You step into the Atrium (either from a Fireplace or from the visitors entrance), and see other wizards walking through the hall past the Fountain of Magical Brethren. The floor is polished dark wood, and the ceiling is peacock blue with golden symbols floating across it slowly.

The fountain itself is made up of a group of golden statues depicting a wizard, a witch, a centaur, a goblin and a house-elf, all of which pour water into the surrounding pool.

The security gate can be seen at the end of the hall (OOC: Security check in is in a separate thread).

"Good morning, Miss Belle," Doyle greeted her. Once Crawford was out of earshot he added, "How are you, Clara?"

Clara tapped her quill against her chin, watching Jamie-Lee until she was completely vanished. "Does she seem a bit... apprehensive to you?" Clearly, she was hiding something and clearly Clara would have to get to the bottom of it. Clara's brilliant smile reappeared and she offered Doyle her hand. " I am marvelous. Just marvelous. You? I've seen your girls, I must say they are to die for." Clara gave him a smile that saw right through him, right through the next wall, and right outside to Muggle London.

Doyle had learned to ignore her journalistic expositions and just answer the questions she truly wanted answered. Besides, she'd mentioned the girls and that always seemed to soften him up. He smiled brightly like the proud father he was. "Sophia has already shown some magical talent," he said.

Clara cleared her throat and kept her hand out. How primitive he'd become, hanging out with all those children up at Hogwarts. He had been so mannerly when she'd known him.

"You must let me do a piece on them. You simply must. What were their names again?" Clara batted her eyelashes at him, with a simple, curious smile on her face - a simple, curious faux smile.

Doyle was mildly embarrassed when he realized he'd neglected her outstretched hand when he'd gone into mushy daddy mode at the mention of his children. He took her fingers and gave the back of her hand a brief kiss as he bowed over it. Then, he set about cleaning his glasses. "Genevieve and Sophia," he answered, though he wasn't sure Cassandra or himself would want an article written up about them.

Clara tilted her head to watch him clean his glasses. Some habits never die. Pity that. "Gorgeous choice of names. Why, Sophia just so happens to be my middle name, Doyle. Did you name the girls yourself?" Clara was taking notes and smiling at him, just like old times.

"Just one," he said and swallowed a lump in his throat, wishing he had more control over the color of his cheeks. It had been twenty years, he was completely over it and happily married so why he cared about what Clara thought was beyond him but, he did.

"Which one?" Clara asked, as if she didn't already know that answer to that. Of course, she was honored to have Doyle Branxton - Ministry of Magic extraordinaire - name one of his children after her. It was quite sweet. Maybe he was thinking of making her the godmother?

"Sophia," he said, humoring her, though he knew that she knew perfectly well which one he'd named. Clara had changed a lot over the years, though he supposed it was an inevitablity hanging around with Cooper.

Clara gave him the cutest expression she could draft. It came from somewhere deep in the pit of heart and made her arms spring out and around his shoulders. "I'm so proud of you, Doyle. Snagging Bren's... or I mean The Minister's .. little sister and starting a little family. You must be so smitten with all your girls. I'll have Bren... or I mean The Minister set us up a lunch date. Do a photo shoot. The wizarding world simply must see!" Clara removed herself from the hug and began waving her hands around, her quill taking it's own initiative and scribbling their date down in her notebook.

Doyle was completely flabbergasted. The hug and outburst just seemed to come flying out of nowhere. "I do love my girls but, I'm not sure a lunch and photoshoot with the Minister would be entirely appropriate. I would, at the very least, need to discuss it with Cassandra," he answered. he knew Cassandra wanted Cooper to acknowledge him as brother in-law but, he was fairly certain she didn't mean publicly and certainly not for the Daily Prophet's gossip column.

"We'll be in touch, 'kay?" Clara's notebook shut with a snap and it went into her purse. She cocked her head again, giving him her best smile. "You have a real good day, Doyle. Give those girls a kiss each for me. Tata, dear." She pinched his elbow on her way by and was gone with a pop.

Doyle watched as Clara left and stood standing there for several moments staring at the point she'd vanished from before continuing on toward the elevators.

When she did so, though, Ari started walking towards the elevator quickly, not wishing to be even more late. Oh, her head of department was certainly going to kill her.

Sophie strode quickly across the atrium again, weaving expertly through the crowds of wizards without having to stop once. Her security walk finished for the day, she headed in the direction of her office to see to the inevitable pile of paperwork in her inbox.

Luriken walked out to the fountain he decided antoher break from his noisy department would help him think. He felt around for any loose change in his pocket but came up with nothing I must have left it. he thought.

Sighing he sat on the fountain and looked into the water.

"Looking for something?" Estelle asked as she saw Luriken search for something in his pockets. She was able to get away from the Death Chamber for a while. Which was a good thing. Scrubbing knives wasn't really her type of thing.

Smiling, she sat down next to him. "What's up?" She asked him.

Luriken looked up and smiled "Nothing much, whats up with you?" he clenched his jaw so his face was more pronounced and his smile faded. He ran a hand over the waters surface and sighed, "I miss the ocean."

"I have some crappy work to do." She told him. The potions smelt disgusting and she had to wash her hands about five times before the smell could go away.

She watched as his hands moved over the surface of the water and created ripples in them.

Miss the ocean? She had never heard him say that before. "Why is that?" She asked him.

But I visit every now and then." he sighed and sank his hand in the water completely forgetting about the sleeve of his robes."This is nothing like the sea, the sea captures the heart and breaks down all emotion leaving you with nothing."

He cupped his hand and raised it above the water then let it pour out "You can feel no emotion in the sea, just the smell alone captures the mind, and the sight durning sunset. Spectacular." his face had a distant smile on it. he looked at Estelle with empty eyes and shook his head "I'm sorry, I just went for a while."

He was from Spain? Estelle didn't know that. That was news to her. She had always wanted to go to Spain. The only places she had been to other than the UK was France, Italy and America. But she had always dreamed of touring the rest of Europe if not the world.

She listened to him attentively as he talked about the sea. His view on sea wasn't the one she had on it. "That's okay." She said when he apologised.

"The ocean is a beautiful place." She said and smiled at him. "But it is on the individual to interpret it the way he or she wants to. You see the ocean as having no emotions. You see it as a place where all emotion is broken down and it leave you with nothing." She placed her hand on his other hand. "But it doesn't have to be that way." She said. "When the ocean is calm, it is romantic and beautiful. When it is silent, it is deadly and mysterious, when it is loud, it is fierce."

She took her hand off his. "And this also shows that I have been studying too many books." She chuckled.

"It's beautiful there, it's extreemly hard not to fall in love with the place, but Greece, that place is......" he searched his brain for the right word but could find none "It's Greece."

"No actually I haven't." She told him and laughed then he drew he had out of the water. "But I have always wanted to go." She said.

"Well." She said. "What do you expect will happen when you play with water?" She asked him and rolled up her sleave and splashed some water on him. She knew she probably shouldn't have done that. But she did it anyways.

"Greece?" She said. "You have been to Greece?" She asked him. "I am so jealous. I want to visit that place. I have heard a lot about it, and I really want to go." She splashed some more water on him and added. "Well. I want to tour the whole of Europe." She smiled. "The whole world really." She added as an afterthought.

Luriken laughed and blocked himself with his arm "I've been to a lot of places." he dipped his hand in and splashed her "But I want to go to India, never been there." he splashed her again "Where are you from?"

Estelle laughed when he splashed her with some more water. "India?" She said. "I would really like to visit that place too. It sounds just lovely." She said. "Me? I am from here." She said. "Nothing exciting about me. Though my great grandfather was half Indian." She told him.
