A DECREE OF THE BEAN Hi, hello, welcome!
As some of you might have already noticed, I (Lislchen) have taken over modding the Bertie Bott's Challenge Area from Kath (sweetpinkpixie). I'm sure you all know she's got some ENORMOUS shoes to fill but I'll do my very best. For now, let's all take a moment to thank her for just how wonderfully she's run this area in the past.
Alright. Did you all leave some love and appreciation for her? Good. I WILL check if you did. No, jk. Maybe. 
While I have your attention, I'd also like to point out a couple of new(ish) things:
- You now have THREE MONTHS to post in your SS25/50/100 threads before it's moved to the Incomplete Drabbles.
- Speaking of Incomplete Drabbles, I compiled an Index of all incomplete drabbles threads. So go check it out, maybe it'll inspire you to start your own or ask for one of your old threads to be reactivated.
- And finally, I posted a new Mini Challenge; I hope you'll have fun with it.

I'm just here to let you guys know that I've tweaked the rules for the Mini Challenges a little bit. For your convenience I've highlighted the updates below:

› You may only use each mini challenge once per SS100/SS50 thread.
› You may use up to five mini challenges or ten mini challenges in your SS50 or SS100 thread, respectively.
› You do not in any way HAVE to use any of the mini challenges in your thread(s). They are only there to offer you an additional resource for you to use from time to time with your writing.
› You do NOT need to post anywhere that you have replaced a prompt. Simply strikeout the prompt from your list and write beside it the title of the mini challenge that you have selected.

With everything that's currently going on, for a lot of us even "small" (or what we usually consider to be "small") tasks might seem like a lot of effort and consequently deter us from doing something we might otherwise really want to do. This is why we (the FanFiction mods) have decided to temporarily move ALL Inactive Drabble threads going back one year - so up until April 14, 2019 - back to the general challenge area.
This means that - should you feel like writing - you can now simply post in your old challenge thread without having to go through asking for your thread to be reactivated. We hope that this makes it a little more accessible and easier for everyone in case you're looking for a creative writing outlet.
I will also not be moving any of the current threads to inactive even if they've not been posted in for over three months. (If you do want your thread moved to the inactive drabbles forum for whatever reason, just contact me, no problem.)
To everyone else whose thread did not fall under this one-year-back group of threads but who is still currently considering picking up their inactive thread again, please post a link to your thread in this thread OR contact me elsewhere (PM, Twitter, WhatsApp, owl, carrier pigeon, etc.) - right now, we would like to make this as easy as possible for you.
This temporary measure will stay in place until May 30th, 2020 (for now).
