"Well hopefully things will go smoothly until he gets back. Unless there's anything you need to talk to me about then I'd better get back to the office" he said.

Elizabeth walked through the corridor and stopped in front of the door which lead to the Head Office. Taking a deep breath, she knocked at the door and waited for a reply.

"You're welcome and I will let you know if something comes up," Lorraine nodded politely. "Thank you for stopping in." She waved him on back to his office, since he said needed to go. Polite young man, that one is.


Lorraine was about to turn around and sit in her black office chair when she heard another knock. Strange, it's open. Shaking her head, she smiled warmly at the newcomer. "Hello er-" looking the new woman up and down, she realized she didn't recognize her. Must be one of her new hires. Waving her in as if it was no matter, she reached behind her to retrieve the list of new names. "Elizabeth Lennon, is it? Please come in and what can I do for you today?"

Elizabeth smiled back at her boss. "Hello. Err .. sorry to bother you but I was wondering if we have been assigned any tasks lately. The thing is I'm new here, as you probably know, and don't know what task I have to get done" she said confidently, surprised at herself that one moment ago she was nervous and now she was talking to her boss as if she knew her already.

It wasn't exactly difficult to note the hesitancy in the girl's voice. Lorraine eyed her carefully, all while trying to recall what division she was placed into... brooms? Nah. There's only four choices, it can't be too hard, right? "Well, let me think Ms Lennon," she replied lightly, to allow her another moment to choose her words. "Apparition yes? Your boss is Micah Nettings, a fine gentlemen," slightly neurotic too, she thought choosing not to say this part outloud.

"Anyway, as an apparition coordinator, your duty lies in testing those who wish for an apparition license," the brunette said as she rotated casually to look at some papers. "Ah yes, there should be some needing to be tested right about now, so my best bet would be to head down to the Apparition Test Center to find Mr Nettings and determine what he expects from you," she nodded approvingly at her words and the girl, before proceeding to walk around to the other side of her desk and settle into her chair. So much to be done...

Elizabeth nodded, taking in her words. "Thank you Ma'am. And sorry to bother you." she said kindly before turning around and walking out of the office.

Looking up casually, the green eyes of Lorraine peered into those of the girl before her. Oh dear, she had made someone feel guilty by her hastiness. No good at all. Sighing, she let out a small hint of a smile, "You are welcome and no worries about the bothering. I understand; any problems you have, just see me," she told her trying to sound as soft as possible.

Oceana! Of course! She smiled at the other young girl that had been standing with Filius earlier when she came in. "Oh no worries, you're an apparition coordinator, right?" she asked, peering down at her employee list to double check. "Ah yes, as I told the girl who just left who is also in your division, then your duty lies in testing those who wish to apply for an apparition license. Mr Nettings is in charge of your division and he'll help you get acquainted..." her voice trailed off as her eyes fell towards the corner of the room.

"Is everything ok Miss Brothmeister?" Oceana looked at the woman and followed her eyes to what she was looking at, "Excuse me, could you tell me where to find Mr Nettings?"......

Lorraine snapped out of it when the woman called her by her last name. "Huh? Oh yea fine, and please call me Lorraine," she said, trying not to sound overly annoyed. She had the tendency to let her voice tone change as she was rather high strung. "Apparition test center... he should be there anyway. If not, then you could check the test room as well."

Angelina walked by the six floor corridor with the memorandum on her right hand.
She remembered the first time she was there and how much nervous she was felling.
She wasn't feeling nervous anymore, well at least not as nervous as she used to.

The young woman stopped in front of a door and then knocked on it and waited for an answer.

Lorraine had been so busy with the paperwork that she'd left behind on her desk to attend the wedding of the century, that she barely heard the knock on the door. Thoughts of the kiss and then the after effects of his wife kept buzzing through her mind, making it near impossible to focus. Only one solution: she would have to go talk to them later.

"Come in," she called, as she continued to write and didn't even bother looking up to see who it was.

The young woman opened the door with a smile.
It seemed that someone was pretty busy.. Lorraine didn't even move her eyes from the paper where she was writing.
"Good Morning Lorraine." Yes, she remembered the woman’s name. "I have this memorandum for you." Angelina said as she carefully handed the memo to the woman.

Lorraine finally looked up from her paper at the sound of a familiar voice. "Ah Angelina! Good morning, you're early today," she said, eying the clock.

"Oh thank you." She took the memo from the woman, and glanced it over briefly. Sighing she nodded. "Oh dear, this should be fun. Wonder how these ministries like to travel," she murmured to herself.

"Thanks again dear and tell Ms Taylor that I will be informing my employees to be on their best behaviors," she said, looking up at the liaison. "Oh and I will be holding a staff meeting for them as well, which you are more than encouraged to attend, if you desire. I'll let you know the time and date via memo."

“Am I?” she asked with a slight eyebrow raised. She was sure that she walked into the ministry at the same time she always did. She moved her eyes to the woman and smiled. “Oh well, if I’m early today, I’m always early. This is usually the time I arrive. In fact, Angelina was always before time.
She liked it that way.

She loved her job a lot, more than just a lot, and that was enough.
As she heard Lorraine talking she observed that she looked a slight distracted, maybe something was perturbing her. “I’ll inform her. the young woman said with a nod and then smile as she looked at the woman. “Thank you very much Lorraine. I would love to go.” It was going to be interesting, specially because Angelina had never been on a staff meeting.

"Well, I meant you're early compared to when you usually deliver messages to me," Lorraine corrected herself. Being that the woman worked directly in the Minister's office, she knew that the woman would never dare be late. "At least I think so. But I reckon it depends on when you get notices to deliver."

She blinked at Angelina a few times; had the woman heard her random mutterings? Oh dear, she probably thought she was crazy. Which perhaps she was, but mostly it was just that she was distracted with many thoughts at the moment. "You're welcome, and I look forward to seeing you there. I'll send the memo to level one as soon as I know the date." She nodded, but then noticed Angelina was still standing there. "Is there anything else you needed?" she asked curiously, raising one brow.

“I deliver the messages when I receive them.” she said to Lorrain. Well, it was truth, but sometimes she had so many things to deliver that she needed to leave some of them to last.
Which was not the case.

Angelina woke up to reality when she heard Lorrain asking if she needed anything else.
Merlin, did she just shut down for a while?
“No nothing. Thank you.” the young woman said with a smile as she opened the door but then she turned her head to Lorrain. "Is everything okay?" and asked her.
Okayyy, she knew that was nothing of her business, but she just asked besides Lorrain seemed to be thinking about many things at the same time.. and she could swear that she heard the woman muttering something about the ministries.

"Of course you do," Lorraine replied back, nodding in understanding. "But today's just seemed earlier than usual. That's all." It was probably just that urgent, since Ms Taylor made sure to get the letter out as soon as possible due to its importance.

"Okay then, thanks again and have a gr-" she said to Angelina, but paused mid-sentence when the woman stopped halfway out the door to ask her one more thing. "Hmm? Oh yes, Angelina - er, can I call you Ang or Angie? but yes, everything is fine, just a lot on my mind, but you needn't burden yourself with any of it." Nodding approvingly, she smiled to show some sense of sincerity.

Angelina nodded, she could understand what the woman was saying, and thinking about it.. it did seemed earlier than usual. “ I suppose you are right Lor. Oh erm.. can I call you Lor?”

The young woman smiled, she instantaneously remembered when Nathan told her that she had a large name.
“Sure you can.” she told Lorraine as she, finally, opened the door. She was not going to ask anything else, Lorrain had already answered to her question and she was not going to push her.. besides, they didn’t know each other that well. “ I understand what you are saying.. but if you need to talk you know where I am.” The young woman nodded with a smile and then walked away from Lorrain’s office with her arms crossed.
She needed her coffee.
She seriously needed her sweet coffee.

"Sure, I suppose you can," she nodding at the new nickname her liaison was going to call her. It was only fair if she received a nickname in return for calling her 'Ang'.

"I will remember that, Ang," she told her. It was true though, if she ever did feel the need to talk about her feelings with someone then she would seek out Angelina or Teal, most likely. Then again, it probably depended on the issue at hand, but it was more likely she wouldn't tell anyone. She smiled back at the woman, "have a nice day, Ang!" she exclaimed and watched her leave the office.

Once she was gone, she returned to writing out some tasks that needed to be done by her or delegated to her staff.

Micah walked slowly over to Lorraine's office with a look of slight surprise. He hadn't been to her office in months since the roach attack. He knocked thrice as he did the very first time he entered Lorraine's office. He heaved a sigh and quickly practice his flawless smile.

Lorraine had just finished writing another note since her liaison left when she heard another knock on the door. Actually, it wasn't just one knock but three! Raising one brow peculiarly at the door, she wondered who the impatient person was this time.

"Come in please," she called out to them, as she glanced at the time on the wall. Ugh! Meeting in less than an hour; this better be important.

Micah opened the office door while he licked his lips. He looked at Lorraine and smiled his flashy white teeth. "Ah, Miss Breathmesser! May I have a seat if you wouldn't mind? This may be important in the matter of testing applicants."

Eww! Did he just lick his lips as he opened her office door? Wincing a small amount, she nearly choked as the person then proceeded to totally botch her name! It might have been tolerable if he was a new person, but no! It was one of her division heads!

"Excuse me? I beg your pardon Mr Nettings," she began folding her hands onto her desk. "I've told you before, but call me Lorraine if you refuse to pronounce my last name correctly. It's Brothmeister. That would be B-R-O-T-H-M-E-I-S-T-E-R." She shook her head subtly, not regretting in the least spelling it out for him. Men; will they ever learn? She didn't even bother addressing his question, but simply nodded curtly towards the seat.

Micah looked taken aback at the facial expression of his Department Head. For a split second he arched his eyebrow and thought, women....

"Yes, sorry Lorraine. Back in my previous job, a deduction from our income checks would be the cause of not directing proper respect to our officials. To be honest I'm still having a hard time pronouncing anything in German. Please excuse me." His brown eyes twinkled as he found his seat. "Well anyways, straight to the point. I want to change the way applicants are to be tested. I believe that they should not be fully physically tested but rather orally tested as well. What are your thoughts?"
