Committee on Experimental Charms
This committee is in charge of handling any experiments that wizards and witches conduct using spellwork. If someone presents a new spell that they "invented" to the committee, it is their job to determine whether or not the new spell is dangerous or not, and whether it should be registered. Also, if any reports of dangerous experiements come in, the committee should take care of the situation IMMEDIATELY. If you have some free time, it is all encouraged that you dabble in experimentation yourself to come up with some new charmed objects for us!

Brianna nodded and picked the box up from the floor. It wasn't that large, but it was almost full. She took out the top third of the stack, noting that there were loose pages and folders, even a few flyers. "Well, it doesn't all appear to be work, so maybe we're going to get off lucky." She walked over and set the stack down on Shai's desk. "Here you go. No hurry, unless something is marked "Urgent." We just got back, so they'll just have to wait until we have everything sorted through." She smiled and took out another third and set it in her inbox on the desk. She placed the other stack on Piper's desk. "Since you're new, just read through them, sort them by what they are, and then by time needed (Urgent, Important, etc.) and we'll help you go over them. Okay?" She set the now empty box on the floor and sat back down at her desk.

"Okey..." Piper replied as she took a look at the papers and files and started reading them, placing them according what they were. Her stack hadn't no Urgent files or papers... Just some Important and other forms. She kept on placing files and papers according to their type. A huge pile of papers and files that were noted important, was on her right. In the middle, two paper read "Urgent" and to the left, another pile of paper that didn't mention anything on them.

Shai started sorting through her papers. Wow, she thought to herself, there sure are a lot of random flyers in here...Used brooms for sale...tea leaf reading party...
She continued sorting and tossing out old flyers. In tossing out the flyers she substantially reduced the amount of papers on her desk.
Here we are. Now the real work starts! She thought to herself.
Shai ended up with 3 stacks on her desk, the smallest one being 'Urgent' and the largest one being 'Important'. There were even a few not market at all that she set off to the side of her desk. She began reading with the pile marked 'Urgent', which was only 3 files.

Brianna leafed slowly through her stack. It appeared to all be just the normal requests for approval and such, so she didn't jump into action. She set her coffee cup down on the desk and took a random flyer out. It was bright orange and had a broom on it. The letters kept rearranging themselves, trying to persuade the holder that this broom was absolutely the best buy ever, and anyone who didn't buy it was missing out on the chance of a lifetime. She giggled as the broom tore off around the page and set it down. Next was a pamphlet about housetraining garden gnomes. She sighed expressively and sat it on top of the broom ad.
She kept going, separating the work from the ads and flyers until all had been removed. She discovered that she had no Urgent files and only a couple mundane requests for charm approvals. She sighed, nothing interesting here.
Sighing again, she looked at the door. Her stomach was growling and she had skipped breakfast. Glancing down at the empty coffee cup, she decided to head out and grab some lunch. "I'm going to go get some lunch," she said, with a brief glance at the time, "Anyone else hungry?"

While we see the advantages of having buildings come to us instead of us going to them, we cannot in all good conscience approve this. The sheer number of buildings zooming around to each wizard's separate location would certainly be noticed by muggles, not to mention it would completely nullify the floo network. There is also the matter of multiple wizards using the spell on the same building at the same time. The consequences of such an action could be devastating to any who were in the building, as the building would be ripped to shreds in its inability to comply with the charms being cast on it. We suggest that you find a more efficient way to travel to and from work and understand that we are placing this charm on the banned list.

Piper was pleased with the amount of work that was waiting for her. She eagerly took a paper and started reading it. It was from a man that wanted his charm approved. She read the paper a couple of time before thinking to herself. Interesting.. But I need to see what Miss. Brianna would think about it She left her desk and walked towards her head's desk.
"Sorry Mrs. Brianna... I was wondering what would your respond be towards such kind of charms?" Piper asked as she placed the letter under her boss.

Brianna looked at the paper, frowning slightly. "Personally, I really don't like charms that change the physical nature of something. So I don't think I'd perform this charm. Yes, request for him to come in. Also, in your response to him, ask him to give you a more detailed explanation as to why this charm is needed and what it could be used for. In other words, what is the practical use?" She handed the paper back. "Be sure to check your spelling and use the department seal." She smiled, glad to see such eagerness as she picked up the next paper from the stack. Ah, paperwork, she thought and read the next request.

You are asked as well to present your charm in front of the Committee on Experimental Charms. Your Jury will meet you in the 29th of February on the third floor, Committee on Experimental Charms office.

She grapped another and started reading it. It was an old letter, dating from two months ago, about a charm that allows animal to have the ability of speech for a whole day. The request also stated that the charm helps people to understand animal better.
"Hmm interesting but I guess experimenting on living things isn't allowed..." Piper thought as she asked her boss what she tought about it.
