Jessica's hand ACHED. No, really. Who knew that writing could be so bloomin' tiring? Well, it most certainly was. Shaking her hand around furiously for the millionth time, she let her quill drop after FINALLY writing up the upcoming events on Cooper's campaign. She practically needed toothpicks to hold her eyes open; she really hadn't expected so much work when signing up for the job. But then again, she hadn't really expected to be working with such a lovely man as Teal, which did ease the stress a tad. Or a lot, either way. Plus, he was devastatingly handsome. She'd heard a long the grapevine that he had a girlfriend, but she could still look right? Right.

Looking up from her work as Teal announced a gathering in the common room, Jessica beamed. Yes, the meeting they had been discussing in the lunch break. Snatching up her notepad and pen, she darted to his side and scribbled a few quick notes on the top of her page. "Right, let's get this campaign running then," she murmered, eyes on the tip of her quill, which was scratching away madly. Finishing with a full STOP - practically punching through the filmy paper - she grinned up at Teal. "Okay, all set." And with that, she marched into the common room.

Goodness, coffee was all that was keeping her going, wasn't it?

His brow furrowwed as he ripped up another piece of parchment tossing it into the bin which was quickly filling up with scraps. Who knew drawing posters and other paraphernalia was so hard Gremlok mused, grumbling to himself. Re-dipping his quill he created a masterful piece of art. "Finally" he grumbled again, scratching the little wisp of hair on top of his head. He needed coffee, stat.

He was on his way when he heard the announcement. Good he needed a break he figured, stretching his arms behind his back as he entered the common room, ignoring everyone as he got a cup of coffee, daring anyone to interupt him. With his black coffee finally in hand he took a sip, scowling. Where was his special brew? He'd have to remember to bring it next time he came in. Sitting down he nodded to Teal saying curtly, "I'm here." Honestly he didn't have time for this; he needed to send a quick owl to the other goblins at the bank checking in on them. Taking out a fresh clean piece of parchment he waited.

Seriously.

Teal beamed as, Amber…? He was blanking on the last name unfortunately. Anyhow, she was in attendance first. “G’day.” He said a bit tiredly. Long day it had been, subsequently he took a swig from his coffee. He turned around and looked through the bottom drawer of his desk, he had gotten so unorganized it was disgusting. After shuffling for a few moments, he finally found it. Standing back up to face the room, he sat down on his desk to face everyone.

Ms. Woods was now in attendance, and Jessica was making her way in as well. GOOD, so he wasn’t completely being ignored. He gestured for Jessica to come and stand over by him so she could explain her part as well. Oh yes. Good old Gremlok was walking in now too. He didn’t look too happy, most Goblins didn’t though so it was ago. Teal grinned softly before he addressed everyone.

“Alright then, everyone else is going to head in soon.” He hoped. “So I’ll go ahead and start.” He informed them lazily, opening his folder. “Advertising, I walked down Diagon Ally yesterday and Hogsmeade this morning. Not a SINGLE advertisement out.” He wasn’t mad, just disappointed. He had seen plenty for Reagan, and well, if Reagan won the election then that would make his job under her rein awkward. “So please, try and make banners and flyers tonight so you all in the advertising committee can use tomorrow to post them up.” That was important, even though Cooper was already Minister he DID need a lot of good publicity; there where quite a few he disliked him extremely.

“As for research…” He continued on. “We haven’t made considerable headway either. I want you guys to find the best locations for Cooper to give his speech. Somewhere a lot of people will be and could congregate. The bigger the turn out, the better our chances. Also, start getting some idea’s on what some of the questions might be in the first debate.” He’d help them some with that if Jessica was busy, but she was pretty strong with speech writing… she’d likely be busy there.

“And speech writing…” He said, looking to Jessica, “What do you have for us Jessica?” Hopefully she had something to elaborate on, surely she did. She was a hot clever witch.

Practically digging her heel into the ground, Jessica came to a stand still. Oh! Teal was beckoning her over. She turned, and walked to stand by him, ticking people off as they entered the common room. From what she'd seen in the applications, they were at a slight disadvantage with numbers; Reagan's campaign had considerably more people.

Jessica's lips pursed as Teal mentioned no advertising. She wrote a quick note to herself, jotting down to put up flyers and posters around her house (when they had been made). She really wasn't prepared to let Reagan's face be shown on every piece of paper that littered the streets and, similar to what Teal was thinking, her job would become increasingly awkward if she won the campaign. She nodded in agreement with her co-worker at the mention of posting propaganda; it was of the highest importance. If you saw enough of Reagan all over the place, you began to believe in her.

Smiling as Teal handed over to her, Jessica cleared her throat. "Yes, good afternoon everyone," she batted her eyelids at them all. Goodness, she was terribly sickly sweet. "As you all know, I am Jessica Peaches, and will be working with you all on the speech writing front of things. I had to work on the recent speech which Cooper made at Hogwarts alone with the Minister, and it did prove difficult. Which is why we must work together on this. I am always intreged to hear all of your ideas, and it would help greatly if we can start brainstorming. Make speeches yourselves! Advertise COOPER in the midst of Diagon Alley! It isn't only Cooper who is to make speeches; we should as well! Tell the Wizarding Community why Cooper is the right choice, because WE all know that he is!"

Golly, she got to passionate when she was talking about her opinions!

"We need Cooper to have good, solid material for the upcoming debates. A good speech can sway a whole crowd, whereas a terrible speech can put people off. And sometimes," that devilishly innocent glint returned to Jessica's eyes, "sometimes we don't have to say what we think. Sometimes it's best to say what the crowd want to hear." It was true.

"Now, it would be useful for speech writers to get together with the research committee, and discuss possible venues for speeches. I would also like you all to brainstorm a slogan. Something short, snappy and inticing."

Gremlok wrote a few notes down, listening to what Teal had to say. He had to admit he was rather perturbed lately, things just hadn't been going the way he should. He sighed, placing his quill down and looking at Teal. "Is there anything particular you want written on the posters?" He asked, Gremlok had a few ideas but he wasn't the normal peppy person others were. His ideas of saying were darker than most, noticeably his last slogan for the bank which had lost more customers than brought in.

"I just want to make sure I don't waste anymore parchment coming up with posters. We would have had some out by now if my slogans weren't so ... dismal." he explained, the quill back in his hand. He turned his head towards the one called Jessica and had to admit she had a way of getting everyone's attention. He could see why she had been appointed in the speech department of things. Why could'nt this be easier? In goblin society if one wanted to be leader all they had to do was threaten their opposition and sit back waiting. Here it was so much more complicated, giving him a headache.

Tasha writes all of the new infromation down. then stands up and says "Excuse me" waiting for everyone to quite down she continued.

"I have a few questions.
first of all, for the speech writing people I think we should get together and do some brainstorming..
also" she looks over at Teal "if their isnt enough advertisting and flyers I would like to give my assistance." after saying what she had to say Tasha sat down on her chair and waited for her reply.

Teal grinned to himself as Jessica went on his her speech, geez, the woman really did like Cooper. The way her hair fell perfectly and how fierce her entrancing blue eyes… NO. Teal brought himself out of his day dream as he looked back to the rest of the committee, his dark blue eye’s looking deadly, deadly for a Brennan Cooper win.

“Agreed, I don’t care if you don’t like it. We need to make sure the community as a whole does. Sorry it that bothers you but come on people, it’s politics.” That was out of the way and Teal flipped a few pages in his folder.

Teal grinned at Gremlok. “I agree, that’s partly my fault. Hopefully we can all decide on one by the end of the day.” They had to. Then Tasha Starr piped up, Teal tilted his head in her direction. “Yeah after this meeting each of the committee’s are going to meet up separately.” Ah yes, they could definitely use any extra help they could get on advertising. “That would be great Tasha.” Teal droned, taking another sip of my coffee. “If anyone wants to help pitch in, just set whatever you make on my desk.” He lifted his cup in a sort of a ‘cheers’ fashion.

That slogan was very important, obviously they needed that done before they could make posters. He looked down at the folder, and to the slogan idea’s he had written down before going to bet last night. He frowned slightly in dismay as he noticed his son Cyrus had added something of his own when Teal was off doing something else. In that illegible, juvenile handwriting it read;

Shaking it off, Teal decided to read off the one’s he had already thought up. “So far I’ve come up with ‘The Fight Against Inadequacy. Vote Brennan Cooper’ and ‘Here’s to the past, present and future. Cooper for Minister’. What do you guys think?” Maybe they had something better.

Hallie frowned at the conversation. Same boring banter. If it kept on like this Cooper didn't have a chance. She sighed as they talked back and forth and jotted down some notes of her own. "Well, it shouldn't be too hard to convince the people to vote for Cooper. He's done a good job this term and as far as I'm concerned, if there's no war than he's been successful. The people only need to be reminded of that and more." She said it with a calm, lazy tone, as if they should've already known that. Hallie didn't like to waste time on things that she thought others should know, but she bit her tongue the best she could to save the meeting. (And possibly herself).

Places weren't that hard to find either. High traffic around Diagon Alley was usually noon, where most had their lunch breaks. Easy deal. But she was hoping that they could get a good start on writing the speeches. They were too important to delay any farther and she was aching to group together. With another lazy look around the room, she fiddled with her quill and busied herself with writing more notes of locations and topics. Something as simple as this could be done within the next hour.

Gremlok looked over to the girl who had spoken. Smiling at her in what he hoped was a nice comforting smile he replied to her comment. "It might be more difficult than you think Ma'am. Some people want a new Minister, thinking that he hasn't done his job to the best of his ability. We know otherwise so we need to show those who are against him how good he is. Put him in a good light, we know they'll use propaganda against us." he paused, thinking that was the right word. Why couldn't it be easy? A simply vote with hands raised or a duel. That's how it was done before all this started. Back in the days when Goblins were feared. Already he was hearing rumors about Cooper, things that weren't true.

"Anyway, if we don't go to their level we can easily win." he finished, not really in a speech giving mood. That, and the fact that once he got going he couldn't stop. One reason he picked a nice safe job at Gringotts, where he dealt with children all day. That was for the speech writers to do not him. No he needed to do more. As for locations it should be simple. Places that were high traffic would be best; the Leaky, Floreans and perhaps Eyelops since every time he went down there he seen the place full.

OOC: Ok, I’m really really sorry. This has been finals month/graduation/ plus sooo many other things that come with graduating highschool. But I am finally done. So I’m back. xD

Teal really couldn’t be much more frustrated; things were not looking up. He walked into the Cooper Campaign Headquarters a little late as he was finished up a meeting on level four. The place around here was relaxed, too relaxed.

Mission number one was with the advertising committee, so he stalked into their planning room. His coffee was firmly in hand, they really needed to go to Diagon Ally TODAY. “Ok everyone, let’s get a move on. We’re putting up advertisements today. Meet me outside in,” Teal looked down at his watch, “five minutes.”

Without another word, the Department Head of Magical Creatures headed over to the speech writing and research committee. He looked down at the clipboard he had in hand. “How is everyone today?” He announced to grab the attention of the room. “Debate is in just over a week so we need to fine-tune all the details. I ran over current events and figured that these would be likely questions. You all need to work together and come up with proper responses to these questions so Cooper will be prepared.” He layed the clipboard on the main table. The clipboard read as follows,

Once he was outside, he looked to the rest of the Advertising committee and sighed heavily. “Ok, apparate in the streets in front of the Leaky Cauldron and we’ll get to work. Capeesh?”

So Andrus was out, that meant Tetrus was in. Personally the new Department Head didn’t LOVE Cooper, but, the thought of a woman taking over was HAUNTING. So therefore, he’d agreed to take over Andrus’ old spot.

The man stepped into Coopers headquarters, and his brown, deep set eyes scanned the room in an eerie fashion. He saw the desk, in which the name plate read ‘Teal Andrus – Campaign Manager’. That was a problem needing to be fixed pronto. Getting out his wand, he quickly changed it to ‘Tetrus Santana – Campaign Manager’.

Now he needed to round up the committee’s.

The Sonorus charm seemed to be a good idea, so Tetrus put his wand to his neck. “Everyone report to the common idea. At once.” His foreign accent sounded demanding and violent… almost deadly.
