The door to the Astronomy class is wide open and as you enter you see that the room is nicely lit and properly warmed for a growing colder early November midnight. Despite the windows being open and a cool breeze drifting through them, it’s still fairly warm.
The desks are all arranged neatly in their usual pattern, and there doesn’t seem to be any assigned seating anymore. Apparently Professor Kennedy has given up on that, or he learned his students names? Either way, feel free to sit wherever you wish.
The telescopes looked shiny in the bright light and yet you can’t help but notice how bright the moon and stars look tonight, the long windows in the room really gave such a good view of the night sky.
You will notice something though as you enter the room,Kalen isn’t sitting at his desk. No, he is standing next to a window, silhouetted against the sky. Peering upwards as if looking for something.
Huh.. wonder what that’s all about?
OOC: Welcome to Astronomy class!. Just remember that even though this is the first Rp’d class this is not your second class with Professor Kennedy! Come on in, say Hi and we will continue on in about 24 hours.. ish! Also please keep the chatting to a minimum! Class has started! All late comers will face IC consequences, so feel free to pretend like your Charrie was here all along.

Instead, he just dropped his bag next to a desk in the back, nearest to the windows, in the hope that the fresh air would awaken him. He was so tempted to use his bag as a pillow and take a nap before class, but he knew he wouldn't wake up until the next day if he did so.
Kalen turned his green eyes from the sky for a moment as kids started arriving and he nodded at the sleepy looking child. Not unusual for his class of course. Especially for the younger ones. “Hello Mr.Yoon.”

"Hey Professor, see anything interesting out there?".
Walking slowly now and somewhat stealthily, he approached Daniel. "Hey Dusty. Tired much?". Pulling his rucksack off of his shoulder, he bent down and placed it carefully on the floor before finally flumping on it. With a small sigh, he looked out towards the stars, searching for his favourite constellation.
Kalen barely had time to turn his attention back to the sky with another student entered and he nodded. “Hello Mr.Jones, and I do indeed. Always.” He said with a smile as he turned back to the window.

She also wanted to make sure there was room next to her for Daisy to sit, if she wanted to.
Once she was settled in her seat, she gave a little wave to the two others that had arrived before her. "Hi Ewan, hi Daniel." She hoped both boys were as excited about class as she was.
A smile pulled at Kalens lips as someone asked how he was, in a manner of speaking. “Very well indeed, Miss Walsh, I hope you are also?” He asked as she sat down.

After a bit, Quinn lowered her eyes, and surveyed the room. She spotted Daniel and probably would have sat near him so Beth didn't have to pick which of them to sit near tonight, except, Ewan was already there, hovering around Daniel as he seemed to a lot these days, buzzing like a fly more than likely. Tosser.
Quinn studied the only other student there at the moment, appraising her for a long moment before finally taking a seat, far from Ewan. There was only one reason she was looking forward to this class tonight, and it had little to do with the stars, and nothing to do with the Professor.
Kalen noticed the first year coming into the room, but since she didn’t acknowledge him, he simply went back to his sky gazing.

Ahh this one was not as quiet, it was interesting seeing all their reactions to him gazing out the window. He was glad some of them said hello. For although he looked deep in thought.. he was just.. waiting. “Hello Miss Prichard.” He said as he went back to his waiting.

"Hello Professor Kennedy," said Lydia. "Sorry for almost bumping into you. Are you..er..looking for anything in particular out there?"
Lydia noticed that Ewan, Daniel, and Rylee had already arrived. After Professor Kennedy's response, she walked over to the little group which also included a young badger who she hadn't been properly introduced to yet.
"Hey guys," she said. To the Hufflepuff she smiled and said, "Lydia Beckett. I don't think we've properly met yet. Do you mind if I sit near you three?"
Lydia saw Quinn enter the classroom as well, but she stayed far from Ewan and Daniel. Lydia gave her a wave.
For the love of Merlin! It wasn’t like he was in the way! They had plenty of room to get their seats and someone runs into him? “Next time be a little more careful Miss Beckett.” He said as he shook his head.. “And I am.” He said as he turned his attention back to the sky. Having already learned the Hogwarts syllabus all the way up to and beyond the NEWT level, there was no real need to keep attending--and surely if it came to that her Head of House would see it that way too....but again....Prefects were meant to set an example and actually attend their lessons. She supposed it wasn't too far fetched to believe that if you allowed one to skip, you'd have to allow the multitude and that would be a whole other issue that she didn't intend to be in the middle of.
No thanks. It may have required explanation and justification, neither of which she was particularly keen on giving.
"Hello Mr. Kennedy." She mumbled, turning the page to continue reading but as she looked up, she realized that not only was someone else in her seat--that herd of younger students actually--but also.....her name was no longer there.
She liked that seat.
Quite a bit chuffed about it, Jessa came to a stop beside the man, looking up as he was currently doing. "What're you looking at and why've we changed the way we do our seating?" To get used to another seat, while inconsequential to most was something of a big deal for her.
Ahh Yes. Leave it to Miss Cambridge to question something that no one else had. “People complained or wanted to keep switching seats, so I gave up.” His deep voice was blunt as he spoke. “As for what I’m looking for.. you’ll find out soon enough.” It was lucky for him none of the kids were looking outside, for he had been seeing flashes of things for a few minutes now.

He hoped this would be the lesson they learned about martians.
The Professor appreciated the silence, really he did. Thank you Mr.Carden.

Also, star-gazing was generally a relaxing task and Merlin knew that this She-Snake could use all the relaxation techniques she could get.
Claiming a seat near Kye, she gave a brief smile to the dormmate as her blue-gray eyes found the professor by the window. Tilting her head curiously, she was about to greet him, but decided against it. He seemed very transfixed in thought, after all, which in Skylar's experience, interrupting someone when they were deep in thought was not beneficial. To either party. So instead, she proceeded to get situated with her notes, wondering if the bright skies would have something to do with today's lessons
Ahh another quiet student, he appreciated that Miss Diggory, though he did send a nod her way.

Look at all these students being so nice and quiet, Kalen really approved of that. Not to mention he might have found a new way to get the kids to not talk to him.. Huh. But still another nod went in Patrick’s direction.

Kirk went to a seat close by the window, he wanted to get the best sight of course. But before that he spotted their Professor taking in the sights already. Naturally, Kirk went near to check too. "Hello Professor.. you checking out Capella tonight?" That was likely one of the brightest stars to see if Kirk had remembered his charts correctly, of course.
“Not tonight Mr.Forsfelle, though it certainly is bright, something else has my attention.” He said with a soft smile. Could he see it too? Though perhaps he didn’t know what he was looking for?

He didn't feel like greeting the professor, would a simple nod of greeting be sufficient? But it seems Professor Kennedy was preoccupied looking out of the window. So in order to avoid eye contact, Nathan quickly slipped into the class quietly and sat at the very back.
A nod would suffice, and Kalen sent one back to the boy before turning back to the window.

Nice to meet him? Kalen raised an eyebrow at the girl and shook his head a bit, apparently she had forgotten about the two months of classes they had already had? He had no answers that were nice, so instead he just nodded.

Star gazing was, at the very least, generally a pretty class? At midnight it should be, as long as they got to see whatever it was that the professor was preoccupied with. A cheesy love song randomly popped into her head at the thought and made her want to gag. At that moment she didn't bother more than a nod for the professor and went to find a seat for their scheduled torture. She really hated love songs, as if all that rubbish was real...
Scanning the room, she saw her Baby Snake and Tweetless Bird looking for their boyfriends....Baby Snake doing that 'Oh boy, I like you so much' double hair tuck....by Merlin's big white man beard, was it breeding season already!? The tall brunette rolled her eyes to herself and wandered as far to the front of the room as possible for once.
She didn't want to watch any of this, it was not her scene or forte...call her when the idiotic males hurt their poor little hearts and made them cry. Then...then she could help. Teach them how to crush souls and break bodies, which hexes and jinxs to use and when...that was what Eria was good at.
Despite her surname, love was certainly not her craft. No, that had been her stupid Puff sister's talent. Eria had never experienced the phenomenon, she debated if it existed outside of the bond she had with her mother.
Seating herself still as alone as possible, she braced herself for what consequences this would bring...what horrid neighbors she might now gain, or rather have forced upon her. Well, it was pick your poison and fire whiskey wasn't on the table...
Kalen merely sent a nod to Miss Lovecraft before turning back to the window.

Kalen glanced at his watch as another student came in. “Hello Mr. Prichard. And I am looking up at the sky.” He said as he just shrugged at the other question before the boy scampered off.
Kalen finally turned from his spot near the window as the watch on his wrist clicked over to midnight. He strode over to his desk and with a flick of his finger, closed the door. He turned towards the class and gave them all a smile.
“Hello class.” He said as he leaned against his desk. His voice still held a bit of a rasp that hadn’t been there last year, due to his run in with a curse, but he had tried to compensate by making his voice deeper than usual. Did it work? Who knew.
“I suppose some of you were wondering why I was looking out the window, but you will find that out in a few minutes. His hand automatically reaching for his steaming cup of tea that seemed to be ever present around his person.
“Before we get into the majority of the lesson, I have a quick question.” Kalen said as his green eyes shifted to the window and then he checked his watch again. “What is your favorite thing that you have seen in the sky? Sitting in silence was well and good, but she could still not unsee or unhear all of the coupleness that had been happening and irritating her. She would keep at the front and wait things out, hopefully a grand distraction would happen soon.
Much to her relief, the professor started addressing the class rather than just giving greetings. That was fortuitous.....
Thank you captain obvious, of course the students were curious....but she happened to be indifferent because she'd gone to this rodeo enough to know how it all worked.
Why what pretty sights they'd seen had mattered she wasn't certain. With these professors it tied in somehow...they didn't typically as idle useless stupid questions. Typically....
It didn't take the lanky brunette long to answer, the man had her full almost silent focus. "Aurora Australis in April from Stewart Island, New Zealand" That sight she'd never forget...the one good memory she had with her father was that trip.
Reese's hand shot up, but he didn't wait to be called on at all.. " The North Star.. It's helped me find my way back home more than once.. It's a lifesaver.. ", he replied..

Ooooooh, a perfect night for viewing something? Professor Kennedy definitely had his full attention now. Please be aliens, please be aliens.
But first...
Max raised his hand in the air and answered the question somewhat shyly. He didn't want anyone thinking he was strange, okay?
"I really like looking at the clouds... y'know, all the different shapes and stuff." He remembered playing that game as a kid where you had to find shapes or objects in the clouds. "But the sky before a storm is my favourite." And then the lightning was super cool.

"I'm very well, thank you." She replied before giving a wave to more of the newcomers. Once class had started, she focused her complete attention on the professor. She wondered what it was that he loved most about the sky.
"Sir, I love lightening storms. They are so beautiful, especially when they are at night." Those were her absolute favorites. "You never said what your favorite is. Do you have one?" Her curiosity had gotten the better of her and she had to ask.
While she waited for more of the students to answer, she jotted down what all of the favorites where, in case she hadn't seen them before, so she could look them up. Not all of the things could be seen from Hogwarts, so books would have to do for the time being.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
People....people complained......so....so he gave up.......?
Huh.
Jessa cocked her head to the side, taking in the man curiously even as others joined them by the window. Ronan and Kirk both got nods but the others were, for the most part, ignored. Right now, she was much too preoccupied. People complained and he felt that was enough to change the system.
Well in that case.
"I'm complaining now too then." And it was only fair he listened unless some people's complaints were deemed more valuable than hers. "That Gryffindor is in my seat and I'd like it back." She said, pointing to the Gryffindor Second Year sat by the window and a group of presumably her friends. The window seat was a life saver when the tedium of each lesson kicked in. She wouldn't be giving it up "because people complained".
For now, Jessa remained standing by the window, waiting for the Professor to rectify the situation but fully prepared to continue standing by the window if such a request could not be fulfilled.
"The moon when it's full." See, she wasn't even gonna asnwer that question but wanted him to see how cooperative she was potentially willing to be. It'd been a long time since she last answered one of the start up questions instead of simply tuning them out.

Nathan barely even noticed Rylee had came by to sit next to him. He lifted his head towards her when she tugged on his sleeve to speak. He blinked at her. Hmm? Was he that obvious? Sigh. He wasn’t in a mood to respond her. But this was Rylee, who was sweet enough to sit next to him. He didn’t have the heart to push her away. “Okay.” He simply nodded.
And for the question. Yeah...he liked a lot of things to see in the sky. He preferred to stare at the clouds during the day and the stars at night. A meteor shower would be a rare sight but he wouldn’t reject the idea if he had the opportunity to watch them right now. But yeah, for now he passed the question to let others answer instead.

Kirk gave a slight smile and nod to Ronan, Jessa, Stasya, among the others he knew and made eye contact with. So the Professor wasn't checking out Capella.. yet. Something was though, hmm. This was gonna be quite the guessing game since there were a number of constellations, stars and... oh. There's that other possibility.
He didn't think about it until the question came along regarding something he enjoyed seeing in the sky. "Spotting Mars, among the other planets. Especially when it's looking bright." It almost was like the first time every time.

Derf was here and had been here...but midnight was SO late and it always felt like cruel cruel punishment. Especially with it being OWL term and sleep already being hard to gather on top of everything else. So it was that the fifth year had sunk into his seat with a yawn and a sort of half wave towards the librarian....and had returned to his usual seat without noticing that there was a change. He was functioning far too much on autopilot right now to notice details or much of anything to be honest.
Lazily getting some parchment, his quill, and textbook out....Derf was arranging his things while the librarian began the lesson and ALMOST missed things because he let out another long YAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN just at the right moment.
But his favorite thing he had seen in the sky? THAT was EASY. So in the next instant his hand had SHOT up into the air. "It's sorta a toss up between a Thunderbird and a New Caledonian owlet-nightjar, especially cause those little birds are an endangered species with like...only around 50 or so left in the WORLD so spotting one is a rare treat. Also seeing a phoenix in flight. OH! And a Antipodean Opaleye!"
Naaaaaaaaaaaaailed it.

The best best best thing she'd seen in the sky? Merlin, that was difficult to say. There were loads of great things - stars and interesting clouds and the moon in every phase and an eclipse and meteor showers and constellations! and and and... How was she meant to pick just one thing?
She'd just pick one and know that it wasn't superlative by any means. Chloe raised her hand and grinned at Professor Kennedy. "Sometimes the full moon sits in the branches of the trees in our garden, like a big pearl or some sort of apple for a giant. It's really beautiful and provides enough light to read all by itself."
In his half-asleep state, Daehyun could only hum in response to Ewan's question. Emmalyn, Quinn, Rylee, Lydia, and Beth all got a lazy wave, and he really hoped none of them would take it the wrong way. He just wasn't capable of human interaction in that state.
As the class began, he couldn't help but notice that professor Kennedy sounded rather different, but he was too tired to assess what exactly was wrong with the man. Instead, he raised his hand at the question. "Once I saw a germinid meteor shower. It was-woa." Woa just about summed it up.
Were they about to witness a great phenomenon?

Hmm well Bel's answer was probably a bit different to everyone else. Astronomy was great and she liked the stars and the night sky and everything but her favourite thing in the sky, which was still actually astronomy related, Bel stuck her hand up.
"I love the sun, professor. On a perfect day, where you can even see the rays in the blue." Aaaand like Max had said (she tried not to glance at him but was smiling a bit), "Its even better with those perfect fluffy clouds that change shape while you're watching, but don't ever seem to block the sunshine or the warmth of it on your skin. And it reflects off the water and everything is light and warm and lovely. The sun is my favourite." And it counted as astronomy, right? Because it WAS a star....

The professor's voice was a stark reminder of the Dufftown incident for the Head Boy, though he didn't show it. He was, however, hoping that the Williams that had been caught had been sent straight to Azkaban and that her brother had either been caught or would be soon.
Anyway, the class was starting, so Ronan let his patronus fade away and made his way to his seat, moving his stuff out of the way.
Favorite thing he'd seen in the sky? Uh, he couldn't choose just one. Though, he knew better than to mention jets again, considering the reaction he'd gotten the last time (though the mention had been accidental). "When the sunset turns vivid orange, red and, in some cases, a slight tinge of purple." Yep, that would do.

Honestly, the question had so many possible answers and Vivian, being the indecisive person that she was, couldn't simply narrow it down to just one favourite thing about the sky. She could probably even joke that her favourite thing was Skylar Diggory. Because... Skylar. Duh.
But anyway, since some of them had already answered a few of her favourites, there was no point repeating those. And her co-head mentioning sunsets too. One of these days, when she wasn't busy with patrol or classes, Vivian made a mental note to just sit outside and watch those too. "The sunrise too, Professor," the Head Girl offered. "Watching the sky shift from the darkness to light." She'd caught a few of them while going on her early morning jogs. Stunning, really.

Hana made sure to take out her notebook and write down notes when needed to. She looked at the professor when he began to speak up and ask his first question.
What is your favorite thing that you have seen in the sky?
Hmm... that is a rather hard question to answer. There are a lot of things to like about the sky.
"I like looking at the stars at night" she answered. Of course she had no particular favorite star. All the stars looked pretty. Oh and she almost forgot, "I also love how the sky changes colors during sunrise". she added.

What did she like in the sky? That was a hard question to be honest because she liked so much. Astronomy was her favourite class, and as an artist she adored painting anything. The sky was a major feature of that. She knew the answer though, and really it had been the first thing that had popped into her head once the question had been asked. There was no denying this was her favourite since her sketchpad was full of it at the moment. It had been her favourite thing for a while, and she was planning on doing a series of related paintings.
She popped her hand into the air and spoke when it was her turn. "I love the sunrise too!" She murmured with a smile. "Especially over the great lake. It's just so peaceful, and it's different every single day. It's great to paint, and very relaxing to watch" which was why she had taken to watching it at least once a week

Rylee fixed her eyes on her older friend and his one word reply that did absolutely nothing for her. 'Okay'. Yeah, no. That wasn't good enough and Rylee wasn't buying it. The ginger haired second year tucked a lock of her behind her ear as she watched Nathan in silence for a long moment. "You should really try smiling more. It will help. Like this," with that she gave him a bright smile and even a soft sweet gentle giggle, one that only a young child could give. "See, it's easy. Now you try." She was going to get a smile out of him. One way or another she would see him happy even for a second tonight... this morning?
Huh? Oh, yeah the lesson. Turning in her seat, Rylee looked that Professor Kennedy when he started them off with a question. "I really enjoy laying outside at night and watching the stars come out... we did that a lot during the summer." Simple. She glanced at Reese as she spoke before her attention went back to the professor and then to Nathan once again.

In the back of her mind, Maddie had wondered if she'd get in trouble for saying 'What's up' to a professor. She was pleasantly surprised, though, when the professor seemed to actually crack a joke in return. It was definitely a welcome change when professors weren't so strict about things like that. She smiled at the professor but didn't say anything else.
She covered her mouth as she yawned. After two full years at Hogwarts and some of a third, she still wasn't completely used to midnight classes. She peered up at the professor as the lesson officially got underway. What was her favorite thing she'd seen in the sky? She knew this answer right away! "The Northern Lights," she said. "They're beautiful!" They weren't quite as far away as watching planets or something like that, but they still counted, right?

Thinking it over, Patrick tried to determine his favorite thing about the sky. He really liked sunsets, but more than that he really liked storms, the deep clouds, but the amazing way a storm worked just blew his mind every time it stormed back home. On the other hand he really liked to just sit and stare at the stars.
Raising his hand, he finally decided he couldn't just pick one. "Honestly Professor, I'm torn. On the one hand I really like storms, they do something really cool to the sky. On the other, a clear crisp sky is equally as awesome because you can see everything and get to experience just how small you are compared to the sky."

Chase pauses, listening to a professor Kennedy’s question and the responses that his fellow students supplied. His favourite event that had ever occurred in the Sky. He was partial to sunrises. Sunrises to him were rare to see as he often slept through them. The possibility of seeing one both scared and excited him. The colours Of pinks, oranges, and yellows bleeding together and forming a beautifully melded tapestry of colours in the sky above him. It was spectacular but it wasn’t the most remarkable thing he had seen.
He raised his hand. “I saw a lunar eclipse. It was so odd to see an orange colored moon looming above me. It sort of gave me a doomsday mixed with adventure vibe. It was absolutely intriguing,” he spoke. Intriguing and unsettling.
Quinnlin nodded back at Beth between ocassional anxious glances at the door. What was taking Reese so long? Although, she already knew the answer to that. The Ravenclaw common room was much closer to the astronomy tower than the Hufflepuff common room was.
As she waited, she glanced up at the night sky. It was beautiful, of course, as always, but this class never really appealed to Quinn. She'd much rather be engrossed in some fictional story, or writing her own, or studying magical theory next to the fire in her common room.
His voice drew her attention away, and smile spread along the corners of her mouth, which then flared wider when she felt him kiss her cheek, leaving behind a rosy warmth that lingered on both cheeks. Only Reese seemed able to make her blush.
"Hey yourself." Quinn's right hand instantly found his left and claimed it as her own. She'd likely have to let go to take notes, although the option to simply copy the notes Reese took later was slightly more appealing to her in that moment.
She shifted in her seat so she could rest her head on his comfortable shoulder, and glanced back up at the Professor's question. She wasn't sure if this counted as the sky, but it had been above her, but the image that flashed in mind at the question was strong and clear and settled peacefully through her.
She'd been 7, and her parents had gone...somewhere for a few weeks, leaving her in the care of Keesey, the family elf as usual. And it had started snowing in the night, so Quinn had thrown on warm clothes and stepped out, because snow. The world was so quiet and serene and she must have stood under that old-fashioned looking street lamp for an hour, just watching the snow fall past it, lighting up orange in the lamps glow. It had been mesmerizingly gorgeous.
Instead she said, "Thestrals." She had no intention of sharing that small peaceful oasis of a memory with the class. And she did find the thestrals that flew over the forest hauntingly beautiful, and they were in the sky.

Honestly, even though this wasn't their first lesson of the year, Kennedy's raspy voice still bothered Skylar for the mere fact that it served as a reminder that she and Jace had to give up their chase. She made no movement though at his question for why he was looking out the window, because he had literally told them they'll find out in a few minutes so what was the use in pestering him for the something he was watching?
Also, when he mentioned favorite thing she'd seen in the sky, she wanted to list off some positive attributes about seeing in herself. Except, nope, not exactly what the question was referring to, as she listened to some of her classmates.
"Sunrises. I run early in the morning," as some of them maybe knew. "And I especially love being able to watch the sun the come up. There's something surreal about it. Majestic."

Kalen nodded at the answer, “That is a great sight indeed.” though next time, perhaps a hand raise would be in order hmm?

Max raised his hand in the air and answered the question somewhat shyly. He didn't want anyone thinking he was strange, okay?
"I really like looking at the clouds... y'know, all the different shapes and stuff." He remembered playing that game as a kid where you had to find shapes or objects in the clouds. "But the sky before a storm is my favourite." And then the lightning was super cool.
Kalen nodded at Max as he raised his hand and gave the boy a smile as he spoke. “Clouds are amazing aren’t they? It’s fun to lay down and watch them drift by.” He said with a nod. He too liked clouds, but they weren’t his actual favorite.

Eh hem.. hand raise please. Kalen shot the girl a look before nodding at her response. “Lighting is incredibly cool, have you seen it streak across the clouds? That is an awesome sight.” As for her second question he just shrugged. “I haven’t said what it is.” And that was the end of that.

Kalen turned to look at Jessa and he sighed inwardly, he should have known she would complain and he looked over at where she was pointing and motioned the Gryffindor towards him. “If you would please sit over here so Miss Cambridge can have her seat back? Thank so much. ” He said as the Gryffindor moved and he motioned to Jessa. “There you are.

He didn't think about it until the question came along regarding something he enjoyed seeing in the sky. "Spotting Mars, among the other planets. Especially when it's looking bright." It almost was like the first time every time.
Kalen had been interested in Kirk's answer due to the boys interest in Astronomy and it didn’t disappoint. Though his lack of raising his hand did. “I do love spotting Mars, especially when it’s bright and red.” And maybe read a little War of the Worlds while he was at it.

Uhh What was with the lovey dovey stuff in his class? And from first years? He expected stuff like that from seventh years, but first years? Huh? “I would appreciate if you and Mr.Prichard kept your hands to yourself in my class.” He said with a mild shake of his head. For Merlin’s sake.. and Thestrals? Not exactly what he was going for.

Majestic."
And no hand raise? Tsk Tsk Miss Diggory. “Sunrises are very nice.” Though he didn’t like being awake to see them.
Kalen smiled at all of the answers and he glanced out the window once more, a smile crossed his face as he saw a flash of something and he set his teacup down and started to walk towards the window.
“Those were some very good answers, and as for my favorite thing that happens in the Sky, we are about to see it happening very soon.” He said as he resumed his position by the window.
“I want everyone to get out of your seats and join me by the window, for the show is just starting. ” He said as he motioned to the sky, where bands of greens were starting to flicker across it, soon pinks and even a few blues were starting to be visible. “My favorite thing in the sky is the Northern Lights or the Aurora Borealis, now while we watch, can anyone tell me anything they know about this special phenomenon? And even though we are standing, please raise your hand.” He said as he looked at them all.
Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Daisy got up from her seat and stood by the window observing the night sky where a truly magical work of nature was happening. She raised her hand when Professor Kennedy asked his question, having very little knowledge of the Northern Lights. "Solar winds cause the lights."
