The first thing that catches your eye is a rather large desk near the door, with a giant nameplate bolted into the front reading:
The wizards and witches in this division have to keep tabs on any magic that goes amiss. If a young witch or wizard who does not have much control over their magic accidentally casts a spell that goes haywire, it is their job to fix it. When on an assignment, work together as a team to find the correct spell to reverse the situation, and then be sure to report it to the Head Office. | |

"That charm has been used many a time throughout history, oh let's see...," she racked her brain, pinching the bridge of her nose, "I know it covered almost all of Durmstrang back in the day... and that charm is known to surround the Quidditch World Cup Stadium during Quidditch season."
"Why couldn't it work for the centaurs? What is preventing that charm from working? That's what I want to know," she said in frustration, crossing her arms and lounging her heels on her desk.

"There's a thought, and we could offer that to the committee, but the only problem is that the centaurs have some sort of odd reaction to that specific charm. They used it when they were covering a part of London for the centaurs to stay in for a while, and one of them blew up like a balloon. Very odd still..." Hallie said thoughtfully.
She didn't want to argue with everyone else, but she couldn't help but see these small problems. But she figured they should take the risk...

It was a little endearing though, she had to admit.

That was a little bit of a lie. Yes, they were progressing...but it was a little slower than Llew would've liked. She swiveled in her chair slightly as she eyed Mr. Cobblesten.

Ben looked at the two employees who had spoken up and nodded at them. "Lovely. Unfortunately, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Ministry officials are really bugging me about getting this info in soon," he muttered, waving his hand about his head. He was clearly as annoyed with this whole situation as his employees were. "So I'm afraid we're all going to have to get a move on."
As he stood up, a sudden thought occurred to him--would they work faster if they knew they were lagging behind a bit? "You know, Miss Quigley from the Muggle Worthy Excuse Committee handed in everything a few days ago," he said slyly. Hint hint. Maybe that would motivate them a bit.
Plus, anything to get on Mona's nerves was amusing to Ben.
