Laura hadn't seen her sister for ages for some reason, maybe it was because she had been busy with the children back home. She would have to see if Lana wanted to go to the sea-side with them when they went in a few weeks time. "I'm good." She was totally enjoying being with her twin, seriously was this the first time in month? Why was it always like that?

She looked at her sister and then smiled. "So, what have you been doing lately?" She then decided to look at her sister. "Oh and how have you been?"

Lana smiled and shrugged slightly as she got a good look at her sister. "I've been good. Travelling and stuff. " To be honest, travelling was all she really did and being in one place for too long had always been a bit strange for her. The past few years had been spent on the continent and this was probably the first time she had been back to England, let alone London, in the past two years.

"I'm on a bit of a break," she added with a nod. "I figured it was time that I went to visit mum and dad. Plus, it's been way to long since I've seen the kids." She was an aunt and sometimes she forgot that fact. "How are the kids doing?"

Oh he knew Joe, well she wasn't surprised. Everyone seemed to know Joe. Not that it was a bad thing. One day she hoped everyone would know her or well the Sirens. "Cool, I know how to fly, but not well. So I stick with flying horses." That's what she loved best really.

"No probably. Have fun looking and if you need anything else just let me know." She gave him another smile before turning back to organizing some of the shelves.

Ok he was already a big fan of the Hadsterz, but she knew her rock bands and she can even sing a classic one out of memory. Two thumbs way up for ya! Oh and your twin too of course.

"Well it’s the most obvious difference, magical melodies has been known to do other things…. Lots of good things, others not so great." He wasn’t really sure if not-Hadley knew about song birds that can drive listeners insane, but given how she was earlier, maybe its best that he keep mum about that.

"I LOVE Falcor!" the Gryffindor beamed, the shadow of his toddler self very apparent "When I asked my folks for a puppy dragon I thought I was gonna get Falcor!.... Instead I got a cute cruppy. But she's cool, she's been with is forever."

Katy's wardrobe was light on t-shirts, not because she wasn't allowed to wear them but because she had so much OTHER STUFF to wear and most of it wasn't... t-shirty. But since she'd come to the realization that t-shirts were perfectly reasonable clothing options if they meant something, she was on the hunt for a meaningful music related article of clothing.

Like a Glitter Dragon t-shirt with pink glittery script and strategically ragged sleeves. She wanted one!

In all honesty, Takeru wouldn't buy any of this merchandise. None of it. No to the tshirts, the posters the magazines. What a waste of money in his opinion. If you really liked a band or artist you'd buy their music, not just show off with their faces or names on your body.

Taking a seat in one of the corners the thirteen year old couldn't help notice a girl looking around. Huh. Was she actually going to buy something?

Sadly it would mean leaving Hades behind again after one year at University. "Don't worry though. I'll visit you a lot and you're always welcome to the apartment. Plus I'll be getting those griffs settled in and I want you to be around for that.''

"How about this, then? We just go through them all and whichever we like, we'll take them.'' And he' be paying for them, yes? Okay! And hey! "I found an Atreyu one!'' Woot! Adi held it up so that the band members were full on display via the hoodie. "Benny's going to love this.''

Kidnapping... Noelle blinked because she hadn't thought about that. She almost bit her lip because she actually felt a little bad.... But she didn't. She kept her composure. "Well... There are downsides to everything. I guess it's a good thing no one kid napped you then?" Noelle knew what it felt like to be kidnapped. She'd been locked in a dungeon for 6 months.

Deep breath.

"I do. But doesn't mean I don't listen and love her." Noelle told him and flipped through the book again. "You will just have to learn to trust me then." Seemed the only option left. Noelle liked to fix things. He needed fixing.

What was he doing?? Noelle was eyeing him hardcore as he came closer and leaned forward. Then the sigh. Yeah. He got a good eye roll at that.

And a good poke in the forehead.

Henry supposed that made sense. Not everyone was that into music, just like anything else. He did have his favorite bands and listened to them quite a bit, but he probably wasn't as fanatic about it as some people could get. "That's what friends are for, I guess," he grinned. To share their music with each other, and he'd happily share the music he liked with her too. Henry nodded about the muggle devices. "I take Muggle Studies, so it's no problem for me to just stop by and check." Or maybe he'd even say something to Professor Stewart.

"Is it that obvious?" he asked with a laugh. He'd think so since he was usually found either playing a sport or talking about one, or even if he wasn't, then he was probably off bouncing a ball somewhere. But it probably wasn't that unexpected with as much as sports and games ran in his family. He grinned at her words. "You really think so? Maybe one day." It was pretty much his dream to play pro just like his sister. Maybe he'd even play with her or against her one day. Though realistically he knew she'd probably be done playing by the time he might get the opportunity. But a lot of fans would be really great too.

"Well, that's great," he said about the camp. "I think camp is always more fun with friends." Not that he ever had any trouble making friends if he didn't know anyone, but he always enjoyed his Quidditch camps and the like when he already knew someone there. "Yeah," he nodded with a small smile. He'd agree about doing something fun outside of Hogwarts, and he had his own ideas about that. "Summer is a good time for that, I think. Not as much stuff like that at school." Though there was always stuff to do there if one thought about it creatively enough.

He didn't need anyone's pity; it was actually incredibly embarrassing. Cornelius shrugged again, like it didn't matter and it hadn't affected him in the least. When in reality it was the reason he was pursuing hand-to-hand combat and dueling. "After the first time, nope. No one managed to kidnap me," he said, confessing this in a manner, for the first time. Something about Noelle--her prying maybe--coaxed him to admit that.

The Slytherin boy eyed her, observing. That deep breath. From his general observations of people, it made him think that she knew the feeling of their topic. Either personally or from a personal distance. Could she have..? "Familiar with the feeling?" Of being kidnapped, that is.

Well. That hit a spot. Cornelius thought about it for a few quick seconds. Listen and love? He didn't listen to his dad, hell no. He was the one responsible for his issues. Love? Eh. He HAD to love him. The man contributed to the glorious making of Cornelius Orion Baltazar.

Lol. Hold on, though. The right corner of his mouth curled. "You will have to earn my trust then." Not even Noelle's pretty little face could make him trust easily. Maybe.

His smirk grew more from the look she was giving him. It wasn't like he was going to bite her.

Cornelius had seen her hand coming, so being the little jack-donkey he was, the boy moved his head in time and then HOWLED in PAIN. "My eye, my eye! My freaking EYE."

Katy pinched her bottom lip as she studied each of the pink, glittery shirts in turn. They looked the same, but the rips were just slightly different and some of the glitter print was smearing and... they weren't really all the same.

She spotted the boy watching her at just about the time that she decided maybe she didn't want a t-shirt after all. "What do you think of Glitter Dragon?"

Everyone knew what Frankie meant to her. It was very clear and she never did anything to show otherwise. Adi had nothing to worry about. "Disadvantages are you leaving me behind but there's good in it also." He got to experience things first and then tell her what NOT to do. Hady looked up at him and grinned sweetly. "You better come visit me lots and get those Hippogriffs all up and ready for me."

"Sounds good to me," she agreed. Looking through a pill of hoodies was always entertaining. Shifting through the racks she paused looking over her shoulder when Adi said he found what he was looking for. An Atreyu hoodie. "Wicked! That's seriously cool!" Her band really needed some hoodies with their name on it.

okay she didn't mind that the store was busy but man did she really need to be bumped."heyy careful" she said as she didn't want to drop the things in her hand.

Teegan gave the guy a look... he looked a bit familiar. . Could it be.... "Sam?......." she said it almost like a whisper because she didn't want to weird him out if it wasn't him

Sam felt a flutter in his stomach when he recognized that voice. He hadn't heard the voice in YEARS. Not since his teenage years when he had a little crush on, "Teegan?" He got a good look at the woman, his smile growing as he did so, and he added, "I haven't seen you since -" Merlin, who knew HOW long. They had been close at Hogwarts and for a few years following graduation, but then they had sadly lost contact.

"How are things?" It was crazy that one glimpse at her face brought back years of memories. He felt like he was back at Hogwarts again; back to the years when things were simpler.

She was right!! it was him!"SAM!" she said while turning around and giving him a big smile! "its been too long" she said while he was asking her how things were..

She just hugged him.

"wayy too long" she let go of their hug and smirked at him.

"just traveling for now, you know see the world" she still had so much to see.

"what about you?" she leaned against the shelfs

Sam wrapped his arms around her and returned her hug. It was nice seeing a familiar face around these parts since the only person he spent his time with was Nolan and sometimes Logan but mostly just Nolan. And Gavin and Tasha when they were so BUSY. He led a sad, pitiful life nowadays; he buried himself into his job when his daughter was not around.

"Seeing the world? Must be nice." He grinned. "What brought you back to this city?" He was curious. Was she here seeing someone, perhaps?

"Same old, same old," he replied to her question. "I'm working at the Ministry." Possibly thinking about retiring from Law Enforcement... "I've been living in America; I came back to London last year with my daughter."

it wasn't always so nice, the world is a dangerous place "it's nice.... at times" she was traveling alone and right now she just wanted to be with as many friends and family as possible. "mostly visiting my brother Levi, ohh you remember him yeah? gosh you haven't seen him since he was so small. He's such a great man now! , and tall"

She would never admit that to Levis but they were best friends.

"oh, what are you doing for the ministry? .. I do some freelance work for them time to time...in my travels" Hey if a girls in a dangerous place and comes across some dangerous creatures she's going to help and send what she can to London.

"oh exciting.. I'm glad you back, I'll be in London for a while we must..... awwww wait that's so sweet, I'd love to meet her" Teegan noticed how he only said daughter, she wasn't going to pry.

Sam nodded at her comment. "The world is..." What was the right adjective to use? "Stange, to say the least. I was born and raised here." Which she already know. "I've lived in New York, and my younger brothers are scattered all over the world. South Africa... Nevada... I visit them from time to time." He felt like he's seen it all but in reality, he's only seen a portion of what this world had to offer. "Merlin! Yes, it's been years! How's he doing? What's he up to?"

"Law Enforcement," he replied. "I was Department Head for a while, and now I'm just floating around trying to make a living. I'm thinking about doing some freelancing next year, so maybe you could help me out." He felt like his time at the Ministry was coming to an end, but he still had a daughter to take care of.

He smiled. "You should come over sometime! I have a flat that's not too far away from here." He really wanted to catch up with his old friend. "I'm not sure if she's coming home for Christmas, but you can meet her in the summer! She's a lovely girl... growing up way too fast for me though!"

Diagon Alley or bust - Polyvore

At first, Chloe mostly went into the music shop to get out of the sun. She had been running around all day, and while it wasn't sweltering, the fact that she worn a long sleeve shirt might have been a mistake. It might have also been a mistake to wear the shirt with the thickest material known to her closet, but there was no fixing that now and the world was going to have to deal with gross and red faced Chloe for today. At least her shoes were mostly comfortable, despite the fact that she didn't wear socks today and was beginning to get a blister.

However, now that she was taking a break from her errands, Chloe realized that this shop was perfect. She loved music, especially since her sister sang in the chorus and she had to go to every concert. She loved music even more when her sister joined a rock band and began wearing too much eyeliner, screaming her heart out in their garage every afternoon. Chloe remembered sitting in on their practices, her legs crossed on the concrete floor, watching the band attempt to play popular songs. Because, while they poured their hearts into their music and worked for three hours every day, the group was bad. Really bad. Like, never got asked to perform anywhere bad. Actually Chloe was pretty sure she had one of her sisters old band shirts -yes, they actually printed shirts- in the back of her closet somewhere, their mom grumbling every time it was worn.

And that wasn't even mentioning the fact that she had been meaning to purchase her favorite record again. When she first got the record for her birthday, she hid it from her sister, went into the attic and played it obsessively, breaking the record in the process. It was the worst moment in her life and she cried until her mom bought her a new one.

Twirling a piece of her curly hair around her index finger, Chloe looked around for anything that caught her eye, taking a piece of gum out of the pocket of her shirt and popping it into her mouth.

Brent had been in the Alley for a few hours now and had everything but school on his mind. It was summer break, man! Classes and supplies could wait a while. He'd had one heck of a school year, what with those poltergeists and the terrifying monster they'd all helped defeat. He could afford some serious down time.

There was one thing he missed about school, though, and that was his new friends. He'd hoped that by coming to the Alley, he'd see some of them. In the meantime, he decided to go hang out, because that was an obvious place teens would be during the summer. If not there, he'd try the ice cream shop, Quidditch shop, Leaky Cauldron, or Bowling Alley.

For now, though, he was checking out the selection of music Atticus' had to offer. He picked up an album, checked it out, and then accidentally put it back in the wrong place. To his surprise, the album was gone a second later, and sure enough, it had made its way back home to the place it belonged. Duuuuuude. That was cool!

The music store was a place Eddie didn't usually go, but he figured he'd stop by and see what all the fuss was about. He really wasn't into music that much. He listened to it when his mom had it on, but he didn't pay much attention to it.
He was busy trying to figure other things out to listen to music.

Today though he was going to go in and see what it was all about. Looking around the shop he didn't even know the first thing to look for. Maybe he'd find something his mom listened to just to get brownie points. He'd need them after what hew as planning on doing to Miranda. If he had his mother on his side maybe he wouldn't get into trouble as much as he would most likely be getting into.

Katerina had money she had gotten paid for her first baby sitting job. You know what she first thing she did was? Come to Atticus attic, to look around to see what music they had. It would be fun to have some new hip music to play at her birthday party. Speaking of which she needed to get her invitations and get them owled out to everyone. There good and bad things to having a summer birthday. One good thing is she could actually have party, and bad thing was pretty much everyone in her year was already fifteen.

She had been wanting to do a joint birthday party for her and Brady since they started at school. With the crazy term Kat thought it was just as good as a time to do it that any. Flipping though the albums, she wasn't paying much attention to other things around her and ended up bumping into someone. She looked up to see a familiar face. [b]"Oh Hey, Brent!"[/s] Smiling at him, then giving him a nudge. What was he doing here?

Théo was not the biggest music fan and was second guessing why he was even here. He was even thinking about turning around and going to the Quidditch shop where he knew exactly what he wanted and would have fun looking around. But here he was and well probably could get his brother something or whatever.

Ooo those posters looked cool.

Théo wandered over to them and started staring.

Brent was putting an album back on the shelf, when he felt someone bump into him. The album almost fell from his hands, but he managed to keep a hold on it and put it back where it belonged. "Kat!" he said with a grin. Kat was awesome. Even though Brent had only been at Hogwarts a year, he'd met a lot of good friends, and Kat was one of them. "I was hoping I would run into some people I knew." He'd follow that with a 'what's up' or something like that, but she was in a music shop. It was obvious that she was checking out the selection of songs.

"I'm just hanging out in the Alley today. No way am I ready to shop for school supplies or anything like that," he continued. He could always do that at the last minute. It wasn't like he was a first year. The fifth year list couldn't be that long, right? "That reminds me. Fifth year is OWL year." He made a face. Despite the fact that he'd promised himself he wouldn't focus on school just yet, it was hard not to think about something like OWLs. "So how's the summer treating ya? Doing anything cool and exciting?" That was way better to talk about than school.

After overhearing about Professor Marchand at the closing feast last month, Skylar suddenly had a keen interest in learning more about music. Either that or was just she was getting older and needed something beyond toddler noise.

Entering the music shop, the brunette glanced around in amazement at all the merchandise in here. It was more than just albums though, but there was racks of posters and attire, which amazed Skylar because how could she have been so blissfully naive to this world for almost fourteen years?

Seeing a small child staring at some posters, she stood next to him, copying his stance for a moment before speaking. "They'd look pretty good on the ceiling of the Hogwarts dormitories, I reckon." She wondered then if there was one with Marchand's band in it, but then again, did he even play with a band or was he soloist? Perhaps he had an album here she could check out... he was her Charms teacher for two years and she felt like she barely knew him. But then again, she barely knew most of her teachers, except what they taught and their names.
