Committee on Experimental Charms

This committee is in charge of handling any experiments that wizards and witches conduct using spellwork. If someone presents a new spell that they "invented" to the committee, it is their job to determine whether or not the new spell is dangerous or not, and whether it should be registered. Also, if any reports of dangerous experiements come in, the committee should take care of the situation IMMEDIATELY. If you have some free time, it is all encouraged that you dabble in experimentation yourself to come up with some new charmed objects for us!

Don't forget to fill out reports by the due date!

Thomas was now making a tapping noise with his feet. He was charming his parchments to float up and down on his desk. Andi made him feel completely insane and this feelings were so strong he just couldn't contain them or else he might blow up. He read Andi's answer and wrote his own.

" Not sure you would like that? If that jealousy ?? Working out in the field would be perfect, I would love that, but if you're not going it won't be that funny " he drew a sad face " what are you going to do this weekend ?"

He sealed the parchment and got up. He walked whistling and dropped it on Andi's desk. He went to the middle of the office and looked around " I think a bit of music wouldn't harm would it?" he said as he conjured a small rectangular box, a wizard's radio " back in Italy we did our office work always with a little bit of music, to make things easier" he stated. He tapped the radio and it began to play. He made his way back to his desk and sat waiting for the answer.

Still shooting a suspicious glance at Thomthom, Margot accidentally sliced her finger with the request sheets in her hands. She winced and dropped the pile of paper on the desk with a soft thud.

She squeezed her finger til the blood dripped one drop. She eyed the cut closely and rummaged her purse for a bandage. She believes in using magic only if there is no choice. In this case, a bandage will do just fine to cover up the little slice in her finger.

She smiled at Andrina and showed a thumbs up.

Well, I will certainly try to see if I can set it up, but I warn you, I might not be there.. She thought for a second..This weekend, hmm not sure.. hanging out with you? Would you like to go dancing? She smiled at that thought as she sealed the parchment, and then floated the parchment to Thomas's desk...

Margot's calling Thomas "Thom." Really was grating on her nerves now. His name was Thomas.. even she didn't call him "Thom..." She grit her teeth in slight irritation as she noticed Margot run out of the room. A simple spell could have helped the cut.. unless.. she was trying to garner attention from Thomas.. Andrina shook her head.. she was thinking to much.. Unless Thomas ran out after her, then.. She sighed..

Margot whooshed back into her seat. Andrina was looking at her all weird. She wonders why. It was just an over reacting cut on her finger. She smiled at Andrina.

"I'm alright, really,"Margot assured her.

"I'm just..."she trailed off.

"I'm just hemophilic and anemic, which does me no good at all,"Margot explained.

"But I'm alright,"she reassured Andrina.

Since Margot rejected his help he walked peacefully to his desk when he saw and intrigued look in Margot's face. She was sending suspicious looks to his magical radio. Protective of me... he repeated to himself and grinned. Dancing... he was exuberant in the dance hall, he enjoyed himself very much. When he was at Hogwarts and they did these common room parties he would always rule the dance floor. He wrote " It's a date lady, we shall go dancing!" and sent it flying to her.

Andrina smiled widely at Thomas as he flew a parchment back to her. She opened it quickly, filled with anticipation and then smiled. She hurriedly picked up a quill in her slim white fingers and scratched a hurried reply.
A date ehh? I shall look forward to it! She sealed the parchment and winged it over to Thomas's desk. She pushed a stay lock of black hair behind her ear and adjusted the dark navy blue blouse she was wearing with a pencil skirt. She looked around and then carefully slid her feet out of her high, shiny black heels and wiggled her toes around in relief on the carpeted floor. I hate heels.. She thought to herself, mentally going over her wardrobe in regards of what to wear when they went dancing. She had just settled on her short, purple shimmery dress when she heard Thomas muttered something under his breath. That sounded remarably like ThomThom She thought her eyes narrowing

"Did you say something?" She asked her purple eyes sparkling with mirth and a slight hint of jealously. She shook her head, her magnificent blackish, blue locks flying around in her ponytail as she did so. To look at him, one would think he is Enjoying making me feel this way.. She mused softly as her heart skipped a couple beats at the smile he sent her way.

Why is she giving me stares?The shifty eyes...the..back and forth look at Thomthom. The ... Oh goodness me!! Am I going to be fired?

Margot's eyes showed a hint of fear now. She went back to filling request sheets, looking for one that had magical invisible gloves. She found one close enough.

Contego Phalanges!

Finger/toe bone protection...should be like some sort of cushioning charm right?

Margot pointed her wand at her left hand and muttered CONTEGO PHALANGES!! There wasn't any change at first. So, she decided to take a whole pile of paper and inflict a paper cut to see if it actually invisibly gloved her hand.

*SLICE*

The pain was intense as she paper cut 3 fingers quite deeply. She turned her chair around to face the wall so that Andrina and Thomas couldn't really see what she was doing, and made it look like she was reaching for something in the shelves behind her. The blood was running realllllyy quick. She bit her bottom lip. She closed her palm.

Margot couldn't move her fingers. They were locked in place!!And her fingers were still bleeding, furiously. She got up from her seat and hid her left hand in her coat pocket and holding her cup in the other hand. She made her way out of the office, but paused at the door to ask something.

"Anyone want hot water for tea?"her face wasn't so friendly now, but there was still a smile...or what's left of a smile under pain and panic. She could feel her pocket getting wet.

Margot poked her head back in the Office. She thought she heard someone talk to her. She kept only her head in view.

"What was that? Last minute hot water?"Margot said in a hurry.

There wasn't much response because Thomthom and Andrina were conversing with each other.

"No? Okay, I'll see you in a bit,"Margot dashed off to the Accidental Magic Reversal Office. Clearly, her left hand was cemented AND bleeding uhh...profusely? Well, all she knows was her blood isn't going to clot fast enough to stop it from flowing more.

Andrina frowned heavily as Thomas pulled back from her, It's not like she didn't want to kiss him, it was she was just afraid they would get into trouble. And then..he started to pace and talk about Margot? She frowned more as he took off out the door. "What? Thomas.. Wait!!" She called to him, but it was too late he was already gone. "I..." She looked around her empty office. What was going on here?

Thomas entered the office, it had been what? 3 days since the Margot's incident? He entered and noticed he was the first to enter there that day, well it was pretty early, the sun had not risen yet. The office looked perfectly clean from Margot's bloody drops.

He had stayed with her the first 3 days at St Mungus. It revealed itself to have some consequences, so they kept her there to keep her under tight observance. And he stayed there, feeling responsible. Not knowing why, but he felt like he should be there.

But it had been also 3 days since he last saw Andi, he didn't have the chance to write to her, not even a quick note on the bottom of a healing brochure, nothing. He felt dry inside, empty, though his mind kept Andi's perfume perfectly stored, he was thirsty of it like an alcoholic for buzz.

He sat on his desk, took his cloak and revealed his black shirt. He saw a pile of papers on his desk, he had all this work to get done. He looked over at Margot's desk and there was a hole other mount of paper there too, he summoned it with his wand and it came flying and landed on the floor, next to the table. He then began reading and separating the papers. No more testing for this girls, he thought to himself, I will do it now. Lady's are too fragil.

After what seemed like years, he raised his head from the papers and saw a tinny bit of light entering through the enchanted windows. The sun was rising. He sighed and saw that he had almost done his pile. He rested his face on his palms. Andi... where are you? He though. The feeling inside of him was fighting now that he was there, in that office, full of her things.

Andrina walked into the office and stopped cold as she saw Thomas. Sitting there, looking perfect as usual in his black shirt. She blinked and suddenly her mouth felt dry and she was unable to speak. It had been three days, three long days. She adjusted her dark navy skirt and adjusted her silver shirt and pushed her hair, that she had left loose behind her ear. Her heart was pounding, and she wasn't sure where they stood now. " Good.. Good Morning.." She finally managed to get out. "I hope Margot is okay.." she said lamely, as she looked up at him, her emotions were churning inside of her, and she was unable to do much of anything else. "Thomas.." her face crumpled for a second...

Thomas, with his face on his hands heard the soft sound of footsteps on the floor, coming from the elevator. He heard them with attention and was surprised to feel them coming in. He didn't raise his head immediately, he was begging to Merlin, to be Andi when a voice spoke. He could recognize that voice so easily it scared him. It was Andrina.

She said good morning and asked for Margot in a very lame voice, he looked up at her frowning, slightly as she said his name and made an odd face. " Good Morning..." he said expectantly, that was not the welcome he was counting on " Margot is going to be fine, I think she is at home now... Andi, I... I've missed you" he said to her, smiling tenderly, waiting for her to give him one of those dazzling smiles of her.

He wasn't going to ask for much, like her, walking into the room, spotting him and running to his lap to fill him with kisses and love whispers, but, in the other hand, this was the complete opposite, she was being rather cold, was there something going on? Thomas couldn't understand. She can't possibly be mad about me being with Margot, someone had to take her there, and make sure she was ok.... he though, and it wasn't correct to be someone from another department and since the office can't really work without the boss around, the only option was really him.

He eyed the pile of papers on her desk too, and looked down at Margot's pile now resting near his desk. He looked up at Andi again waiting for her to answer, to say something.

Andrina held onto her composure right up until Thomas said that he missed her. That was all it took. Tears started streaming from her eyes as she rushed over to him and knelt before him. "Thomas.." She whispered brokenly as she grasped his hand tightly. " I've missed you so much.." She looked up at him, tears still coming from her purple eyes.

"You didn't write, or owl.. I was so worried.. It was so empty here without you. I didn't sleep much.. I..." All of her words were coming out in a rush. And she leaned up and kissed his cheek softly. " Please.. I can't bear it if you leave like that again. Without barely a word..." Her hand came up to caress his cheek softly, as she pulled herself closer to him. "Thomas.." She laid her head om his chest, trying to breathe, trying to convince herself that everything was alright now. Now that he was here.

When tears started filling Andi's eyes Thomas couldn't believe it, what did I say? Was his first thought, but then she kneeled before him, kissed his....cheek? Saying disconnected this, asking for him no to leave. And then he understood that those tears where of maybe happiness, from seeing him. He felt his own eyes twinkle with water. He hold her close to him, while she rested her head on his chest. He caressed her hair and kissed her head.

"Well, I'm here now love, and I won't be going anywhere" he told her softly in nothing more than a whisper.

Andrina felt relief flood through her as Thomas caressed her hair and kissed her head, she also felt shivers of desire run through her, but the one thing that made her feel like she was going to fly, was his word "Love.." Love? Did he just call me love? Does he love me? Or is that just a nickname? Whatever it was, she didn't care. She.. she loved him too. "I'm glad Love.." The word slipped easily from her lips, like she had been born to say it to him. It was an odd feeling, the feeling of destiny, like the world was aligning as she held him tightly. "I missed you so much,," She whispered as she raised her face to his, she wanted to kiss him so badly, but to do it there, in the middle of the office, they might get into trouble. She slowly ran her hand up his arm, tingling more as she felt the muscles of his arm. Her heart started to beat faster and she found that it was hard to breathe as her eyes locked with his.

"Thomas..." She whispered softly. "Perhaps we should go.. somewhere.." She said in a passion filled whisper.

Love... the word sounded even better when it was said by Andi's doll lips, in her velvet voice... He felt so peaceful now that she was there, yet other need raised from his heart, he wanted to touch her skin, to kiss her lips, he wanted to be with her so much...

Thomas held to Andi's last words like they were oxigen, yes I want to get out of here with you very very much he though, flame dancing behind the greenish of his eyes, making them wilde.

He got ups carefully and helped Andi do the same, holding her hand, feeling electricity shooting throw his veins. "Maybe we should...somewhere, I'll follow you" he said to her, and they left the office together.
