Joseph shrugs, "Eh, do I have too? It's my first day..." After bearing the stares, "Alright I'll go." he began leaving the room thinking 'What am I going to tell the boss?'

Allison stood, closing the notebook and following the man out of the office. If he didn’t want to go himself, she might as well lend a hand…

As Star read the memo from liz, another memo flew in from the Ministry check-in desk.


'Your Graddaughter has arrived by Floo
and is requesting directions to your office.
Shall I send her there or can you retrieve her.

"Well, Jeni got here quick. I wasn't expecting her till tomorrow." Star said aloud to herself. "I guess since it is lunch time, I can go with her to Diagon Alley. I'll just leave a note for liz on her desk"

'Liz, My Granddaughter arrived early,
so I am taking her to get her school supplies.

Star grabbed her bag and left for the lifts to meet her granddaughter.

Liz drops in to grab the report she was making for Hermann Kern. She was about to leave, when she saw a note on her desk.

After reading the note, Liz smiles, and heads out of the office.

Star falls into her chair at her desk.

"My granddaughter wore me out!" she says out loud to the empty room. She turns around to face her desk.

"I wonder if Liz found out anything yet" Star starts typing on her laptop, researching Hermann Kern.

Walking back into the office, Liz sees Star is back. She heads over to Star's desk.

Hey! How'd the trip to Diagon Alley go? I miss not going shopping for books anymore... I just realized I never asked what house were you in? I was a ravenclaw.

I just got back from the Deparment Head Ms. Silverstone's office. No one has heard of Hermann Kern, apparently! So I picked up the information we got together for them.

"Diagon Alley was a madhouse" Star replied to Liz, "Jeni was hard to keep up with, She is a ball of energy"

"My granddaughter, Jeni was sorted into Gryffindor, like me. Both of my children went to the American School of Witchcraft in Salem, Mass. in the US. My father was a Gryffindor and my mother was a Slytherin. I also married a Slytherin, but that did not last long."

"We just had a full moon on the 20th. If Mr Kern was out and about the other departments would have known. I guess we should hope that he shows up here before the next full moon on June 18th."

Star goes back to Googleing on her lap top.

"Did you know that there was a artist named Hermann Kern, who was born in 1839 and died in 1912. And a Author by that name who wrote a German book titled; Labyrinths - Models and Interpretations - 5000 years of presence of a primal image about 1981, and died in 1985. I wonder if either were related to Our Hermann Kern?"

Joseph walked in and went straight to his desk. As the other woman took her seat he said, "Is it possible he tried to take a messed up potion that he thought would cure him?" He looked down at the report, and studied it for a second, maybe, if we find some relatives we can pinpoint his location and problem.

"Wow! I hadn't heard of either of those before. It might be a possiblity... Joseph was looking for relatives, maybe he might be able to track it from there... I'll send him a memo right now!"

Liz walks over to her desk and takes out a quill. After writing her note she sends it off to Joseph in the werewolf capture unit.

"I'm waiting for some information to come in from the magical law enforcement squad, on the arrest of Hermann Kern when those children called the muggle ummm pulicemeen I think they are..." Joseph and I are hoping to meet for lunch later, and discuss what we've learned."

"You're welcome to join us if you'd like! We'll be in the breakroom."

A memo flies in and lands on Joseph's desk.

"That sounds like it might be interesting. We don't get to get out of office as much as we would like. So, I'll see you there."

Joseph picked up the piece of paper, 'Maybe if the... no never mind. How about, gah that isn't right either.' This was turning out to be a difficult case. He needed to find a relative, maybe a wife, child, cousin, sibling. He doubted mother or father, knowing that they are either dead or missing. A werewofl who won't except treatment is not likely to get pushed by his parents. he jotted down a note and sent one back to Liz.

A note flies back through the door and lands on Liz's desk

As I enter the room a note whizzes past my head and down the hall. I look over to joeseph to see that he was troubled, to say the least. I walk over to him and say,
"Wazzup?"

Liz passes the note over to Star so she can read it too.

Hopefully we'll get more info from the law enforcement squad...

Star read the note Liz had handed over and nodded her agreement.

Joseph looked up to see Xire standing there, he ran his hand though his hair, "This Hermann Kern case is killer. I'm supposed to find some relatives of his, but I can't seem to find any yet. Liz from registry thinks he might be related to these guys," he said, handing him the note, "I think it's just purely coincidental. I need to find somebody, but I have no idea were to start."

Allison stood behind Joseph and glanced at Xire. “Anything I can do to lend a hand? I know intense research can take a real toll on someone.”

He looked at the woman, "If you could please see if you can find any friends or relatives, I need to go down to the muggle police office. Do I need a permit or something?" He said looking at Xire.

"I'd say you wouldn't but I'm not the one to ask. As for the likelieness, it'd be best to check not at a police station, but more of muggle govermental records, but that may take quite the magic. Though it really doesn't matter to connect these two to him, you should find immiediet relatives." I reply as I sit down and begin to twiddle my wand in my fingers.

Joseph sighed, "That's my dilemna, I can't find any immediate relatives, I don't know where to start." He pulled out his wand and started tapping an annoying rythmn on his desk.

Hearing a blip on from her laptop, Liz turns back around. Hmm that's interesting! Typing quickly she sends a note to her brother.

After typing the note she turns around, and says "Star I just received a clip from a French newspaper. It stated that a Hermann Kern has just escaped custody, in a small town in Murol." Hmmm looking at the map on her desk of France, she discovers it to be in central France.

Immediately she sends a quick note to Joseph.

A note flies in, in a flurry lands on Joseph's desk!

Joseph picked up the note and began reading it. "This is what we need, maybe if we ask her to have her brother get us a copy of that report... We could solve the case." He instantly started writing a note.
