Apparition Practice/Testing Room Quote:
{Thank you to Rhea for letting us use your wonderful graphic} Quote:
ooc: If you are being tested, please do not say you apparated in one try. That is nearly impossible. Testing Coordinators Head: Madison Masterson (LadyNerd) Oceana O'Grady (deviljo8586) Jacinto "Jack" Moniz (Kaos.Doodles) Lima Whiggmeister(Whitterz) |
Viea entered the room with a briskle smile. She nodded at Micah and gave him a special smile, she flug her hair behind her shoulder, flashing her neck. |
Micah looked back at Stacy. "I shall show how you should test an applicant." He said to her. "Dan Weasley, please step forward, not too close to the hoop however." He said while folding his arms and looking at his first applicant. His second applicant was waiting behind Mr. Weasley. "Ms. Stacy shall test you shortly after I test Mr. Weasley..." He said to her curtly. |
"Dan steped forward may I try I have done it before I just left behind a finger" asked Dan steping forward |
"Well, ok, but remember the three Ds! Destination, Determination, and Deliberation! Focus! One-Two!-THREE!" he shouted, though not in anger when he reached three. |
Dan turned on the spot and landed in the hoop "|Yes I did it. Oh" said Dan when he felt his eyebrow missing from his forehead . |
Micah nodded at his progress. "Remember, you have to focus on the inside of that hoop. Concentrate on every single piece of your body...You can do this!" He said in encouragement. "Try again." He said as he nodded. |
"I should be able to do it" said Dan and he concentrated as much as he could and he appered in the hoop all of him this time. |
Micah smiled, this guy was a quick learner. "Good job! since you've taken it before it should be easier now." He said clapping his hands. "Me and my employees shall discuss if you have earned the license." he nodded with a smile to Dan. "You're done for now." He turned to The other applicant. "Well you're up next." he said as he smiled at her. |
Stacy was told by Micah to meet him here.. I am a tad nervous.. After all this is the ministry. Many great wizards work here. |
"Ahh Stacy! Are you ready for your first test applicant? You shall test her in ways you've seen me done. Give it your best shot!" he told her, smiling. He amused himself by thinking of an applicant he first taught... |
Viea stood there against the wall she didn't want to do this anymore, this apparition stuff made her feel dizzy. Maybe she would make an ... No, she was going to do it. She was finally going to be able to apparate. She knew it would take her a long time to get it. She sighed and smiled at Stacey. |
Molly walked into the apparation testing room. Suddenly, butterflies filled her stomach and the nervous feeling swept across her. After filling out an application form and having it approved, it was decided that she was ready and could go straight to the testing room. Molly stood in the doorway waiting for direction. She waited patiently... |
Micah nodded and Molly and gestured his hand to the hoop. "The lack of coordinators has forced me to test each one applicant...." He said to Molly. "Please step to near the hoop, Molly," |
*Outside* The Apparition Practice Room. Here you can practice on these old fashioned wooden hoops before you take the test. Anyone is welcome here but be warned! If you split in half we're not responsible! |
Apparition Practice Room Come here to practice apparating before or after the test. All are welcome. Beware, if you splinch we are not responsible for it. |
Nervous at what micah told her about not being responsible for splitting in half, she decided not to practice just yet. she wanted to build up her confidence before anything! |
Micah entered the testing room and looked back at the many applicants. "Molly you shall go first. Sky, you will test her...." he told her. |
Rebecca walked out of the room nervously, looked around and waited to be approached |
They reached the Apparition Test Room. He entered and looked around. "Oh and please excuse my rudeness. I am Micah Nettings." he held out his hand politely to the girl behind him first. |
Rebecca smiled a little nervously and shook his hand "Rebecca Todd" she muttered, her voice shaking with fear |
ooc: Rebecca Todd is also an applicant so let's pretend she was with us, Cassandra and Rhiannon. Micah smiled at the three and nodded. He waved his wand thrice and three metal hoops appeared out of no where. Right, let's start off with you all trying to apparate!" he said. He walked up over the hoops and turned around to face the three. "Please remain within 5 feet from the hoop and when you have done so, I shall continue on with instructions." |
This was silly... he should be concentrating on HER, not these others... She got into position and tapped her food. How long was this going to take if he was going to have all three of them do this??? |
Rhiannon raised an eyebrow at Cassandra's apparent impatience. Shrugging, she took her position behind one of the other two rings Mr. Nettings had conjured. She remained at the five feet he had specified, and went over the steps in her head while she waited. |
"Right! Now I only need to watch you for the next... hmm until both of you has splinched." he paused and smiled a little. "After that I want you to stop for a while and rest it." He turned around and pointed at the big white sign. "Remember the three D's! Destination! Determination! Deliberation! Step one: Your mind should be firmly set upon your destination, which is to say, the interior of the hoop. Step two: Use your determination and focus to occupy the visualized space! Do not, however, concentrate too hard. Step three: When I give the command you will turn on the spot, felling the nothingness and transporting with deliberation." He stretched, smiled again, then said, "Are you all ready?" OoC: I remind you all, please, to not apparate into the hoop on your first try. Not even your 7th. RP in a logical way. |
