Jocelyn managed to resume her natural state as a frown formed on her face. "Sad truth," she repeated. "Well maybe since I do not have much of a social life myself we can go for drinks after work," she said shrugging her shoulders slightly. Since Joss had left right after getting out of school and began traveling her friends and hers relationships had faded greatly.

James smiled across at her. " That would be nice. i know a pretty good place." He diverted his eyes back to his desk.Are you even aware how long its been since you had drinks with anyone? Its just a drink with a co-worker no bing deal right?...right.

Joss smiled back to James as she notice his smile. "Wonderful- it sounds fun," she replied then hoping James didn't catch the eagerness that shone through her tone. She then looked back down at her desk as she continued to pull items out her bag and place them in or on her desk. Pausing for a moment she glanced up to James and smiled- quickly resuming her task at hand.

" I think that bag of yours is a bottomless pit." he laughed light heartedly not realizing that he had given away that he had to say the least atching her for some time.

Joss looked up from her things with a wide smile on her face, "Yes in all honesty it is. The sad part I placed a charm on it to make it this way and now I can not find my lunch I put in here somewhere." She gave a heavy sigh as she let the bag fall out of her hands and back onto the desk. She rolled her eyes as she began to laugh along with James. After a moment she allowed her laughter to fade away and she looked at James for a good few minutes, I wonder if he seen me looking up at him from time to time she thought to herself. Surely he would have said something- "So James...do they have anything good in cafeteria ," she asked breaking the silence.

" nearly always." he said her mention of lunch caused him to look at his watch. " Wow I didnt realize it was that time already." he said as a memo zoomed in at a rather low height like always and hit him in the back of the head the bent paper plane then spun in the air at an awkward circle before ge managed to get a hold of it. it was addressed to him. he unfolded it and read it. he disgarded the note and looked up at joss. " a reminder my moms birthday is today." he said.

(OOC: I have to be up in about 5 hours I'm goning to get a bit of sleep now that its quiet talk to you later)

Emily waked down the now quite hallway towards her new office, she had to stop and blink a few times before realizing hwere she was. Dragons she mused as she stopped at the one desk where a shiny new nameplate sat, saying "Emily Castior" Above her, a small light flickered slightly and she shook her head. "Still hasn't fixed it yet huh?" She muttered to herself as she placed her bag on her chair and sat down.

The walls were littered with photos of dragons. Hungarian Horntails, Chinese Fireballs and even a Norweigan Ridgeback glared back at her, each curled up around a small bundle of eggs. On her desk a single file sat, with a picture of a baby dragon, race as of yet to be determined. Setting her coffee down beside her she opened the file and began to read, immersing heself into the world she never really liked.

After an hour of reading about a small family of dragons in the North and the steps taken to hide them Emily sat back and rubbed her eyes. How she missed the days of playing with her son, trying to see if there was any hope of him being a wizard. On that note, she picked up her bag and took out three photos, placing them on the desk in front of her. One was an older picture; she was sitting in a corn field with Jeremy, her first husband and her one year old - at the time - daugher Ariana. They all looked so happy and content she thought, eyeing the young girl in the photo as she waved estatically.

Smiling still, she placed an older photo of her daughter; this one was when she was 11 at the Kings Cross station, and the last of her bouncing baby boy Joshua, taken only a few weeks previously. She missed the old times, but knew she needed to move on before it ruined her life. Sighing, she turned away from the photos and went back to work, taking out her quill and writing a few memos.

Placing a hand over her stomach Jocelyn nodded her head slowly, “Yes it is that time. Did you bring your lunch or would you like to walk down with me to the cafeteria?”

Even though it was Jocelyn’s first day at the job in the Ministry she was familiar with some of the practices making it no surprise to her as she seen the paper plane fly into the room. She smiled as James told her it was a reminder of his mom’s birthday- aww that’s sweet- she thought to herself. “Are you going to see her after work for her birthday?”

" Briefly." he stated " going to pop in and see her off to the train station She and dad are taking this big trip kind of like around the world in 80 days type of thing. she's real excited about it. there's lots of places they've both wanted to see." He picked his wand up from the desk and tucked it rather mysteriously away somewhere on his person. " Office day he said . I believe it's pasta today and I do enjoy pasta." He walked with joss acroos the room and pushed the door open for her. " Lady's first." he said with a smile.

A wide smile appeared on Jocelyn’s face, “I love traveling- I am sure she will enjoy it.” She looked back down to what appeared to now be a mess pilling up on her desk and a sigh escaped her mouth. Then as James mentioned lunch she looked up at him with a smile, “I love Italian.” She grabbed a couple things tossing them back in her bag as she stood up. Following James they reach the door together and as he opened the door Jocelyn found herself blushing slightly. “What a gentleman,” she commented walking threw the door.

James smiled as he closed the door behind them. " yeah well they deserve a relaxing trip." he said wallking along side of her " So what part of working in the centaur division do you think your gonna like the best?" James asked normally he had to say it was feild work he was big on cramped office scene but today was shaping up pretty nicely.

Jocelyn nodded her head as she walked along James down the hall. "I am just really excited to be able to work with the Centaur at making their lives more convent and better for them while still commending to the wizarding world." She realized she might sound rather silly as she quieted her chat and decide to ask James more about himself, “What about you?”

" Me... I enjoy the interaction with creatu--Beings that are capable of intelligent, rational behavior, like humans. Aside fromt he adreniline rush you get from being close to something you are taught to fear at an early age... What don't beleive me?next time your out side the ministry watch hoe some people react when they learn you work wth centaurs. Main reason they're feared is becasue you have to so them a great deal of respect." He was rambling himself now. and laughed. " listen to me I sound like a first year reciting from a textbook." he said

Jocelyn listened as James talked about their work and then soon found herself smiling. They continued down the hall as she began to laugh when James referred himself as reciting a book. “No you don’t,” she managed to say in between her laughter. “I really like talking with you even when you ramble on,” she said with a teasing tone to her voice.

BIC: James Stepped off the Lift and walked with joss back to the office.again he held the door for her as well as a few others that entered behind them he greeted those he knew by names and simply said hello to those he didn't.

Jocelyn found herself smiling to James once again as he held the door open for her. She walked inside and headed for her desk that when she reach she dropped her bag back down onto the top then taking a seat in her chair. When James arrived to his desk Jocelyn looked up to him and jokingly said, "You really must be careful a women can get use to that kind of treatment."

" Just a polite gesture." he said with a smile. " It's how I am i can't help it ." he sat back and proped his ebow on the left arm of his chair and loked at her. " Besides you should be ?"

Jocelyn smiled as she followed James with her eyes then as he took a seat at his desk she averted them to a pile of papers on her desk. “Well when you can’t help it,” she said in a teasing voice as she shrugged her shoulders. Then as James said she should be her eyes quickly looked up to James’s eyes. “What was that,” she blurted out of shock.

" Use to being treated like a lady." james said seriously. Okay now it gets awkwards great you big dummy learn to shut up james,"he thought to hiself but he didnt listen he kept talking. " all females should be." james said one thing that got his mad quicker than anything was to see a guy disrespect any woman..

Jocelyn set very still looking at James and it seemed like almost for a moment she seen a light glowing around him. She focused back on him as she replied, "No to be truthful I am not." She glanced down back toward her papers as she felt her cheeks becoming flush. She swallowed hard and attempted to regain the correct color in her cheeks as she looked back up to James, "That is very nice you have that belief. It would be wonderful if all men did."

" Sorry that made things weird." he looked at his desk and mentaly slapped himself all his paper work was filed so there was nothing to distract him. see that why we spend more time out of office than in you open your mouth james and the stupidity spills out."

Jocelyn shock her head slightly, "No." She paused for a moment, "Really no it is okay." She did not feel awkward, but yet Jocelyn was scared that more feeling was developing right there in front of them in that room. She forced a friendly smile as she looked to James then quickly she glanced back down at the papers stacked up on her desk and she started to shuffle threw them.

James Opened the top drawer of his desk he need something anything to look busy to focus on. blank parchment and a quill that should do it he set the ink jar and quill on his desk a long with some parchment and made to close the drawer smashing his finger in the process he cheeks reddened as he stopped himself from allowing a long string of obscenities to fill the quiet around them through greeted teeth he managed a a low grmbly ouch instead. he rubbed his finger a bit then again focused more onthe parchment and quill.

At the sound of the drawer being somewhat slammed shut Jocelyn looked up as she catch James smashing his figure in the draw. She bit her lip in an attempt not to laugh, but she could not stop herself. "I am sorry-" she said releasing her lip yet still giggling. "I am sorry- I should be asking- are you okay?"

" It's fine." he said trying to avoid eye contact don't look at her you wont do something else stupid. he succeeded all of two seconds before he found himself once again staring across the desk like he had nothing better to do.
