You walk into the Division after passing through a rather heavy wooden door adorned with a "British and Irish Quidditch League Headquarters." Inside, it's a fairly simple room. The walls are grey, as are the dividers between each employee's cubicle. However, the grey says NOTHING about how lively this division is. People are always hustling and bustling about and there are constantly interdepartmental memos flying about. Currently, the office is still in restoration process after being attacked by rogue bludgers on two separate (possibly related) incidences.

At the end of the rows of cubicles, there is a door that leads into the division head's office. Inside, the shades are open to let in the beautiful sunshine behind a large, oak desk covered in papers with referee contracts and schedules and other inquiries. Next to the windows is a list of all the teams in Britain and Ireland. On the other side of the team list, there is a giant calender on which Ian writes in meetings and matches. Unless he is in the break room, the cafeteria, or mingling about the office, he's in his office.

Next to the division head's office, there is a large conference room filled only with a long oak table lined with chairs.

The environment is very warm. You can tell by the way people smile that they enjoy their work here and enjoy the people with whom the work. It's a friendly atmosphere where people genuinely care about each other.

Employees, come on in, take a seat and get to work! Feel free to mingle with your fellow employees as well! Just make sure you get your work done!

Wiley followed suit, motioning to the others to join them. With loud popping sounds, they all disapparated as a group, taking the muggle children with them.

ooc: Down to level six!

Annabelle glanced around the room, breathing heavily, trying to hold back tears. Whatever were her house-elf friends doing? She was only trying to be friendly, and now they were attacking her and travelling with her to other rooms? The young girl just didn't understand. She staggered to her feet, trying her best to avoid crashing into too many of the sharp quills along the way.

Emmett looked in awe at the followers of the mighty Gollum, trying to fix his glasses and put them back onto his face. In the process, however, he just knocked out a muddied lense from the frame. Damn. he thought, frantically trying to search for it. His hand found it a bit too forcefully, which cracked it in half. Damn damn. He grabbed the two lense pieces and stuffed them in his pocket, sighing inwardly. Father wouldn't be pleased about that. A thought brightened his mood -- he had found Gollum! He had found the center of all of Gollum's race! After this had hit the press, he certainly would have enough money to buy a new pair of glasses. Grabbing an advertisment for some sport out of the air, he stuffed that in his pocket too, grabbing Josefine's arm and smiling broadly.

The fifteen-year-old Muggle glared at her brother, tossing a bit of her hair out of her face. Oh, for goodness sake. Here they went again. As the elves grabbed a hold of them once more, she took a deep breath, preparing herself this time. They all then teleported to the next level.

Bella took a long sip from her lip-stick stained coffee cup and set it back down before eyeing the paperwork in front of her. Sighing, Bella took the nearest sheet of paper and settled back to read it. Chewing the end of her pen, Bella scanned the rest of the papers on her desk before sliding them neatly into a folder and scribbling something neatly ontop of the folder.

Bella looked in a satisfied way at the color-arranged folders on her desk. She loved when everything was organized. Now to work on that new assisgnment, Bella thought to herself, kicking off her heels under her desk and settling in for another few hours.

Ian was finally calm after the rogue bludger incident, and watched his employees get to work. How diligent! Oh, what an excellent staff he had. A small smile spread across his face...he didn't even notice the shenanigans going on...until the office supplies and papers and (yawn) bludgers began flying around.

"Not again," he muttered to himself. He stepped out into the middle of his division, and, before he could catch the culprits, heard a loud crack, which sounded like someone or something apparating. "STOP!!!!!" he shouted, unlike his character. You knew he was fed up when he let loose like that. With a wave of his wand (a rather angry wave, at that), the office supplies halted in the middle of their flight paths and dropped to the ground, and the bludgers, just as before, exploded into millions of little pieces. "Enough! What is the cause of all this?!" he shouted angrily. "At this rate, we won't have any bludgers for the Kenmare-Appleby game!"

He threw his hands up in the air and immediately stormed off to the department head's office. "THEO! IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!!!" he practically shrieked.

Bella had to admitt - she was starting to doze off in her chair. Eyes half-closed, shoes kicked off, slouched in the comfy chair... it was the perfect snooze setting. Until of course Ian started ranting and stomping up and down the office.

"W-whaaat?!" Bella jammed her feet into her shoes and stood up, looking extremely disheveled. Her pen was artfully sticking out of the messy bun ontop of her head and Bella's eye makeup looked smudgy when she poked her out from her cubicle to see what all the fuss was about.

"Something wrong...?" She asked to the open air.

Shylo leapt up from her desk and ran from her section. She smacked her head on the door frame on the way. "Whatever is going on, Ian?!" She spluttered, rubbing her forehead. "I was just getting to work on the assignment and..." Her jaw dropped open. Oh. Another bludger.

"My, my, we really must get to the bottom of this." Shylo whispered.

It wasn't exactly Cris's most eventful day at the office. And it was just his first day! He didn't have much paperwork (he assumed that'd come somewhere in the middle of his stay here. He'd probably be bombarded with them), so he decided to take a short nap in his cubicle. Lifting his feet up gently on his desk and reclining back in his office chair, Cris started to drift off to sleep when all of a sudden, Ian let out another shout.

Eh. He had to hold on to the table to keep from falling over in his surprise.

"What?! What happened?" Cris said in a very slightly panic-stricken voice as he poked his head out of the cubicle, still in his office chair, just in time to see Ian storm out, screeching Theo's name. The office-supply-and-bludger-bit mess in the middle of the room also didn't go unnoticed. "Man, is he overworked," he muttered to himself as he shook his head, and shrugged lightly at Bella and Shylo who had also acknowledged the incident. Whatever was going on around here, it wasn't anything good.

Bella stood there, deeply confuzzled when Shylo poked her head out and mentioned a bludger. Ohh - that wasn't good. Rubbing her temples, Bella looked over at Cris and nodded in agreement. Ian = in desperate need of a longggg vacation.

"He also might be in need of coffee." Bella suggested, holding up her own empty styrafoam coffee cup. But someone in need of coffee was always Bella's solution to a problem. What could she say? She was a coffee addict.

Cris shook his head slightly as the door closed behind Ian. He then looked over at Bella and cocked an eyebrow. "Erm, yeah. Coffee works," he said with a rather unconvincing nod. Coffee did relax him at times, but more often than not, it gave him this jolt of energy that made him too hyper for his own good. Oh well. Maybe it could work with Ian.

"So anyway," he directed at Bella and Shylo as he reclined his office chair again an put his hands behind his head. "Have you ladies heard of the wedding?" He had the right mind to ask one of them (or both of them, if he could) to be his, er, companion for the wedding. Date seemed like such an inappropriate word yet, since he had just joined the Department.

Shylo lifted her brown eyes to look at Cris, and she smiled politely. "Ohh yes I love weddings." She said softly, her eyes brightening at the word. Weddings were beautiful, although there was nobody who she would want to wed herself. Except Alexander.

"Are you going?" Shylo asked.

"Yep. Well, I was invited, so I guess I kind of have to go," Cris said, shrugging. "I've never been to a Ministry Wedding before. And one with a color-coded dress code!" It was a good thing he had a black tuxedo of his own, because he didn't want any of his other suits to be turned to black as well, or worse... Purple. Shudder.

"Are you girls going?" That's right. Slowly bring up the topic, Cristoph.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to this wedding. It could be fun! Hey maybe we can show the other departments that we party better than they ever could." Luce smirked and thought about the dress code. "I will not wear purple. Over my dead body. I'll wear a black dress. If you guys decide to come, I'll see you there." With that, Luce got up and walked out of the office to the eighth floor for what should be an interesting wedding.

"Of course! I positively adore weddings." Bella exclaimed, tossing her empty coffee cup into the nearby trash and clapping her hands together. Of course she loved the dressing up and coordinating her outfit. And then there was the happy couple. Bella always cried at weddings. They were too sweet.

Her brown eyes shifted their gaze towards a co-worker, Luce, as she appeared in front of them. Bella smiled at her, "Of course. See you there then Luce!" Bella said, waving the woman goodbye as she walked away.

"So. Are we going or not?!" She asked, turning back to Cris and Shylo and beaming.

"There's something to look forward to," Cris said with a smirk upon hearing Luce's idea of showing what kind of party people the folks from the Games and Sports department were really like. Be jealous. He nodded and waved at her as she left, then turned to the two remaining girls.

"Well, I guess I won't be able to ask Luce anymore, but would one, or maybe both of you ladies, if you fancy, like to accompany me to the wedding?" He asked casually with a smile. He was also relieved that Bella was already ready and willing to go. Well, time to bring out his tux.

After his arduous trek to the First Level, Ian was beat. He huffed and puffed his way into his office of ruins. They could be mistaken for ancient ruins, it was so awful. He took one look at it and just sighed. He hated cleaning, even though it would all be fixed (for the most part) with a few flicks of his wand. 'Twas not much of a problem at all, really.

However, in order to serve as an example to his employees and not worry them, he walked confidently, wand in hand (and lowered) into his office. He shut the door, magicked a flashing "Busy" message onto his door, and got to work.

There was cleaning spell after cleaning spell here and there, and eventually, his office was....as good as it could be. Where was the magical cleaning staff when you needed them most?

Shylo peered at Bella and Cris. It seemed they were already set to go. "You two go. I'll carry on in here for a bit longer." She gestured to her stacks of papers. She only wished to go with one person. Although Cris did seem like a lovely man.

"See you later." She smiled.

And then Ian came up from wherever he'd been. Although he did look a bit happier than before, Bella also felt guilty leaving him here to do work.

She beamed at Bella and Cris, and walked towards them, transforming her robes to a pale lilac as she went. Yuck. She hated purple. But it was better than black; for her anyway. Black made her look plain.

Cris watched Bella's and Shylo's exchange carefully, from Shy's announcement that she'd be staying to do some work, to Bella persuading her and succeeding, and back to Shy, requesting they go already. As soon as he confirmed they were ready, he changed his outfit to a black suit (his ONLY black tux, mind. He didn't like black, but he hated purple more). Still, in this tux, he looked quite dashing.

"Ladies," he said, offering his arm to each one, and proceeding to the ceremony.

Shylo watched Cris change into his black robes. He looked rather dashing, if she was honest. She took his arm and beamed. "Let's go! I do believe we're a bit late." She said, glancing at her watch. "Never mind. Let's just move quickly!" Smiling, they made their way towards the door, and to the ceremony.

So now that the wedding was over, Ian was looking forward to get back to work. He was all for his employees having fun and enjoying the marriage of the Minister, but there was work to be done, questions to be asked, and mysteries to be solved. He sat in his office, politely waiting for the arrival of his employees.

He wasn't expecting them anytime soon, though, so he occupied himself with counting the spots on the ceiling.

"One....two....three.............eighty-seven.......six hundred and thirty-nine.......two thousdand five hundred and twenty-one...shoot. Lost count. One....two...." and so the counting continued.

Shylo walked back into the office, glad to be rid of those horrific purple robes. Bleurgh. Lilac was not her colour. She pulled her hair back into its usual bun and smiled at Ian. "Hullo sir. Have fun at the wedding?" She asked, beaming.

She plonked herself down in her seat.

Sir? What was this nonsense? "Now, Shylo, remember that 'sir' is only to be used when the Minister is around." He chuckled and looked at her accusingly, yet playfully.

Anyway, in answer to her question he said, "'S a matter of fact, I didn't actually go to the wedding. Too much to be done around here, with all these security breaches and whatnot. But did you enjoy yourself at the wedding? That's what really matters." He looked around the office. Things were still....off. There was a stapler stuck on the wall, and pencils littered the floor, but his gut didn't allow for him to stoop down and pick them up....at least, not if he wanted to remain standing.

Yes....there was much to be done....and in his going over the to-do list mentally, he wondered if Reagan had received his note.

Shylo sucked the end of her quill thoughtfully, and then scribbled the next paragraph of her letter. She blushed slightly. "Sorry sir...Ian." She corrected herself. Meeeh. It would take her a while to get used to the whole informal thing. But whatever. She'd try.

Wait...WHAAA? He hadn't gone. To the biggest wedding of the century. MEEEEEP! Shylo suddenly felt kinda, sorta...very very very quilty.

"Oh sir, Ian, sir. I'm so very sorry!" Shylo squeeked, leaping up from her chair and spilling ink all over her papers. "I should have stayed and I so sorry Mister Ashby, sir...Ian." She flustered.

"No worries, no worries," Ian said jovially. "Just trying to keep the workplace a comfortable place to work. Tell you what: why don't you just call me whatever you're comfortable with?" He smiled warmly at Shylo. She was probably his top employee, and she deserved it for the amount of hard work she put in.

Ian chuckled at her reaction. "No, no. It's not like that. Sometimes, I just like having the office to myself. It lets me sit and think, you know?" His eyes glazed over for a brief second as he started at the ceiling. "Don't worry about it, Shylo. I don't even really like weddings, anyway, and this was all stuff that I had to do. It was not work for you or any of the others, but thank you for your concern." His smile faltered for a split second as his mind went back to the image of the office in tatters.

"Well, then, shall we get back to work? I don't think we're waiting on responses from anyone, so really, it looks like we just need to make sure that Talon guy, or whatever the heck his name is, meets with Theo...and....we need new equipment!"
