Airey is intelligent, but did not make the best of students while at Hogwarts due to his short attention span and overly energetic nature. Ridiculously awkward at diplomatic silence, he is easily excited and tends towards RIDICULOUSLY big reactions in his classroom when he likes what a student has to say. Airey has an energy that can exhaust nearly everyone at times and his impish sense of humour inspires a great many practical jokes - but they are never malicious in nature...for the most part. Highly extroverted, Airey enjoys following muggle trends and is always seen in a suit. Always.

Airey showed a lot of potential at Hogwarts, but his lack of ability to focus and inability to sit still for too long landed him in a lot of trouble. After being expelled from Hogwarts towards the end of his second year for setting fire to the tapestries in the Headmaster’s office, something he swears to this day was a complete accident, he returned to Hogwarts his third year and was known as being an energetically stubborn kid known and a notorious troublemaker by staff. He was instructed by the Headmaster that he would have to commit to school activities as part of his personal development and told to join two clubs in addition to the Hogwarts choir. To everyone’s surprise, including his own, Airey fell in love with singing and music in general and was able to use it as an outlet for his short attention span. While his mischievous nature never fully left, putting a Hair Removal potion into all the professors’ goblets at the end of the term feast his seventh year and making them all go temporarily bald as an example, Airey did show that he was a capable student and kept good grades.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Airey had one of those moments where you begin to question everything you have done up until that point. He by no means felt lost, but came to realize that he needed to put SOME of his prankster ways behind and make a real name of himself. Being especially inspired by the Astronomy professor at Hogwarts, Airey became an intern at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge and attended Wizarding University where he also continued to sing and performed in musical theater. Sights set on the stars, Airey received a PhD in laboratory astrophysics and built a dream of being the first man to sing show tunes on the moon - or any heavenly body for that matter. While working for the mission operations directorate of NASA, Airey suffered from an injury in centrifuge training that left him with permanent back problems and the large scar running down his back. Medical staff permanently grounded him and were forced to remove him from the list of astronaut candidates. Completely disheartened by this, he was about to throw in the towel with space entirely until he was appointed Astronomer Royal and found a passion in teaching due to the post’s requirements and continued to work for NASA in their space training program while writing publications for the Royal Astronomical Society until taking up his current post as professor of Astronomy at Hogwarts.
And yes, he still sings and performs the occasional prank.

Medea is five foot, seven inches tall with silky black hair that falls a few inches past her shoulders, causing her skin to look even paler. She has piercing dark brown eyes that seem to be so dark at times that they could pass off as black. SPOILER!!: The Backstory
Born in Lovech, Bulgaria in early November of 2044, Medea became the second child of Carlita and Asen Romanos and the younger sister of Grigor, whom she looks up to and respects how he is able to handle their parents. She grew up in the restaurant business, their family having owned a restaurant called "Romanos and Sons" for many years. Naturally, Medea didn't quite fit in well with the title, something in which made her suspicious was why her father favored Grigor more than her. Since she was six, she'd been lending a helping hand as often as she could; not like she had a choice anyhow. Her father especially leaned towards the idea of business and believed all the education they needed was either working with their customers or cooking the food in the back kitchen.
At the age of twelve, Carlita finally reasoned with her father and she was sent to a nearby and rather low in cost school, the Ukrainian Academy of Magic. It was a small school, and not one that would be most people's first choice. Her brother encouraged her to take more advanced classes during her final three years, not to mention making sure she continued to be motivated in her studies. Her love of art grew during her years of schooling, as well as her enthusiasm for yoga and charms work.
A month after graduating, Grigor enrolled her into the Ukrainian University of Magic and Magical Theory with the use of his own money, much to father's disapproval. The relationship between the family members became tense, yet between classes at school and studying for exams and personal interests, Medea continued working for the family business; if only to receive money to pay for her studies so her brother didn't have to. She finally quit the family business and moved away at the age of twenty-two, a year after leaving the University. Studying in a classroom environment just wasn't working for her either. It seemed this was her open door to new opportunities since she ran into an ex-Professor. Ambrus Váradi was the Defensive Magic/Theory Professor at the Ukrainian Academy of Magic during Medea's first two years there, having retired after forty-four years of teaching to become a quiet tutor for the young ones that needed a little extra help. After catching up, it was agreed that Ambrus would help Medea with her independent studies, having realized that retirement was in fact boring after all. It was only a few years later did Medea start helping him with tutoring.
She continued tutoring for a year or so after Ambrus was murdered in a particularly violent house burglary, and it was only after she had stepped down from the job was she contacted about a house that was left to her in the ex-Professor's will. A summer home in Leeds, England. Not at all about to take it, she did happen to make a visit to place, if only to make sure that it would be well taken care of. However, the longer she stayed in Leeds, the harder it was to leave. Eventually, she took up the position as Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at the ever famous school of Hogwarts. She doesn't much communicate with her family anymore, but she does send the occasional owl for the holidays and does keep in contact with her brother every now and then.

Family life|| Zander lives in a house with his two older brothers, Aaron and Danny. Though he does love them, they do most of the talking in the relationship. Both Aaron and Danny have wild and LOUD personalities. They're always out late, always screaming, and always having fun. Zander, is quite the opposite. He had always grown up as the outspoken child and being the youngest certainly didn't help. His parents don't necessarily neglect him, but he isn't given as much of their time as Aaron and Danny. The two trouble makers CLEARLY need more attention.
SPOILER!!: Hogwarts experience through the years
First (not RPed)|| Zander didn't know what to expect when he got to Hogwarts. Being sorted into Gryffindor was an intimidating transition as he quickly noticed that he wasn't as loud or as off-the-bat adventurous as the others in his house. He chose to keep to himself and stuck around in his room more often than not.
Second (not RPed)|| Second year progressed much like his first. Nothing special happened, though he did become friends with quite a few of the house elves.
Third|| This year Zander made it his personal goal to branch out and was slapped in the face pretty hard at the Gryffindor 'Welcome Party', when fourth year, Zahra Kettleburn, took matters into her own hands and bit him. The incident was enough to keep him quiet again, though he did manage a couple of friendships throughout the year. The strangest one being the bond he made with second year, Kevin Hirase, the school's resident trouble maker. As the year progressed, Zander stepped further and further out of his shell, even trying to decode the Hogwarts mystery of the year with a few theories of his own (including one that pointed fingers at DADA's very own, Professor Romanos). He also developed a mad crush on the Herbology Professor, or as he liked to call her, Beautiful Bentley. As the year approached end, Zander had made it to the top of many of his classes and even became the number one point earner, which was a very huge step from the start of the year.
Fourth|| Zander was looking forward to school starting back up in September after another boring summer spent at home, though when he arrived at the castle he was faced with one disappointment after the next. To begin with, Beautiful Bentley was no where to be seen at the feast, which was very disappointing after he had practically professed his love for her at the end of last term. Seeing that he missed her during the first day, Zander made it his mission to find her before the week was up, so he made his way to the Greenhouses, where he was hit by another surprise. He arrived at the door with a vase of flowers for his favorite Professor, but when the door opened it revealed the person inside was none other than the NEW herbologist, Professor Walton. The two got off to a very rough start, with him coining Zander as 'lover boy' and leaving Zander to nickname the older man as 'Wicked Walton'. The rest of the year followed a similar pattern, though one thing was strengthened in the process: His friendship with fellow Gryffindor, Kevin Hirase. Additionally, with the help of the new Head of House, Airey Flamsteed, Zander grew to understand the true reasoning behind the sorting hat's decision for himself and also found a new interest in Neville Longbottom's biography.

First Year: Ben started attending Hogwarts for the 2069-2070 school year after receiving his letter at the turning of his eleventh birthday. Sorted into Gryffindor House at the opening feast his first year, the boy is trying his best to learn the way of his fate and how to do his house and family proud. For the most part, he was a quiet, shy boy as he tested the waters of his new school and home away from home. Most notable of his first year was the disaster in one of his final potions class where he grew fearful of the subject and potions masters in general by the horrible reaction Professor Lafay gave him in response to his explosive mistake.
Second Year: On the road, or rather track, to his second year, he was joined by a companion. Conrad the owl was adopted at the British Creature Fair. Having been rather quiet his first term as he took it all in, Ben tried his best to become more friendly and noticeable. There was no way he is going to continue to be in the shadows and his parents had done their best to nudge him out of them. At the very least Conrad had made a friend...a toad named Gus and the boy, Adi, attached seemed destined to be Ben's first real friend at Hogwarts.
All in all the term was going along rather well until both boys started noticing themselves aging a lot quicker than normal, something that was effecting a good chunk of the student body as well as half the staff. What was this mystery? By the time the end of the term came about, Benny looked ancient and felt it to, until healers from St. Mungos and the Ministry came to the rescue. The second year once more looking and feeling like the 12 year old boy he was on the train ride home.
Third Year: News that quidditch had been cancelled for the duration of the term hit the Gryffindor hard but it wasn't as if he was bored with nothing to do. In fact he was so busy with new friends and old that his best friend, Adi grew jealous, turning into days and weeks where they weren't talking to each other. At the end of the term, it was revealed he had been voted as one of the students "Most Likely to Play Professional Quidditch," as well as "Most Likely to be Best Friends Forever" with Adi.
Fourth Year: His fourth year started out almost literally with a bang. Ian, a housemate of Adi's and friend to him and AJ had decided to cause trouble on the carriage ride up to the castle culminating in a fight at the Gryffindor House table, Benny having to step in both times, first protecting his best friend's girl from a hex and then by stepping in to calm the angered friends. But that was only to be the first drama filled moment of the school year for him.
A troublesome Fairy Tale Book took quite an interest to the staff and students in the school, Hogwarts soon filled with the occasionally possessed storybook character. Ben was one of the victims, taking the form of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. The fourth year still doesn't fully remember it, bits and pieces filled in by his friends who had thought him either ill or crazy in his moment of weakness.
Angel and Benny had a friendly competition over the third spot in the Gryffindor Board most of the term, the fourth year eventually winning out with 684 house points. The boy taking seventh place in the school overall, quite an improvement over previous years.

Personality- Aegis is a bit of a Hot Head, and very short tempered. He’s also very Naïve and will cause a lot of awkwardness around him. Bio- Aegis was born to Jerome’ and Xaria Dane on September 1st 2069 in a small town just outside of Paris, France. Jerome’ was a Muggle Artist just barely making ends meet, and Xaria was a Rebellious Witch who had defied her parents by Eloping with Jerome’.
Only 2 years after Aegis’ Birth his Mother went missing under mysterious circumstances. This left Aegis with only his poor Father, who for the next few years struggled caring for him.

Bianca Evelyn Caruso was born Bumble. No last name, just a little tag left on her with the name Bumble when she was given up to for adoption. Shortly after she was placed, she was adopted by none other than the Carusos who could not have their own children. They renamed the little baby, Bianca Evelyn and since she was their daughter, it was only fitting she shared their last name. Bianca didn't know she was adopted till she was ten.
Growing up, Bianca was ridiculously spoiled. If there was something she wanted, her parents would get it for her. Her mother, Evelyn, always made sure Bianca had the best of everything. When it came to fashion, Evelyn made she her child was the most well dressed of all. After adopting Bianca, Evelyn quit being a model and decided to be a fashion designer, figuring she could spend more time with her daughter that way. Bianca was always showered with love and affection and attention. She absolutely adores being in center stage and having people watch her. You could say she lived for the applause, applause, applause.
Bianca first showing signs of being able to do magic when she was six and levitated her mother's reams of fabrics out of a window. Third Year { 2083 - 2084 }
Emmylou had mostly been sleeping on her very first train ride, she was tired out from all the fun she had been having over the summer holiday and she was over excited about going to Hogwarts and being sorted into one of the four houses. Emmylou was very nervous yet very excited about the sorting ceremony, she didn’t know how to contain herself. At first Emmylou didn’t know that her name of called, she was paying attention but maybe it was just the shock of finally being at Hogwarts and not at Beauxbatons that made her happy. Emmylou felt like it was taking her forever to finally get sorted once it was finally her turn. To Emmylou it seemed like the sorting hat was trying to find the perfect place to put her. She didn’t want it to be in Slytherin partly because she knew that she wouldn’t fit in there and it would have been the wrong house. It was her mother that had put the pressure on her for having to be in a certain house. Emmylou was very happy once she got sorted into Gryffindor. Some of her friends were in that house and her favorite and other Aunt was in that house when she went to Hogwarts, but on her way over to the table she ended up falling on her face, it could have just been the smell of the food or her being over excited about finally having a house to call her own.

As a child, Abbi had been louder than most and this still flows within in her veins today, although it has calmed down a tremendous amount. She feels that there's no need to hide opinions and therefore she generally tells it like it is. This can be a blessing and a curse, depending on the situation but generally she's not one to pretend to like someone or pretend to behave in a way that is not who she is. She does everything in her will to be true to herself even if that person changes or grows.
There is a lot of aspects in which Abbi seems and even acts innocent yet she has an inner mischievous spark. She's always wanting some small rebellious act to excite her and although this spark due to influences may be growing, she knows how to sneakily escape troubles and blame, even though she often gets herself there in the first place. That may be one of her biggest issues, that she doesn't like to take responsibility. This applies in school work and to do with relationship mess ups, thankfully though she is trying to do her best to fix it.
The young girl's brain is filled with knowledge but only within topics and subjects that interest her. Unfortunately she does not share too much of this information and simply because who would need to know a full biography on Tinkerbell or who would need to know that a capuchin monkey belongs to the cebidae family of new world monkeys? It sounds pointless, but it shows that when she does want to absorb information she can. She is also a bright spark when it comes to initiative ideas, but her ideas again are not always your everyday need-type ideas.
To sum it up Abbi is a fun loving girl, that can come off as slightly rude at times but seldom that is her intention. She is who she is and may try act cool, because it makes her feel good and boosts her confidence and ego even more so. To friends it's simple, you give her a fun time and she's yours.
⌘The Fairytale
Before Hogwarts, Abbi had grown up in Boston, USA and it was there she went to a muggle school and mingled. Her childhood was a happy one. Her parents raised a fair amount of money and they were very loving towards their only child. Therefore from this is visible that besides the magic to follow Abbi had, had an average life, yet one she had been fully contempt with and now more so contempt that her biggest dream was a relaity.
From the moment she was a child, she had always had an itch for magic. She'd read books and books about fairies and fairy tales almost convincing herself it was real, even though she actually thought it was not considering she was then a total muggle. It was when her hands started glittering at the thought of fairy dust that she began to wonder if magic did exist and from then on when she got a letter from Salem, everything changed.
Although strange how a Boston girl came to be a Hogwartian student. Well it all began way before when Abbi met her neighbor's grandson, Donnacha Harper, from Ireland. He'd come visit his grandmother via flooing which she then knew none about and they soon became inseparable. When the young girl discovered she was magical her best friend explained everything to her and of course had her all for Hogwarts. It was for that reason that the then eleven year old refused to go elsewhere. So a few months later and together they were on the way to the greatest school ever.

Family:
Parents: father is a famous Racer and Breeder of Winged horses (Aiden Belfort), his mother (Clarissa Anderson) is a sculptor. Aiden comes from a long line of risk takers and adrenaline junkies and like his ancestors is always chasing some dangerous new fad. Clarissa is calmer, very kind, and tends to calm off as passive to other people, but despite the calm, relaxed nature of the blonde woman, she is anything but passive and has a rather intense temper that can only be calmed by losing herself in her work. There are some days where neither Aiden nor Damien will even see Clarissa as she will lock herself away for ages when the urge to sculpt strikes her. Damien is very close to both of his parents.

History:
Damien was born in Colorado in a private hospital near his father’s winged horse ranch. They lived on the ranch for a few years, all the while Damien grew into s scrawny kid with a weird laugh and too much curiosity for his own good, and was bullied by the bigger kids at his school. He never told his parents, but dealt with it on his own. When Damien was eleven they moved to Chicago and he began schooling at the Salem Institute for Magic, where he made quite a few friends and managed to make good grades. It was in Chicago that Damien found his love of fashion and basketball, learning both from walking the streets of the city and becoming friendly with it’s denizens, something his grandparents tended to discourage as the city wasn’t the safest. So far Damien had been happiest in Chicago, and so when his father decided to move them to London he was less than pleased, even more so when he found out he would be transferring to Hogwarts in what would be his fifth year as the school is hands and feet better than Salem.
However, upon arriving to the school, Damien fell almost immediately in love with the castle, it’s magic and the people that now surrounded him, quickly making friends with whomever he met. Though, he is still having trouble adjusting to the rules.
Personality:
Naturally clever and aware of it, Damien never tries too hard at anything; he just sort of wings it and always manages to come out right. Damien finds talking to people easy and is never intimidated by anyone whether they’re an authority figure, someone bigger than him, or just scary looking, instead he usually manages to defuse the situation with his humor or with a cheeky remark, of which he has an endless supply. Despite his serious looks, Damien is very playful though most people don’t get his odd taste in humor or can tell when he’s joking. Loyal to a fault, Damien will do anything for the people he loves, even if the act itself would put him in dire straits, something he thinks is worth it. Kindness and good manners were taught to him at a young age and he treasures both of these traits not just in himself, but in others. Hates confrontation and avoids it, hides a lot of insecurities behind his charm and humor.
