The prefects have their own compartment at the front of the train. Sometimes they hold meetings up here and sometimes special guests ride along with them.
Prefects only, please, unless you have been invited in or need assistance!

Jasmine went straight to the Prefect's compartment and closed herself inside. She chose to go there because she knew it would be empty and she needed a moment to compose herself. Technically, she wasn't even a Prefect anymore......but, she doubted anyone would kick her out. With her Pygmy puff on her shoulder, Jasmine sat down. "Well Spike, looks like it's just you and me", she said to her trusted pet. Gazing out of the window, she tried to focus on happy memories rather than sad goodbyes. Jasmine knew she'd have to leave the safety of the compartment soon........but not yet.

Beverly wasn't sure if she was excited or wanted back into the castle. OWLs were over so that meant no tutoring over the summer...maybe...maybe not...considering she wasn't going back home. It'd be fine, though, Kennedy would take care of her. He HAD to. Big brothers did that. The only thing she hoped for was no girlfriends. She didn't have the energy to be terrible. A first.
Softly patting Chomper, who currently resided clutched on to her chest, Beverly quietly entered the Prefects' compartment. It was empty save for a Ravenclaw, which was odd. At the beginning of the term it'd been packed when she'd arrived.
Whatever. The less, the better.
"Congrats on graduating." She shot Guidry a nod AND even a friendly little smile. She wondered how it felt to know you weren't coming back to Hogwarts. Must be nice? Or not...?

"Jasmine, Bevvy,'' Adi said happily as he strode into the Prefects' Compartment with Gus the Toad on his shoulder. He smiled brightly at Beverly, quite the opposite of what he got from her. Oh but wait...she was smiling at Jasmine. Was Bev becoming more tolerant of them all? Hehe.
Adi, without thinking, hugged Jasmine. Her last train ride... buuuuut, no time for sad thoughts. "Nice pygmy Puff, Jasmine.'' He gave the Puff a pat then turned to Beverly. "You like toads, Bevvy? Gus wants to be your friend.'' Ohh, don't mind your nickname either, Bev.

Jasmine was jolted back to reality by the compartment door opening. Looking up, she saw the Slytherin Prefect enter. Considering that Beverly Wayne had said a total of maybe five words to her all year, Jasmine was surprised at her greeting. Wow, she even got a smile. "Thank you", Jasmine replied with a smile of her own. She started to come back with more, but decided not to push her luck. She didn't want to ruin the moment.

Then in came Adi. It looked like the Prefects were finally starting to trickle in. The next thing she knew, Adi was hugging her and she hugged him back Jasmine was trying to maintain the calm facade that she had been working on. Why did Adi always manage to get her all wibbly? And he liked her puff. "Thanks Adi I think he's pretty wonderful too. Then she sat back in amusement as she watched the interaction between Adi and Beverly. Somehow she didn't think that the Slytherin would tke kindly to a little teasing.

Yeah, she took people by surprise with her smile, not in a vain way, but because she hardly ever exercised her cheek muscles. But hey, she's been in a rather nice mood despite things. Beverly was pretty darn proud of herself.
"Welcome." This was probably the last time she'd ever see Guidry so it didn't matter if she made small talk or not. But she was curious. "Any plans after graduation?" That was the best question that popped up in her head. Welp.
She was just setting her sugar glider on her lap when Aditya walked in. He would have gotten a grin if it hadn't been for THAT name.
Bevvy.
"It's Beverly, Aditya." B. E. V. E. R. L. Y. Yeah, she whole named him because she liked his name, but she wasn't saying that.

Oh, more talking. Jasmine was game so she jumped into the what could soon be called conversation. "Thanks Beverly. After graduation? Well I'll be traveling for a good part of the summer. After that I'll be be heading to the university to study Herbology It seemed that Jasmine had repeated that story a hundred times in the last few days. She didn't mind though. She was glad to be talking with Beverly, even if it was the last time she'd have a chance to do so. What about you? Do you have plans for he summer?"

Penelope hadn't said goodbye to Jasmine at the feast. Jasmine had been a great prefect, and had been there for Penelope in astronomy class when she had been freaking out. It was hard to believe that Jasmine was actually leaving Hogwarts.
She knew that the prefect's compartment was only for prefects, but she just had to see Jasmine. Opening the door to the compartment and cautiously poking her head in the door, Penelope looked around for Jasmine. Ooh, she was here! "Jasmine?" The young Ravenclaw girl made her way over to Jasmine. "I- I know that I'm not really supposed to be in the prefect's compartment... but I just wanted to say... I'll miss you, Jasmine."

Finally reaching the Prefects compartment he opened the door to see most of the group sitting and chatting. Finding a seat quitely he put his head against the window... He had felt so bad for keeping his head in the books this year that he hadn't come out of his room much... you know NEWT's and all that jazz. Hopefully no one was too mad at him... His head finally touched the window and his eyes closed, sinking everything in... "my last train ride" he thought.

Adi smiled at Jasmine and patted her Puff again. "What's this little Puffer's name?'' he asked. And could he kidnap it? Hehe. Just kidding.
Oh, Bevvy, Bevvy, Bevvy.
"Beverly,'' Adi said as if he were trying the name out for the first time and also noticing that the Slytherin girl had used his full first name. "Okaaay, I guess I can call you Beverly for now."
"Is that a possum? What's his name? And yes, I am,'' he replied with a wink. Adi held out Gus closer to Beverly's pet. Gus croaked. "He's saying hi,'' the Hufflepuff translated. Maybe he was a toad whisperer. LOL.
He looked around at the sound of the new voice. Penelope, right? Adi smiled at her. She came to say goodbye to Jasmine apparently. He wished the new graduate could have stayed longer. Speaking of graduates... here came another one. Adi watched Bay lean against the window and wondered if he should disturb him for a bit.

Jasmine was enjoying her first ever mini conversation with Beverly Wayne when she got another surprise. The door to the compartment opened and Penelope appeared. Jasmine got up and went over to her housemate, wrapping her in a hug. "It's OK, I'm glad you came. I'll miss you too." She was glad that Penelope had sought her out. She was definitely one that Jasmine wanted to see before she left.
Pulling Penelope to the side, she began to speak. "I am sooooo proud of you. You have grown so much since we first met. You were a scared little girl and look at you now.....a confident young lady. I know that Ravenclaw will be in good hands." It had been something to see Miss Penelope blossom. Jasmine was sad to leave, but she would try her best to leave with a smile. "I don't like goodbyes so I'll say, until we meet again." At that, she gave Penelope another hug.

Hearing people talking he knew he heard familiar voices, opening up one eye he saw Adi looking at him... such a great dude... hes going to miss him... and thats when he got hugged.

"wahoooooo" he laughed as he squeezed Jasmine tighter.. "its going to be so hard not seeing everyone everyday!!!" he said as he got comfortable again.. but of course he kept his eyes open so he could talk to Jasmine..
