Priscilla was pre-occupied by the stash of folders that kept pilling up rapidly on her desk to notice any of the flying mail. Her eyes kept rolling each time a folder was stashed, what was the rush in people getting their apparition license anyways? Even so it was still morning; she has the entire day to read into them while her magical quill kept signing her name in approval or rejection. Her eyes were growing tired as she kept checking the clock; her quill was definitely not supplying sufficient speed making her believe she won’t finish on time. Pulling another quill out she bewitched it to work on another stack of folders while she pulled out today’s edition of the daily prophet for the regular update on their world.

Shylo Marcez strode into the Apparation Department, her dark hair tied up in a bun, and her black glasses propped up on her nose. She nodded at Priscilla, and sat down at her own desk, wincing slightly at the mountains of paper work that were scattered all over it.

She jumped as three or four memos zoomed into the room, skidding to a hault before her. Sighing, Shy began to open the first one.

"Mornin' Shylo" Priscilla sighed closing the Daily Prophet forcefully after reading the famous column by Clara Belle. Resting the news paper on her desk as she moved around to get more booklets when the sight of Shylo startled caught her attention. "Are those regarding the Hogwarts Students apparition tests?" pointing at the memo's in her hand "If so we need to start organizing them pronto!"

Shylo smiled back weakly, like the shy young woman she was. "Morning..." She said quietly, not looking up from her memos. She scanned through the first one and, it was indeed about the Hogwarts student's apparation test.

"Yes. Hogwarts..." She gave a small smile, before putting the memo in her 'to-do' pile and opening the Daily Prophet. She scanned the first page, stopping to read an article about the Quidditch World Cup. Quidditch had always facinated Shylo, yet she had never had the guts to take it up herself. She took a sip of coffee, and then glanced at her watch.

water came running in because it was his first day on the job so he wanted to help out in the apparating department because he mastered it the first time he did it.

water was at his desk when a memo came saying he had an assiment he was supposed to teach a kid to apparate and test him

water told the kid to first think of the place he wanted to go then think you are nothing last let your mind go

The kid tried this with a hoop he tried to do it but his legs got into the hoop instead of his whole body he yelled "Im gonna die save me!". So Water said "Stop yelling," then Water said "Body repero". Then the boys legs went back onto his body and then he tried again but this time he almost got it except that he didnt have his head. So Water said "Body reparo", again and again this time was sucessful. So the kid was ready to be tested Water said "Apparate into Zonko's Joke Shop and then into The Three Broomsticks and then into The Hogs Head were i'll ask people how you did". So the boy did it in ten minuites and did terrible. When apprated into Zonko's Joke Shop he landed on one of the Waseley twins and when he apprated into The Three Broomsticks he landed on Rosemorta and when he apprated into The Hogs Head he landed on a table so I tested him again and he did perfectly.

Shylo nodded to Water as he entered, rampaging around the department like a stampede of elephants. She rolled her eyes. Some people! Late, and noisy. She couldn't help but smile little though. Once Water was settled in, Shy picked up the memo about Hogwarts Apparation Tests and took it over to Priscilla.

"Would you like...to....read it?" She asked, quietly, holding it out at arms length.

After stacking the booklets neatly on her desk, Priscilla walked over towards Shylo’s desk taking hold of that Hogwarts memo for date listings. Planning, planning, and more planning is what keeps this department clicking like an accurate clock. Her eyes darted to the new employee that walked in… a tad too late with a student. New employees always had that unique technique to them.




She eyed him for a bit before walking towards him, “Hello and Welcome to the department of magical transportation. My name is Priscilla Johanson” offering her hand to shake “You must Mr. Water, your desk will be right next to Ms. Shylo here. You’ll be on training for the first day; Ms. Shylo shall show you how we handle our tests and paper work. Of course don’t hesitate to come to me with any questions you have.







“Not really” Priscilla replied “I just want the dates. How about this, I know you’re a dedicated worker. You’re in charge of setting up testing dates and test preparations for Hogwarts Students this year. Make sure we have everything ready before sending our testers out there” winking at Shylo before returning to her own desk. “I need to talk to someone about misplaced mail, I'll be back shortly". Picking up an opened letter, Priscilla headed towards the Portkey department.

Shylo's head shot up. Her? Show a man how to work. No. No, no, no, no, NO! Didn't Priscilla know that she was as timid as any mouse? Or as quiet as a spider crawling across the floor?

Shylo turned to Water and smiled weakly.

Shylo nodded and then placed it aside. She stopped dead. Her? In CHARGE?! Now she knew that Priscilla had gone mad. Shylo had been elected Prefect in her sixth year, and had thrown up. She began trembling as her friend disappeared off to a different department. Suddenly registering what had to be done, she scrambled out of her seat and ran towards the filing cabinet.

She needed to know free dates.

A flying parchment entered the Apparition section of the Transportation level and flew to Priscilla.

The practice and testing are a go, get ready!

Priscilla smiled as she walked back into her department, it was nice catching up with friends. Just as she stepped in a flying parchment swooped into her direction making her cringe down wards in alarm. Once it landed on her desk, she hurriedly made it towards it seeing it was an important memo from its color.


Her face went serious when she read the letter's contents walking back towards Shylo's desk, "How's the Hogwart's planning going? We may need to be ready sooner than we think" she remarked waving the parchment in her hand. "Do we have the tests ready?" skimming Shylo's desk to figure if she started on those yet.

Shylo was still all of a dither when Priscilla returned. She was feverishly scribbling notes and mountains of parchment were filling her desk. She gaped as a letter was waved in her face.

"Yes, yes, everything is fine. Here are the dates." She handed Priscilla a piece of parchment and pushed her glasses a little higher. "Here are the candidates." She handed her another piece of parchment.

"Good" Priscilla heaved looking over the parchments Shylo handed over, "Good Good Good" she muttered some more as skimmed down the page. "Dates are all assigned, so now to tests and testers" she remarked placing the parchment back on Shylo's desk then walked towards the test drawers in search of Hogwarts license tests, "I need my best testers heading down there to teach and examine students, the best i tell you" speaking more to her self as her mind raced everywhere.

Shylo's ears perked up a little at the best testers. Testing...one job she was quite good at. She stood up and apparated over to where Priscilla stood. She smiled in a most un-Shylo-ish way.

"I'm your man! Er...woman."

Priscilla chuckled inwardly at the way Shylo was reacting, "You're already one of the testers" she winked closing one drawer and opening another while other drawers across the room randomly opened and closed at their own accord, "we'll see who else we may need later" pointing her index finger in defense. "In the mean time test material is far more important to me" her eyes stuck on Shylo's "Chop chop".

Shylo beamed, her green eyes widening. "Oh thank you, Priscilla! You won't regret this!" She shook her hand, enthusiastically and then quickly returned to her desk.

She picked up her quill and in no time, she was scribbling away.

"I know I won't" Priscilla immediately responded shooting Shylo a friendly wink before pulling out the tests she was looking for then twirled her way towards her desk for some serious work and preparation.
