Hogsmeade High Street

High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. There's a path that leads from the winged boar flecked front gates of Hogwarts all the way up to High Street. It's probably how you got here today!

From the main street of Hogsmeade, you can ,eet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, browse the windows of the shops as you pass by, interact with students from other houses, and just have fun on your weekend out. Enjoy!

Brynn headed up the main street of Hogsmeade, her Ravenclaw scarf wrapped snugly around her neck. She wasn't sure exactly where she was going, she was just glad to be out of the castle for a time. Last term was awful being trapped inside with the mounding snow,so she was just glad to have the opportunity to leave for a time.. even if they had just gotten back from Christmas break.

Maybe some candy first? The third year hadn't made much this year, the hobby that she had started last year.. it had been fun and something to pass the time, but she wasn't sure if she had grown bored of it or what. So she could use a few sweets. Or maybe that quill shop.. or Dervish and Banges had some neat stuff sometimes. But really, she should find Fern and get some lunch as well. That was the bad thing about being in two different houses. They couldn't meet in the common room to go out together, so she had to hope to run into her at some point.

Second years were probably not allowed out of the castle, but this particular second year had made a break for it. She felt super sneaky, all wrapped up in her cloak with a hat to cover her vibrant hair and a scarf pulled up over her nose. Thick mittens completed the padded look, and Dot felt fully incognito.

Even incognito, Dot wasn't going to take any chances, which is why she was pressed up against a wall and thinking deeply shadowed thoughts. Slytherin Ninjaaaaa. "Hi-ya," Dot whispered under her breath, and she gave the air a little karate chop.

So like any curious individual would, the brunette followed. Quietly and quickly, with little regard for her lack of proper disguise. Truth be told, she wanted to know what her father would do if she ever got a detention. Did they INFORM parents about THOSE?

"Hi." She pulled her scarf down to show Maddie her face. See? Friend. "Maddie. Here, stay against the wall so no one can see you." They probably blended in and stuff, and no one would notice two nearly invisible little second years. "What should we dooooooo? What's good here?"

"I'd like to see seedy. Let's see if they'll serve us there. D'you have any money?" Because Dot had some, but maybe not enough for all the stuff she'd like to buy AND for Maddie too.

Dot's sudden change in attitude was noted but Maddie didn't comment on it. She'd meant exactly what she'd said about them walking down the street. Anything else the red head had taken from THAT wasn't the brunette's fault, yeah? There was no hidden meaning behind her words.

Following along beside the girl, Maddie fiddled with the zipper on her coat. "M'not sure Kyroh is into candy these days but we can definitely find something for each. I think they'd like that." And considering they were always doing things for HER, she felt she should follow suit. "What kind of candy does Dima like best?" For future reference and all. Just one of the many things she should probably know by now about her f-word, yeah?

It wasn't very hard for Fern to spot her BFFL in the crowded street, and when the ever more often feeling of unease began to rise in her stomach, the 14-year-old promptly squashed it. The reason why she could so easily spot Brynny was obviously because she was wearing fashion, platform snow boots. Obviously.

And her boots were fabulous. Look at them sparkle. And those pop poms. CA-UTE.

"Brynny!!" Fern called out, running up to the redhead, "Brynny! Hey!"

Dot wove a little bit of a pattern in the street, but she mostly stayed on track as they headed toward the Hog's Head. It would be awfully cool if they got to stay, but she honestly didn't care. Anything and everything was interesting to the second year, even getting kicked out of a pub.

"Why not?" When had Kyroh gone off candy? Was there a reason, or had he never liked it? Dot drifted to a stop and let Maddie catch up. "You're a good friend. You know stuff. That's how friends should be." As for Dima's favorite candy... he liked lots of things, but she had a few ideas in mind. "I want to find him something banana-flavored."

The holidays season was her best time of the year, the snow covering the ground, the roofs, and every small surface made everything look so dreamy and romantic. Cliodna walked down the street of Hogsmeade enjoying the view and the chatter of children on the sidewalks, chasing each other or forming small groups.

Her four sugar gliders were positioned safely on both her shoulders, peeking from around her blonde locks and seemed to be enjoying the view with her as well. She started singing in her low tone to them like she always did when she enjoyed a good walk.

It had been at least 3 years ago that Daichi had set foot in Hogsmeade and he thought it was high time to check the place out again. Although he wasn't there yet, the young adult had decided to apparate his way in to Hogsmeade. Yes, he could finally apparate without splincing himself all the time, he was quite proud of that.

Dressed up rather nicely in a suit which would seem a bit cold concidering it was winter but the ex Slytherin had found a way to keep his clothes and body warm with the use of a helpful spell. Plus he was rather cautious with what he was wearing since he worked at a fashion store. His boss had constantly told him to dress nice where-ever he went because someone might recognize him. Something that hadn't happened yet of course but he was so used to it know it didn't really bother him anymore.

Daichi had apparated in Hogsmeade's high street. The place that was the easiest to remember. However, when he apparated, he hadn't been thinking about others there as well so when he appeared all of the sudden, it was RIGHT in front of a young woman. LITERALLY, right in front. ............Oops?

"M'not sure. Bet it's only temporary." She was actually curious to see how long Freckles could go without sugar. It'd be a little experiment of hers, keeping track. She'd need to construct a calendar JUST for this when she returned to the castle.

"I don't know as much as I should. I'm learning, though. Bet you know more than I do." Which probably meant Dot was a better friend. Maddie wondered if this was the reason the boys chose to sit next to her more. It was something she'd noticed. "Bet there's something banana-y for him somewhere." And they were nearing the hog's head now. Maddie's eyes widened slightly at the sign and she smiled, excited about going IN.

"After you."

Józsua had been looking forward to this for months. Wrapped up warm, he apparated to the main street in Hogsmead village to wait for his friend whom he hadn't seen since the summer. Sucked when you had friends still in school and couldn't see them.

He rubbed his woolly gloved hands together and danced on the spot a little. Cold. But not as cold as his last year in school. Being snowed in for months had brought about cabin fever at first but had soon tured into dependancy on the place.. and the people. Graduation was a different world. It seemed like a life time ago since Hogwarts and he still missed it.

And he missed one person in particular. Delilah. It made Józsua smile to himself just thinking about seeing her.

She laughed lightly when he visibly shivered and gave a small nod of her head. "Yeah, butterbeer sounds great. It is pretty cold, isn't it?" Delilah linked an arm through his, her other hand tucked deep in the warmth of her jacket pocket.

Józsua grinned and looked at Dels, seemingly studying her with a scrupulous eye. “You look.. you look really good.” He said honestly. “Really well.” And pretty.. glowing from the crisp winter air. “M'doing good, yea." Honestly, he was better than he'd been in a long time. Although he missed school, he was a lot more together these days. Things had been intense.. stressful towards the end of term and he was well aware that it had showed. "m'at uni now.. Got a place with Olly.” Delilah knew Olly, yea? Brunette, sometimes-a-little-grumpy-with certain-people, former Hufflepuff about yay high whom Józsua adored? Yeah. Her.

He buried his hands deep in his pockets when Delilah linked with him, giving her arm a little affectionate squeeze with his own. “Scotland.” He said as if that was explanation enough to why it was so cold. “Broomsticks sounds perfect.” He said gently and started in that direction.

“So how's school? Nothing too weird going on, I hope.” He glanced at Dels and smiled knowingly. Hogwarts wasn't Hogwarts without weird.

"Yeah?"Delilah couldn't help but blush slightly, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink. She shyly tucked a strand of hair behind her ears, grinning rather stupidly. "You look great, too. Better than before.. actually." Eh. Józsua had always been a good-looking boy but now, he looked.. manly. Ahem. Moving on.

Olly. Hm. Delilah didn't know her at all but she'd obviously seen her around, same house and all. "What are you studying at uni?" She still had to decide where she wanted to apply. And she had to decide fast. She wasn't confident that would even get in though.. Her smile slightly faded but mentally shook her head. Now wasn't the time to stress about her future. There was plenty of time for that later.

Delilah walked along slowly, resting her head on his shoulder. "School is.. alright. I'm just trying to focus on NEWTs and trying to spend as much time in the library as possible." She hesitated for a moment before she lifted her eyes to look up at his face, a small smile playing near the corners of her lips. "A little worried about exams, though."

The grin on Delilah's face made Józsua smile in return it was so infectious. Yeah. He'd missed that face. And that voice.. and all of Delilah really. Just her.

Better than before? His cheeks pinked a little. “I look different?” He asked. He'd grown a bit taller.. maybe lost a little weight from his already skinny frame. It wasn't like he was trying. He still ate like a starving horse with a penchant for grilled cheese with extra extra cheese.

“I got a place at Exeter.” He explained. “Languages.. like I planned.” As a former Hogwarts student he just needed to prove he could do it (and do it well) to get onto the course. Languages had always come naturally to him. Already fluent in three, he was well equipped to earn his place.

He walked along with his best friend, moving his arm around her middle when she rested her head on his shoulder. NEWTs. Józsua pulled a face. “You'll be alright though, yea?” Dels seemed really bright. “If you need a hand with anything..” He trailed off. He'd been so stressed as well in his final year, but he managed good grades in the end. A grin brightened up his face at the thought of Hogwarts though. The school gave him a nostalgia he never had with Beauxbatons after he left. “Hey, take me back with you. Sneak me in under your coat! I promise to be a good Hufflepuff.” He teased her gently and laughed brightly. If only she could.

They finally arrived at the Three Broomsticks and he opened the door for his friend, to be greeted by wonderful warm air and the scent of the open fire. He breathed in the smell, bringing back more memories of his time at Hogwarts.

Fern squealed happily as she hugged Brynny right back, then gave two air kisses before also moving to appraise her BFFL's accessorizing. The verdict: stylin'. But then Brynny said that SHE had found Fern, when really, it was Fern in her platform booties who had found Brynny. And also where was her compliment? Serious time had gone into color coordinating this outfit! So instead of saying 'Super chic scarf, Brynny!', Fern said, "Your scarf looks nice."

The 14-year-old's moodiness lasted only a few seconds, however. Because Brynny wanted to know her opinion, and Fern always had an opinion and loved letting people know so. "The Three Broomsticks! I am CRAVING hot chocolate so bad right now!" Fern slipped her arm around Brynny's, "Let's go!"

Part the way, people. Fern and Brynny, the most popular, best looking girls at Hogwarts, coming through!

Robin did not know where he was. Where were his men, his buddies! They barely separated. Maybe each one was on a mission and they'd agreed to meet somewhere? It was unlike Robin to forget but this was the only explanation. Anyway, he did not want to dwell on that any longer. He had business to tend to. He found MONEY in his pockets. Lots of it, too. Wherever that came from. He must have found a shipment on one of the roads and sold the goods which he was able to get.
