The first thing that catches your eye is a rather large desk near the door, with a giant nameplate bolted into the front reading:

The wizards and witches in this division have to keep tabs on any magic that goes amiss. If a young witch or wizard who does not have much control over their magic accidentally casts a spell that goes haywire, it is their job to fix it. When on an assignment, work together as a team to find the correct spell to reverse the situation, and then be sure to report it to the Head Office.

Hallie raised her eyebrow when Elizabeth changed the subject to something still so close to what they were just talking about. She immediately thought of sitting down and burying her head back into her paperwork, but instead just shook her head and sighed.
"I was in Slytherin." she finally replied.

Elizabeth turned to Hallie and looked at her face. There was something in it.... "You look upset," she said. "Have I said something?" She racked her brains. She didn't recall saying anything that would be offensive. Elizabeth shrugged a tiny bit and looked down at her work and sighed. "So much work to do," she said, too quiet for anyone else to hear.

''Gryffindor...'' Alicia said as she turned towards her growing pile of paper work. ''Ooh... I nearly forgot, you know this partner thing with the Obliviators? Don't you think we should go introduce ourselves or something?'' Alicia knew it probably made no sense but she had to say it anyway...

Elizabeth stopped her work for a moment and looked at Alicia. "Well, maybe," she said, smiling.

Hallie shook her head.
"No, no. It's just that some people aren't so acceptive of Slytherins. All because of that bloody Voldemort."
She sighed angrily and turned to her desk, flipping some pages in a folder. She hated the fact that some people were so unforgiving, even for something that she had nothing to do with. They immediately thought that since she was in Slytherin, she held his beliefs. 'Bloody hypocrites the lot of them.'

Dan was bored. He was one of the only boys in the department and so he didn`t talk much. "Slytherins arn`t all bad, my mother was a slytherin and she was great. I was a hufflepuff, my wife was a gryfindor and my daughter is a hufflepuff, but she only attended hogwarts one term and my son is a Ravenclaw so were from all houses and we all get along" he said comfortingly from his desk, looking over at Becca he said "Nothing popped up yet?"

"Unfotrunatly not." said Becca, shaking her head. "Its just a really slow day."
She hated these kind of days. But something would come up soon.

Elizabeth wanted to fall asleep. She was so bored. Hopefully something would happen and she could do something. But she wasn't sure what she could actually do when something happened.

Hallie tapped her fingers continuously on her desk. Would nothing ever happen? Everything seemed slower when you weren't doing anything productive. With a small groan she flipped through some files on her desk, wondering why a job like this wasn't more exciting.
'Because it's a new time era, that's why.' she thought to herself with a roll of her eyes.

Hallie gazed in Elizabeth's direction and sighed, frustrated at her own boredom. Nothing ever happened. Especially since that dark lord got taken down. Things seemed to settle down and apparently intended on staying that way.
"This is the life of the Ministry worker. Paperwork." she muttered, flicking some papers aside on her desk.

Dan looked up as Elizabeth spoke "People have gotten more responsible, thats bad news for us, but something should pop up, until then paperwork awaits" he said and gave her a quick smile before returning to his own work, he neede more men in the department, someone he could talk quiditch to.

"Oh yes, brilliant. But there's always some lunatic out there that'll mess up. Sooner or later." she said as she flicked through her Quidditch magazine. She was so bored. Usually she didn't bother with magazines at work, but with nothing but paperwork left, what else could she do?

"Yes, sooner or later," Elizabeth agreed, nodding. "I hope it's no one I know." She turned back to her piles of paperwork sitting in front of her and sighed. So much work to be done, and so little time......

Thomas Black, from the Commitee on Experimental Charms kicked his way into the room with Andrina Snow, also from the same department on his arms, unconscious. " Help!!" he shouted as he stormed in with a worried look on his face " we we're trying a new charm for approval" he started saying as he looked around anxiously from face to face "a charm that is supposed to remove a wizards power and make them be just like muggles, she volunteered , I used the spell on her, a black smoke came out of her, she said she felt weak and then just passed out on the floor" Ok Thomas, breath or you won't be able to help her at all " I made the smoke enter her again, but on the papers " he threw them to a desk that was near, still holding Andi on his arms. Her head rested against his chest, I can feel a her breathing... but she hasn't waken up yet! " but on the papers they don't say anything else, and she hasn't waken up yet! I need some help because I don't know what else to do!" he finished, falling to his knees and conjuring a small thin mattress where he laid Andi down very carefully, pushing the hair out of her face and feeling her pulse again.

"What can I do to help?" she said, taking out her wand. Elizabeth would do anything, anything to do her job right and help someone.

"Did you even get the approval to practice this?!"
Pulling her wand out she waved it over the girl, trying to locate the area where the spell had hit her. Frowning when it reached over her chest, she shook her head.
"Someone stand her up." Hallie commanded.

Thomas made a serious face, don't call me irresponsible he, thought angrily, like it wasn't enough that ANDI passed out? Because of a spell I casted on her, right after ...but he answered with a plane voice, "Of course we did, we have the authorization to try the spells out on ourselves, and on top of that, she's the head of out department, she volunteered for this!" he answered. He watched as this other woman waved the wand over Andi's body. When she commanded to stand Andi up, Thomas grabbed Andi quickly by the waist with one arm and supporting her head and neck with the other he pulled her up to a standing position. "What are you going to do to her ??" He asked looking with narrow eyes to her.

Hallie ignored him, not wanting to lose focus and pointed her wand at Andi's chest. Taking a small breath, she muttered a small spell under her breath and watched as the black cloud of smoke came out of her body. Frowning at it, she quickly threw it across the room with her wand before turning back to Andi and placing her wand back onto her chest.
"Finite Incantatum." she said finally.
She smiled as Andi's eyes fluttered slightly. "She should probably go home and rest." Hallie said to the boy as she calmly turned back to her desk.

Andrina coughed and sputtered and she felt her legs go weak as her eyes opened and she realized she was being held tightly in Thomas's arms. "What happened?" She asked looking around. " Where am I?" She held tightly onto Thomas's arm. She couldn't remember what had happened, last thing she remembered was kissing Thomas in the bathroom.

Thomas quickly turned Andi around to face him, still holding her by the waist, he ran his fingers through her hair and felt the heat on her face " Are you alright?" he whispered preoccupied trying to analyze Andi from every point of view possible " we were trying a charm, it worked wrong I think..." the other option was that a wizard without its powers could not survive very long. He looked into Andi's purple eyes with his own legs shaking now. " Come, I'll carry you to our office and then take you home, you should get the rest of the day off.." He kissed her forehead as he snapped her up in his arms. " Thank you " he said truthfully to the exceptional witch that had helped them and walked out of the room gazing into Andrina's eyes.

"The charms department certanly" said Dan as a man entered. "Ok sit down and calm down, thats the first thing you should do. Some of us will go down to the division, yes Becca?" he asked looking towards their boss.

But then the guy left "That was weird, should we do anything?" he asked.
