The official title for this division is: Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Objects. The room has several diagrams plastered on the walls as to what real objects look and act like just in case a certain wizard makes a copy that's rather flawless. The desks are plentiful here, so no one should have to share. After all, you need plenty of room to examine those fake objects.

Vivienne couldn't believe it - no one understood what she meant! The last time she dealt with a bad luck talisman, it was disasterous - she blew the thing up while trying to strip down the spells and her supervisor shouted at her for an entire hour for not asking the correct questions. Each thing this man said required a different set of dark magic charms!

She sat back in her chair and watched people leave. "Unbelievable," she muttered in French beneath her breath and stared at the talisman.

Rebecca walked in smiling "Hello, i am here on Miss O'Connor's behalf, is everything ok in here?" Rebecca asked

Then a memo came in and landed in Rebecca's hand, it had the new assignment on it, Rebecca read it out

There has been an outbreak of magical problems in the muggle community. People's laptops (portable muggle computers) have started to suck their souls out of their bodies. We need to find out what this spell is, how to block it, return souls, and then catch the culprit. Below is everyone's assignments.

Counterfeit Spells:
Work with Equipment control to design a spell, find a spell, or design an object to use to combat the spell.

Thoroughly disgruntled by the lack of work since the completion of her first assignment, Vivienne had spent her spare time reading but most recently, she had been filling out paperwork to request a transfer to a different department and even possibly back to Paris. "Zee Engleesh are boring," she mumbled to herself.

A few minutes later, a woman walked into the office and read a memo aloud. She listened carefully and made a few quick notes in her tiny notebook. But she had a few questions of her own. "What haz been done to stop zis?" she asked in heavily-accented English.

Rebecca looked at the woman with the French accent "Well, Magical equipment control have been asked to work with you and two other departments are working on this aswell, Improper use of magic are helping the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office, they're working on the laptop and you... well you have to design something to control the laptop" Rebecca smiled warmly and then waited patiently, she liked this woman

"Well, nozing can be done at our end wizout knowing wat ze ozers have done," Vivienne said and sighed. "Are zere ozers in zis department who will help or iz it just me?" Again.

"At the moment it seems like it is only you in this department working on it but there is some one in Magical epuipment control aswell, shall i go and get him?"

"Just me?" Vivienne asked in disbelief. "Aren't zere ozers who work in zis department? Zis iz zee kind of job zat takes more zan just one perzon!"

"I know" Rebecca said sympathetically "But this job needs doing as soon as possible, and from what I've heard, you are the best" Rebecca smiled encouragingly "Other people will turn up soon, It's just a matter of getting you all here and working together"

Rebecca smiled at him "Nice to see you again, not yet no, but you can start working on this, Miss Beauvais, meet Mr Dumbldore" Rebecca smiled and then saw the time "I'm awfully sorry, i have to go now, if you need to contact me, go to the Improper use of magic office and leave a memo on my desk" Rebecca nodded and left the room

Vivienne had it with the rudeness. "Zat iz it! I cannot work in such an environment! No one can tell me if anyzing has been done," she snapped and stood up abruptly. She slipped the strap of her bag over her shoulder and looked defiantly at the somewhat empty and lonely office. "I'm going for my coffee break and zen perhaps speak wiz ze assistant minister!" Her blue eyes flashed dangerously and she stomped out of the office, her heels making a clacking sound on the floor.

She had to move quickly so that no one could see that she was visibly upset by the unfriendly behavior demonstrated by many in her department. No one seemed to want to work with her. Perhaps it was her French accent after all....

"Level Six, just go down there, go into the portkey office and ask for a licence" Rebecca nodded "I actually came in to tell you that i am now your Division Head and Ms O'Connor had problems so she had to leave" Rebecca smiled

Rebecca nodded "Busy aswell, we are working on the laptop thing and now the stealing money purses!" Rebecca nodded "I have to keep checking up on all four divisions, but this one needs me most" Rebecca sighed
