Andrina smiled widely at Thomas as he spoke and pulled his hair back. she found that she wasn't exactly paying close attention to him as a co-worker, or even her employee.. but as an attractive man. His black hair was nice, as was his smile. Get it together Andi... Pull yourself together...She thought as she tried to reign in her thoughts. "Yes, that is what it seems like." She said as she pushed a lock of her long black hair behind her ears. "Actually, I haven't had a chance to see how this works, but i am looking forward to the insanity." She said grinning. "How much experience do you have in charms?" She asked leaning on the desk a bit.

"Hi Thomas, Margot,"Elizabeth said and shook his hand.

Elizabeth(Margot) went back to her seat to look for some charms to approve or try.

Brilliant!This job is soooooo cool!!!I don't ever have to take a vacation if Piper can do that every week. Hahaaa

Elizabeth chuckled silently. She looked up at Thomas and her new boss. There was something going on there. She went back to her pile of papers, mostly the guidelines.

Thomas grinned again " I have some experience, I spent 4 year in Holland, working with lots of different subjects of magic, I was a bit of a Do-It-All-Man if that's the correct term, you see, anyproblem that appeared I was expected to resolve it, so I got the chance to deal with some nasty charms too" He said that with a small smile twitching the corner of his lips. He was very proud of his years abroad. " And you, from which broomstick did you fall here?" he said joking.

Thomas saw another woman, another co-worker enter. She was just like Snow White from the muggles fairy tale stories. After she entered a strawberry scent reached Thomas nose and he scratched it. "Hi Margot" he answered as he shook her hand. He observed her going to her desk and going through the pile of papers there. He looked at his own papers "Hm, so I guess this is work, Margot, can you tell me" he looked at Andrina " us " he added with playful smile "what the new assignments are?".

Andrina looked at Thomas as he spoke and she ran a hand through her hair as she smiled at him. "Well that will definitely come in handy here. I am sure you will be a great asset to our team here." She laughed at his next question, " Well, I came from America, I was the head of the charms department in San Fransisco." She said as she watched him look at Margot.. Ahhhh... so he is one of them.... She thought to herself as she observed his way with the other girls.. A man who loves the ladies.. and I'm so.. susceptible to them.. She tried to force a smile, as Thomas joked with her. "I suppose that is my job to give out the assignments.." She said softly.. as she walked shakily to her desk.

Thomas raised one of his strong dark eyebrows "Uhm America ? Never been there..." he commented "but I've met people from there" he said. "I suppose that is my job to give out the assignments" Andrina said. Yeah, I know you're the boss... he thought while watching Andrina walk to her desk maybe that was her trying to tell me something he thought again while continued observing her. Those purple eyes weren't very common and she was indeed very pretty. He looked around to Snow White girl and then again to Andrina. He sat behind his desk and, since all desks faced the center of the room, his desk was apart from Andrina's by a few tables. He stayed there for a few moments and then got up and went to Andrina's table with a twinkle on his feline eyes he said "Oh here are those informations you asked for" and left a piece of parchment he had written. He returned to his table trying not to smile.

The parchment said: "what do you people here do for fun? I've been wondering alone on Diagon Alley since I came back"

Andrina smiled a bit as Thomas spoke. " America is very beautiful, perhaps one day you should come to see it." She said softly as she walked to her desk. She tried to concentrate on her work but she kept stealing glances over at Thomas. Andi!! Get it together, he is your employee.. But despite the thoughts that were whirling through her head.. She couldn't get the man out of her head.

She tried to look down at her desk when all of a sudden Thomas walked up and dropped a piece of parchment on her desk. She read the note again, and again as her eyes went wide. Is he asking me out?" She wondered to herself as she found herself unable to breathe. She took a deep breath, tried to concentrate and reached for a quill..

She walked over to Thomas's desk and put a piece of parchment on his desk as well. "Actually, this wasn't quite what I had in mind, could you search for a bit more?" She asked as she walked back to her desk.

The parchment read :We go to the Leaky Cauldron, or other places like that. Perhaps one day I could wander with you, so you don't have to be alone?"

When Thomas sat on his desk he was trying very, very, hard not to smile. That had been a dangerous move, there was a big chance she answered something like "Non of your business" or even "Well, me and my husband.." but he didn't see a wedding ring and she looked too young to be married, but that didn't mean she didn't have a boyfriend. When she came to his table he tried to look relaxed. She handed him another piece or parchment andsaid something like that was not what she had in mind. Ups, negative answer. But when he read what it said and couldn't contain a big grin. She was offering herself to wander with him. That was good. He used the same parchment and wrote.

"That sounds good, what you do suggest? This weekend?"

He rubbed his chin and looked at Margot by the corner of his eye. She looked distracted, maybe the exchange of notes was happening smoothly.
He touched the parchment with his wand and it floated low and landed on Andrina's desk once more. If she accepted they could go to the Leaky Cauldron and have a ButtterBeer or a Firewhisky.. talk a little, get to.. know each other.

Andrina found herself glancing up at Thomas as he read the note, and she saw that she liked the big grin that crossed his face when he read the note. She busied herself with paperwork a dreamy grin crossing her face as she looked at her other employees, thankfully they hadn't seemed to notice what was going on between her and Thomas.

Suddenly she felt a soft flutter by her elbow and then looked and saw that another note had been conjured there. She tried to control the flutter in her heart as she read the note, then tried to control the flutter even more as she responded.. This weekend sounds good..Friday night?"

She softly levitated the note so it landed on Thomas's desk...right next to his elbow..

While he waited for the answer he reclined himself a little on the chair and put one of his hands behind his head, massaging his scalp. He was eyeing Andrina's reaction and he couldn't tell for sure but... did she... flutter ? It seamed like it, at least while she was reading the note. That was a good sign, he liked that she reacted to him, made him feel...good. Then he felt a light flutter on the arm still on the table. He looked down and found the answer. He looked up trying to meet Andrina's gaze and smiled widely. Only moving his lips he said 'perfect' and winked at her. He got himself a date on his very first day at job. Good for you kid, he thought happily. Maybe I should get to work now he looked down at the papers on his table, now really intending to read them.

Andrina was watching Thomas carefully as he read the parchment, She saw him look down and then he smiled and winked at her. Dear Merlin what a smile like that did to her.. and those eyes...She smiled back widely at him, as she caught what he mouthed to her. She pretty much melted down into a puddle of Andi right there in the office. She leaned forward, trying to concentrate on her work, but all she was really doing was trying to re capture her sanity and her thoughts. She opened her eyes and flashed the purple orbs towards Thomas one more time before looking back at her papers.

"I.. think I need something to drink.." She said softly as she got up and moved out the door to get herself a cold cup of water... She took a deep breath out in the hall before returning to her desk..Dear.. Merlin..

Thomas, that was really trying to concentrate felt like he had just been hit on the chest with a spell when Andrina shot him a deep look with those amazing purple eyes. He shook his head lightly while Andrine went outside to get a cup of water. He thought about following her, but he restrained himself that could be too too much. He just sat there counting the drips of ink that his quill was dropping on the piece of parchment he was writing in. He cleaned it all with a touch of his wand and returned to the paper, but thoughts like what to say on Friday, what to order, kept interrupting him. I'm getting fired before I can get to know her at all, c'mon WORK!. He looked up again at Andrina. Well he had to admit, it was strange. He had met lots of women, really, he had met all kinds of girls. The italian girls were his favorite brilliant witches and very beautiful. But there was something about his Andrina girl, woman, he corrected mentaly, that just dazzled him. Imagine that, him, being dazzled instead of dazzling. That's a new one. Let's see where this goes...

Andrina was trying so hard to settle down at her desk with her papers, she had several things to sort through, and to get done before she could actually find that she was ready to be sent on any missions..However, her mind and her eyes kept drifting back to Thomas. She found herself just watching him, and her mind would drift to Friday night, about what to wear, and what to say and to try to not make a fool of herself. She quickly turned her eyes back to her paperwork and stared at the same line, reading it over and over again, trying to get her mind back on work, instead of her incredibly handsome employee that had her completely and totally dazzled. Concentrate Andrina, concentrate!! She chided her self as she shuffled papers around on her desk, trying to make sense of the disorder that was there. I wonder what he will think of my silver dress? She wondered to herself as she picked up another piece of parchment and attempted to make sense of it.

He had been working for a few hours now, hours that were interrupted by many thoughts that had nothing to do with what he was dealing with...- A witch that invented an eye reverser charm wants to get it registered, Andrina eyes are very pretty, no one should reverse them..- Thomas shook his head and kept reading the parchment. The other workers were so silent... when he worked on Italy it was a mess, they were all talking out-loud in that beautiful language. He always felt like one of those silly muggle actors, what's his name... 009? Can't really remember, but it just made him feel THE man.

Andrina found the silence in her office was not helping her state of mind. As she sat at her desk, slogging through all of the cases that had been solved by her division before she had become head of it, all she could think of was Thomas. A warlock invented a charm that made your smile extra dazzling.. Thomas's smile was dazzling her..Merlin! Get it together.. But she couldn't. There was no getting it together when Thomas was just feet from her. She looked up suddenly, and looked at Thomas, and smiled widely, and then looked down at her parchment. She could do.. this.. Okay maybe she couldn't.. It was too quiet in here.. She started to mutter in one of the three languages she knew. Italian... He has such beautiful eyes... She said softly to herself, hoping no one knew that language.. She continued reading, glad that quitting time was coming soon.

Thomas was just in a middle of a sentence when he hear Andrina's voice very low saying He has such beautiful eyes. His head snapped up once more, nearly hurting his neck and he stared at Andrina. Did she just speak italian? And perfect italian ? He just couldn't believe it, it must have been his ears that heard that familiar language because he was thinking about it. But no, she DID speak italian. Thomas raised from his sit slowly and approached Andrina's table "join me for a glass of water? I think it's time for a break" he said with a smile. He planned to ask her who's eyes were pretty.

Andrina looked up from the paper she was trying hard to read. She had just read the third sentence twice when she looked up to see Thomas approaching her table. Her heart started to flutter double time and she was having an immense time trying to suck oxygen into her lungs as she watched him. She blinked up at him twice as he spoke and it took a few seconds for her twitterpated and dazzled mind to comprehend what he had to say. " Sure, that sounds good to me." She said softly as she rose from her chair gracefully and moved toward where the water was.

Once they reached the water Thomas filled up two glasses of water and gave one of them to Andrina. He drank a little observing her over the glass. " So... tell me, whose eyes are pretty,bella donna?" he asked naturally like he was asking about the weather, adding in the end a compliment, disguised in perfect Italian that he knew she understood. Maybe he was wrong, thinking she might be referring to him, but, even if she wasn't, he had the right to compliment her. He drank half glass and cleaned his mouth with the back of his hand.

Andrina blinked her pretty purple eyes at Thomas as he handed her a drink of water, and she heard his question. He had understood her?? How could he have known what she was saying? Did he speak Italian too?She wondered as she carefully took a small sip of water, attempting not to choke on it as he complimented her. Beautiful woman...She translated in her head as he spoke.. "I was talking about your eyes.." She said in a soft voice, as she blushed and turned away from him slightly, she put the water glass to her lips and attempted to take another sip, but it was nearly impossible. She felt dizzy, and yet alive all at the same time.

He smiled, he felt the smile spread on his face wildly, he couldn't control it. She was talking about him.He observed her blushing after admitting she was talking about him. The color went marvelous with her skin tone and her eyes. She, a beautiful woman, one of the most beautiful he had the pleasure to meet, thought that he had beautiful eyes. Well I know my eyes are quite exquisite, he thought arrogantly, but to know she thinks the same... Plus, she spoke Italian too, she was intelligent and funny and spoke Italian! " You see.. during my years abroad I spend 3 years on Italy.." He explained with a grin running his fingers through his hair. He felt a urge to touch her hair but he controlled himself. This is going too fast, he thought, I have to control myself before I treat her like I KNOW she doesn't deserve. He looked at his wrist watch it was time to go home. " I hope you don't mind us continuing this conversation tomorrow" he told Andrina, giving her a deep look, trying to expel all the power in his eyes on hers " tomorrow we will have lots of time to really talk". He brushed his fingers on her arm on his way back to his desk to collect his things looked at Andrina end winked at her before leaving the Department.

Andrina could barely breathe as Thomas spoke and she watched as his face light up. Maybe he liked the fact that I thought his eyes were beautiful? She wondered to herself as she looked up into his beautiful eyes. Gah that hair and his smile could melt her down. Dear Merlin... I'm going to fall hard for this one..That thought alone scared her, and yet...

"Really? You spent three years in Italy? My mother was Italian, my father was French, I know both languages fluently.. I have always wanted to go to Italy.." She explained as she watched him run his fingers through his hair. A simple gesture, and yet.. it made her stomach fill with butterflies, and caused her cheeks to heat up again. I wonder what it would feel like if he ran his hand through my hair..She idly wondered as she realized that it was time to go home for the day. "No.. I don't mind at all..." She said softly, as she looked up into his eyes and was spellbound.. he had.. to much power over her.. She couldn't think, breathe, move, exist..All she could do was gaze into his eyes..

And then the spell broke, and he had moved away, but not before his arm had brushed hers, sending sparks of electricity coursing through her body. Then he winked and she was gone again...

How long she stood staring at the spot where Thomas had stood, she didn't know.. but eventually she moved her weak body back to her desk where she fell into her chair with a soft thud. Guhh!!! She thought to herself as she laid her head on the desk.. What is happening to me?

Thomas entered the department early in the morning. He felt excited with his date that same night, thinking that maybe they would go straight to the Leaky Cauldron after work he took attention to his clothes. As he made his way to his desk he encountered a small pile of papers. He let out a small sigh and took out his winter robes, since the department had climate control system, staying just with a button-down white shirt and a black loose tie. He scratched his unshaved chin as he read some of the headlines: Leg hair removing charm, tea spoon that measures sugar... some wizards are amazing, the things they remember nail remover spell that sounds more like a jinx then a spell to me. He continued reading, giving the door furtive glances, waiting for someone to arrive.

As the hours passed him, he got more anxious by the minute. Andrina hadn't showed up yet. Was she bailing out? No no no, she had other stuff to do, couldn't make it to the office, you just go and wait her on the Leaky Cauldron and be a good boy. He mentally ordered himself. He looked to his watch once more, and gathered his things. First real day at work, lots of paperwork and stuff. He enjoyed his work, it was nice. He then left the room headed to the Leaky Cauldron.

Margot brought a cup of chamomile tea into the office and went to her desk. She sorted out the paper petitions for PLAUSIBLE and MERLIN'S BEARD! Charms brought to her table. The stack was a foot high with some coloured and perfumed paper, hoping for the good graces of the employees to approve them so they will be famous.


Margot read the first petition.

"Booger repellent. Nullus Boogerius. Upright flick, twirl hook, twirl hook."

Oh my. Is this for real? What's wrong with just sticking your finger in there and giving it a little scratch?

Margot gave the top of her nose a little scratch and took a sip of chamomile tea. She needed more chamomile tea to calm her nerves. She finished the whole cup of tea but still hasn't decided to pass or fail this charm.

She left a paperweight on the Booger Repellent petition and went out to the water dispenser to fill her cup with MORE tea. This time, she enlarged her cup, making it almost a foot tall.

She sat on her chair, sighed and thought, Why not? She put the petition under PLAUSIBLE and looked at Thomas, wondering if he had booger in his nose right now so she can try the Charm. He wasn't in his chair. She waited for Andrina to return, hoping she could bring her a victim..Uhh.. volunteer to try Booger Repellent on.

Thomas entered the room for the first time after the weekend. He looked around the room and spotted Margot. " Hi Margot " he said as he glanced over Andi's chair that was still empty. He remembered a few moments of their date and a smile raised from the corner of his lips. He sat on his desk and looked at his pile of papers. " This people want to get everything approved, I never though this would be like this " he observed a few papers quickly "last week I had a charm to reverse eyes. That's not a charm to me, it's more like a jinx" he shook his head and took his travel robes out, staying with a more comfortable work clothing. He pushed his sleeves up and started reading them.

Andrina walked into the office, and the first thing she saw was Thomas. She smiled widely, and was about to walk over to him when she saw that Margot was there. Drat! Why do other people have to be around when I just want it to be him and me? She thought to herself as she carefully greeted her two workers. "Hello Margot, Hello Thomas." She said as she settled herself in hear chair and looked at all of the papers she had to go through. She snuck a glance at Thomas and smiled again. He looked good! Even in his travel robes. She herself had dressed up a bit, wearing a black buisness suit, with a pencil skirt. Black heels, but not to high, and a blue satin shirt under her jacket. Her robes were casually put over that..and her hair.. Well it was back in a nice ponytail, that had been curled very carefully. "I hope you both had a good weekend??" She asked as she moved to get a glass of water.

Thomas looked up as Andi entered the office. He smiled at her as she smiled to him. She asked about the weekend. So we're pretending it didn't happen... " Oh my weekend was amazing, I went to the Leaky Cauldron like you told me to do" he said joking with her while he gave her quick looks. She looked really nice today, very business like, black and blue satin... Hm.. I like satin, feels really good on the skin. "How was YOUR weekend boss?" he asked, not raising his eyes from the papers, afraid they would denunciate him.
