warmly, glad that Sarah was amused by the title. It was then that Miss Rose made her entrance. "Looks like we're on." He was more than a little nervous and that was probably apparent in the shallow breath he took as well as the arc of his eyebrows.



He followed Miss Rose back to the Conference Room and got the door for the ladies in his department. Breathe, Claudian, Breathe. I'm sure we'll attend meetings all the time as Liaisons.

Edward walked into the Liason's Office with the note Forrester had given him, looking around he found a few ladies there and asked, "Is there a Samantha Rose here? Ihave this note for her."

"He says it is to be handed to the Minister herself."

Selena walked into the room with all the liaison desks and went and sat down at her desk. She reached into a drawer and grabbed a quill and some purple ink and started to recopy the notes from the meeting about the Quidditch World Cup because in the meeting she had just scrawled the notes down really quick and she could hardly read the notes herself and it was her writing. After a couple of notes she started humming.

Claudian saw a gentleman enter into the Liaisons desks holding a note.

"Ms. Rose. No, she's not here, she'd be in her office, mate." He said pointing towards the office of Senior Undersecretary Rose.

"Ah, thank you, my mistake! I'll just head over to her office then!" Edward flashed a smile and turned on his heel to go to the Office of the Senior Undersecretary.

J.J. Starr went to his new office. He is the new liason to the Department of Transportation. He finds an empty desk. " Hello everyone, I am Joe Jon Montcenaggio, but Call me J.J. Starr" he told them. " I am the new liason for the Department of Transportation" J.J. Starr said to the other liasons.

When Claudian returned from the meetings, he found one of the other Liaisons (Oh, what did Ms. Rose say his name was? Jay? James? John?) present and introducing himself.

Jay-Jay! That was his name!

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Starr. I'm Claudian. Claudian Slughorn. I answer to the International Cooperation Department." He said extending a large hand for a shake. "Transportation, eh? Are you enjoying that, mate?" He inquired, taking a seat at his desk and placing his notes at the corner of his table, and taking out some stationary. This was going to be exciting. He'd never yet made one of those airplaney thingies.

"Well, I am just learning the job ,but it is fun." J.J. Starr told Claudian. He shook Claudian's hand " Nice to meet you, too" J.J. said to him. " I hear we will be working on the Quidditch World Cup" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to him.

When Selena walked back to her desk she heard a man speaking. His name was J.J. Starr. Selena walked over to him and said, "Hello, my name is Selena M. Meller the liaison for the Minister of Magic, you can call me Selena.

"Well hello Selena" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told her. "Well, you get to work for Miss Taylor and I get to work for Bella Greingorth and Samantha Rose" J.J. Starr told Selena.

"That's cool that you get to work for two people, what are the like to work for?" said Selena in a response to J.J.

She wasn't so sure exactly why she was happy but she just felt happy and well... that was all that mattered. She smiled and waved at her colleagues, shouting out their names. Selena! Claudian! Making her way to her desk, Sarah grabbed hold of the strap of her bag and set it gently down on top of her desk.

Making her way to her desk, Sarah grabbed hold of the strap of her bag and set it gently down on top of her desk.

"Saraaah!" He sing-shouted back as he twirled once in his chair to send away a couple of paper airplanes. That was fun. And really a lot easier than he thought it would be. And they don't bite or require tipping.

"You look happy!" He said, though, not as though it were a bad or unusual thing. H'mm, maybe she met a boyfriend? Oh! Then he could invite them to cocktails at Leviosa's (Or was it just Leviosa?). Cocktails, designer threads, vanity elixirs, and pedicures. Claudian was practically the girl in that relationship set up.

He took out a clean piece of parchment and tested a quill on it as he began to draw up ideas for the posters that were to go up soon...ouch! actually very soon!
