Department Liaison Desks A series of desks are spread out throughout the center of this floor. Each of the desks is large and ornate, labelled clearly with the employee's name. These desks are for the staff of the Minister of Magic. Each employee on this floor ultimately answers to the Minister of Magic, albeit often through the Senior Undersecretary, and they each communicate directly with a specific department on his behalf. |
Brian walking inside the floor as he clungs his jerkin over his shoulder. There was all empty. Nobody around there. So the first person to the floor, he chuckled and walking towards his desk which was in the front row and labelled with his name by the glittering bronze name board. He sat there after dusting a bit, and sunk back at the chair, waiting for others to come to start the work. |
A bored Bella entered the hall with all the department liaison desks in them, hoping that she would find someone there. She was early to work, as usual and utterly bored. Maybe someone had turned up by now. She glanced around the room. Empty. It wa- NO! Wait! Brian was here! Perfect. She smiled as she walked up to his desk, her shoes making clacking noises each time she placed her foot on the floor. Of course it would only be seconds before he turned around and noticed she was walking over. "Good Morning!" She said as she stopped in front of his desk and took a seat on one of the chairs. |
Brain looked in front of him, there was Bella, sitting across his table. He smiled instantly, "Oh, Hi...when did you come? I thought I was the lonely person here..thinking of how to survive.." he laughed. "So, wazzup?" he asked and leaned over the table. |

Bella watched him smile and laughed as he said he thought he was the lonely person here and was wondering how to survive. She then launced into explaining in full detail the reason why she wasn't here before he entered the office. "I got up a little later than usual." She told him. "My stupid alarm forgot to go off, you know how they are. Remind me to buy a muggle alarm clock when I go back home today, they work better than ours ... although replacing the batteries is a bit of a pain." She sighed and then continued. "Anyways, I didn't have time for making breakfast, not that I wanted to make it anyways. I was feeling too lazy. So I had breakfast in the Ministry Cafeteria and therefore got a little late." She finished and grinned at him. She was in her talkative mood today, that was obvious and then she remembered something she had seen as she had walked out of the Cafeteria. "You know what, a lion walked into the ministry cafeteria just as I was walking out." (O_O) She told him. "It was actually one of the ministry officials in their animagus form. I don't think they needed to demonstrate that talent of theirs in the ministry. That was kinda stupid." She paused for a moment and then added. "Is a lion animagus even possible?" She asked as she looked at him. She had obviously seen it then. "Maybe it was the trick of the light or something." |
Brian sat straight and listening her story with folded hands, smiling all the way. "Hahaha...so You're interested in the muggle things as much as me. And Your morning adventour is interesting" he nodded, "and mine is pretty same, but fortunately my mom is always alert and she never forget to make us in time.." he was thinking of her mother instantly and her sinceroity. But chuckled at the talk of the Lion. "Oh..Bella, i guess you're still in your morning dream..Lion in the Ministry?? and Lion animagus?" he shook his head and waved his hand in disbelievement. |

Bella narrowed her eyes as she watched him, but her thoughts were away in the cafeteria. She had definately seen a lion there. Or maybe her brain was playing tricks on her. "Maybe you are right." She said, finally focusing her eyes on him. "I was daydreaming ... maybe. I didn't get much sleep last night." That would be it. Lack of sleep can sometimes causes your brain to play tricks on you. Her's was, of course, no different. |
He was watching her. She seemed bit serious about the Lion thing. "Well...Bella, I'm not sure, I'll not believe such things untill I see by my own.." he shrugged"And if you want to get a clear thing, we can go to that place, wanna go? " he asked again to relieve her from the doubt. Ooc: okay :D |
Quote:
Bella thought about this for a moment and then nodded. "I'll be a minute." She said, grabbing her stuff and then heading over to the desk with her name 'Isabella Brown - The Junior Assistant to the Minister of Magic' written on it and placed her magazines on one side of the desk and her files in the center. She then walked back over to Brian and grinned. "Let's go." |
Brian got up and walking towards the Cafeteria with Bella. He was not sure of the Lion thing still. But wanted to clear things as soon as possible. He smiled all the way. "A new adventour in the morning" he nodded. |

Bella was about to walk out with him, but then she stopped. What was the point? Even if there was a lion animagus in there, he has probably already left the cafeteria. And what if when they leave, their boss arrives? What was the point anyways? "Let's not go, actually." She said. "The person probably already left and what if Reagan or the Minister arrive now and we are gone?" And maybe it really was her head playing tricks on her. What was the point then? Nothing. |
Feeling a little reluctant, Angelina crossed her arms and entered the hall with all the department liaison desks in them. She was new in there and she didn't really know where to go first and whatever more. Angeline bit her lower lip when she heard people talking and tried to look a little more confident still her stomach seemed to be performing somersaults. She wasn't going to make a fool out of herself on her first day. Well, she hoped not to. |
Juggling her briefcase and coffee as she pried open the door, Leila made her way to her desk in the area for all the department liaisons. Clad in her favorite black skirted suit and red pumps, she was ready to take on the world. Or at least the department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. One never knew what a day might bring in that particular department. |

Bella glanced around when she heard foot steps and her eyes rested on a woman who had just walked in. She didn't know this person, so either she was from another department, of she was new here. "I'll be just a sec." She told Brian, then she smiled confidently and walked over to where the woman stood, her black skirt swaying from side to side as she moved. "Good Morning." She said, smiling faintly at her. Then she remembered they told her that the new liaison for the Department of Magical Transfortation will be arriving today. Her name was ... Erm ... Angelina Gilmore? That's what she remembered. "Are you Angelina Gilmore, the new liaison for the Department of Magical Transportation?" Bella asked, raising her perfectly shaped eyebrows ever so slightly. Quote:
Bella was still focused on the woman in front of her, she was still unsure if she was Angelina or someone else, but the noise of another pair of feet made her glance in the direction of the door. "Morning Leila." She greeted Leila as she watched her walk over to her desk. |
Quote:
"Well..Okay then, as you wish.." he shrugged and said, "Anyway I've to see my friend in the secuirty checks area. So see you later, I'll be back in few minutes.." he waved at her before he left. |

Angelina looked around when she heard her name been called. “Good Morning..” she answered nicely to the woman. “Erm.. yes. That is me. I'm Angelina Gilmore.” she said while she bit her lower lip softly. She was starting to feel nervous, it was her first day in there, that was something normal… being nervous.. No. She didn’t want to look nervous. She looked at the woman who was talking with her, people really seemed to be very well informed around there. She was new there, and that woman was the first person she talked since she arrived there. “And I’m talking with…” she started with a polite smile, the woman didn't said her name... did she? |
A few moments later, a pink shaped broomstick memo zoomed in and landed neatly on the desk of a department liaison. Ms Angelina Gilmore, to be precise. It began to unfold itself in her presence and read the following: Quote:
|
Reagan entered the liaisons' area from her own office, knowing that most of them hadn't even realized she was already here. While getting herself a cup of water, Reagan greeted them all cheerfully, "Good morning everyone! Hope you're all doing well today." When she spotted the new face amongst the few that were already present, Reagan knew immediately that it must be Angelina Gilmore, the new liaison to the Department of Magical Transportation. Approaching her quickly, Reagan stated with her hand outstretched to shake, "And you must be Angelina Gilmore. It's a pleasure to have you working with us in the Minister's Office. I'm Reagan Taylor, the Senior Undersecretary to the Minister." |
Quote:
"Good morning to you too deary. My name is Leila. Liaison to the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. Though why they put me there, I'll never know. I seem to be more accident prone than your typical witch," she laughed. Quote:
She looked up when Reagan walked through the door. "Morning ma'am. How are you doing this morning?" |
Quote:
She was actually thinking that it was really nice from Ms J Brothmeister to send her a broomstick memo, she took her hand to a lock of her hair that was in front of her eyes and pulled it behind her hear. She was going to meet Ms J Brothmeister at… where did she said that her office was? Sixth Level? Yes.. it was that. Quote:
Ministry people seemed to be very nice… Maybe too much nice for her. She looked for the woman that was speaking to her and unfolded her arms to shake her hand.. softly. She didn’t want to started being clumsy at her first day. That was actually going pretty well. “Yes, I’m Angelina Gilmore, its really nice to meet you Ms Taylor.” She finally spoke, trying to keep herself relaxed, with a smile “The pleasure is all mine, Ms Taylor.” |

Brian Came back to his seat after meeting his friend. There he saw Reagan, talking with his collegues. He walked over her and said, "Hi, Reagan, How is your morning?" asked and flashing a dazzling smile. "I was here just before you come, got out for few minutes.." he explained his status shortly. |
Quote:
She pulled a lock of her hair behind her ear and listened carefully while she woman was talking and nodded. “I understood it.” She said with a smile. She still may had something a little grey on her mind, but she thought with some time, she would understand it all. “Thank you. I’ll do that.” She answered politely. |

_________ She shortly reappeared. Well, actually only her head reappeared as she ducked it out of her office door, from where she called, "Bella! The Minister would like his morning tea with two wedges of lemon, one on the edge of the cup and one resting on the saucer. And let's not have any of the seeds pop out of the lemon and be strewn about the saucer. Last time that happened, I thought the man might have a fit." Reagan was about to remove her head from the doorway when she remembered something else, "Oh! And make sure it is very hot because it takes him awhile to get to it and he hates it cold. Thanks!" |
Quote:
"Okay....I think it's time to start the work.." as he walked toward his table. He pulled the drawer to get today's schedule and works to do. |
