| | |  Abandoned Warehouse (Plot for Accidents and Catastrophes)
When you first hear that you'll be practicing spells and counterjinxes in an abandoned warehouse, you're not exactly sure what to think. Then again, this IS Mr. Cobblesten you're talking about--Merlin knows what goes through his mind half the time. As you enter the old warehouse and get a look around, you see that someone has cleaned it very maticulously, so that even the floors are somewhat shiny now. In front of you, you see a line of dummies along the wall. The first one is already in the middle of the room. "Come on, step right up!" the dummy is yelling, and you notice immediately that the voice is none other than Ben's, enchanted to say certain phrases as you practice the charms.
None of them are attacking or causing mayhem yet, I think they're waiting for people to show up...I'd be on your guard, though! You never know when one of these dummies will strike! ooc: Here is how things are going to go. If you're posting in here you should be an ACCIDENTAL MAGIC REVERSAL SQUAD or MUGGLE WORTHY EXCUSE COMMITTEE member ONNNLLLLYYY (others may be given permission to play later on in the RP). Please do NOT RP the dummies...I will be in charge of that ;] Usual RP rules apply--no Unforgiveables and stuff like that. If you have any questions please contact Whitterz, Fae or myself. Oops, apparently she had been wrong in assuming that this would be so easy. She watched as the tendrils wrapped around her legs and started getting at her wrists.
She quickly and forecfully pulled her wrists free before they could get a tight hold of her and suddenly the room was a lit from Silas' wand.
She quickly set about cutting the tendrils away from her legs and then cast the bluebell flame around her like Silas had done. |

As Ben watched the Muggle Worthy Excuse Committee members battle with their dummies, he turned to the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad, who still seemed completey oblivious. That was ok, though...he liked to watch when they didn't know he was there. He could see how they all acted when the boss wasn't around. Hehe.
But...OH MY! They were chopping up the beautiful Devil's Snare! He had only been expecting them to use some sort of heat charm to get rid of it...not chop it up like it was going into a salad! Oh my!
He turned to the dummies lined up against the wall and casually flicked his wand. Instantly, the Devil's Snare vanished completely, and a new dummy rolled out into the middle of the warehouse. This one simply waved its wand, and a number of black birds started to fly out of the tip of the wand, circling around the heads of the Squad members and even pecking at a few of them. The remaining birds all flew up to the top of the warehouse, landing on the giant wood beams up near the ceiling.

Birds? What in the name of Merlin's hand-me-down pocket-watch were they supposed to do about birds.
Silas looked over questioningly at Lima, puzzlement etched across his face. Were birds even a problem? Sure a few of them pecked... but a magical accident?
It certainly wasn't a catastrophe.

Kat laughed lightly, "Sparkling dear? It must be the reflection of the light..hmm...yes, I see what you mean.." She looked around, buying time. What was she to say? "As for the twigs, well, have you not heard? We are from the..Global Warming agency...and we are...pinking up sticks as a way to make the world a safter place! You do know, do you not, how many helpless little animals choke on these sticks every year? It is most saddening..." She sighed dramaticlly.

Well, at least the Devil's Snare was gone now. Shee sighed in relief.
Then the birds came.
Ever since that Detention with Kazi in her last Year at school, she had been scared of birds. For this very reason. It hurt when they pecked at you.
Losing her cool, she started to screech and flail. "They are in my hair!"
She wasn't always one to be cool in a crisis. | |

The dummy that was facing Tasha didn't move, but after a while had another question for the division head. "What are you cleaning up that is so dangerous?" it asked.
The one who was facing Kat, however, spoke right away. "Animals choke on twigs? Those twigs you're holding seem much too big for an animal to even fit in it's mouth? What are you REALLY doing?" the dummy asked. If it could frown, it probably would be doing that right now.
Seeing that one of the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad employees seemed a bit confused, Ben stood up and spoke for the first time to the Squad since entering the warehouse. "Oi, those birds still need taking care of!" he exclaimed. He had thought that this one was easy...surely a cage or something would take care of the situation quickly, yes?
Oh dear, Lima was freaking out hardcore...girls and their hair, he didn't understand it...
He was just about to step in when he heard someone enter the warehouse. OH it was Katy! The liasion-turned-employee! WOOOT!
"Katy! Good to see you again!" Ben said with a grin before turning back to the Squad. "Right now, your division is trying to take care of certain accidents or catastrophes that could possibly occur during the cup," he explained. "They're dealing with the birds at the moment...you can step in any time, or you can wait until they deal with the birds and move onto the next scenario," he explained with a grin.

Tasha thought quickly to make up a place that she worked for. She contiuned talking about what their job entailed. "We cleaned up many places this isn't our first time. I believe we know what we are doing and if we need any help I be sure to call you. If you would like to write down your number I will be surely to call you when the time comes."
She hoped that this information she was feeding the dummie would be enough. "So if you dont mind theres much more to do right now, I must go I will be in touch Thanks for your concern." There she thought, very proud of herself she didn't think she was that good on thinking on her toes. But she managed to pull it off. Hopefully the dummie would go away now so she could get a crack at a new one.

Kat looked at the Dummy seriously.
"You're right..." Kat sighed, "I am sorry I lied, but I think it's better for you and me if I don't tell you why." Nosy Dummy... "I work for the Government in the department of...highest...authority." She lied, "So I would advise you to not ask so many questions because quite frankly, you're wasting my valuable time! I am supposed to be on the way to a meeting with the President and if he chooses not to share with you why everyone is carrying around sticks, then I'd advise you to not stick your nose into the Priministers buisness!" She shouted at the end, pointing at the Dummy angrily.
Pheww...She hoped the Dummy would buy it, it was pretty convincing....I think.

Silas sighed heavily as he felt something hit his shoulder, and then his other shoulder. And then the back of his head. He was grateful, at least, that he'd been looking down, trying to puzzle out what to do about the birds. A face full would not have been welcoming.
Backing away from underneath the birds, Silas walked over toward Ben, who had apparently been watching the fun. Attempting as best he could to clean himself with his wand, he looked at his boss and simply said, "I need to go have a shower. May I go?"

Ewwwwww. Poor Silas had been pooped on...GROSSSSS. See, this was EXACTLY why huge masses of birds who came out of nowhere had to be taken care of ASAP when they appeared...otherwise people got poo-ed on and they were not happy.
"Of course Silas!" Ben said with a smile as the man left the warehouse. He looked down at his watch and--HOLY MERLIN was that how late it was? He had been so wrapped up in watching the fun that he had not even realized what time it was.
"Alright everyone--excellent job! I think we're going to wrap up the training here...you've all done a stellar job! Head back to your offices and grab your things, and I'll inform you all when you're supposed to report for duty for the cup!" he said.
