"The work load varies depending on what is happening in the Wizarding world. Right now it's a little heavier in the Centaur office because of all the problems with the centaurs in the Forbidden Forest. With the dragons, it depends entirely on them." She took out a folder which had Demelza's name on it. "Ah. Here is your work for today. If any questions come up you can ask either myself or the Department Head." She smiled at Demelza and turned her back to go speak with Katalin.

Violet approached Katalin with a smile on her face. "Hello Katalin, how are you doing?" she asked. She handed Katalin a folder. "Here's your work. Do you have any questions for me so far?"

"Good thank you, me and J.J. have decided on a november wedding" she took the folder from Violet. "No questions!"

Violet raised her eyebrows. "Oh. I hadn't heard you were engaged. Congratulations. I preferred to have my wedding in April, you know. But I'm sure November will be lovely." She handed Katalin the folder. "All right, well you know where to find me if any come to mind." She cast one last look around the room and left.

Katalin opened the folder and looked at the paperwork that she needed to do. It was mostly about the centaurs in the forbidden forest.

Kasandra scuttled into the office. Her thick rimmed horned glasses on, making her look somewhat sophisticated. Somehow the bright pink hair just threw that off though, and showed people that she was still the young girl hoping around in her 20's. In her thin pale hands she held a rather large black mug, full of freshly poured hot coffee.

Of course the girl was young, tired and not yet full of coffee- but she was dedicated to her work (despite being young... tired... and not yet full of coffee) Kass put her coffee down on her desk, and sat down in her chair. Her eyes wandered over and towards the pile of paper work sitting in the corner. She had a feeling it would be a long day

"Eric!" Evan said suddenly, looking up from his paperwork and pointing at Violet's retreating figure. "Eric Silvermoon, right? Good guy... you were a couple years behind us at school, weren't you? And I remember that unfortunate incident with the grape jam..." Evan smiled smugly, astonished he had remembered all that. He had pretty much attempted to block England from his mind.

He took a sip of coffee, and if it hadn't happened at all, went back to his work, keeping an ear out incase she replied.

Demelza took the folder enthusiastically and was about to say "Thankyou, Ill get right on it! -" When the file dropped out of her hands. Papers and sheets went everywhere, flying around the office. "Ooops!" she said, her face red, and bent to pick them up.

Katalin watched the file, she walked over to the desk and helped to pick up the papers. "I am Katalin Trigwell!" she introduced herself to the other woman.

"Hi!" said Demelza, straitening up with an armful of papers. "Im Demelza Penndragon." She tried to **** the papres so that she could shake hands, but it was pointless. If she shifted them, she would jsut drop them again.

Violet paused in the doorframe at the mention of her husband. She swiveled slowly and walked back over to Evan's desk. "You knew Eric." she stated simply. No wonder he'd seemed familiar. "I can't say i remember you, Mr. Pryce. But you do seem well informed of the...grape jam incident." She uttered the words grape jam incident as though they were a terrible curse or taboo.

She smiled at the woman and picked up the papers again, she started to play with her engagement ring again.

"Yup, he coached me through History of Magic OWLS, couldn't have done it without him. I'm horrible at remembering Pippo the Pansy and all those dead people who didn't do anything but still had funky names." Evan said brightly, dipping his quill into the inkwell and scrawling something on his paper. "Didn't know he was married though, congratulations, though I'm presumably years too late."

Violet listened to his story with growing incredulity. Was he serious? "Well," she said finally, "I'm afraid I don't remember you. Sorry," she added hastily. "He'll be interested to know that I've found you, though. I'll have to remember to tell him." She said this last part almost vaguely, as though it was so obvious that it almost wasn't worth mentioning. "In any case, now it's very interesting to meet you. I look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Have a good day." She turned on her heel and headed for the door for the second time.

Demelza was looking through her file. There was a lot of written work to get going on. She frowned. Where was all the practical stuff? She wanted to meet centaurs and wrestle dragons!
"Are there any dragons being held at the moment?" she asked interestedly.

Kasandra looked up as she heard a girl over behind her ask about dragon's being held. "At the moment no." Kass had just been through the holding room to check out if anything interesting was going on, so she decided it would not be that hard to answer the question.

Kass looked back down at her paper, stamped in a couple of times and put it aside. One down, 20 million to go. "We just sent a couple away to dragon reserves. They don't stay long here at all." She explained to the girl, assuming she was new. She had never seen her before at least. Kass looked up again from her paper word at the girl.

Rhea walked into the Beast division and looked around. She had never been into this part of the department before, but realized that it was not much different from her department.

She looked around for the Head of the division and when she spotted her, she walked over and extended her hand.
"I'm Davina Carter, from the beast support division. I was sent here by Mr.Stryker. He told me that I could be on loan to your department to lend an extra hand in the field work you'll be conducting soon at Hogwarts. He also said if you have any concerns about me working here temporarily, you can speak to him about it." She smiled at the woman and waited for her reply.

A paper airplane flies into the room and comes to a rest on your desk, unfolding and smoothing out to reveal...

James walked into the familiar office and took a fond look around; a lot had changed since his first days at the ministry. There were a lot of new faces in the office; James walked over to the desk with his name plaque on it and took a seat for the last time. He had never really spent more time than absolutely necessary at his desk he had always preferred to be outdoors doing the field work but today was different. Today was his last day as an employee in the ministry altogether he would be leaving in the morning for South America and the new job that awaited him there.. He set the cardboard bankers box on the floor next to his desk and picked up his quill signing off on the final paperwork of his last assignment not wanting to leave it unfinished for someone else that wasn’t familiar with it to waist time fussing over. As he finished the last bit of paperwork he suddenly felt a bit sad over leaving he sighed and sat back in his chair for a moment before he lifted the box to his desk and began to pack up his things. A few personal office supplies, his name plaque and some photos were all there really was in the box by the time he was finished packing. He looked up to see Violet Silvermoon heading for the door. He picked up the folders of paperwork he had finished and started a cross the room to catch her before she to busy he knew all to well that she was likely not to be back for a bit because of things going on in the other offices she had after all taken the position as Head after he stepped down from it and she was doing quite a nice job. He made a note to tell her so before he left. “ Silvermoon,… “ he called as he made his way towards her hoping to catch her attention.

Violet turned and smiled at the woman instinctively even before registering anything she said. "Ah yes. I'm Violet Silvermoon, the Beast Division Head, but no doubt you figured that out already." She took Davina's hand and shook it firmly. "It's nice to meet you. Of course I have no concerns; I'm positive you will do your job well. You're most welcome here and while you work here you can feel free to ask me any questions you might have." She gave Davina another, now genuine, smile.

Violet turned away from Davina for a moment, towards the sound of another voice. What a busy day here today. After the initial surprise she felt at being called only by her last name, she responded.
"Yes?" she asked. She remembered that James had been Head before her. She wondered what he wanted. "How can I help you?"

"Actually... I just was just here to get my thngs and I wanted to give these to you, before I go. their all finished and in order so there shouldn't be any unneeded headaches ." He said. " I always hated leaving things for someone else to finish." He admitted with a light laugh.Then he paused for a moment. " " It's been a Pleasure working with you Violet."

"Oh," said Violet. "Thank you." She held out a hand for whatever it was he wanted to give her. "Oh, that's all right. I don't really mind a little extra work. Besides, someone has to do it, and it's part of my job." She smiled. "You too. I wish you good luck whatever path you decide to take now."

" Thanks. That means a lot." James said with a respectful smile . " For what i's worth I think your doing a pretty good job. Keep it up." James paused for a moment not sure what else to say small talk had never really been his forte. He he cleared his throat to end the silence. " Well I best be going I still have some tings to get into order before I leave. James extended his hand to shake hers.

Violet returned the smile. "Of course. No problem at all." She inclined her head acknowledging his words. "Thank you. I'll try and do my best in the future as well." She pressed her lips together, watching him with her wide purple eyes. "All right. It really was nice to work with you." She shifted the various files and folders she was holding and grasped his hand firmly, shaking it. She gave him another smile and let go, as the folders were about to fall. She caught them.

He smiled as they shook hands then let go. " Farewell" He said as she steadied the stack of papers. He turned towards the desk where his things were sitting and gave his wand a small flick bringing the box of things to him before he gave Violet a final nodof acknowledgement and made his way out of the office.
