Hey everyone, it’s Bre here! I’ve decided to make 2025 the year of reconnecting, and what better way to do that than by spending more time on SS? It feels like forever since I’ve been active here, and I’ve really missed the sense of community and creativity we all share. So, as part of my resolution, I thought I’d dive back in with something fun and familiar—drabbles!
She began packing her trunk, carefully folding her robes and tucking in her spellbooks. She even added a few cute outfits, just in case something unexpected happened—like a date! Why? Still, it never hurt to be prepared.
Finally, Periwinkle placed her favorite quill and blue journal on top of everything, giving them a pat as if to say, "You're coming with me!" She closed the trunk with a satisfied grin.
"I'm all done!" she shouted, dragging the heavy trunk toward the door. Her sister Thora appeared, rolling her eyes but smiling as she helped carry it out. Periwinkle's heart soared.

1. Herbology
Her Herbology textbook splayed open in front of her like a map. Plants. Dirt. Roots. She’d rather wrestle a Blast-Ended Skrewt than figure out why Devil’s Snare was so touchy about light.
Thora’s words echoed in her head: “There’s always room for growth and improvement.” Easy for Thora to say. Peri, couldn’t even keep a cactus alive.
Determined, she squinted at the page on Mandrakes. "Crying roots can cause fainting," she muttered. “Same, honestly.” She poked at the potted Mandrake beside her, half-expecting it to sass her back. Instead, it just sat there, looking as unimpressed as she felt.
